Ordered delivery through Uber Eats so I've never been to this actually restaurant. My first time. Very quick service & delivery. Som Tom w/ Sticky Rice 5/5 flavorful, perfect medium spice, fresh papaya & green beans. Lovely sauce to soak the Sticky Rice in. Super delicious! I love spicy so medium maybe too much for some. Honestly I ate all of it & half of the sticky rice in 10m. Perfect portion ratio as well. Looking forward to dining in the restaurant!
Came by to experience Las Vegas restaurant week. We ordered 1 set of their restaurant week special (o hamachi, tom kha goong, steak and truffle fries, and mango sticky rice), wing zaap, panang crispy prawns, and a shrimp pad see ew. Our personal faves were the panang, pad see ew, and mango sticky rice. The panang fried both the prawns and their shells! Keep that in mind if you're not a shell eater as this limits the amount that the dish actually feeds. Pad see ew was seasoned well and came with a generous amount of shrimp that I found myself wanting more noodles! Mango sticky rice was stickier than expected and reminded me of the Vietnamese dessert (che), but who can ever not like this dessert. The portions were smaller than the usual family-style portions of most Thai places. Service was great and parking was ample.
I've always been a fan of the Chinatown location, so while I was in the Henderson area, I decided to check this one out--and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere feels very familiar, with the same stylish décor, dramatic wine wall, and unique light fixtures that give the restaurant its modern, upscale feel. Most importantly, the food was just as consistent as the original location. I was especially excited to see they offer a happy hour menu. We ordered the Garlic Green Beans, Lobster Yum Takrai, and the Dok Lamaii specialty cocktail, which was refreshing and beautifully balanced. From the regular menu, we also ordered the Crab Fried Rice and Mango Crispy Catfish--both dishes arrived beautifully presented and full of texture, color, and bold ingredients that made each plate stand out. Service throughout the evening was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. If you're in the Henderson area and craving elevated Thai cuisine in a stylish setting, this spot is definitely worth a visit.
Gave this place a shot because we saw they had crispy duck on the menu and personally I like this place better than lotus of Siam! The vibes here feel more casual in the sense of the wait staff is friendlier and feels more like a mom and pop shop, vs at lotus it feels more corporatey (not sure if this makes sense) and they try and push you out asap to get more people in. This location has plenty of parking. We came on a Saturday night and were seated right away. Ordered: Tom kha 3/5 - nothing crazy just decent soup, wasn't as creamy as id like tbh, felt more like a straight tom yum. Crispy cat fish on mango salad 3/5 - good to share, some pieces a bit too fatty from the catfish Pad see ew upgraded to crispy prawns 5/5, decent amount of crispy prawns, fried to perfection. Just like lotus not much difference. Lobster noodles 5/5, definitely get again! A more like beer batter on the lobster. Good amount of lobster and personally i like these noodles better! Crispy duck panang 5/5, duck was crispy and meat was tender, not dry at all. Green beans 4/5 - a little sweet and garlic. The sauce on these were good. Some green beans were a tad bit under cooked. Maybe fry it for 20-30 more seconds imo.

