The food was yummy! I got the karaage mayo bowl. All my friends got ramen and edamame and they liked everything. Very flavorful. The staff were friendly.

Still our favorite spot to eat ramen. Today the place was absolutely packed! A special shout out to our waitress. She was absolutely amazing even though it was crazy busy. They still have upbeat Japanese music playing which just puts you in a good mood. The food is still delicious and came out quickly. When we want good ramen, this is always our first choice.

The rice curry was authentic tasting Japanese curry, but it lacked having beef cubes in the curry. It would also be nice if there were different levels of mild to extra hot. Nonetheless, the curry was a 5 out of 5. I got a taste of the tonkotsu broth and it was good, but could have been slightly hotter. The Matcha Parfait was uniquely different, but good. Aesthetically, it looks good in the glass it's served in, but I would have preferred it in a bowl, so I could more easily mix the ingredients. Our server, Shion, was friendly, helpful in recommendations and information, and attentive in her work. I would definitely be back again to try different items in their menu.

Veggie Ramen (again! since so good)

Just a quick update to my prior review: this place is still SOOO good! I found myself in the neighborhood again and intended to try a different ramen this time, but I remembered the veggie being so good, I had to go for it again! It did not disappoint. Rich, delicious broth, lots of toppings, succulent kale noodles. Wow. Nice efficient service and cute shop.

Before dropping off my friend at her sister house I wanted to eat something so we seen this Ramen Ebisu still open around 10pm. Located at the corner of Green Valley Pkwy and E. Sunset Rd . Actually it's located in the same shopping center and Trader Joe's Hawaii's favorite. My friend order their Miso Ramen she said it was ok . I had their Curry w / rice and Karaage chicken on top . We also ordered a side gyoza. I thought their Curry was a little different than I'm use to . It was not sweet Japanese curry it had a little sour taste to it could be mustard ? . Service was ok although I think she was new because she forgot to give us our utensils. The food was just average although I'm Grateful they were still open although while we were there the waitress turn the signage to Close . So I think they close at 10:30pm

Utterly delightful Saki ramen takoyaki Great service Good friends. The specials are to be watched.

I'd say pretty mid, nothing that will make you come back. Soup was good but just average, as locals we've tried better spots than this. I would say it's pretty pricey as well. Also do note most soups are pork based.

This is a hidden gem on the east side of the valley! I went there on a Wednesday lunch time had about 6 tables One sweet girl working, the food is delicious! The service was excellent! The ambiance is very Japanese like, very quiet and enjoyable. I literally have not a single thing to say about this place except I will keep going back. The only negative is it'll be difficult to lose weight LOL I had a very delicious meal! 有難うございます

We heard some good things about Ramen Ebisu, a new ramen shop, that recently replaced another ramen shop. Never went to the old place, but we decided to try Ebisu. Ebisu is located in the same strip mall as Trader Joe's, to the right, at the corner. Walking in, the place is nicely decorated, very clean, and cozy. We went kind of late, so it was not very busy with 2 other tables with diners. Looking at the menu, they mostly have the usual ramen shop staples, not complaining at all, because we just love good ramen. Our server kindly greeted us, very cute girl, and super sweet! Absolutely no complaints about our service. Ordered chicken karaage, 2 miso ramen, and a Shio Tonkatsu ramen. The karaage arrived, and at first, I was skeptical, looking a little dark brown. I was thinking that it was going to be dry, but nope, it was crisp on the outside, and super juicy inside! Very good! The ramen arrived! We all commented amongst ourselves, that this may be the best ramen we've had since we moved to Henderson, 4 years ago. We also go to Japan, and I really don't think anywhere can beat Japan ramen, but this was right up there! My tonkatsu shio broth was rich and flavorful! Lots of thinly sliced chashu, bamboo shoots, ramen egg, and thin noodles, which was cooked perfectly al dente! This week be our go-to Ramen spot and encourage those looking for a very good bowl of hot, tasty, Japan quality ramen, go check out Ramen Ebisu!

This place has great customer service, supplying us with any of our needs. The music here is also very catchy! The food was of course delicious food

    2. Spicy Tonkotsu + corn
    Rox A.

Tried out this ramen spot recently and will be back! I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The broth was so rich and flavorful, and all the toppings were fresh and well-balanced. I added corn, and the bowl itself came with spicy ground meat, green onion, kikurage, and pork chashu. I also swapped the thin noodles for thick noodles, and my girlfriend and I both agreed that the thicker noodles were better if you enjoy a chewier bite! My girlfriend got the Black Garlic Tonkotsu and she enjoyed it. The quality of the food for the price was excellent. If I had to make one small critique, it would be that the pork chashu was a little on the thin side. Still tasty, just would've loved a thicker cut. All in all, this place is a great spot. Bonus points for the speed and the service!

