Incredible sushi. My particular favorite was the salmon belly nigiri. Appetizers on point. Agedashi tofu was delishhh. The gyoza had such amazing texture and flavors, I now feel like every time I have gyoza it should be like this. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here with my best friend for a late lunch. We were also blown away with the matcha crème brûlée- pleasantly surprised how well that combo was. The black sesame was yummy too. Everything was so good, you honestly cannot expect this judging by the exterior alone. Will have to come back with more of our friends next!

This place is an absolute gem! The diner exterior is fun but the vibe on the inside is perfect - it's dimly lit with cozy booths and bar seating. There is a single (small) tv at the bar that plays sports. The variety and quality of the fish is excellent and the price if very reasonable for what you're getting. The seared fatty salmon nigiri was excellent. Don't sleep on the Tokyo Boys roll. The Japanese lasagna is what all baked rolls aspire to be. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Old school diner feel with Japanese style. Great speedy service and friendly staff! Second time going and once again food was amazing. We got a few things the blue crab roll, bara chirashi bowl, miso black cod, and tempura with soba. No disappointments here. Everything well priced and worth the drive from Southwest to Henderson. Taking a break from all you can eat now that we have a little plus one tagging along.

Great local spot with a variety of seafood. This is my best friend's favorite place that he wanted me to try while visiting. Nice service and servers were very attentive.

What do you get when you smash together a 1950's retro-style diner and a Japanese restaurant? Tokyo Boys! I've lived in Henderson for almost 25 years and I've driven by Tokyo Boys a handful of times, but never visited them until recently. We did not have a reservation (this was my fault for not checking in advance, since coming here was my idea), so we were told that we would have to wait for a period of time before we were given a table. We waited about 15 minutes, and we agreed that we would leave and find something else if we weren't seated over the next five minutes. Surely enough, when we had about a minute and 20 seconds left on my phone's timer, the hostess came back and told us that she had a table ready for us. Talk about worth the wait! The interior could use a little refresh. I know that they're trying to stick with the 1950's theme, but some of the walls were dirty and looking a little rundown, plus the cushions in the booths need to be replaced. The one we were sitting in was easily ripping apart from years of wear and tear by many past customers. When we go to Japanese restaurants, we always get two different sushi rolls for ourselves, plus one side to share. Kyle and I shared a side of Gyoza and we ordered the following sushi rolls - Philadelphia Roll, California Roll, Tuna Roll, and Dragon Roll. What was interesting is that we got the sushi rolls first and then the Gyoza. Normally, the appetizer comes out before the entree. I dipped my sushi rolls in soy sauce, just like I always do. The taste of the soy sauce was literally dancing on my tongue on top of my sushi rolls. The Philadelphia Roll and the California Roll are always my favorite type of rolls when I visit Japanese restaurants. They're just that good! Kyle also enjoyed his Tuna Roll and Dragon Roll. He's a big fan of the crunchy sushi rolls. The Gyoza was our finisher of the night, despite it being an appetizer. Great place, excellent food. Would love to come back here again!

I haven't been back in a long while. While the sushi hasn't changed, I wish we had the same experience from what I had remembered. The service was a little different. While we asked for some guidance, it was a little vague. I had to ask what fish was being served on the plates. The chirashi bowl was really good and I always love a fried shrimp head. My brother got a bento box and that was delish. Hopefully, if we ever make it back we can try more things!

Excellent food. Fish is super fresh and the layout is diner style which I think is pretty cool and unique. The food feels very authentic and the sushi chef is very passionate towards his craft. The service was pretty quick as well.

You pull up to this place and see that it's an old diner, and you think to yourself, "What have I gotten myself into?" Some of the finest Sushi fish in the Western United States, that's what. Yes, it's an old diner, but that's where the doubt ends. You walk in and are immediately greeted by the chefs, and taken to a table. you sit down and you think you are at the Tsujuki Fish Market in Tokyo. The owner, Hiro, was originally part of the team of restaurant professionals at Osaka, Nobu, Blue Ribbon, Bar Masa and American Fish before starting this gem. Much of the fish served at Tokyo Boys if flown in fresh from Japan- and it shows. The fish is some of the freshest and tastiest Sushi I have ever had. While it's a ways from the Strip, it is worth the cost and time to get here- and while there are good Sushi restaurants on the Strip, I feel this place is even better and the cost is much lower. I usually come with a group and we have a blast eating and drinking, and the staff is excellent. Chef Hiro himself comes to the table to check in. and that speaks volumes how much he cares about his food and customers. We usually have Omakase style- they just bring food until we say stop. If you want to get off the strip and have some of the best Sushi you've ever eaten in relaxed atmosphere, this is your place. Kanpai!!

