Yelp! review #4 of 2026 Favorite Noodle Spot Delivers Again - Even on a Crazy Busy New Year's Saturday! My wife was craving noodles to kick off the new year, and since this is hands-down our favorite place for hand-pulled noodles, there was zero debate. We decided to grab a quick early dinner on the first Saturday of the month (January 3, 2026). Walked in around 4:30 PM thinking we'd beat the dinner rush -- we were literally the second group to arrive, followed quickly by a third. By the time we sat down at our usual table and turned around, there was a long line out the door! I've never seen it this packed, but hey, great food draws a crowd. Mood is mellow with asian pop artists covering American tracks. Service was still solid despite the chaos -- friendly, efficient, and welcoming as always. We branched out and tried a couple new things: * Dumplings: First time ordering them, and they were spot-on. Perfect char on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Really good! * Chinese burger: The filling was excellent (flavorful, well-seasoned meat), but the bread was a bit too tough/chewy for my taste. If they sold the meat solo as an appetizer, I'd order it in a heartbeat. Then onto our tried-and-true favorites: * Two shrimp chow mein * Two shrimp fried rice * One non-spicy fish soup (for our son) * One fish soup with extra fish (for my wife) * Spicy brisket noodle soup with extra beef (for me) Everything was delicious as expected -- those hand-pulled noodles are unbeatable. Decent prices for such a niche spot, generous portions, and consistently great service make this our go-to. Even on an unexpectedly slammed Saturday, they handled the crowd like pros. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic hand-pulled noodles -- we'll be back soon!

Great little cafe style seating. Open concept kitchen allows you to see the chefs pull the noodles and cook. Tastes fresh and eggrolls were a standout. Highly recommend for a casual lunch for dinner. Mom and pop feel to the dining area.

Craving noodles, I decided to try this spot known for its spicy hand-pulled noodles in beef or pork broth. The restaurant is tucked inside a plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is stylish and comfortable, with a mix of booths and tables that make it a nice space to dine in. I ordered the seafood pancake and spicy wontons to start. The pancake was crisp but lacked flavor and needed soy sauce for a boost in flavor. The wontons had good texture and seasoning, though I expected it to be spicier. For the main dish, I had the hand-pulled noodles in beef broth. Unfortunately, the noodles didn't taste fresh, and the broth was bland--even after adding chili oil from the table. The portion of beef and bok choy was also underwhelming. Service, however, was attentive; our server checked on us several times. Overall, this place works if you're nearby and craving noodles, but for a richer, more flavorful bowl, I'd make the trip to Chinatown.

These noodles are pretty good. Not the best-tasting I've ever had, but definitely good and at this price point it's a great deal. The spice level seems a little low, so don't be afraid to ask for it spicy if you like spicy food. The interior is casual and comfortable. They were quick to bring out the food, but I had to waive someone down to request a drink refill. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but I'll round up to 5. Worth a visit if you haven't been before.

Keep coming back for the won ton soup. Plenty of filling won tons & the soup is delicious. Perfect for a chilly or any time of day or night. Service is always amazing.

This is the best new restaurant I've been to. From seattle and we have lots of noodle houses pho, but this place was so yummy! Recommend sesame seed balls and szechuan beef brisket noodle!

I am obsessed with their hot and sour fish noodle (soup). I had it here for the first time a few days ago and I keep thinking about it. It's actually spicy (though it could be spicier) and delicious! Guess I'll have to go back soon.

