Steak and eggs
Jen H.

We were heading to Lowe's and saw this cute little place and decided to get some breakfast first. Was immediately greeted by this very well mannered young man. The atmosphere right off the bat was amazing. They sat us right away even though it was very full and busy. We ordered, while waiting for our food we saw other patrons food being delivered and the portions were HUGE. I mean lot average HUGE. So I was so excited when my omelet came out. It was cooked to perfection hash browns were delicious. And had an English muffin. Yes. Some would call it an average breakfast I called it magnificent. The flavor was out of this world. My hubby ordered steak and eggs he said the steak was so flavorful and tender. This place rates very high. Yes because the food was great but the atmosphere and friendly service will keep me coming back

This place had been on my list for awhile and I finally got a chance to try it, and I've got to say, I was quite disappointed. I wanted some traditional pancakes and sausage so I ordered their full stack with sausage and eggs on the side to make sure a meal. I also got some hot tea. The meal came out quickly and was huge, but upon eating it, the flavor was just not there b the pancakes were dry and needed way too much syrup to even have a chance. Even the sausage patty, which looked very promising, was missing flavor. I had to add Cholula to the sausage and eggs just to give them any flavor. I was very impressed by the size of the dish and actually took half of my pancakes home. That being said, $20 for two eggs, some sausage, and pancakes is very overpriced to me. Even more overpriced was the tea bag and some hot water for $4! I will say my server was incredibly kind and probably one of the best I've ever had. Shout out to Ellanay! After all was said and done though, I was not impressed and quite upset I didn't go to my usual spot up the road, Scrambled.

This little hole in the wall restaurant is very well appointed!

I'm sure I'm not alone in this, but I love breakfast. Upon moving to Las Vegas I have found numerous breakfast places, and they've all been good, but a few really catch my eye. Pegs Glorified Ham and Eggs is definitely one. It's tucked away in a little strip mall, would be easy to mess if you didn't know it was there. But I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get a table on any weekday morning. The ambience is great, the service is stellar, but the real star of the show is the food. I have gone to Peg's numerous times and had different things each time, and have never been disappointed once. One of the things that I always judge in restaurant on is when they bring the milk out with the meal. Long time readers of my Yelp reviews know that it is that attention to detail. That makes a difference for me. Pegs passed the test with flying colors! I highly recommend the stuffed French toast, the pancakes.... Well. To be honest, I've never had anything bad off the menu that I wouldn't have again. The bottom line is run. Don't walk and get yourself some amazing breakfast at Peg's Glorified Han n Eggs!

The staff is so nice and friendly. Don't you hate it when a customer comes in 15 minutes before closing? Well we did that and the staff didn't blink and welcomed us in. They close at 2 on the door but on Yelp it said 3. The food was delicious and in large portions. We ordered the Hawaiian breakfast, another the breakfast burrito and the two others ordered the chicken fried steak. We also ordered a short stack for the table. No one had any complaints. When I'm with the family I'll suggest we come here for a good breakfast.

Located on S Eastern clean restaurant and great service. Average breakfast first time here tried a few items at 0630 they were the only breakfast establishment open off strip the other options open between 0700-0800 on a Sunday. This restaurant serves an American Breakfast and some Hawaiian breakfast options which I did not try during this visit.

We were greeted by the friendliest staff instantly upon walking in! The store looks modern and clean! Traci was our server and she was the absolute best! Food came out fast, fresh and yummy! She gave refills without ever needing to ask and she was so sweet! Such a great personality! Thank u for a great first meal of 2026!!!

Went over the weekend as we stumbled across it on the way to NIKE and we were really Pleased as we were sat quickly and the food came shortly after ordering. Huge food selection so trust me you will find something to love. Service was great as well only Flaw was coffee was horrible but other than that the food and service was great

Having my car serviced nearby and wanted breakfast while the work was being done. Quick walk over to Peg's. No problem getting a table at 8:30 AM on a Wednesday morning. The restaurant is simple in the decorating with some booths and mostly tables. Ellanay came by soon after I sat down with a warm greeting and to take my order. Being pretty hungry, I went with the meat lovers omelette ($19.50) with a side of hash browns and two slices of toast (the toast is unlimited so you can have more if you are still hungry after the huge omelet). Service was excellent throughout. Food was delish. Great place for breakfast.

