Love this small but mighty Sushi Shoo! Service is always great! Place is spacious and clean. Happy Hour is the best! AYCE is the deal.

We stopped into Spicy Tuna for dinner on a Thursday evening. We were greeted right away by the hostess and taken to a table. All of the servers help all of the tables so you're never left without anything. We ordered a kids meal with chicken katsu and French fries, a crunch roll, and bento box combos. I had a bento box with teriyaki steak, tempura calamari, and shrimp tempura. The crunch roll was fresh and the tempura flakes were tasty. The bento box was a huge portion. The teriyaki sauce was a bit too salty for my taste. The tempura calamari was delicious. The shrimp tempura was just okay. The kids meal was a good sized portion. We were checked on constantly by the servers and never had to ask for anything. Spicy Tuna was good but there's so many sushi spots in town that I felt are much better.

I was passing by and wanted to check this place out. Super cute. It was not packed at all, we got seated right away. The server was super nice. And the service was super fast. The food was so good && fresh. I love that they have specials for people that do not do all you can eat. They didn't have a lot of options for sushi rolls without rice. So that was a bummer. But the option they did have was so good. So it was not a big deal. The cheesecake was so bomb omg!!! I was shocked . lol but overall I really enjoyed this place definitely will return.

New owners have taken over and are doing an absolutely fabulous job. The ambience has changed. It's a nice cool Hitt vibe. The service is very good. The portions are ginormous. The food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend if you like sushi I do not like eating all you can eat so I did not have that but it is an option.

Truffle sashimi. 5/5 -- great balance between fishiness and truffle-ness.

Sushi is one of my favorite foods, alongside... well. Everything else, if you've been keeping track of my reviews. As such, while I tend to go to my usual spots, I'm also willing to check out and try new places as well. And when I found out that one of my favorite sushi spots near me closed (Sushiwa, if you're wondering), it didn't take long for me to find another one close by! Spicy Tuna is located in the shopping complex on Eastern and Coronado Center, next to Trader Joe's -- in all honesty, I was curious about this place since Trader Joe's is one of my usual grocery stores, but I never really had the opportunity to check this place out until a few days ago. And for the longest time, they were also focusing largely on sushi a la carte, so I didn't really have a reason to check it out until now. All I can say is, I'm shocked that I haven't come in sooner. The AYCE menu for Spicy Tuna is a fairly recent development, as this place used to just focus on A La Carte dishes. I'm glad that they decided to add the option to the menu, though; their AYCE menu has sushi and various types of rolls, but it also has items that I don't see on other menus, such as mushroom and clam miso soup, Hamburg steak, hibachi chicken and beef, bao buns, soft-shell crab dishes of all types, and even snow crab legs! Of course, they still have their A La Carte menu if you're not that hungry, but if you can swing it, go for the AYCE special. With fresh fish, sushi and sashimi you can't find anywhere else, and even appetizers and izakaya-style dishes that you won't find in the usual sushi restaurants, Spicy Tuna really has it all. The restaurant itself is really pretty, too, with festival-style booths and a mix of both painted and manga-styled art around the dining area. Needless to say, I am a convert -- part of me is kind of glad now that Sushiwa closed, because I would not have found out about this place otherwise. I can't wait to return and tackle the rest of the menu!

Stopped into Spicy Tuna tonight for Valentines Day dinner. Full disclosure, we only came because Sushiwa is apparently no longer in business. So we did a pivot and went here after finding their doors locked. Spicy Tuna was busy so we sat at the bar area so we wouldn't have to wait. There was a lot of staff working and we ordered with a waitress even though we were sitting at the sushi bar. Somewhat unconventional, but that's how they do it. First order was a bowl of edamame, it arrived rather quickly, and it was very overdone and mushy. Not a great start to the meal, but whatever, I didn't come for edamame, I came for sushi. We ordered a lot of rolls and also some tuna, salmon and yellowtail sushi. The sushi was good, the rolls were also good, but nothing knocked my socks off here. We've been to Kaizen, we've been to Hiroba, we've been to I love sushi, and we've always chosen SushiWa as our go to spot. While the food here was good, the staff wasn't exceptional and there were actually some missed orders that never came (rainbow roll, Ashley roll). We ordered desert and waited about 20 minutes and it never came. Then they brought the check and we told them "we never got our desert order." They seemed shocked by this. Then we waited probably another 15 minutes before it finally came out. So that aspect wasn't great. Overall, it's a good sushi place, they do all you can eat and the flavors are pretty good. Like I said, it wasn't great, and I think there is better in the area to be honest. They have great instagram posts, and I had high hopes, but for me, it missed the mark.

My friends went for the all you can eat sushi $37 on weekends . I'm not a sushi fan but there are some other options to choose from . I went with the Japanese curry with veggies. It was very flavor and delicious. The service was good but a little slow .

