Overall, the food was very good and the service once we were seated was also very good. My main issue was with the check-in and waitlist process. The restaurant was extremely busy, and it seemed like there were two different ways to check in--one in person and another online through Yelp. After checking in, we waited about 25 minutes before even making it to the front of the line, with only a party of about 10 ahead of us. Since we were only a party of two, we figured we would be fairly easy to seat. We checked with the hostess twice to make sure our name was on the waitlist. During that time, we watched several small parties of three or fewer get seated, including some we had seen check in after us. After about 15 more minutes standing near the host desk and seeing a third small party seated ahead of us, I asked to speak with a manager. Savanna, the manager, was clearly very busy and actively helping throughout the restaurant, but she still took the time to get us seated, listen to what happened, look into the issue, and then come back to update us. That extra follow-up wasn't necessary for me personally, but it showed a lot of professionalism and attention to customer service. She also mentioned using the situation as a "teaching moment," which I appreciated. My only real critique is that the restaurant may need a better way to merge the in-person and Yelp check-in systems so the waitlist feels consistent and fair. There was probably also an opportunity for the hostess to catch the issue after we checked with her multiple times. Despite the rough start, the food was excellent, the table service was great, and Savanna handled the situation very professionally. I would definitely give Broken Yolk another visit. read more

Went to grab some breakfast with a neighbor. And was greeted by Grams. She was so pleasant and a ton of fun. Our waitress was Kiya. She was awesome. Great service and the food was a 10. I've been to broken yoke on cip when I lived back in Southern California, and was pleased to see one down the street from my apartment in Las Vegas so I decided to go check them out. I really like the open airy environment inside the restaurant. Plenty of seating options, plus they have a patio out back with Mr. Fans so in case it gets hot it can cool it down a little bit. I got seated right away, got a cup of coffee to check out the menu. Place was pretty full, which means that there are a lot of people that like it. The hostess that sat me said that this place has a lot of regular customers, so that is a good sign because people return to this place again and again which I was glad to hear. My server came up and introduced herself, and she was wonderful. Kaya is really on her game. Just chatty enough and friendly and has a great sense of humor which made my breakfast experience more enjoyable. I ordered pancakes with a side of eggs and bacon, and a milk with breakfast. The food did not take long to get out to me and was perfectly cooked. The bacon was crispy. The pancakes were very fluffy but man are they huge! I could only eat about 3/4 of them before I was tapping out. Bottom line? I will definitely be going back to this broken yolk again as is so close to my house and the food is top-notch. You should definitely go check it out.. read more

I came here with my best gf for some breakfast and it was such a positive experience. Lacy was our server and her prompt, attentive, and personable service etiquette was deeply appreciated! We enjoyed the food and the casual ambiance. Definitely the best Broken Yolk experience I have had since I have been here and their other locations a handful of times and never had great service till this last week. Stellar service definitely stood out! read more

Date of visit: June 13, 2026 A friend gave me a gift card for Broken Yolk for my birthday in advance of my move to Las Vegas and I was excited to try this place out with my mom and we had a great meal. Host staff were fun and friendly and got us to a table right away--the parking lot was so full I thought for sure we were going to have a wait but that thankfully was not the case. Kelly was our server and she was also very friendly but she was missing for a bit when we were ready to get things wrapped up and get on the road to the Hoover Dam. But the food was very good: I went with the Strawberry Banana Smoothie and Blueberry Short Stack of pancakes. Both were excellent, with the pancakes massive (how is this a short stack?!) and ended up being a couple meals for me. Say what you want about large portions, but pancakes actually heat up fairly well and I enjoy making a meal stretch out a bit. The smoothie had just the right amount of sweetness to it, which I find rare and call a win! It seemed like a lot of the servers were on a first name basis with the customers, and I aspire to have that kind of rapport with the staff some day! read more

