I have been a few times now, and the regulars are warm and welcoming for the most part. Sure, there's the quiet bar hugger that just stares here and there, but overall it has that familiar "Cheers" feel to it--that's a good thing for the young people reading this and have no idea who Coach, Sam, Norm, Cliff and Woody are. I'm not a people or a crowd person--wife is. So she did the heavy lifting of getting me "in" and I admit that but they're all great folks. If you're at the bar, you aren't hurting for attention. The ladies that are behind the bar (at least it's always been ladies when I'm there, maybe there are some dudes?) are on top of it, super sweet, and you never have to flag them down for another drink. Try the food! I've had a few things here, and I'll be honest with you, I expect a bar that has this feel to have microwaved pizza and chicken tendies. No, they have a full kitchen and so far everything I've had out of it has been legit and delicious. Mushroom burger was big, juicy, and delicious. Fries are good sized, fried crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and seasoned well. You can also get homemade chips, but I haven't tried yet. Caesar salad is good sized--get the chicken, and blackened. Really good. Fried pickles and zucchini are good too, as is the onion rings according to the wife. I forget what else I've tried here, but I haven't been disappointed. They may not have all the mixers to make every drink out there, and I think someone else mentioned they didn't have tap beer (which also surprises me, but oddly enough, I haven't noticed). So I can't confirm nor deny that one. But if you're looking for a place that has a good attitude, good atmosphere (it is dark and smokey, but I'm not a fan of smokey air and this place doesn't get to me, they have a new industrial air filter that does pretty well), and good food with good folks behind the bar, and maybe want to earn the right to be a regular, this is not a bad place to do it. We each out in $100 and i asked for a menu... he gave me a wet, sticky menu... when I ask for a napkin to clean it up, he should have taken the nasty menus from me and given me new ones. 20 minutes later, he never asked me what I wanted to eat. He completely ignored us and faced all of his regulars. As a former gaming bartender, i know it is important to greet all new customers in a fashion that welcomes them. You dont know who your next whale is... your bitter, jaded bartender alienated 2 of them.

I signed up for a player's card but no great freebies right away. Dillion was the one who signed me up for my card, he was nice. Alyssa was the bartender who took care of my friend's & I. I really liked her. She was friendly, engaged in conversation with us & was quick to wait on us & bring us our drinks. I played some video poker but didn't win anything. Bathrooms are single, male and female and they're strict on boys using the boys & girls using the girls per a sign they have hung up....lol There is one pool table & a few tall table tops you can hang out at. It does seem more of a dive bar with a younger crowd, like 20 year olds. My friend's & I were prob the oldest ones on the bar side.....lol I love the outdoor décor, so cute!!

We got a complimentary glass of sparkling wine at the entrance before taking the elevator up to the bar. The bar is elegant and service is unmatched. Our bartender, Connor, made sure to go through the menu and even suggested a cocktail that wasn't listed but turned out amazing, the Musa. We tried the Ana de Armas and Batanga as well and both were delicious. We ended the night with a complimentary small dessert. It was great! Will be coming back for sure.

They have a bar area, a front area with a few tables, and a few tables outside for patio seating. All of the servers and bartenders are on top of it while providing great service and make great suggestions when you're undecided on what to drink or eat. On my last visit, I ordered the What She's Having cocktail, which was balanced and refreshing. My go to is the Strawberry Fields which is sweeter. We also ordered the bacon wrapped dates and Napa panini. The dates are one of my favorite dishes here. The panini was really good and I enjoyed the chicken and pesto sauce. It was served with potato chips. I'll continue to keep The Local on my rotation of bars and meeting spots.

One of my traditions is to play my game of choice Caveman Keno and enjoy a cold one or possibly two halfway in the work week. It makes sense because this about the halfway point between my previous and future outdoor adventure where I live life on my time. Dylan's Gaming Lounge has been one of the well suited go to spot. It is near my home and in a shopping center where I take care of some errands. Dylan's Gaming Lounge is a medium size bar/lounge decorated with some neat stuff. The walls display rock and roll memorbelia including a CCR guitar and Elvis Presley "Aloha From Hawaii" memorbelia. There is a pool table, an Internet juke box, and in the center stands the bar. The bar is square shaped with TV monitors above playing professional sports from golf to Major League baseball. I consider Dylan's a classic rock bar. There is rock n roll memorbelia displayed throughout the room. The Point FM, the terrestrial radio station that plays the greatest hard rock hits of all time is the soundtrack. Billy Idol, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, and the Who's Who of Classic Rock grab the attention of the room. Rocking tunes makes gambling in moderation fun. Now, the downside to using the Point FM as the soundtrack instead of satellite radio are all the commercials. The selling point of Dylan's Gaming Lounge that I need to yelp about is that the cold ones are inexpensive. It is my understanding that Happy Hour is til 6 PM, however, the friendly woman serving drinks said, "It's always Happy Hour here." At any rate I have only paid $2 for a Bud draft. Another selling point is that this isn't one of those bars where they only sell bottles of beer. I appreciate this because in my opinion draft beer is the equivalent of what a fountain drink is to cola. Dylan's Gaming is a fun place to gamble when the Point is not playing commercials. Their gaming machines have kept a $5 bill (I'm not a high roller) playing quarter plays in action for at least an hour. There has been one woman running the show at Dylan's Gaming Lounge. Just like the classic rock hits playing on the Point, she is upbeat and fast. Unlike the Point, she doesn't seem to have the advantage of a break. A shout out to the hardworking bartender! Dylan's Gaming Lounge is an enjoyable spot to slow down and enjoy a cold one. Two dollars for a draft beer in an upbeat bar/lounge playing classic rock and professional sports with modern gaming machines, is a business that I yelp positively about.

It appeared they had 2 waitresses to cover the entire footprint outside of the bar and our small group had waited 15 minutes before I finally decided to get up from the tall table against the wall that we were at and go to the bar to order drinks and asked the bartender if there was a server for the area we were in, she said yes and I asked if she would send them over so we can order food. Another 10 minutes later, someone comes over and takes our food order...and that's after my husband was told by a waitress in the area that we weren't in her section so she couldn't help us....but then later comes over to us after we have our food to check on us and see if we need anything....uhm what?!? All this while the manager is laughing it up with this couple at the bar...while facing us. Made eye contact with him several times and the way he was friendly with these other customers was not the same service he was giving to anyone else. He saw us without drinks, saw us with menus and no one approaching to take our order and still did not move from the behind the bar, but was also seen helping with drinks for everyone seated at the bar....when there were already 2 bartenders there. The food was okay, but I was already so frustrated with the lack of service and the service we did get was severely lacking....I just wanted to finish eating and leave. A friend brought up going back to watch one of the VGK playoff games since it's close to where we live, but I just could not be convinced to go and deal with such poor customer service again. It's a bummer because they have a lot of nice seating surrounding the bar...but the service seems to be focused on people sitting at the bar. Oh well! Plenty of other bars in the area!

We sat and had a few cocktails and played a little and it was a good vibe the bartender (dude) I can't remember his name but he was super happy and checked on us often. He was great 5 stars for just him!!! It seemed like a lot of the people who go there already know him and comfortable. He was great. We will be back soon!