This our go to handmade noodle shop! Its ideal location is close to us & would frequent it even when the triple digit temperature is going on. We came on a Sunday after our church service. We're always welcomed with a smile as soon as we enter & seated immediately. We usually order the shank or brisket noodles depending on what my taste buds dictates. It's always a delight & an experience watching the noodles made & handled adeptly & cut with precision. The handmade noodles submerged in the piping hot broth is so comforting especially on that cold winter day. The scent & aroma of the peppers & spices engages your olfactory senses & whets your appetite that each slurp indulges & satisfies every cells of your taste buds. The chewiness of the noodles & the fresh flavor is so noticeable with every bite. What can I say, it's a culinary gustatory delight engaging that bowl for me. In between you pop a piece of spicy wanton trying to envelop with as much chili oil you can to give you that umami taste of the combination. My wife opted for the chicken chowmein which is good too. The price here is unbeatable. One of the few places where you can eat without burning your pocket. Strongly recommended.

I'm so glad my daughter wanted to try this place. We went several times. One we took our cousins there she was visiting with her husband, and the other occasions was to celebrate a friend birthday party. We all had a wonderful time. The staff are amazing and very helpful with the menu. The ambience was clean and very pleasant.

Been here a few times and I always enjoy the food. Employees are super nice. Small place. You can watch the chefs make the noodles by hand. Prices are decent! Not that spicy so ask for extra spicy if that's what you like

I see that the owner is questioning my review. Saying that I was not at his restaurant. He says the plate in my picture is not a plate from the restaurant. That's because it was a to go order buddy. Maybe he was confused because I said off to a bad start with the scallion pancakes. I meant at my house, not at the restaurant. That is the plate at my house. I didn't eat at the restaurant, hence I wouldn't have any of your branded plates in my picture. I have attached a pic from my bank account showing that it most definitely was your KungFu Noodle! I had to lower him to one star because he implied that I was lying. I know exactly where I was and that I was at your restaurant. You're right next to Panera. Two doors down you have a claw arcade and three doors down or so is Nothing Bunt Cakes. I standby everything in my review because it is true. Somebody definitely dropped the ball on this order.

Love this place so happy to have this in Henderson. Haven't been in a while but went recently and don't know why I waited so long to come back. Everything we got was amazing, only downside I would say is the onion pancakes were kind of bland we didn't really taste any onion flavor. Everything else was perfect.

Their beef noodle soup is more representative of what you would typically find all over China and Taiwan. You can choose your noodle type. I opted for knife cut noodles and it was cooked on the firmer side which I prefer since it gives the noodles a great bite and texture. The soup was good and the brisket was very tender. Currently at $11.99, it's a fantastic value!

I think it might even be up there as one of my new favorite ramen spots in town, alongside Hashi in Chinatown and Kyuramen in Anthem! The best part is, with how close this restaurant is to my place, I don't have to make nearly as long of a drive if I want ramen. Umai Ramen is located in the Target shopping complex on Sunset and Stephanie, tucked away in the line of shops between Hobby Lobby and Ross. I first spotted this place when I went to the nearby H&R Block to get my taxes done earlier in the year, but I never really had an excuse to come out here until I had the ramen craving strike, and hard -- hence why I decided to bite the bullet and check the place out. One of the things that struck me immediately was their offerings -- of course, they have ramen of all types as you might guess from the name. But they also have different styles of ramen that you don't typically find anywhere, like the more elusive mazemen no-broth ramen, udon noodles, and even tsukemen-style ramen! To say nothing of some of the appetizers -- again, while they have the typical offerings of other noodle houses in town, they also have a selection of items that you really can't find anywhere else. They have multiple types of ramen with unusual toppings, such as their truffle ramen with mushrooms and steak (I need to try that next time I'm here), but I went pretty safe with their black garlic ramen, considered a signature item on their menu, and added an extra egg to it. If I were honest, I didn't need it because the ramen was so full of delicious toppings that I couldn't put my chopsticks or spoon down! Their appetizers are also a must -- I ordered their orange salmon and mango scallops, and I would highly recommend both of those as well. Between bites, the servers would check in on me, refill my water, and provide additional napkins as needed, as well. Needless to say, I'm hooked -- and already I'm thinking of the next time I go here! What will I try next? If you're in the area, give Umai Ramen a try. You just might come back for more.
