Our favorite Thai restaurant was closed for a few days so we went around the corner to our stand by Thai restaurant. Husband specifically asked if they had Chinese broccoli and was told yes. His order came out with regular broccoli. This time he sent it back. My dish had too much salt in it. The servers were very nice and polite. But it took 15 minutes to get our drinks. You know what?! Just skip it, it's really bland. The restaurant is a small restaurant, a bit rundown. Pay off the restaurant is crowded with cloth racks as they are seeking them. Hmmmmm..... The biggest let down is the taste of the food. The sauce for the beef salad is just weird, loaded with sugar, no fresh herbs or lime juice to add to the flavor. Anyway, I went in and ordered the Thai coffee, which was delicious. I ordered pad Thai with beef with spicy level 4 (scale is 0 to 10). I had my first bite and I was immediately grateful I had chosen to come here. Large helping and very tasty. Just be advised that if you have a typical "American" palate, spicy level 4 will make your nose run. I loved it but then I am quite used to spicy food. So you might want to lean on the conservative side when choosing spicy level. I loved the atmosphere and decorations. Bbq pork fried rice - this fried rice is cooked to perfection and has a subtle sweet taste to it. I usually do a level 2 of spice to have the best of both savory and sweet. The plate itself is $18 but it's worth every dollar. It can also be easily shared with another person as well. 10/10 Chicken pad Thai - Also the best pad Thai in town! They don't add too much fish sauce and it tastes amazing. Especially with the chicken! again around the same price but can also be shared with someone! 10/10 Thai Tea - Now I'm not too sure why people get Thai else where like at boba shops. Foods came out within 6-8 minutes of ordering. Ladies were chatting & busy inside the kitchen. It's a hot spot for hotel takeouts. Not many customers sitting inside during first opening hour. Spicy stir fried tofu green beans with chicken was just right. Rice were generous per person. Ground beef with bamboo shoots and veggies was good. Panang curry shrimp was a great choice. Not too spicy here for medium to mild tastes. Sauces were all delicious and appetizing. We haven't ate Thai food in years. Added a coconut drink and Thai iced tea. Decent prices. It's the service that really provides good experience here. Restrooms were clean too. If you're in Las Vegas/Henderson area near airport or hotels on a very hot 111 degrees F day, this is worth the stop since it's not crowded and beverages are kept very cold and good. Lots of free parking in the lot since people don't usually get up early to walk around on hot weather days.
