This was our first time there as we heard great things about them on FB and decided to try them out. We were greeted by someone who we thought was the a hostess. Turns out she was the owner (Andrea). She was so friendly and helpful and just a delight! Once she seated us she came back and brought us a small cup of some type of cabbage soup to try, which was phenomenal! The menu is ginormous! Like the Cheesecake Factory menu... so much to see it takes a while to narrow things down. Our waitress was a young bubbly lady who was very friendly and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She took time to answer all our questions and just really looked like she liked her job (go figure!). The portion sizes are insane! The food was very hot and very tasty. I struggled to finish mine but once I removed the food from the bun, that seemed to help. Paying the bill was easy as they have the receipts with the QR code that goes right to the Toast app. Unfortunately we didn't save room for dessert but after we were done eating we did go look at all the goodies in the case. Quite a selection and lots of people in line. Kind of glad we live on the other side of town because if we lived closer we'd go broke from eating here more often lol. This is my third time in since the change of ownership/management and so far I am still liking it. They have changed the inside, which I would expect. I kind of like new look. Had the traditional eggs Benedict with potato's one egg was a bit more cooked than the other, but the two of them combined to be just fine. The potatoes were way too burnt. Now, I will say that I ordered breakfast late in the day, so why would they make new potatoes that late in the day. Now, the other hand would say, why are you going to serve anything below my standards? If the potatoes are so burnt, they are hard, black and you cannot find a potato soft enough to stick a fork in it, then that is just neglectful or you do not care. I tend to believe in the good in people, so I am guessing they did not want to disappoint a customer that ordered potatoes by telling them we ran out. Would you like something else instead. I have been in for lunches and salads and soups are above my standards and their challah bread French toast makes wonder how could anyone put up with Texas Toast. This deli has been in Green Valley for as long as I can remember it was recently purchased and the new owner Andrea is absolutely phenomenal. Their Attention To customer service and the new remodel has just given it some great ambience. I enjoy what they did to the deli you can finally see everything and I love the big Media boards they have. Now onto the food. I really liked the previous deli that was in the spot and the owners have picked up the ball and made something I couldn't think be any better actually better. First time having a Smashburger ginormous portion full of flavor I especially enjoyed the light grease. The onion rings were crisp and flavorful, and the ranch that they have is phenomenal. There are 6 ounce locks plate is a ginormous portion with two bagels. The locks is very fresh. We ordered a side of macaroni, salad, and coleslaw, which are always crowdpleasers. The top off our brunch we ordered a cinnamon roll, Do yourself a favor never ever ever ever try it. It was out of this world just the right amount of everything served warm finished it with our coffee what a great way to end our brunch would definitely recommend. I've lived in Vegas for 20 years and JUST found this place?! Better late than never! Located in the Trader Joe's parking lot in the corner by the salon is this hidden treasure! We were seated immediately and our water cups were never empty! First, it took forever to choose! So many great things on the menu! We have a list for the next few visits! A cute place to dine! I just recently started going back to Fisher's. I hadn't been there in a while since they changed the name and me and my daughter go here now once or twice a week and always order something different. They give you very big portions and the food is very good. I really like their chicken noodle soup. Occasionally I have them add the matzoh ball. Sometimes the soup needs a little bit of salt, but it is still very good. Also, the workers are very nice and they have a reward system that you can quickly get two dollars or five dollars off your order if you give them your phone number. I really like their home fries and their potato knishes. The potato salad and coleslaw are really good. The tuna fish was a little bit on the dry side the day I had it, but it was still good. I'm like super picky when it comes to tuna, and I just usually make it myself. read more

