Perfect brunch place with good prices. Everything is a reasonable price and the portions are great. We joined the waitlist online and when we got there we only had to wait an additional 10 minutes. Service was very friendly and I loved how she gave her opinion on dishes we thought about getting. I got half sandwich and salad combo for $12. It was really tasty and filling too. Salad was a big size. I got the roast beef sandwich. The bread was Parmesan crusted and had a good amount of meat. I was excited to break into a runny yolk, but instead the yolks were completely dried out. When we mentioned it to our server, the response was simply, "Overcooked -- do you want another egg?" There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the issue, and no attempt to make things right. The granola bowl was okay, but nothing memorable. The almond toast was also disappointing, with large chunks of sea salt that made it overwhelmingly salty. Overall, First Watch felt overpriced for the quality we received. We had high expectations given its reputation, but the food and service both fell short. If you're looking for a truly enjoyable breakfast experience in Las Vegas, I'd recommend trying Cafe Duval, Broken Yolk Cafe, Truffles N Bacon Cafe, or CraftKitchen instead. We have been wanting to try this new breakfast spot since they opened, but every time we drove by, the wait looked too long. We recently discovered their "wait in line" feature on the app, and it made the experience so easy! The app estimated a 10-20 minute wait, and by the time we arrived about 15 minutes later, we were taken straight to our table. From the hostess to the wait staff, everyone was incredibly friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. We ordered the Traditional Breakfast and the Tri-Fecta Breakfast, and we were shocked by the size of the pancake -- huge! Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. One of the little touches we really appreciated was having a carafe of coffee and water right on the table so we could refill as needed without constantly needing to flag down staff. I have now been here three times because my daughter really likes it. I think the place is just OK and HOME fries are decent. I think the prices are a little bit high. They also put these two coffee mugs on the table and they don't tell you that you get charged for it until you get your bill which is not a big deal but they should tell you beforehand so you think they're just on there and that you can have a cup of coffee, but that's not the case. I do think Service has improved since the first time I was there the first time I was there. The workers were very rushed and kind of snippy but the last time that I went, they were actually kind of nice. It was rush hour for lunch and they seemed either inefficient or under staff in getting names on a checklist, seating people and serving people. The couple in front of us were angry at their long wait. There was only one person handling the check in and taking guests to their seats. A suggestion use an automated system along with face to face check in for a seamless process like other brunch places in the valley. The check out system you can pay by phone or head to the front. It was unfortunate, they don't have credit card mobile handlers so you have a plethora of options. The front is too congested with guests for billing and seating at least for now. Honestly I would go somewhere else for better service and average breakfast. The patio is a great option with heaters and beautiful mountain views in the distance. Since it is new and very popular, the wait is usually around 45 minutes or more. They do a good job keeping you updated with text messages on your wait status. There are about 10 bar seats available, which is a nice option if you want to avoid a long wait. My friends and I ordered the tri fecta, the power wrap with fruit, and the avocado toast. Everything was delicious, and the million dollar bacon is a must. They offer a few iced coffee options along with regular coffee, and you can request oat milk. I also appreciated that they leave the coffee carafe on the table. She made sure to keep checking in on drinks and if anything was needed, which feels like such a lost cause at most places anymore. Next off was the food. The quality, size and price was great. Everything was delicious and cooked just right. Autumn made sure to ask on how we liked our bacon (which was a huge bonus to us), the poached eggs were also cooked perfectly. People entering the restaurant have to walk right through the middle of the game. Not a big deal if the people playing are respectful. The service was excellent. The food was great. Catching up on old times with a friend who chose this spot for breakfast. Nice open and airy restaurant. We got there around 9:45 am so early and didn't have to wait long. I ordered one of the breakfast hash bowls that comes with two eggs, potatoes, avocado, cheese and bacon. I substituted the bacon and asked for turkey links instead. We stumbled upon a very unique restaurant front that resembled the same characteristics as our favorite ocean area food spots in California. Being locals we are always in that area and it encompasses one of the busiest streets in the southeast side of the vegas valley. We were greeted from the front door by a hostess ready to take our names down on the iPad. It being open for less than two weeks we understood the chaotic atmosphere like every restaurant at its beginning stages We ordered the infamous