After an early morning stop we came here for the first time and loved it. I started off requesting a spizzzy Bloody Mary and it was perfect and even came with a slice of bacon like they do in all of San Luis Obispo that I haven't seen in years. Our waitress Kelly was completely on point and gave the kind of customer service you hope to get at a well run breakfast house, super friendly and on time with refills. I went with the chicken fried steak and eggs that were massive and really good. We also ordered a more traditional breakfast plate that was cooked to order. About 3/4 of the way through our meal it had dawned on my fiancé that our waitress had gone to school with her son in ...wait for it...elementary school some roughly 15 years earlier. Next time she came around we asked and lo and behold it was....small world theory in effect. So let's review... great reviews on Yelp already, clean restaurant, well-made drinks, great food, incredibly great customer service and friendly faces from the past. You can't go wrong coming here. We will definitely be back sooner than later. read more

This place is a always a solid yes on service and quality! My hubby had the gluten free cinnamon pancakes. Kelly was our server this time and she was right there with refills and checking in on us...you know the just right balance. We thought it would be quiet on a Monday but it was just as hopping as a weekend. Patio weather will be here soon...ok maybe not that soon...but their breezy enclosed patio will be great for those cool morning brunches. Highly recommend if in the Henderson area. read more

After my son's 8th grade promotion, he chose BYC for brunch. Our current favorite brunch place. Always great service and atmosphere. I tried the no name omelette, extra crispy hashbrowns and sourdough toast. It was ok, next time I'm sticking with meat lovers omelette. The no name had a lot of bacon and it was kinda soggy. I still enjoyed it until the end. My wife always the avocado toast. It's her favorite dish here. My son got a chicken wrap with fries and I didn't get a pic. But he inhaled it. We shared the lemon ricotta pancakes and took the rest home. We were stuffed. Thank you BYC. I forgot our servers name but she was friendly and kind. read more

came in with a reservation and thank god i did because it was absolutely packed! at first they were going to seat us outside, but with the vegas heat we were accommodated to an indoor table after waiting an additional 15 minutes. the food was okay, i mean it was super busy, so i can't really complain. nothing was outstanding, and there was a bit of a communication issue with the kitchen and server as we ordered 2 items with steaks and they told us they only had 1 left, then said they had enough, and after our food came out realized they actually didn't have enough and we had to order a different dish. other than that, everything was fine. there was plenty of seating, but wow it was still packed. casual place though read more

****Shhhhh local hack..... look at the bar area - open seating and you get time with the amazing Brie!!! Lovely greetings always and with over 10 yrs of experience she makes bartending actually look easy. I know it is not but she is very efficient and makes killer drinks! We had a mimosa and a flight Bloody Mary's! The food, as always, was amazing! Normally, I need to travel across Henderson to get great Machaca. But to be honest, this machaca is heaven! Not too spicy but fresh and the perfect ratio of meat to eggs and veggies! My gf had a o toast with smoked salmon and there was nothing left! Wait till you see the pics! So my body was craving a specific thing today...cholesterol. Broken Yolk caters to that need in a variety of ways with a massive menu hitting all cuisines. On deck was a Chicken Fried Steak, 4 over easy eggs, and butter soaked sourdough toast, all the things a body needs. Couple that with a brunch-time vodka OJ and I'm set! My sidekick went with a healthier option of tomato soup, fruits/greens salad, and turkey BLT sandwich. All was great with food, no issues as it came out fast and hot. The restaurant, like with many of the other Broken Yolk locations around town was packed. This was at 1pm so I can't imagine the wait at say 9am or 10am. We found open seats at the bar so we were pleased and the service was warm and super fast. No complaints with the ambiance here as it has clean restrooms, a clean inside, and sports on at the bar. The parking here is another issue as it's tight since it shares the lot with several restaurants including fast food joints. All in all a winner at pretty cheap prices for the portions you receive. read more