Popped in today to grab some bagels after much research. Super cute little spot! There is a sit down (indoor and outdoor) deli as well as a grab and go side with bagels, pastries and food. So I picked up 6 bagels for $10 (much more in line with what I expected to pay vs what I paid at a competitor) and. $16 a dozen. Can't wait to try them tonight!! So tried them and I really like their bagels!! Loved that I cut a bite last night and today (stored in a zippy over night) the bagel was still nice and soft and delicious! I used to come here regularly but hadn't been back in a while. I really like the updates they've made, the new furniture looks great, the outdoor seating area is a nice addition, and the bathrooms are updated and clean. The wall décor looks neat and refreshed, and I noticed some new faces around the restaurant as well. I always order the same two things: the chicken noodle soup and the Mother of All Hash, still my go-to favorites. Service was a bit slow this time, but I understand our server was new. She was very kind and polite, just not very familiar with the menu yet. She seemed a little overwhelmed juggling her tables and was moving around a lot trying to keep up. I'm sure with more time and experience she'll do great. One thing that stood out was that a couple of tables who ordered after us received all of their food, soups, sandwiches, everything, before we did. I'm not sure if there was a mix-up with our order being put in, but that part was a little frustrating. Overall, I still like this place and appreciate the improvements. I like this place..I came as a kid under different ownership and now I bring my kids. The kids love the matzo ball soup and the breakfast sandwiches. I love the corn beef, now that I have to be gluten free I really do wish they had a GF bread option so I could have a complete sandwich. I won't go as far as suggesting gluten free bagels because those are kind of an insult to bagels in most cases. The service is friendly, they are quick with drink refills and the deli is also great when you need something quick or have a sick kiddo who needs some soup :) read more

Fisher's Deli is a Jewish Style Deli that is located in Henderson. The people all work very hard to serve you as fast as they can and they all really do seem genuinely very nice but they make lots of mistakes. It would have been better if our server didn't serve my husband a flat soda so he wouldn't have to bother her to send it back. It would have been better if the food runner waited to run my plate out before it was finished. (I had to ask for cream cheese and was missing onions) It would have been better if we didn't have to ask for silverware. Someone that looked like an owner or manager asked me if I needed anything as soon as my plate arrived. That was nice and I noticed that I didn't have cream cheese but. blanked out on the onions. I think he should have noticed my plate was incomplete. It would have been MUCH BETTER if they served me whole fish like what is pictured on their on-line menu for the whitefish plate instead of the (possibly older tasting ends) that they probably use to make whitefish salad. (also I didn't have a scale on me but was suppose to be served an 8 ounce portion. I ate less than half so I should have had at least 4 ounces left but only had just over 3 ounces when I weighed it at home so I believe I was served a slightly short portion) The cole slaw had a strange taste today and also was watery and unseasoned. I asked my husband to taste it. He said, "WOW that tastes weird." The knish tasted good but would have been better if it didn't have a rubbery crust. On the other hand the pastrami on rye bread was good. Also the potato salad tasted fresh made and was good but needed seasoning and the pickles were good. What's old is what's new again. It's no secret that a while back the long standing Weiss deli changed ownership and name to Fisher's delicatessen. This was our first time here since the name change. We came in for early dinner late lunch to a fairly open restaurant about half filled. One big change you need to know is they are open til 8 pm every night now. So you can get your deli fix for dinner time just as well as the long standing breakfast and lunch. They are still using menus with name Weiss which I hear is changing soon but the food still seemed s good as ever. We also had great service and this small little cafe was nice nd clean with why looked to be n update of wall pictures and such. When dining in Green Valley this is till one of my favorite delis. If you have never been here or haven't been since the name and ownership change know that everything is as good as ever. read more

The shop is cute and tucked away in the corner of the plaza. The girl at the front counter was very friendly, and the guy behind the counter was super helpful with recommendations on sandwiches and bread types. The space is clean, with both a dine-in area and a to-go counter. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with a side of potato salad to go. This is where my experience took a slight dip. First, I think $20 for the sandwich is pretty steep. I understand that everything is fresh and good-quality, but the portion size and overall taste didn't feel worth the price. Second, I personally wasn't a fan of the chicken salad. While others might enjoy it, I found the chicken to be a bit tough and hard to chew, and the flavor was pretty mild. The potato salad was also bland. I ended up adding a good amount of their hot sauce just to give the sandwich some flavor. Third, the sandwich construction made it a little difficult to eat. The chicken salad was placed as a single scoop in the center rather than being spread evenly across the bread. It also would've been nice to be given, or at least offered, utensils for the to-go order. I ended up eating the potato salad with the side pickle, which surprisingly worked out as a flavor combo, but still not ideal. Overall, I wouldn't say this place is bad at all, especially since they have plenty of other menu options. But based on the flavor, sandwich build, and price point, I wasn't fully satisfied and probably won't return for a while. read more