The pretty wine wall greets with a cool aesthetic upon entering the restaurant. It's a great place for a post meal group pic as well. The decor and ambiance is a contemporary high end vibe. At night, when the lights get dim you can definitely go date night mode. Service has always been on point. The servers are quick to keep the glasses full. The kitchen gets the dishes out to the table to keep your evening moving. I've sampled many dishes but these are my main go to's: Pad see ew - Fave noodle dish. Panang crispy duck - The sauce goes with everything. gai him chicken Crispy beef Tom Yung goon soup Garlic green beans Sticky Mango Rice Overall, this is one of the most consistently very good Thai restaurants I visit. I'll be back for more when I'm the mood for more. Cheers!
This is the perfect spot for a date night Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the service was so warm and welcoming. We have pretty high standards for Thai food since we eat it often, and this place definitely met them. The decor and overall vibe made us feel like we were transported to another country. We'll definitely be coming back for another date night!
Came in on Father's Day with my husband for lunch after visiting the M Resort. Parking was pretty empty and once we walked inside, it was just as empty. Only 1-2 other families here. We were seated immediately but then nothing for almost 10 min! I was thinking like it's so empty in here it shouldn't take this long for someone to come over. Finally we were asked if we wanted drinks or appetizers. She apologized for the wait and thanked us for being patient so that made up for the wait. We proceeded to order Thai beer and the lychee martini. We also ordered the fried pork belly bites and the wing zap. The drinks and food came very quick and was fresh and hot! The fried pork belly was sooooo good! I was expecting it to be super fatty but it had a great meat to fat ratio and the fact it was fried made it so much better! The green sauce that accompanied it didn't taste like much tho. The wing zap was also good but I actually liked the pork belly better. For our entrees we had the prawns with curry, Basil fried rice with steak and drunken noodle with the crispy duck. Again food came fast and hot! The prawns with curry was outstanding as was the basil fried rice with steak. The steak was sooooo tender and the rice was super flavorful. One of my favorite Thai dishes is drunken noodles so I was excited to dig in to this! The noodles with the sauce that it was bathing in was a flavor explosion but I did not like the fried duck on top. I should've went with steak. Also I think for the price of this dish, the portion was pretty small, I guess you're paying for the duck but I would've preferred more of the noodles. I would still get it again but not with the duck. Our server's name was Porjai and she later explained she was there by herself (other than the chef) She was an amazing server and I felt bad for being mentally impatient in the beginning. We tipped her more than 20%! The place remained dead throughout our visit, I hope business picks up for them because I need them to still be around the next time we come back!
I've only given a few 5 star ratings in all my years on yelp. This place mostly deserves it! I was most impressed with the happy hour (well, after the delicious food & cocktail). Daily from 2-5 is an amazing selection of discounted menu items. I had the mun pu fried rice and the dream of passion crafted cocktail, at happy hour. The fried rice was perfect, after I added some hot sauce. It was a good sized portion too. The cocktail was delicious! Presentation was a 10. I had planned on eating on the patio but no one was out there. Next time!
When I get the craving for upscale Thai, I think of Lamaii, but I usually end up at the Chinatown location and completely forget that there is a Henderson one. When the craving hit this time, I did remember the Henderson location and decided to make a reservation and stop in. We came on a Sunday and it was steady but not busy. The decor is cute but classy, just like the Chinatown location. The table spacing is great, not too close to your neighbors. Service was good. Our server was quick and slightly impatient but super nice and friendly. There was a problem with our order, the printer did not print in the kitchen, so our food was never made. They made it up to us by giving us some green beans to share while we waited for our food. I'm glad they did because oh those beans are delicious and I'd order that again. The food and cocktails were just as good as the food and cocktails at their other location. I love khao soi and feel like not enough restaurants make it. I do wish it were a little more traditional, but I do love their version. Definitely coming back and enjoying this place and appreciating that it is closer to my house than Chinatown.
Our server recommended the Panang crispy duck and I'm thankful we listened. It was hella good! Crispy, tasty and perfect. I'd come back for this in a heartbeat. Best dish of the meal. Crab fried rice was also good. Plenty of crab flavor. Wouldn't mind getting this again..Although, I would I recommend plain rice for the curries to not ruin the crab flavor in the crab fried rice. Kao soi was great and wouldn't mind getting it again. Salted egg ice cream was my least favorite of the meal. Unfortunately this didn't have a strong enough salted egg flavor. I had to fish for it and at first bite, forgot what we ordered. It tasted more like vanilla. Service was friendly and ambiance is really nice. This is not your average hole in the wall Thai restaurant. I'll be back!
Gathered up some of the girlies for last minute dinner and drinks. Ambience of this place is so cute. Definitely see myself sitting at the bar in the near future for a cocktail and some apps. We liked everything that we had except the beef tartar. All 3 of us agreed that it wasn't too appealing. Had a weird grayish color to it and we just kinda picked around it, my fave was the green beans. We opted more for appetizers so can't speak on the entree dishes. Service was prompt and friendly.