We took our 21+ son here because they were offering a Star Wars mimosa float for SW Day weekend (Friday through Monday) and he's a crazy big fan. He's a spectrum kid and SW is one of his Big 3. They had the movies playing on their TV's and the staff were probably 50% in SW tees or other things. He ordered Tiki Toast, I got Ranchero Skillet, and wife got classic Avo Toast. Floats came first, we downed the blueberry and half the green apple before the food came. My meal was great. I enjoyed their sauce, the chorizo was good not super greasy like some tend to be. Eggs cooked just right (over medium, no runny whites, still runny yolk). Small portion compared to a lot of breakfast places, but the flavor was good. He loved his Tiki Toast. Sweet for sure, but that's completely expected. I enjoyed the small bite I had, but def a dessert for me, not breakfast. Wife said her toast was kind of bland and small. She ended up getting an avo toast next door at Better Buzz in addition and liked it more. I didn't try hers. The flight: The Blueberry was his favorite--I got more of a blue raspberry vibe. Flavor was good. Sweet, but not overpowering, though the syrup used did have a bitter end that enhanced the champaign's bitter end so it was extra bitter to me on the finish. Green Apple--I think it was green apple, it had a lime slice as a garnish. Tasted like green apple. It was a good flavor, not too sweet, not bitter, just right in the middle. It was my favorite. Strawberry--I think was both of our least favorite (well, tied with Raspberry). It just barely had much flavor, it was like a sweet champaign with a fruity smell. If I was blindfolded and given this drink, I wouldn't have been able to identify strawberry. Raspberry--Wow. Like, wow, this was sweet af. I can add a single pump of raspberry syrup to my 40oz water to add a sweetness to it. I think this had 2 pumps in just a few ounces. I had to add water to make it drinkable and even then it was very, very sweet. I'm assuming this was to get the purple color. It was pucker face/shudder sweet. Was it fun? Heck yeah. Lori, I believe was our waitress. She was great. Super fun, showed us pictures of her in her rebel pilot helmet, complimented our SW swag and just gave the impression of happy to be there. Gave great suggestions as well. Overall, I was pleased. It was a fun experience, good food for me and the boy, and a fun themed flight. The price almost dropped another star, but the fun made up for it. The floats were 17 bucks, by the way. Not crazy, but on the higher end. Same with the food--smaller portions for same or slightly higher pricing. read more

I genuinely love this place for breakfast or brunch! It has a lot of great options, but I usually go for their chicken and waffle. Today I tried the chicken and waffle Benedict with cinnacakes. Both were delicious! I think I prefer the original chicken and waffles plate, because it will come with an entire Belgian waffle and three chicken tenders. Their matcha latte is very Americanized and sweet, but not bad. The indoor and outdoor seating is nice, and our waiter, Randy, was exceptional. Just be aware this place is pretty busy on the weekends, so make a reservation if you can. I think the prices are pretty fair for a nice breakfast spot, and it's one of my go-to's when people want to eat out! read more

I had a wonderful experience at the broken yolk Café today. I usually only go to the summerlin location because that's close to where I live, however, I was dropping somebody off at Southpoint Casino and decided to venture off and try the Henderson location. I called to see if they can do the just egg at home fries as a side instead of getting their entire vegan spicy sausage meal. I was looking for something small but filling. I was greeted immediately and the place was very busy. My food came out promptly and my server. Randy was very kind, prompt and attentive. I truly believe part of the meal is the experience you have with the staff and Randy made it very enjoyable. Viewing the room around me, I can see smiles on the other customers's faces and satisfaction with the meals. Lots of laughs this morning! They have a great menu for all dietary needs, fresh ingredients and the place is very clean and tidy. It is nice to be able to eat out when you have dietary restrictions. It's been a long time since I've had an opportunity to enjoy brunch, so I decided to try a new spot. Broken Yolk Cafe has a few locations, with this one being located in a busy complex right off of Saint Rose Parkway. There is a decent amount of parking, but I'm sure when all of the businesses are in peak hours it can get a bit crammed. Pro tip, join their waitlist through Yelp ahead of time to avoid a lengthy wait. Once you arrive, just check in with the hostess to secure your spot. I dined with my friend at 11:30am, but only had to wait about 15 minutes since I joined the waitlist ahead of time. There is a decent amount of seating indoors with a screened in patio for overflow. They have bad seating as well if you don't mind not having a proper table. The noise level is a buzz, but you can still carry a conversation. I started with a pomegranate mimosa, which was delicious and definitely had a little kick (aka not all juice). We ordered our entrees, which were up in a very reasonable amount of time, especially for how busy they were. Although I was super tempted to try one of the varieties of French toast, given the holiday indulgences, I opted for something a little lighter this time. I had the Two Eggs Plus with scrambled eggs, homefries and sourdough toast. While there was nothing groundbreaking about the dish, everything was really good. The portion was large enough, in conjunction with my mimosa, to have leftovers. Everything was reasonably priced, especially for Vegas standards. There were a variety of diners, from families and friends to solo diners, so definitely a spot for everyone to enjoy a nice brunch. Our waiter was friendly and attentive as well. I look forward to returning and trying the French toast next time! read more