I was really looking forward to trying this sushi spot, but unfortunately my experience wasn't great. The food didn't taste as fresh as I expected, and shortly after eating there I became very sick. I'm almost positive it was the sushi. It did taste super fishy which I have never had that issue anywhere else I've gotten sushi but I didn't really think about it until I got sick that, that meant it wasn't fresh :/ The staff were polite, but the overall quality and safety of the meal missed the mark for me. I hope the restaurant takes a closer look at their food handling and freshness, because this could have been a much better visit.

Spicy Tuna is right next door to Trader Joe's. Since we are shopping it was great to grab a few rolls and a drink! First time for us here and it's an AYCE sushi for $35 per person. Also, any sake, beer, wine, or spirit is buy 1 get 1 free how cool is that! It's a pretty big place and pretty clean with a subtle Japanese decor vibe. Loved the service we got, and I can only imagine the pace this restaurant must operate at during the week at lunch time. For the food, the salmon skin salad was great! The gyoza was decent and the baked green mussels were as well. The kiss of fire roll was just that, a very spicy roll and my body will pay me back for that one. The Japanese Lasagna was pretty good as its crab, avocado, cream cheese, mayo and eel sauce. We finished with some miso clam soup which was truly delicious. Only negative was that the sushi bar seats were not available to customers when we visited. Great price point to do damage to your waistline and not your wallet.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. We waited for a few minutes at the door before being greeted and seated. The food was not as fresh, and the appetizers looked like they were cooked in a microwave. We ordered quite a bit of Nigiri and they were not as fresh as anticipated. The shumai was the type that you get at Trader Joe's and the spring rolls were sad. I ordered shrimp tempura which I never got. They gave me the sauce first and as I ate the rest of our meal, we never got the tempura to accompany the sauce. So strange! Even the mussels looked bland. We were hoping to find a great sushi spot closer to home, but lesson learned. Drive to the spot we always go to, and don't bother trying a new spot because this definitely didn't live up to our expectations.

Really easy parking. Very cute inside- love the Christmas tree! Service is very efficient. Restrooms are clean. TVs are nice- a few on diff channels. Food is really good quality. I worked in a sushi bar in nor cal for over 8 yrs and this place is legit. Wish they'd have more fried vegetarian rolls! Would recommend!

We came here for all you can eat sushi. It was really good! And the service was friendly, and the sushi came out so quick. We ordered salmon and yellowtail nigiri, edamame, miso soup, a rainbow roll, a tiger roll, and we ordered two other rolls, I can't remember the names of them. We didn't get pictures because we were so hungry! All the sushi was really good and for all you can eat the price was amazing.