We decided to check out Lamaii while in the area. It is located off a very busy St Rose and Coronado Center. The restaurant was literally empty up entering. We were greeted and seated right away. Food Whenever I try a new Thai restaurant, I always go with Pad Thai. It's an old faithful and easy to compare against other places. My wife order the Pad Se Aew. The Pad Thai was good. The bean sprouts were fresh and the heat was balanced. 4/5 Service Being that we were the only people in the restaurant, I expect it to be fast, and it was. Within 15 minutes, our food was out and ready to eat. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. 5/5 Ambiance The restaurant had some nice decor, including a nice wine wall. There is a giant stuffed bear that seemed odd, but not off putting. The bar was designed well and they had World Cup games on. 4/5 Overall, it was a nice lunch experience. Their prices are a little higher than other similar restaurants, but I think if you come for dinner, it might be a higher end experience. Give Lamaii a try. read more

I stopped by to grab some food to go after spending the afternoon visiting someone in the hospital. There was only nine worker in the front of the house which caused a bit of a wait. She was very kind and doing her best. First, the positives. The drink and view were great. I ordered the flowers in the clouds or something like that. The soup was also delicious and almost perfect. Then only negative there was the woody stalks of lemongrass that were impossible to chew. The chicken wings were dry and there was very little flavor. The sticky rice was overpriced and had many hardened grains around the edges. I had looked forward to visiting this restaurant because I heard good things. My visit was disappointing and I won't be going back. read more

The food here is always on point. We love the crab fried rice and the steak dish. There's also this pork belly crisp dish that was also amazing. The place was well decorated in authentic tie decor. And the service here is always great. Attached are some of the pictures of our dishes. read more

Cute restaurant located in the heart of Green valley ! On St Rose and Coronado ! This food is delicious !!! They have a great wine selection ! Beautiful restaurant with outdoor patio seating ! Service is very friendly ! Wonderful place to enjoy a delicious Thai meal !!! read more

I had high hopes for this spot. It's gorgeous on the inside and out. There's outdoor seating, along with a fire feature (see pic). It boasts a wide selection of wine. See video. The aesthetic is moody and romantic. There's even a piano. Service was warm and friendly. We were tended to before a large party, which they disclosed prior to us ordering. That was a plus. Sounds great so far, right? However, the rating is because of the food - least fave to most fave. Thai tea: 0/10. It was bitter and lacked any sort of Thai tea flavor. Kao Sol (thin egg noodles with braised beef): 2/10. It had a grainy texture and the flavor was off-putting. Crab fried rice: 6/10. I wish it had more flavor and the rice was crispier. Wing Zaap (spicy fried chicken wings): 7/10. Great texture; although, it wasn't spicy at all. Duck Panaang: 7/10. Good flavor but I wish the duck was crispier. Pork belly Ga Prow: 8/10. The pork belly was tasty, had great texture & the veggies (green bell pepper and green beans were crunchy). Chicken Pad Thai: 9/10. Slightly saucy but overall the flavor was there. Basil eggplant: 10/10. My personal fave of all dishes. We ordered several saucy dishes. It would have been better to offer white rice to help soak those up. Last, but not least, the bathroom needed much attention. One would think that the entire place is appealing that the bathroom would match. Nothing will compare to Arawan (so sad that it's closed permanently). Still on the hunt for a comparable Thai place. read more