Had the classic Rueben which hit all the right notes- generous portion (could barely eat half), the right amount of kraut and well grilled rye. Side of potato salad was perfect, not overly oniony. Went back the next day for potato pancakes. Large portion, great flavor and nicely served. All the dishes I saw were all along the same line, beautiful presentation of great flavors. This place has an obvious return clientele which always is a good sign. My table neighbor on both days raved about the chicken soup. I happened to visit this restaurant on St. Patrick's Day and they were offering a corned beef and cabbage special for $21.95, so I decided to go for it. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed. I asked for the corned beef lean and they were pleased to do that for me. It was a generous portion of corned beef. The boiled potatoes were fine, but the cabbage was quite poor. It was a large wedge but it was of poor quality. It appeared to me that they simply purchased poor quality cabbage that day. Hopefully, next time I'll try something else on the menu and have a better experience. Otherwise, I thought this restaurant was fine. Service was attentive and friendly. It does seem popular and it does get crowded, and so you may have to wait for a table during busy periods. read more

Being Jewish and having lived in Los Angeles for 30 years, I feel well-qualified to judge Jewish Delis. Service was excellent. Very attentive. We never had to ask to get our drinks refilled. It happened automatically. The shining star of this restaurant is the Matzo Ball Soup! You could tell broth was 100% homemade. It's wasn't salty like Campbell's Soup. It was chicken-y perfection. The matzo ball had the perfect texture and the carrots, celery, noodles and chicken made it shine. The pastrami sandwich was very good. My friends had the massive open face Ruben and they loved it. On the way out, I grabbed some onion bagels that were super. I also got to try their macaroons and they were on point. Really the only thing I wasn't crazy about was their chopped liver. New booths, new ceiling, a couple of TVs, this place is looking great now. We went today for Mother's Day brunch. My son and I split the large lox platter. It comes with a nice pile of fresh smoked salmon, tomorrow, onions, pickles, olives, cucumbers, and pickled tomato's. For our side we got French fries and I also added on a side of smoked whitefish. My mom ordered her favorite, the Ceily stack. Huge potato pancakes with delicious sliced brisket, smothered in provolone cheese and topped of with an amazing, rich, savory brown gravy. Even though it was pretty busy, our server and the staff were right on point with drinks and refills. Diving into the lox, the freshness is what always stands out here. I've been to just about every other deli here and the lox here is second to none. All the accompaniments be nice n fresh and even the French fries are a little better here. The side of smoked whitefish was a great addition. They deboned and deskinned it for me to dive into the delicate white flesh. Again the freshness is unmatched. We all had to try a bite of the Ceily stack of course. It is by far the best thing on their menu. Tasty potato pancakes with perfectly seasoned brisket paired with the melted, gooey cheese and gravy make this a perfect meal to satisfy you. Since I lived here, this is the 3rd ownership. But the cool thing about it is that the menu has stayed mainly the same. Including their soups which is what I was craving today. I was lucky in arriving early for lunch, so the lunch crowd wasn't there yet, and I was able to be seated. I ordered the beef & cabbage soup. A dish I have been eating there for the past 25 years. Unfortunately, it was not as good as the last time I had it, or the many times before. It has always been like a sweet and sour base. This time the soup was very salty, almost inedible. It was served with bagel chips, which were nice and crunchy. I wish I was super hungry to enjoy one of their sandwiches. I saw them coming out of the kitchen looking delicious. Hopefully the next time I visit the soup will be better. I will definitely be ordering a sandwich too. The service was excellent all around. read more

My neighbor texted me that he would like a great pastrami sandwich but it had to be on rye so a quick google search and a few options popped up. Fishers(formerly Weiss deli) had great reviews and was closest to us so we made a plan and had lunch with Fishers deli today. Extremely memorable. The menu is packed with gems and the whole pastrami sandwich with fruit as a side did not disappoint. Soft sliced rye bread packed heavily with lean pastrami was as delicious as it gets. Massive fruit selection for the side and a pickle and a pickled tomato looking thing that was also tasty. I had a chocolate soda water drink that I had never heard of before and it went down fast. Then I got a Dr Browns black cherry soda which I had not had in years. Clean restaurant with very friendly staff. The service was top notch and the tables close enough together that we made a few friends. I just love Fishers and what they have done for the establishment and the area. This place is just so classic it feels like going home for dinner. The bagels are always so fresh and great flavor options from everything, garlic, salt, blueberry, etc. the food is delicious and just has that comforting great taste. The place is super clean and has a soda machine that just hits so much better than a can or most restaurant sodas. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and most of all they are always improving like adding new specials, new dinner items, etc. I love that they are open for dinner! I always say Henderson has a lot of good lunch places but not dinner places. This is a place my whole family of all ages can enjoy because there is literally so much variety that we all get something good we want plus the staff is always so friendly and remembers you. My family loves Fisher's Deli. It is our go to breakfast spot. I personally love the homemade corned beef hash. All the servers are fast and friendly, we especially like Margie :). I've been coming here for years and hands down my favorite chicken salad and my favorite potato salad. Like I pass them on the way home from work and the amount of times I've "accidentally" pulled in to the shopping center is kind of embarrassing. Before I had to stop eating wheat, their giant black and white cookies were also a must have. My daughter loves the macaroons! The restaurant is also amazing and last time I was there...I was SOooo hungry for a Reuben sandwich since I hadn't had one since before the wheat thing (ughh) so I asked them if there was any way they could take all the stuff that was in a Reuben and throw it on top of my side of fries and they did! They were so nice even though it was a weird request. And holy **** it was so good. They even took the time to put it under the broiler for a minute to make sure all the cheese was melted! I stopped by here since going to Trader Joe's. I was craving pastrami with chopped chicken liver. They had Boucheron on the menu that I ordered. It was pricey but everything now a days is. Long story short, it was disappointing at the very first bite. The pastrami was dry and they really skimped out on it. The chopped liver bland and they put so much red onion and lettuce on it to hide the lack of meat I supposed. I needed to drink so much water to help it down. Vegas has some pretty good hidden gems and this one was just thank, thanks to my mother-in-law! I urge anyone that lives in Las Vegas or is just visiting that is looking for a place that serves up some superior comfort food with a side of warmth and hospitality, Weiss Restaurant Deli Bakery is a must-visit for sure! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was electric--lively chatter, the clinking of silverware, and a sense of community that was palpable. It felt like a neighborhood hub where both locals and visitors alike come together to enjoy great food and even better company. I ordered the Rueben with fries and pickles, (for a decent price) and let me tell you, it was nothing but comfort. The Rueben was stacked like Empire State Building with tender, flavorful corned beef, melted Swiss cheese, (no sauerkraut, because I don't like it), and mustard (because I subbed mustard for dressing), all sandwiched between perfectly toasted rye bread. It was hearty and satisfying, and those crispy fries that come fresh out the oil. All of this was accompanied by house made pickles that tasted crunchy, tangy, and just plain refreshingly crisp. To me what truly set this experience apart, though, was the atmosphere. I kind of regret taking it to go because inside some of the people were striking up friendly conversations with me while I was waiting for my order--sharing recommendations for other great dishes to try or simply enjoying a good laugh. ( I even had one elderly gentleman tell me a story about why he justified himself getting food from here today due to an angry driver honking his horn at him because he was driving too slow). First time eating at the restaurant since the change of ownership (I've ordered delivery) and had I not known about it previously I wouldn't have realized the change. The food is just as good as ever. I ordered a 1/2 Corned Beef on Rye which comes with a cup of soup which I added Matzoh to. I cut my 1/2 Sandwich in half and ended up taking it home, the Corned Beef is delicious. The soup is definitely made with love- so much flavor with pieces of chicken, noodles, carrots, celery and of course the matzoh. I couldn't finish that either. They definitely have big portions. They also still have my favorite, Dr. Brown's Black Cherry Soda! My BF had the Pastrami on Rye which is his favorite. The hostess was super friendly and our server was great- helpful and attentive. I overheard, I believe the owner explaining to a customer that they were adding mirrors to the walls and doing a few other things (currently there isn't much decor). He was also friendly, checking to see how our meal was. The deli/bakery section is much nicer than before, a good variety of food neatly displayed. When Fishers first took over, the rye bread was fresh and delicious, obviously baked that morning. I've had two disappointing visits since, the latest being this morning. About a month ago I actually returned a loaf of the rye bread and asked for a refund. However, I thought maybe it was just a bad day . and this morning I gave them another chance. I ordered a loaf of rye bread. Again, it was dry and like yesterday's bread. It's such a shame to have such inconsistency and I'm sorry I had such high hopes.