I don't think they are usually this busy though, as they were definitely understaffed that evening. Service was consistent throughout the night, and the servers were cheerful and doing their best to take care of everyone. The restaurants design is very relaxed, with some optional bar seating to watch the chefs cook and roast the skewers, with additional options for booths. After 10 PM, they offer a happy hour special with $5 hand rolls, cheap drinks, and basically half off of all their skewers, potatoes, and small bites. On the particular evening that we went, either they were extra busy and had too much customers from CES... but they ran out of sushi rice and did not have any hand rolls....How does a Japanese restaurant run out of rice??? We were super disappointed and ended up just getting skewers. Itzakaya Tora, you definitely need to step up your game and have better management in the future for these big events. I don't think they are that new of a restaurant, but they definitely let me down. Chicken and pork skewers ($2 per skewer, 7/10) - super juicy! You can definitely taste the charcoal and barbecue flavor. They do a great job of keeping each skewer, moist and juicy, that I didn't feel like I was eating burnt skewers like you get at some other restaurants. - $2 per skewer is pretty good for the happy hour deal, but I think it's much more expensive during the regular menu option. Don't think it would be particularly worth it with their regular menu. Overall, super disappointed that they didn't have any more of their sushi, rice and best do not have any $5 hand rolls during their happy hour. Also, the wait was super long to get in, and they were definitely understaffed. Izakaya Tora is a Japanese restaurant off of paradise really close to the strip and the sphere. It is fairly small, but they have non ayce sushi which does = higher prices but better quality. They have a pretty large menu of kitchen items, sake and drinks, and sushi and sashimi. At this visit we shared a scallop crudo that we liked, a yellowtail crudo that we loved, lamb chops were good, and I believe three rolls. One of the rolls we didn't like because they make the srirachi in house which was more sweet than spicy, but the others were good. I do like this place but it is not a quick stop type of place. It's a spot you come and hang out and take your time. Food can take some time but worth it with the quality and taste. It is also not cheap so more a quality over quantity situation. My family made a reservation because they wanted to celebrate my birthday, so I was really looking forward to it. When it is your birthday, even a small detail feels a little more important. You want the night to feel special, smooth, and happy from the beginning. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there seemed to be a small issue with the reservation, and the table we were given was much smaller than expected. Since we were there as a family for a birthday dinner, it felt uncomfortable at first. I have to be honest -- my mood was not great in the beginning. It was one of those moments where you think, "Oh no, is this how the night is going to start?" But then the food started coming out, and Hachi completely turned the night around. The first thing that changed my mood was the beer. The draft beer was served in an unbelievably icy-cold mug. It was not just cold -- it looked and felt like it had come straight out of a freezer. The foam was smooth, the beer was crisp, and the first sip was so refreshing that I almost forgot I had been upset a few minutes earlier. That beer alone deserves applause. Sometimes a perfect cold beer can fix a whole mood, and this one absolutely did. The biggest highlight of the night was the tuna toro. It was incredible. The texture was so soft and delicate that it almost felt like cotton candy melting in my mouth. Rich, buttery, fresh, and so smooth. It was the kind of bite that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a second. We loved it so much that we ordered it three times. Ordering the same dish three times says everything. It was not a maybe. It was not a "let's think about it." It was a clear yes every time. The skewers were also very good. The grilled meats had a nice smoky flavor, and they were seasoned well without being too salty. They paired perfectly with the icy beer. But the shrimp skewer was especially memorable. The shrimp had that perfect bouncy, juicy texture. It was grilled nicely, still tender, and full of natural sweetness. Some grilled shrimp can become dry or forgettable, but this one had personality. Small skewer, big impact. We also enjoyed several other izakaya-style dishes. The grilled shishito peppers with bonito flakes were simple but delicious, and they helped balance out the richer dishes. The grilled squid had a great smoky flavor and a chewy texture that went so well with beer. These are exactly the kinds of dishes that make izakaya dining so fun -- one bite, one sip, one more bite, and suddenly the table is full of happy people. The sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully served over ice. There was a nice variety, including tuna, salmon, white fish, scallop, and ikura. Everything looked clean and fresh, and the presentation made it feel even more enjoyable. But honestly, the toro was the star. I will probably remember that toro for a long time. My daughter ordered tonkatsu, and that was also a huge hit. Sometimes at restaurants like this, kids' dishes can feel like an afterthought, but this tonkatsu was really good. It was crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Seeing my daughter enjoy her food made my birthday dinner even better. As a mom, when your child eats well and is happy, the whole meal suddenly feels more peaceful. That is just the truth. Overall, Hachi started with a little frustration because of the reservation issue and the small table, but the food and drinks completely saved the night. The icy-cold beer, the amazing tuna toro, the juicy shrimp skewer, and the tonkatsu were all memorable. The food was strong enough to make us forget the rough beginning, and by the end of the meal, we were all happy. Las Vegas has so many flashy restaurants, but Hachi has that casual, comfortable izakaya charm. It is the kind of place where you order many small dishes, share with the table, drink something cold, and let the night slowly become fun. I would definitely come back next time I am in Las Vegas. Next time, I already know what I am ordering first: an icy-cold beer and tuna toro. And honestly, I may order the toro twice from the beginning, because one order is definitely not enough.

We sat at the bar, only one other couple there, and maybe 2 other customers in booths. The owner snapped at the person who sat us we weren't sure why and felt maybe we weren't supposed to be seated at the bar. We were greeted by a young server very nice, smiling, welcoming. I ordered a Orion beer, wife had a green tea. Wife ordered some plates. They came quickly. My wife was so excited to try this restaurant, so she ordered and I ate. Everything was incredible. The sashimi , sushi, all melted in your mouth. So many different flavors with each plate. Not over powering sauces which most places do to hide the low quality of fish. Not here each piece was a culinary deliciousness of flavor. The rolls are not typical all rice little filling. The rice enhanced the filling. No need to use soy sauce! The ginger they supply was so fresh we had 4 servings of it. The restaurant is a 50s style diner, but it doesn't matter what the place looked like with this incredible food. We've NEVER had sushi like this. It's expensive, but you are paying for Japan quality sushi. With all the sushi spots and AYCE places I see why it was so slow. I asked if it gets busy, and was given a few jokingly sarcastic answers from I think owner, which was ok cause I joked back and he got it. If you want the experience of going to a master sushi chef restaurant in Japan, go to Tokyo Boys. You'll pay for a great experience. We hope when we come back to Henderson to return!

The atmosphere was clean, quiet & welcoming with music softly playing overhead. The servers, Trinh & Tina were excellent from start to finish. They were attentive & made sure our food kept coming. They also made great suggestions for us which is always helpful; since there's so many items to choose from. So I'm sure there is something for everyone here guys! Everything we ordered was fresh & flavorful. The yuzu salmon was one of my favorites, the salmon was really fresh & buttery. Overall, this is a fantastic AYCE Japanese restaurant that you can't beat for the price. We will be back! Cheers!

They aren't dishing out small rolls either. They make sure you get a full belly. Come eat here ! Worth it ! Service is usually always on point. Sometimes it lacks but only cause it gets so busy. The word is out about this place. I like to come for lunch, not too busy like dinner is. I like coming in , the place is well decorated and some cool stuff to look out as you wait for round one of your orders. Let's go eat !!