The hubs and I had an early Christmas Eve dinner at Lamaii not knowing what to expect only having read the reviews. I chose Lamaii because they have Kao Soi, my favorite dish that is rare to see on a menu. The food is amazing. We usually have leftovers but not this time, we ate everything. The bartender was our waitress as well. She is so very attentive. As the place got busier more staff arrived. The ambiance is low light, golds, a big white piano and a stuffed animal bear. It was very lovely decorated in Christmas theme. Now onto the food. We ordered, in order, 1. Loui Siam: Fresh rice wrapped roll with shrimp instead of pork: It comes cut in 6 pieces instead of whole as normally served in traditional Thai restaurants. 2. Chicken Satay salad: It is served cut up in a salad with peanut sauce. It is very tasty although I am used to getting it on a stick. 3. Pad See Aew w/shrimp: this is my husband's new favorite Thai dish. 4. Kao Soi w/chicken (not steak): They knew the assignment on this dish! It was perfect. I highly recommend going to Lamaii, it is a culinary experience. read more
Food is always great here and today was no different. It really makes me sad this place isn't packed more as they really do have amazing food. Very fresh and flavorful. Staff is great, attentive, friendly but allow you the time and space to enjoy your food. They have some good happy hour specials and portion sizes are generous. Food is pricey outside of happy hour but I do taste the quality so to me, it's worth it. It also looked like they added lunch specials. I'm not sure if that's the same happy hour or in addition to. Happy hour is in the afternoon- 2pm-5pm and then 9p-close. If you're looking for tasty Thai food, this is the place! read more
Alas, I wasn't over the moon. Lamaii is a local favorite by the owner of the former locals' favorite Chada Thai and Wine. This Henderson spot opened about 2.5 years ago, but I've been slacking on trying them. Fortunately, my friend suggested Thai food for dinner tonight, and this is the closest interesting Thai spot to us. Even for a secondary location, I was surprised to the dining room one-third full at best at 8:30-ish on a Friday night. I'm pretty sure other popular Thai spots are usually busier at that time. Anyway, we were seated immediately and even allowed to choose one of the open tables in the section by the kitchen doors. They offered water immediately then gave us time to decide on what to order, and that we did. The Mango Crispy Catfish ($19.00) sounded familiar, and I later realized that I'd had a similar version before. It was at Lamoon, the sadly now-closed sister restaurant by the brother of Lamaii's owner. I had no critiques about that rendition, but I did find an issue here in the catfish. It was crispy as advertised, and flaky inside, but it could've used a bit more seasoning to stand on its own. It did pair well enough with the bright salad/slaw including mango, other veggies, and aromatics, but I expected something closer to perfection. The mild spiciness level was fine, or even a bit light. The Duck Basil Fried Rice ($28.00) was my friend's order, and it didn't quite hit the spot either. While the duck came with crispy skin, there was a tradeoff in that the duck meat was less juicy and tender than you'd hope for. The rice was evenly sauced, but it was a bit heavy and necessitated some sort of drink to give the palate a break. There also wasn't quite enough cooked or fresh basil in the plate to perfume every bite, and I love Thai basil. And lastly, although I didn't mind, the dish was ordered as medium spicy and came out more like zero spicy. The Kao Soi ($22.00) is worth ordering if you don't mind another dish that leans heavy. The braised beef cubes were very tender and had a nutty, earthy quality, and the egg noodles actually came out al dente. The curry was rich, which was where I started missing the pickled mustard greens which are usually served alongside. The raw red onions did add some balance, but they didn't do enough. It came with a default spicy level of about 3 out of 10, which didn't really correlate with either the "mild" or "medium" dishes above. Yen Jai ($14.00): a cocktail. I was feeling celebratory after getting my 2025 Yelp Elite badge, so why not? The yuzu vodka and yuzu puree called out to me, and I got a lot of their flavor along with the ginger elements. This ended up being a citrusy, minty Moscow mule. In a great way (although not enough to supersede the food). This was the one thing that wasn't supposed to be spicy at all, by the way, and it wasn't. I liked Lamaii overall, but not as much as I recall enjoying Chada. In my book, Lamoon's closure ceded any claim that the Atcharawan family may have had to this town's Thai throne. That said, I may still come back if I want a guaranteed any-time seat at an easily accessible second-best Thai option. read more

I've been coming here for a couple years now and it's always excellent. From the food, customer service to the ambiance. I used to get the pad see ewe every time the first few times I came and then one night I decided to try something new so I tried the panang curry with the crispy duck and I fell in love. It's so perfect and the best panang curry I've ever had. The flavor is very rich and the crispy duck is so tender and perfectly cooked. I don't really have duck but it pairs very well with the panang curry. I also am a BIG fan of Yen Jal and almost always order the drink. The yuzu with the ginger and ginger beer reminds me of a Moscow mule. You can barely taste the alcohol. I've also tried the dream of passion and it's amazing as well. New favorite Thai spot just dropped and it's this place! Absolutely obsessed with this restaurant and how flavorful everything is. We started with the garlic greens beans which were packed with flavor and super juicy. The loui suan was also flavor packed and had the perfect blend of herbs and meat. Had a great experience at Llami. We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the Moo Tod Nom Pla with both being really good, but the Moo Tod Nom Pla sauce was exceptional and really stole the show. The ambiance was great too, with a quiet, woodsy feel that made it a relaxing place to dine with quick service. Definitely worth checking out. read more