bacon as a starter and boy it was met with a great mixture of sweetness and peppery goodness to start our morning breakfast. The chickinchimaga had a great buttery toasted crust with a good amount of stripped dark meat chicken along with their specific hollindaise sauce that completed the tangy, cheesy, yet very savory experience. The upgraded million dollar potatoes of a mix of cheesy bacon good ness was the perfect match. My only gripe was there was just too much onions for my taste on the burrito. The chillaquilles was perfect with the toasty tortilla chips and barbacoa. Meat was full of flavor and had enough protein to complete the meal. I've been watching this place being built for the last 9 months, and was super excited to see it open. So I didn't want to miss an opportunity to go have breakfast. Super easy to find on Eastern avenue, it's right next to the Starbucks. Very modern yet warm and inviting exterior. They have a gorgeous waiting area that looks like somebody's backyard in a very high-end house. And if the weight is too long, they have cornhole for you to play. I did not get to do that as I was seated immediately. Inside the place is again as warm and cozy as the exterior, well-appointed decorations, and plenty of table, Booth, and bar seating. Staff is super friendly. Brianna was my server, and she was awesome. Very friendly. Very nice and very helpful. I had the traditional breakfast, which was scrambled eggs, potatoes, couple pieces of bacon, and toast. Toast. Make sure you upgrade to the million dollar bacon, which gives you two extra pieces of this perfectly seasoned and drizzled with maple syrup delight! Delight! The other hot tip is upgrade your potatoes to the million dollar potatoes which includes chopped up pieces of the million dollar bacon, and this amazing parmesan sauce that is just astounding. Of course I had to do my ultimate test, which is the glass of milk with breakfast. I got to tell you first watch nailed it with flying colors. We checked in at 11:01 for a party of five. I completely understand that Sunday brunch comes with a wait, that is expected. What was frustrating was the lack of communication and the inconsistency in how seating was handled. We were never given an initial wait time. Around 11:20, a couple walked in and talked to the host, then a server came out, spoke with the host holding the tablet and said he would take them to his section. They were seated even though they were not on the list, effectively bypassing two guys who had already been waiting. From a guest perspective, that did not feel fair. At 11:27, I went up to ask how much longer the wait would be and was told about 20 more minutes. I asked if the wait would be shorter if we were willing to sit outside, and he said yes. I told him we were open to whatever became available first. Despite that, we were still seated outside at 11:53, well over the additional 20 minutes quoted. To add to the confusion, another party of five who checked in around 11:30 was seated at 11:45 before us. I was later told that they had put their name on the list before arriving. The restaurant does not take reservations, but you are allowed to add your name to the waitlist ahead of time before even getting there. That is essentially a reservation. Other restaurants like Magic Noodle and China Mama, even with 45 minute to over an hour waits, only allow you to join the list once you physically arrive, which keeps it consistent and fair for everyone. Allowing early list placement without clearly explaining how it works creates confusion and uneven expectations. Once seated, service continued to feel inconsistent. Our server Alex was very nice, but when my nephew asked if his steak for the steak and eggs could be cooked medium rare, he was told it only comes as is and was directed to the photo on the seasonal menu. We were initially given two coffee mugs even though there were three adults at the table, so we had to ask for a third. We also never received any refills on our drinks. Most of our food arrived around 12:17, but my nephew's steak and eggs did not come out with the rest of the meals. At 12:25, Alex came out, scanned the table, and pointed out that were still missing the steak and eggs. I also had to remind her about the water we had requested earlier. When the steak and eggs finally arrived, the steak and potatoes were cold, while the omelette on top was warm. The price point itself was reasonable and not the issue. The food overall was okay. However, the experience felt disorganized from start to finish. Today was my third visit to First Watch. We got there early, so the restaurant was only half full. We were greeted by our server. Sofia, who had a big smile for us. Today, we tried something different than the past two times. We began with the Trifecta, which comes with two eggs, choice of multi-grain pancake or Belgian waffle, and choice of bacon, smoked ham, apple sausage patties, or pork sausage links. We opted for the waffle and sausage links. My wife ordered an additional egg as we were sharing the meal. The waffle was delicious, light, with just a small amount of crisp on the outside. It was topped with mixed berry compote and cinnamon sugar. We also received some warm syrup. Sausage was excellent, and the links were good size. My only issue were my over easy eggs. They were cold, and when I say cold, they were not even a bit warm. My wife's single egg was hot and fresh. Sofia continued to check on us , and we were pleased with her service. read more
