This one hurts to write. Have you ever just known you were going to love a place before you've tried it? Well, that was my mindset before my Jayde experience. I live in Inspirada, so this is 5 minutes from my house & I already love Anthony's @ the M. But, Jayde was a disappointment, service & food alike. I'll start with the server, didn't catch his name, but a white, tall gentleman w/ dark hair was inattentive & seemed to be in a foul mood. We had an 8pm reservation & didn't get our appetizers until 8:45 & he had only stopped by once to take our drink & app order. By the time the main courses arrived, it was 9:30 & we asked for boxes. The food: loved the yellowtail sushi (i could nitpick the size of the sliced fish & the amount of rice & no wasabi between the fish & rice, but the fish was fresh). Pork ribs were extremely tough. Calamari flavors were great, but the calamari was barely chopped, I thought I was grabbing a piece to dip into the sauce (which was delicious) & the whole serving came off the plate b/c it was almost one big mollusk. Curry duck: I'll put this on me, maybe I didn't read the ingredients described on the menu, but I didn't expect so much fruit in the sauce, it was literally sweet when I was expecting a savory curry flavor. This was our first time here. And, I very much liked a Jayde Roll as a sushi opener. It contained lobster and crab, avocado, cucumber, tuna, spicy mayonnaise, and Eel Sauce. Shoyu Ramen Soup with crunchy Shrimp Tempura and toothsome noodles was hot and stomach warming. And Diane liked her entree of Honey Walnut Prawns. But I was not enamored with my entree of Tiger Shrimp with assorted vegetables. It was very spicy---in fact the most fiery Oyster Sauce I have ever had. Jayde @ 16 sits on the 16th floor at the M resort & casino. The view looking south to the Las Vegas strip is very nice and the restaurant itself is fairly appealing. No issues with the service, very nice and attentive and we came for a quick bite. We shared the Uni, Ikura and Unagi nigiri as well as a couple sushi rolls. All were pretty good although the pork in the potstickers was undercooked. Fortunately they removed that from the bill so a decent dinner. Love this spot! It's located inside the M on the 16th floor with such pretty decor and a cool faux fish tank on the back wall. The view of the Strip is amazing. My friends and I sat at the bar because there were 7 of us and they don't have a lot of larger tables. The drinks were so good. I had the Lychee Mai Tai and the Blue Yuzu Drop and both were delicious. We ordered the Jayde roll, Hawaiian roll, salmon sashimi, and crab fried rice. Everything was fresh and super tasty. Our server, Ben, was great! We went for Happy Hour and we had a dining credit. Happy hour is Sunday and Thursday, 2 for 1 select items. The California Roll was very good. It is $18 though which is really expensive for a California Roll! Thankfully I'm Happy Hour they are 2 for 1. The egg rolls were good. Potstickers were just alright. Chicken wings were awful. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for several months and finally got the opportunity to do so. I ordered the honey walnut prawns, house fried rice and a sushi roll. All the dishes were good not great and the prawns lacked flavor and were a bit under seasoned. Others in my party ordered the honey chicken and the dim sum (shrimp & pork shumai). The portion sizes were adequate and could be shared by all. The restaurant located within the M. Casino offers spectacular views of the valley and of hotels on the strip. Its name, Jayde @ 16, is appropriate, since, it's on the 16th floor. The restaurant is spacious and is configured in such a manner that exposes guests to amazing views of the valley from any seat. The servers did a great job working as a team and ensuring all our needs were met throughout the entire dining experience. Although, the food fell a bit short of my expectations, the ambience, coupled with the attentiveness of the wait staff warrants a second visit. Update to follow. read more

We came in with no reservation, which is truly appreciated, and the service was friendly and quick. However ... Food -5/10 Winner - crispy broccoli with yuzu ponzu amd lemon zest !!! *Pepper steak, looks amazing , but too salty and the meat is not tender. There is a weird aftertaste. *Oxtail soup, looks like full of flavor , and it is more a highlight of our meal. The meat is a little fattier than most. Crab fried ice is bland, so unfortunate. Jayde roll is okay , filled with sauce on top so a little much. The kali ribs unfortunately we had to return, it was chewy and undercooked. This is such a nice place inside, the only downfall is that it is very small and crammed. The food was good and tasty, but some of it felt like it was prepared earlier and brought to temp when ordered. The service was varied. I do wish they were more attentive. The food was tasty but didn't qualify for 5 out of 5 stars. The fish wasn't fresh like I need it to be but thankfully they had Kizame wasabi. I had to ask 5 times for it bcuz no one knew of it and were surprised as to me knowing about the original wasabi and its taste. With Kizame you use less and really don't need any soy sauce. Also, if the fish is good quality, you will not need much if any soy sauce. read more