My husband, my dad, and I go to the Broken Yolk on St. Rose almost every week, and we've visited other locations many times. On our last four visits, including two to this location, we asked to substitute a side of oatmeal for toast and had no problem. This time, the manager came to our table and asked who had authorized the substitution at the other store, whether it had happened at her location, and which server here had allowed it without asking her. The questions felt accusatory, especially when we were simply asking for something we'd been given before. I told her I didn't want anyone to get in trouble. She said no one would, but then immediately went over and spoke to the server who had helped us on a previous visit, while we were still there. I understand if the substitution isn't allowed, and we would have accepted that. The way it was handled made us feel uncomfortable at a place we visit regularly. read more

If there's one meal I never skip, it's breakfast. Tried this place for the first time (at this location) after playing pickleball across the street. It was a Sat morning around 10am and a full house with plenty of seating. Fortunately there wasn't a line, and we were greeted and seated right away (yesss!). Their menu was straight forward with plenty to choose from. After burning off some much needed calories, my eyes went straight to the "healthier" section. Went with their Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast, which I devoured. The fresh dill, capers, and red onions were the perfect toppers! The rest of the gang were equally satisfied with their selections (see the pics) and enjoyed them just as much! CHEERS and happy eating til next time... read more

I was really disappointed with my breakfast here. I ordered the Greek omelette, and when it arrived there was a large amount of black liquid seeping out of it. I'm assuming it came from the olives, but it looked incredibly unappetizing. I couldn't bring myself to eat it, so I asked for a replacement. I ordered the avocado toast instead, but unfortunately that wasn't any better. The bread wasn't actually toasted, the avocado looked and tasted more like a guacamole spread than fresh avocado, the poached eggs were undercooked, and there was an excessive amount of everything bagel seasoning that completely overwhelmed the dish. I appreciate that the staff replaced my first meal, but it was disappointing to have two dishes in a row miss the mark. Overall, the quality and execution of the food did not meet my expectations, especially for a breakfast restaurant. read more

We always tend to visit this broke yolk location when visiting las vegas. Why do we drive so far from the strip for this spot? Well, the service is outstanding (compared to the other locations we've tried), the food is always hot and delicious and its close to costco, so we tend to fill up the gas tank on our way back to the strip! It does get pretty busy, but we are early risers and tend to get there around 8/9ish. I always suggest getting on the wait list! The ambiance is nice, restaurant is clean and the seating is comfy. They do have alot of seating plus outdoor seating is available! Keep in mind, there are alot of broken yolk locations in the area but we just love the friendly staff and service here! We brought my son here to celebrate his 13th birthday with a special breakfast/brunch, and it was the perfect choice for the occasion. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was spotless, inviting, and beautifully decorated. It immediately felt warm and welcoming! My son is a huge crepe fan, so that was an easy decision for him. They came out perfectly prepared, generously loaded with Nutella and fresh bananas. He turned it into a combo with eggs and bacon, and let's just say he left completely stuffed and happy. When the waiter overheard that it was his birthday, he thoughtfully added a candle to the crepes. They don't do the traditional birthday song, but the simple gesture made him feel celebrated and special on his big day. I loved being able to fully customize my egg white omelet and pair it with a fresh fruit cup. Everything tasted fresh! My boyfriend and I couldn't resist ordering single pancakes to satisfy our sweet tooth, and they were perfect, fluffy with just the right texture. He also ordered the biscuits and gravy and cleaned his plate, which says it all. The food was delicious, the plates came out hot, and the service was attentive without being overbearing.
