I loved this place it was very cozy in side.service was great and very friendly I loved that the food was not oily . The prices are spot on for the portions

Beef salad, the sauce is not fresh, nor is the beef

You know what?! Just skip it, it's really bland. The restaurant is a small restaurant, a bit rundown. Pay off the restaurant is crowded with cloth racks as they are seeking them. Hmmmmm..... The biggest let down is the taste of the food. The sauce for the beef salad is just weird, loaded with sugar, no fresh herbs or lime juice to add to the flavor. The mint chicken dish we ordered is just "sad" and bland....urggghhh... I'm only sure one thing: not coming back!

Thai Style Fried Rice with shrimp

The taste was good. I asked for spice level 5 for my Thai fried rice with shrimp. I like my shrimp a little more medium but the heat from the rice helps get them there. There were several other patrons dining in the quaint plaza space. The service was swift and perfect for a quick lunch.

I've been to this spot 2 times in one week and both visits were very nice. Customer service A+...Food A+. I'll definitely be back since it's good and close to my home.

I saw this place on you up and stopped in because of the reviews. As soon as I walked in the host walked over to me and welcome to me and handed me a menu. I ordered tea, pad Thai, tom yum, and combo fried rice. Everything was so delicious perfectly seasoned and cooked I could taste all the tiny little details and it was so great I will come back here for sure and the prices were great too roughly about 15 bucks each.

Don't underestimate this place. I hesitated as I stood outside the front door, frantically checking the reviews (mostly good but not all were positive, so I was anxious). Anyway, I went in and ordered the Thai coffee, which was delicious. I ordered pad Thai with beef with spicy level 4 (scale is 0 to 10). I had my first bite and I was immediately grateful I had chosen to come here. Large helping and very tasty. Just be advised that if you have a typical "American" palate, spicy level 4 will make your nose run. I loved it but then I am quite used to spicy food. So you might want to lean on the conservative side when choosing spicy level. I loved the atmosphere and decorations. I felt like I was visiting an aunt or something and that I was eating in her living room. The tissue boxes are really elegant! The service was super fast.

If you're in the Green Valley area and craving some Thai food, make sure to give Thai Chili a try. It's a small Thai restaurant located in the Green Valley Town and Country Plaza. We've gone here numerous times to order take out, but this time we wanted to dine in. Service was great, we were the only ones dining it, but they sure had heavy foot traffic of people coming in and out picking up their orders. We ordered: calamari, shrimp pad Thai, pad kra pow, and the Thai crab fried rice. The pad kra pow comes with a side of steamed rice, but opted for sticky rice instead. Food was great as always!

Glad we found this gem, delicious food and friendly service! The restaurant had a tiny bit of a funky smell upon entering but it became unnoticeable after a few minutes haha. The Pad Thai was really tasty and huge portion! The noodles were a little on the stickier side but no complaints other than that. I like that they offer spice level for the pad Thai, on a scale of 1-10. I got 4 and thought it was very mild haha wish I got spicier but I was scared, ya know how Thai spicy hits different! Overall, would come back for the pad Thai and to try other dishes

Hold onto your hat for some serious hole in the wall amazing Thai food. We had the pad Thai barbecue pork, fried rice, beef jerky, and the fried shrimp. Everything was seriously amazing. I was impressed. I am a Thai food junkie gotta come. The service was impeccable. The guy that helped us was so sweet and so attentive.

My dad and I decided to eat here on Thanksgiving. The gentleman working greeted us and sat us right away. The food was great and the restaurant was clean. My dad had the pineapple fried rice while I had the pad thai. Both dishes were hot, flavorful and we got the right level of spice. We'll definitely be coming back!

The food is excellent and authentic. I had Pad See Ew. They have a variety of spicy sauces thet were also very tasty. The Thai tea is awesome. Small and very clean restaurant. Customer service is prompt. I loved seeing the cook wearing a hair net! I'll definitely be back!

I love this place! The orange chicken is my favorite. I love spice so always order mine at 10. Tonight, mine was delicious, as always. It's a crispy chicken with a little bit of thinly sliced onions and bell peppers. The rice that comes with the chicken is a soft rice that's nice and sticky. The employees here are so nice! The employees are friendly and always willing to help you out with accommodations. I love how cozy the restaurant is. I will definitely continue coming back.

