This review has been LONG overdue. I visit this Urbane location almost on a weekly basis. As an avid Steak Chimchurri Sandwich consumer this Salmon Bowl is my new favorite. The service and food is consistent. I never have a bad meal. The restaurant is always fairly empty and clean but I think it's because the service is so quick. 10/10 Focaccia Bread is to die for and I usually add the house mustard to my sandwiches. I'm a regular customer at this Stephanie and Sunset Street location, and despite being surrounded by so many solid competitors offering similar products, the restaurant is usually bustling with activity. In my opinion, the warm customer service and fish offerings at Urbane Cafe truly set them apart from the rest, and I often visit specifically for their mouthwatering fish bowls. Unfortunately they were short staffed the day we went so we were directed to personless kiosk to place our order, which I'm not a huge fan of. You then take a seat and wait for the food. Took about 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready during the lunch hour. Sandwiches by default come with a small side salad with balsamic dressing. I had a few questions about ordering at the kiosk. The main question - my guest wanted their dressing on the side, but that wasn't an option for the dressing. I could do it while ordering an extra dressing, but I didn't need an extra. I just needed the original on the side. The team member was able to do that for me. First timer came in to give this new place a try. The restaurant is minimalist and clean and the staff was nice and welcoming . I had a bogo coupon from the mail so I got the pesto sun-dried tomato chicken sandwich, the chimichurri steak sandwich as well as just the plain focaccia with balsamic vinegar. Both sandwiches were delicious and had great flavor. The only downside was my expectation that the focaccia would have a nice crisp outside texture to go along with the inner softness. The flavor of the focaccia was great and I even enjoyed just dipping the plain bread into the vinaigrette but because of the softness of the bread throughout, the bottom of the sandwiches became soggy from the drive home in the container.