I think it might even be up there as one of my new favorite ramen spots in town, alongside Hashi in Chinatown and Kyuramen in Anthem! The best part is, with how close this restaurant is to my place, I don't have to make nearly as long of a drive if I want ramen. Umai Ramen is located in the Target shopping complex on Sunset and Stephanie, tucked away in the line of shops between Hobby Lobby and Ross. I first spotted this place when I went to the nearby H&R Block to get my taxes done earlier in the year, but I never really had an excuse to come out here until I had the ramen craving strike, and hard -- hence why I decided to bite the bullet and check the place out. One of the things that struck me immediately was their offerings -- of course, they have ramen of all types as you might guess from the name. But they also have different styles of ramen that you don't typically find anywhere, like the more elusive mazemen no-broth ramen, udon noodles, and even tsukemen-style ramen! To say nothing of some of the appetizers -- again, while they have the typical offerings of other noodle houses in town, they also have a selection of items that you really can't find anywhere else. They have multiple types of ramen with unusual toppings, such as their truffle ramen with mushrooms and steak (I need to try that next time I'm here), but I went pretty safe with their black garlic ramen, considered a signature item on their menu, and added an extra egg to it. If I were honest, I didn't need it because the ramen was so full of delicious toppings that I couldn't put my chopsticks or spoon down! Their appetizers are also a must -- I ordered their orange salmon and mango scallops, and I would highly recommend both of those as well. Between bites, the servers would check in on me, refill my water, and provide additional napkins as needed, as well. Needless to say, I'm hooked -- and already I'm thinking of the next time I go here! What will I try next? If you're in the area, give Umai Ramen a try. You just might come back for more.

This leads me to believe the broth was made in minutes, not hours like the preparation of the best ramen broths are made in. Temperature 4/5 The temperature of the broth was almost perfect. It could have been a 5, if it weren't for the abnormally thinly sliced pork. Condiments lacking: 2/5 (no shoga-red ginger, seaweed, or shichimi togarashi) Service: Friendly and minimal 3/5 Overall: Are there better ramen restaurants to choose from? Most definitely! Should you avoid this ramen restaurant? Not necessarily. It wasn't terrible, and the sliced pork couldn't have been much better. Will I be returning customer? Probably not.

I had some favorite ramen shops in Philly that I still think are stellar, but the one thing they were missing was this minced pork. I will add that **** to EVERY kind of ramen bowl! I must have been a cat in a past life because I am obsessed with bonito fish flakes and you can never put too many of those on top. The only thing I struggle with is the fact that I feel guilty eating octopus, so I don't order takoyaki as often as I used to. The service is friendly and the beer is cold. The ambience is relatively low lighting, cozy izakaya vibe, with modern touches in the decor. The icing on the cake is the face that they have melon cream soda. Ramen. Minced Pork. Beer. Melon soda. The Ultimate Ramen, despite its name, was underwhelming -- mediocre at best, lacking the depth and richness you'd expect from a bowl with that kind of billing. The sushi rolls were equally disappointing. Both the California Roll and the Philly Roll suffered from bland, flavorless rice -- the foundation of any good sushi. The sweetness and tanginess that should come through in well-seasoned sushi rice were completely absent. The Philly Roll was especially let down by the cream cheese, which had virtually no taste and added nothing to the roll. Even the wasabi lacked any real heat or pungency, which honestly surprised me the most. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was working the floor entirely on her own and still managed to be attentive and pleasant throughout. That kind of dedication deserves recognition. Overall, the kitchen needs to revisit its seasoning and flavor profiles across the board. With some attention to the basics properly seasoned rice, quality ingredients, and bold condiments, this place could be so much better. For now, it's hard to recommend.

We dropped in for a late dinner at 8PM, driving there directly from Zion National Park after hiking Angel's Landing. It was still surprisingly busy inside and we even had to wait a bit for a table! The waitress first brought over some cucumber lemon water, then took our order. The food only took about 10 minutes to arrive. Spicy Beef Noodle, Knife Shaved ($15.97) - Whew that broth. It's like cough city on the first sip, that chili and sichuan peppercorn mixture really gets into the throat. It then transitions into a robustly beefy, salty, and even slightly sweet flavor. It's so beefy it's almost gamey in taste. The heat is actually very balanced, although after sipping on it throughout the meal, I started getting pretty sweaty even with the AC on blast in the building. The beef is great. it's fatty and has connective silverskin still attached; it's like the best part of the tendinous shank. Other than that there's the perfectly cooked, bouncy knife shaved noodles, and a couple of leaves of crunchy blanched bok choy. (5/5) Beef Pancake ($9.75) - I thought these would be dry like shao bing (I have never had 餡餅 before) but construction took us totally by surprised. The beef pancakes are almost like a flatter, beef version of sheng jian bao, complete with juicy beef aspic. The wrapper is chewy and thinner than a typical SJB, but works well here; it's not thin enough to cause holes that leak juice out. The meatball inside is beefy and flavorful, albeit not as tender as a typical pork meatball. The taste of both the juice and beef are very allium forward and full of umami. (5/5) Dan Dan Noodle, Hand Pulled Noodle ($13.97) - The topping is a cold meat and preserved veggie mixture, minced finely until very tender and soft. It's combined with plenty of sesame paste and peanuts, giving an overwhelming nuttiness. The noodles, in this case the hand pulled one, work exceptionally well, being perfectly cooked and staying the same bouncy consistency throughout the meal. My experience with the hand pulled noodles in broth at the other Shang location was that the noodles got too soft only ten or fifteen minutes sitting in the broth. I would definitely get hand pulled only with dry dishes. On the bottom of this dish is a really spicy sauce, both in heat and mala numbness. It's very fragrant and lemony even through there's not much red color. The dish as a whole is far more spicy overall than the Spicy Beef Noodle. (5/5) The portions Shang Artisan Noodle serves are huge. We hiked Angels Landing before eating dinner here and we were only able to finish about half our meal. Shang Artisan Noodle serves some really great noodle dishes. There's a reason we keep coming back for more! Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for women, one for men