Panang curry with tofu and vegetable stir-fry
    Elizabeth R.

Let me start by admitting that I do NOT like most casual Thai food. I usually skip this cuisine entirely if I have other options. But this place really impressed me! WHAT WE ORDERED: * Panang curry w/ tofu ($15.99) * Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables w/ Chicken ($13.99) PROS: * Flavor - Woo, they pack a lot of flavor into their dishes. When the stir fry arrived, I was unimpressed by the appearance. Then I took a bite and reversed course immediately. Delicious dish! * Tender meat - I HATE when the meat is overcooked in Thai dishes because it simmers and continues cooking in the hot curries. Didn't have that issue here, as both the tofu and chicken were cooked to perfection. * Nice portion sizes - My husband and I were able to eat our two entrees over 4 separate meals. CONS: * Appearance - Make no mistake, this place has a total whole-in-the-wall appearance, complete with large, corny marketing photos on the windows and grandma's tapestries on the tables. But what they lack in aesthetic, they make up for in quality and deliciousness.

Ask the Community - Thai Chili

Does the pineapple fried rice have curry powder?

    Yes

Is there a vegan menu? Thank you in advance 😁

Not at the moment. You can also always check with your server. Soups, pad thai, and some appetizers are without any meat including the ingredients. Your best bet is to ask them when you're placing a order. Cheers

But yes, I was across the street grabbing some replenishables for my rig because I live on the road-- sadly. But on the bright side, I get to be everywhere and taste restaurants across the country, so not too bad. And today while delivering a load to Amazon LAS1 in Henderson, I decided to have lunch here at Block 9 Thai Street Eats. I like the layout. Ngl. If this restaurant opened in Steamboat Springs or say maybe Granby Colorado, the locals would probably storm in day and night. A blend of murals reminding you of that dream world created by Maurice Sendak in the book Where the Wild Things Are, and traditional Thai wood colors and pottery decorate the restaurant. I like the hues, the blues complementing the warm earth tones with dim yellow lighting fixtures. Ok, so the ambiance gets a 5/5. The food? This place is an order first then sit type of joint. I really and no idea what to get. Again the heat probably is restricting my appetite, but I went with a Chicken Penang, a Thai Hibiscus Lemonade and a Chicken Satay Appetizer. NGL, in regards to the chicken Satay, due to its overly dry and lack of moistureness, I think Alot of people will score better at a cheap Chinese buffet serving chicken skewers. 'because there's really no difference, I had one skewer and hesitated finishing the second. Maybe convert to chicken Thigh meat? Something with more fat built into it. The Penang gets a pass, but was nothing on the level of "I have to finish it right now," and probably because of the heat, I enjoyed the Hibiscus tea the most. For anyone that wants to experience really good chicken that maintains its moisture and just somehow ended up in Los Angeles, go check out Gravitea Food Truck in San Gabriel CA. And order their Taiwanese Fried Chicken. They use Chicken Breast by the way, but they're able to retain all the juice and moisture in the chicken. So where was I, loved the tea, ate the Penang, want to skip the Satay. Overall I'm giving this place a 4/5. Overall vibes, sounds, food presentation, and service is above average. Probably need to come at night some time in the future for the bar scene.

The Thai food is authentic and the family that is running it is wonderful and very kind. The crying tiger was very tender and the two sauces that came with it were well seasoned and distinctive. One sauce was more bright and citrus forward while the other sauce has a nice spicy kick and was more savory. It did not find with rice, but I would devour the whole thing with the sauce. The pad Thai with chicken was a great portion and it was not sweet. Thank goodness. The yellow curry with chicken was balanced with spice and seasoning. It came with a bowl of rice. It was excellent. Spice levels rang from 1 to 5 and the 2 was perfect for me. The sushi was decent. They definitely have specials and they make it fresh. It gives an option of someone did not want Thai dishes. It's decorated well inside with traditional decor and was clean inside. The service was excellent. Very efficient and helpful staff. I loved that they offered to bag up our leftovers as I can be clumsy with containers. Pricing was fair. The portions were big enough for seconds and the quality was on point. I would definitely go back to try the other Thai dishes.