It is huge so cutting through it will just tear the crust off. They have a pretty decent view. The service was good. Worst eatery experience in 20 years! When we'd arrived at the check in management wouldn't sit us at the bar to watch the bears niners game. 3 people blocked 8 seats so the three of us were out of luck. I've posted the pos single a-hole who wouldn't move 1 place over. I'd stared him down hoping for interaction but the pussified apparently won't go there. My wife was turned off by the stench in the air there! Then we proceeded to the front check in again only to witness several unkept tables with food scraps everywhere underneath them. I asked the attendant if they'd had a rat problem because leaving food scraps on floors is their preference. Eventually they'd cleaned the gross tables and removed the food scraps from the floor. We were seated and received ZERO service for 15 minutes. The place was empty! We promptly informed two employees that no service to us was going to be an issue. (Hence this review.) We got the hell out of that horrible experience and enjoyed the opposite at the Raiders bar downstairs. Their attitude reflected no concern of welcoming us to their establishment. If you go to this shithole you're going to regret the experience hopefully not as bad as we'd experienced. There are good establishments at this H resort but most certainly not this one! read more

We thought it was going to be a good experience because of the many Asian restaurants in Las Vegas that are exceptional. Jayde @ 16 was not one of them. The best thing about the experience was the view. They sat us on the Luxe side of the 16th floor so we never got to see the actual restaurant. It honestly felt like an overflow room with bad banquet tables, chairs that were uncomfortable. When the food arrived, the honey walnut prawns were too sweet and the prawns were too tough. The crab friend rice was crunchy. And I ordered the ramen which was more like saimin. A really thin broth with a couple of fish cakes and shrimp tempura that was over cooked. Again the shrimp were tough. I would not recommend Jayde @ 16, and that hurts becuase I love the M. My wife and I go to the M for breakfast at Marinellis every time we're in Las Vegas. Perhaps the Marinellis cooks could help Jayde 16 read more

Every single time I come here is a wonderful experience from staff to food. The view is incredible. Really this restaurant is a hidden gem. If you've not been consider going we had the calamari, a few different Nigiri sushi, a few rolls and it was all extremely filling and wonderful. Well, my big New Year resolution was to post more Yelp reviews, so here we go! Wife and I went to Jayde for our NYE dinner. From the hostess to our server, Joy, everyone did their best to accommodate our every request! There are great views of The Strip from both the tables and the bar seating. For you IG fans, be sure to utilize the background imagery in both the elevator entrance way and inside the elevator itself! Now, onto the food! We started out with a myriad of appetizers. The crispy broccoli was in fact, crispy, and melt in your mouth good! The calamari was a bit too big to be "dippable" but the dip itself was great! My wife also tried the shrimp and pork shumai, which she also commented was too large, throwing off the flavor combinations. For our entrees, we enjoyed the crab fried rice and Jayde roll. The rice comes in a portion size built for two! Plenty of crab and egg flavor. While I'm not typically a saucy sushi guy, the Jayde roll offered a lot of different flavors. I must say, even for my rather large mouth, it was tough to defeat each piece in a single bite! We were sure to step outside for a better view prior to leaving. All that food and an iced tea, which was kept mostly refilled, was $100. Not too shabby! read more

