Showboy BakeShop located in Vons plaza, this place is an absolute gem. Winners of Cake Wars on food network, these folks know how to make delicious and delectable treats. Whether it's actual cakes, cake pops or cupcakes and even chocolate covered Oreos, you cannot go wrong getting treats from here. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly and just a delight to deal with. Picked up 18 cake pops today for the Raiders tailgate tomorrow. Stopped in earlier and he did t have what we were looking for, but he advised that by 4pm he'd have a new batch of fresh chocolate cake pops: So we left and returned at 4:07 pm and found the display case full. Ample parking in a private lot and simply awesome business.

I was doing some errands around the area meeting up for a quick bite with a friend and stumble into this yummy Cupcakery. The decor is beautiful totally showbiz and lavish, there creations totally eye appealing and the cupcakes yummy. What I wish for is that they will serve coffee or beverages. This is the place to go pickup your baked treats. Still we had some water on the car and ate the cupcake !!

They did a remarkable job on getting what I needed when I needed it on what I felt to be such short notice. The cupcakes were a hit at my boyfriend's 40th birthday. I ordered 3 dozen and maybe only had 6 left over for me to take home after the party. I can not express how thankful I am that they were able to fill the order. (Because like I said I feel like it was such short notice) this is the second time I have got cupcakes from them and they are by far my favorite. This is now my go to place when I need to order anything for events.

WOW, WOW, WOW! We LOVE Showboy. From the first time we purchased a four pack of cupcakes to sample as we were trying to decide on our wedding bakery we were HOOKED. Their flavors are delicious and their customer service is superb. They were able to accommodate my extra-ness when I didn't want the extra toppings to go with the flavors since I was adding my own touch to fit my travel themed wedding. When I sent my inspiration (from Pinterest) of the cake I want, they went above and beyond my expectations and it was absolutely perfect. The flavors are all SO good. Everybody kept asking where we got our cake and cupcakes and I want to scream from the rooftops SHOWBOY! Go here. You won't regret it.

I ordered custom made cupcakes for my boyfriend's birthday back in November. He was recently raving about it and showing his friend's photos. The cupcakes were absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. I called a couple days ahead of time to get the order in, and it was such an easy process. I told them I wanted it to be Kansas City Chiefs themed. I arrived to the bake shop, cupcakes were ready right on time. The shop is stunning inside. All the amazing cakes were on display. When I brought the cupcakes home and laid them out on the birthday table, they were definitely the centerpiece. Thank you Showboy Bakeshop! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect cupcake and the flavors were INCREDIBLE! I'm just sorry it took me so long to write this review and let others know. If you have an event coming up, this is the place to go!

10/10 I moved here from Boston and used the same bakery my whole life. Needed a local bakery for my son's birthday. My son isn't into any characters as we don't watch tv. So I just went with his interests. My son loves lawn mowers and leaf blowers so I sent an AI cake to the bakery- informing them I was aware it was AI and to just do their best. Showboys cake came out better than the AI one I sent for inspiration. And after I had ordered the cake my son started showing interest in blues clues so they luckily made a change and got Blue on his cake. Can't recommend this bakery enough. The man at the front desk the day I went to pick up my cake was super kind and a pleasure to talk to.

I recently ordered a flamingo-themed cake from Showboy Bakeshop for my Mom's 75th Birthday, and I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it turned out. The attention to detail was incredible --it was exact to the picture I gave them. It wasn't just a cake; it was a work of art! Not only was it visually stunning, but the flavor was just as impressive. The sponge was moist and flavorful, and the frosting was perfectly balanced -- not too sweet, with a silky texture that melted in your mouth. the strawberry shortcake filling was amazing. It was a hit with everyone at the party! If you're looking for a custom cake that combines beauty and taste, I highly recommend Showboy Bakery in Henderson. They truly exceeded my expectations and made the celebration extra special.

These show boys are the absolute best! We ordered our cake a few weeks in advance and were incredibly excited about it the whole time. Everyone was so impressed with the design and taste of Joseph's Elmo cake. The smash cake was so well done and a fun surprise. If you're open to letting Showboy use their creativity, it's 100% worth it! We can't wait to see what's in store for our next big celebration.

Super cute bakery! Stopped in the morning of my daughter's graduation party to pick up a dozen assorted cupcakes. Prior to going I called up and they told me they make them fresh daily. They opened that morning at 10am so I made sure to get there by 11am so I would be able to pick out the cupcakes I wanted. They had so many delicious cupcakes to choose from. I was able to pull up the cupcake menu on their website so I knew which ones I wanted before going. I went with the Red Velvet, Bombshell, Lemon Minnelli, Times Square, and the Big Apple. We were so delighted that everyone raved about them and said they were so fresh, soft, moist, and so delicious! I can't wait to come back and enjoy a cupcake myself and order again for future holidays/occasions :) Thank you Showboy Bakery!