The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and has a warm, welcoming ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a decent sized space. When I visited, the same person was the host, server, and bartender--he handled it all with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Super attentive despite juggling everything! The food was delicious, but the ceviche was next level--immaculate flavor and freshness. Definitely a must-try. The drinks were also amazing and reasonably priced. If you're looking for great Thai food, solid drinks, and a chill but beautiful setting, this place is worth checking out. read more
We secured a reservation for a Saturday night though on entering it did not appear to be needed. We have enjoyed multiple meals at each of Bank Atcharawan's previously owned restaurants in the past so we were expecting nothing less than a 4-5 Fork meal. We started off by sharing an order of basil eggplant that bordered on being enjoyable though not nearly as good as we have had elsewhere. My wife chose garlic herb crispy prawn in fresh herbs and garlic sauce while I cast my ballot for mango crispy catfish with chopped mango salad in a chili lime sauce. The catfish was billed as being a filet, but actually proved to be tiny nuggets of fish totally overwhelmed by their individual coatings. Meanwhile the shrimp were shell on with at least one being all shell, no meat. read more

I've dined at Lamaii countless times over the past few years, initially at their Chinatown location before this one opened. Generally, my experiences have been quite good. However, my last visit a little over a week ago was disappointing; both the portion size and quality didn't meet expectations. I decided to give the takeout another try today, and I regret that choice deeply. My girlfriend and I are now suffering from severe food poisoning. We ordered drunken noodles, and from the moment I opened the container, something felt off--it tasted like food from an entirely different restaurant. It's now 3:34 AM, and I'm struggling with an unbearable headache, trying to hold back nausea. This will be my last time ordering from Lamaii. Honestly, I was already tired of overlooking the dirty seating, and it's clear this place needs to improve. read more

The food was delicious. It was a nice clean, welcoming environment. We ordered a vegetable type, eggroll with mint in it, and then shared the Pad Thai. It was delicious and a huge portion with that wonderful savory sauce. They have an extensive wine selection as well. I recommend when in Henderson please try it. read more

I recently visited Lamaii in Henderson and had a great experience. What I liked: We had a large party of ~16 people for a birthday celebration and the staff was very attentive throughout our visit. They also provided complimentary ice cream for those who had birthdays, which was really kind of them. The food itself was great! The pad see ew had really good flavor, and the khao soi curry broth was very flavorful. This was my first time ordering khao soi with beef chunks and it was very tender. What could be improved: IMO, the food's expensive for the portion size, especially when compared to other local Thai restaurants, but otherwise, everything else was great! Overall, Lamaii is a place worth a visit. Would I return? Maybe, but the location is a bit far for me and I'd like to try other local Thai restaurants in the meantime. read more

Consistently good and great service. The Panang crispy duck and the drunken noodles with , I'll say it again crispy duck are simply delicious. I think about these dishes way more than I should.! Give it a try!! read more

Great atmosphere! Awesome wine arrangement at the entrance. Service was terrific and the food was absolutely amazing. The wife and I ordered the ribeye and weren't disappointed. Nicely cooked and paired with a delicious dipping sauce. Great place for a date night as the decor offers something more intimate and romantic. Definitely recommend. read more

Hi, do you have whiskey and whiskey based drinks?
They do have whiskey and whiskey based drinks. Their Old Fashioned happens to be excellent and is made with house made syrup.
Is there any entree that is gluten free here? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.
Most noodle dishes are gluten-free by nature being rice noodles. Always possible to swap out for rice noodle on an egg noodle dish like Kao Soi. Just let them know, and they can do gluten-free soy as well.
Do you have happy hour?
The have celebrated Wine Wednesday in the past, doing 25% - 50% off wine bottles before 6PM. Just ask them on Wednesday if you're ordering your bottle of wine before 6PM, they should be able to hook you up!
Vegetarian options??? I don't see tofu as an option in entrees.
Skip it they put fish sauce in everything go to thailcious instead