If you're gonna be hit or miss, then your hits had better hit hard. Jayde @ 16 is a creative use of a rooftop bar space at the M Resort. The view is no doubt a big selling point. I've been getting dining credit by playing slots downstairs, and it just so happens that these guys were open on both nights so far when I've used said dining credit. The elevator to Jayde @ 16 is not far from Anthony's. When you ask the host about doing takeout, they'll instruct you to place that order at the bar. The bartender actually takes your order at the drink expediting window, which is a bit awkward. But it works. On my first visit, I went with the Pad Thai ($25.00). It looked the part in photos and in person, but the requisite flavors were just not there. Pad Thai needs to have fish sauce and tamarind, neither of which I detected. The lemon wedge included is not a sufficient substitute for tamarind. It's such a shame because the noodles, chicken, and huge prawns were actually cooked nicely, and the fresh bean sprouts and crushed peanuts would have been great accoutrements with the proper recipe. For the sky-high price of this entree, they need to get it right. Out of curiosity and determination, I returned for takeout again and went for the Oxtail Soup ($25.00). Thankfully, this was a much better entree. The braised oxtail was tender and relatively easy to remove from the bones, although you're still best served taking it apart by hand and not utensil. The broth was rich and relied on salt as part of the flavor profile, but it stayed within the upper limits of tolerability. The bok choy was pretty soft and lost all the bitter notes. I haven't had any other versions, including that one in Downtown Las Vegas, but I really enjoyed this one. I also ordered some dessert this time, namely the Matcha Cheesecake ($10.00). Aside from how the presentation of the glaze suffered since they packaged this together with the soup and didn't warn me about the temperature contrast, the dish somehow leaned a bit more cake than cheesecake in how thick it was, and neither the matcha nor the cheese came through strongly enough for my taste. The fresh fruit was fun at least, and the portion was enough that I saved half for the next day. Jayde @ 16 is worth a visit if you gamble at M Resort enough, if you live nearby, and/or if you like the view from relatively tall buildings. I will more than likely be back in the future. read more

The server was very condescending on answering a question the patron had. The rice on all the rolls was loose and we had to use forks to eat our sushi because it was falling apart. All the fish tasted fishy. The pot stickers were alright (but that was my first time eating potstickers). The sticky ribs were mostly ribs and the meat did not taste good. It was white rice with an egg thrown on top not even mixed in. No vegetables like peas or carrots. The shrimp had no seasoning or flavor at all. It was edible just not fried rice. The jayde roll was the only good thing we ordered. This place is way over priced for what they serve. Don't come here expecting anything authentic. I only booked because the receptionist said people can watch fireworks on new years even after they close. We asked if we could stay to watch after dinner and they told us to leave because they're closing. Waste of my time and money, wish I could get my New Year's Eve back. We had over heard two different conversations recently about this place and decided we needed to try. We loved the menu and what it had to offer and being on the 16th floor we anticipated an awesome view. Let me tell you, this place delivered and we even made our next reservation before leaving dinner. We were seated near the glass with an awesome window view and could see the Strip. It was so cool to see so much of the valley. When we were seated, our waiter Matthew came over and helped us with our choices. For drinks, I had the Blue Yuzu Drop because I'm a blueberry gal. My fiancé asked if they had any mocktails and Matthew let us know the Blue Yuzu actually had a mocktail version. Both versions of the drink were awesome!! For starters, I had the Edamame and it was awesome! My fiancé had the Spider roll. One thing about this restaurant was the value was EXCELLENT. We didn't know the portions and were shocked and came home with the leftovers. For dinner, we shared the Wagyu Steak Skewers. I had the Honey Chicken which was delicious and my fiancé had the Crab Fried Rice. Dined at Jayde 16 twice before writing this review since I wasn't sure if my first experience there was a mixed bag of experiences. This a is an Asian fusion restaurant that had a good amount of dishes to choose from without being overwhelming. We didn't have a wait when we dined there either time, and were seated promptly. Staff is friendly enough and water glasses were filled without asking. The food was good, not mind blowing, and was reasonably priced compared to the equivalent you would get on the strip. The Jayde roll was very good with just the right amount of spiciness. We also had the sticky ribs which fell off the bone and were pretty nice. The oxtail soup was decent, but lacked a really deep umami flavor. The tonkatsu ramen was very good and did have that rich savory taste I was looking for. The Thai salad was hard to eat. It tasted fine, but the lettuce pieces were not bite size. They were haphazardly broken into irregular pieces which made us have to use a knife to cut some pieces down to a size we could easily eat. Now the bad news. On both occasions, I could not have a decent conversation with my dining partner. I could, however, hear the conversations of every table around me. The acoustics in Jayde are troublesome. The first night I could hear the woeful dating complaints of two women dining next to us, with one woman complaining about her dish not being up to her standards and sending it back. Another night there was a large party drinking and celebrating a birthday. It was so loud I was longing for a set of ear plugs. It's not a place for an intimate dinner unless the place is void of loud drunk women or loud parties of people. They were probably loud because even they couldn't hear each other. Overall, the food was better than expected so I gave it a 4, but the ambiance is lacking. read more

My favorite thing about this place is the amazing view, but the food and service are also fantastic. Been here a few times and have always been taken care of by Hal and/or Ray. Both are supper attentive, personable and give the best recommendations. All the food I've had there has been flavorful, fresh and well portioned.