I knew I had to check this place out after seeing a FB friend post pictures of some of Showboy's cupcakes & how she raved that they were her favorite. I was excited to see that this place wasn't too far from home after checking it on Yelp. I LOVED the decor inside & how the cupcakes are displayed in their own little cake stands. I was greeted right away when I walked in by Heather who told me that her brother & BIL owned the shop when I asked her if she was the owner. I only picked out 3 cupcakes. One was for my friend that was a chocolate cupcake with a peanut butter frosting as he likes both of those ingredients. I sent it to work with his this morning so I don't know if he liked it or not. I ate one last night that was a funfetti cupcake with a vanilla frosting that was very moist & fresh tasting. The frosting was very sweet, maybe a tad sweeter then what I like but it was still good. I also got a vanilla cupcake with a blue colored frosting & I can't think of the name of it now....lol I have yet to try it, I'll be bringing it to work today. A cookie stuffed with cream cheese frosting caught my eye so I got one of those too & I really liked it. It was very tasty. The cookie was soft & the filling was just right! I made a comment on the Sesame Street cake (looked like a model one) & Heather told me that it won on Cake Wars (I believe that is what she said). Cupcakes are $3.50 per one or $38 a dozen, a little pricey but expected from them being homemade vs. "store" bought. I'll definitely be back here vs. going back to another cupcake shop in town.

INCREDIBLE! My jaw dropped when I picked up our daughter's 1st birthday cake we ordered for her "1st year down" which happened to fall on Super Bowl Sunday this year!!!! It was perfection! Showboy bake shop listened to my vision and executed it perfectly! Our guests raved about how delicious the funfetti cake was and how professional the cake was! Can't thank them enough for making our daughter's 1st birthday so special! Their cupcakes are UNBELIEVABLE too- purchased them on a separate visit but they definitely live up to their reviews and hype!!! They will forever be our Henderson bakery for our cake/cupcake needs!!

My husband and I were in the area and decided to check this bake shop out. As we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a staff member. We were surprised with the interior of the bake shop. It was dark and very decorative with a sweet aroma. They had a variety of cupcakes, cake pops and a few cookies! Some were the basic and safe cupcakes like red velvet, vanilla, chocolate and also different cupcakes I've never heard of before. So we decided to try the West End, which was an earl grey cupcake! It was deliciously moist! It was $3.50 for one. Not bad at all. If I am craving cake, I'll definitely make my way here!

Still the best cupcakes in Henderson! Service was great and always on point. Ambiance is casual. Love the decor and theme of the cupcake place.

I also got the lemon tart to go. Quick note, as others have mentioned, it isn't cheap. We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!

CREPES, COFFEE AND MORE…read more.. I went to this French cafe over a week ago to try to get a crepe to go. It was not overly busy. It's very casual and easy to order at the counter and go. Think again. I got through the line quickly. Placed my order and watched everyone around me receive their food, dine and leave within 30 minutes all while I was still standing at the front waiting for 1 gluten free crepe with fruit. There was a sign up front that asked guests to be prepared to wait longer times so I really tried to be patient. I waited. After 40 minutes still standing up front I still had no crepe. I asked the cashier if she remembered me and she said my order would be ready momentarily. I took a closer look at the order and noticed that the gluten free crepe was buckwheat batter of which when I ordered they didn't make mention of this. Due to my allergies and sensitivity I had to wait again to speak with someone else who appeared to be managing, perhaps the owner. He claimed they make their own batter and brought out the bag of buckwheat flour. Then read on google the ingredients. I really thought a gluten free crepe was mainly made of alternative flour such as coconut flour--not here. I also pulled up this information however I did not want to take a risk. He told the cashier at the counter to issue me a refund and he turned back around to make more coffee orders. I overall felt like I had wasted my time here. I used to take my kids here and haven't been here since they remodeled and expanded. I was by myself and really just wanted something to eat but was not offered anything else. That part upset me the most. Then my refund took a week long. Really thought the refund should have been immediately. The cafe is really cute! I love the decor and feel in here but just really disappointed in this whole experience and not the best quality of customer service. Located on Horizon Ridge Parkway in Green Valley.

Lindsay, my sister, sent me pictures months ago showing me what she wanted and those pictures were sent to Darlene. Very simple, no frills, black, flat top, chocolate cake with smooth sides. Ive seen the pictures on her site,so I know she could do this. If she couldn't, she shouldve done a practice run and at least given Lindsay more than a few hours notice before dropping a bomb on what should be the happiest day of someones life. This is so insanely unprofessional! Honestly, a refund is not even enough for doing that to someone on their wedding day! I spent the day before the wedding calling every single bakery in Las Vegas, willing to pay double to get her something to be able to cut with her husband on her happy day and it was too short of notice. Not only did Darlene not apologize, she tried to pass off a bulbous, over decorated cake that looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture, saying "here's your gorgeous cake". When Lindsay expressed that it wasnt even remotely close to what they discussed, she took no accountability, offered no solution and simply said, "it can't be changed, sweetheart". Upon further conversations, she said she would "try" to make something else. At $350 for flour and sugar, it should look exactly like the picture. It honestly probably took more work to make what she presented than what Lindsay actually wanted. As a small business owner myself, I know mistakes happen, but I also know the importance of customer service, making things right and taking accountability. Word to the wise, maybe do a test run first to ensure your wedding day isn't ruined if you choose to work with Darlene.