Scrambled eggs and bacon

We've been to Peg's several times over the last few years and have always had a great experience, and today was no different. I was craving some eggs Benedict and they definitely do it right here. In the past I've had their El Caliente Benedict which is chorizo patties in an English muffin with poached eggs and a spicy chorizo hollandaise with some fresh sliced jalepenos. It's amazing but my stomach wasn't ready for all that fire today so I just got the traditional eggs Benedict. The portion size is perfect, served with a nice helping of hash browns. The hash browns were nicely browned and flavorful. Their hollandaise has just a touch of lemon in it and is perfectly creamy and satisfying. I also had a glass of fresh squeezed OJ that is absolutely delicious and worth every penny of the $6.99 cost. My girlfriend ordered the bacon and eggs. The eggs were scrambled nicely and the bacon is to die for. They're several nice big slices that are on the thicker side and cooked just right. About the only negative I have to say is about the toast that she got with her breakfast. She ordered sourdough but unfortunately it was cooked a bit too dark. The other thing with the toast is that they only serve one piece and they cut that in half. Other than that, we had a wonderful meal and will definitely be back again!

For the bacon an eggs with fruit and toast. The bacon, eggs, and toast were cooked perfectly. The fruit was also nice and sweet Sat up at the bar watching all the food come out. I'm normally pretty picky but everything that I watched them prepare looked amazing. Staff was also super friendly!

Ask the Community - Peg's Glorified Ham n Eggs

Do they have a kid's menu?

Yes

Is it Vegan Friendly?

They have one designated vegan dish which is pinto beans, salsa and hash browns. The hash browns were cooked with regular butter and I was happy the server told me before they came out. Overall nice service but definitely not vegan friendly

Is there a kids menu?

Yes there is

The restaurant was extremely busy, and it seemed like there were two different ways to check in--one in person and another online through Yelp. After checking in, we waited about 25 minutes before even making it to the front of the line, with only a party of about 10 ahead of us. Since we were only a party of two, we figured we would be fairly easy to seat. We checked with the hostess twice to make sure our name was on the waitlist. During that time, we watched several small parties of three or fewer get seated, including some we had seen check in after us. After about 15 more minutes standing near the host desk and seeing a third small party seated ahead of us, I asked to speak with a manager. Savanna, the manager, was clearly very busy and actively helping throughout the restaurant, but she still took the time to get us seated, listen to what happened, look into the issue, and then come back to update us. That extra follow-up wasn't necessary for me personally, but it showed a lot of professionalism and attention to customer service. She also mentioned using the situation as a "teaching moment," which I appreciated. My only real critique is that the restaurant may need a better way to merge the in-person and Yelp check-in systems so the waitlist feels consistent and fair. There was probably also an opportunity for the hostess to catch the issue after we checked with her multiple times. Despite the rough start, the food was excellent, the table service was great, and Savanna handled the situation very professionally. I would definitely give Broken Yolk another visit.

We walked in around 1230pm on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all (which was to be expected) but there were quite a few tables being occupied so I can only imagine how busy it can get on the weekends. The place is clean, bright and very modern feeling. I liked the ambiance a lot, even if it was a little chilly in the dining room. Service could have been a bit better, but I do understand it was a weekday and there probably weren't very many servers working. It took a very long time to have our server greet us and take our orders. We didn't get straws with our drink and had to wait so long to flag someone down for one. When we did see our server, she was nice and friendly though so there is that. The food was fantastic and very much made up for the not so great service. The pancakes are huge and taste great. I love that they offer extra crispy bacon. I wish there were more accompaniments I could pay for to add to the grits (they were the only thing I thought was bland and needed something else.) Overall, I'd absolutely eat here again, expecting that the service will be bad but the food will be good.

A Perfect Fall Breakfast!…read more Fall Croissant Sandwich A little messy to eat, but absolutely worth it! The first bite of the croissant is delightful -- buttery, soft, and perfectly crispy. The fluffy scrambled eggs are wrapped in creamy, savory cheese, while the maple-infused patty adds just the right touch of sweetness. And the pickled jalapeños? They bring everything together with a tangy little kick at the end. Such a delicious balance of flavors! Rustica Frittata Oh. My. God. This one was made for my taste buds! There's a delightful tanginess that lingers with every bite, followed by a subtle, comforting cheesiness that I absolutely love as a cheese lover. The combination of kale, mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions makes the Rustica so flavorful and satisfying. Every ingredient works beautifully together. I could happily eat this again and again! Lemon Ricotta Pancakes A creative twist on ordinary pancakes! The lemon custard brings a refreshing, bright flavor that makes these pancakes feel like something entirely new. And the warm syrup served alongside them? Such a thoughtful finishing touch that makes the whole experience even better. What a perfect way to start my morning. Breakfast was an absolute success!

To make up for their lack of, well, anything good, we were given $40 worth of gift certificates. So, we returned a few months later. We ordered again. Service was better but it took forever for the food to arrive. And it still wasn't good. One would think a breakfast place could make eggs. Once again, we were comped. We tried to give back the $40 certificates but was told to try them again. We then gave the $40 away to friends. They tend to like saving money and frankly may not be as picky as we are. They tried the place and had difficulty using the $40. The freebees were ultimately accepted but even our friends were disappointed. I can't think of ANY reason to return. Go up the street to Eggworks instead and be happier with the food.

Great Sunday Breakfast!…read more Took the kids to Egg Works on Sunday and we had a great time! The place was lively and busy, and there was about a 10-minute wait for a table. But if you're not set on a regular table and don't mind sitting at the bar-top seating, definitely check there first. We found three open seats right away, walked in, sat down, and ordered -- no wait! I had one of their Tuna Melt Sandwiches, Joey had a plain cheeseburger, and Jade had the banana bread French toast. I also ordered their mimosa special, which was really good! Parking is a little limited, but we lucked out and got a spot right out front. Service was great -- everyone was attentive, friendly, and super helpful, even with how busy they were. Great food, great service, and a fun, lively atmosphere. Place is super easy to find, you cannot miss the logo and there is plenty of parking. One thing I like about this place was they have a lot of outdoor seating and the even air fans with misters on them, which is great for these very warm mornings. Inside place was bright and airy. Lots of wood. Only took a moment to be seated, started off my meal with water and a coffee. They were pretty busy, so service took a little bit longer than expected, it was definitely not a bad. The coffee was strong just the way I like it. I decided to order the blackened prime rib eggs Benedict, which also came with hash browns. When it arrived, I was surprised to see that it came on a croissant rather than a English muffin, no worries either way, it was delicious. The meat was really well. Seasoned and wild and hash browns were kind of pedestrian they were. They were cooked to a very good crisp and was a nice compliment to the rest of the meal. The bottom line? I would definitely come back here again and check out all the different things this place has to offer..

I had really high expectations for The Stove Las Vegas, but unfortunately our experience was one…read moredisappointment after another. We reserved the private room in the back to celebrate a birthday, expecting the same fun, energetic atmosphere that The Stove Las Vegas is known for. Instead, it felt like we were completely forgotten. Our food took over two hours to come out because we were told the printer in the back wasn't working. Throughout, we kept hearing different explanations for the delays. At one point, our server even mentioned that she was serving six tables. While I understand that unexpected issues happen, those are internal operational challenges. As guests celebrating a special occasion, we expected solutions and proactive communication--not a series of reasons why things weren't going well. When my food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. I ordered the Hangover Heaven Burger, and it was extremely dry and sloppily assembled. The fries were also a much smaller portion than expected. What made the experience even more disappointing was watching the main dining room. Guests out there were enjoying the full party atmosphere--birthday signs, tequila shots, music, and staff celebrating with them. In our private room, none of that happened. The birthday girl wasn't acknowledged at all. No sign, no tequila shots, and no birthday celebration despite booking the private room for that very purpose. We also were never informed when booking that the private room required a $500 room rental fee or that there was a minimum food and beverage spend. Those are important details that should be communicated upfront before guests commit to hosting an event. To make matters worse, the private room was extremely hot and uncomfortable throughout the evening, making an already frustrating experience even less enjoyable. Overall, what should have been a memorable birthday celebration turned into a disappointing evening. Between the two-hour wait for food, poor food quality, lack of communication, hidden room costs, uncomfortable environment, and the complete lack of birthday recognition, I cannot recommend The Stove Las Vegas for private events. There are too many restaurants in Las Vegas that provide better communication, better hospitality, and a much better experience for celebrating life's special moments.