I chose Tokyo Boys from my loonnggg list of Vegas restaurants because of the lobster tempura, but it was not available last Wednesday. Nooo!! Oh well, maybe some other time but we stayed for dinner anyway. We chose the Ten Don, Una Don, and Kakuni to share. The Ten Don is a bowl of shrimp and vegetable tempura over a bed of rice and eel sauce. The Una Don is the same except with eel instead of the tempura mix. We liked our bowls and have had similar at other restaurants. The kakuni is braised pork belly and was amazing. Tender, flavorful chunks of pork and sliced hard boiled eggs in a delicious broth. Yum!

The gyoza was really flavorful and delicious. Loved it. The sushi rolls are also very flavor and tasted fresh. Service was good and I'd go back again for sure.

Oh wow.. I'm so glad I tried this place!!! I've been sleeping on Tokyo boys for a few years now and I finally gave them a shot. Huge win!! As a Henderson local, I am proud to say I've found my favorite sushi bar across town. Big shout out to chef HIRO San and his team. Arigato gozaimasu!!! From the outside the place looks like an old school 50s diner and it probably was at some point. On the inside you are instantly greeted with a warm irasshaimase welcome. The place is clean, multiple tables, old school booths and large sushi bar seating, clean restrooms and plenty of dining room options. With NBA playoffs on, the TVs were a nice touch. At the time I was dining solo and was very comfortable. The sushi quality was amazing, breathtaking, even mouthwatering as you lust on your next bite. Spot on quality with sources such as Kagoshima and ehime. Thank you for the Bluefin and kanpachi. Had several bites of sushi, couple of rolls and finished with a delicious matcha brûlée and black sesame panna cotta. I highly recommend taking a trip over to Henderson just to check this place out and enjoy your time as the Tokyo boys cater the experience. Arigato gozaimasu!!!

We were only in the mood for sushi and the sushi bar was the only option for seating us since it looked like all the booths were occupied. We did the more expensive version of AYCE sushi where we got to experience appetizers, nigiri, sashimi and specialty rolls. Food came out at a reasonable pace and servers were kind. Things to note: You cannot order half rolls. There is a separate menu for AYCE. The other menu is a la carte. Seaweed salad: perfect portion and was delicious. Baked mussels: we had to order more because it was sooo flavorful. Loved this appetizer. Masago: great! Orange salmon: Refreshing and delicious. Yellowtail with Jalapeno: simple yet delicious. Screaming O (Seared tuna with fusion mix garlic ponzu sauce): This was my least favorite but my partner liked it. I just didn't care for the sauce. Truffle sashimi: great! Gyoza: My partner enjoyed them. Soft shell crab: Easy to eat but it was missing something flavor wise..it did come with a ponzu sauce though. Sapporo has the best soft shell crab appetizer! Oysters with salsa: delicious. I would have liked these a little meatier though. Eel: rich in flavor. Loved these. Salmon nigiri: love the texture of the Salmon and rice to fish ratio was great. Smoked salmon: My partner got another order because he loved it so much! Dynamite: I have had other variations of this appetizer before. Here they make it with baked scallops, mushrooms and onions topped with eel sauce. It was tasty, but I think it needed something else to bring it together. Amaebi: my partner enjoyed this. Lovely presentation. Uni: My partner got this one. He said it was okay. Onion soup: My partner got this one and I thought it was tasty. Satisfying for sure. Gimme 5 (Deep fried shrimp, crab meat, cucumber topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail and yum yum sauce): This was really good! Simple yet delicious! Roll was prepared nicely! Samurai Surf and Turf (Spicy tuna with seared filet mignon on top with yum yum, eel sauce, green onion and sriracha): I wanted to try a signature roll from here. This was my first time having fish and beef in a sushi roll. The flavor was unique and I am glad I can say I experienced it. Mochi (green tea): my partner liked it. It was his first time having mochi. Fried ice cream (green tea): I truly enjoyed this dessert. I really love the textures... cold ice cream in the middle, a cake like consistency on the outside with some crisp. I am not sure how else to describe it but it was amazing. The chocolate syrup and whipped cream was a nice touch too. Flavorful for sure. Best fried ice cream I have had. Glad we tried this place out.

Back when I lived in California, Yoshinoya was one of my go-to spots, so I've been chasing that same comfort food ever since moving to Vegas. The beef bowl was exactly what I was hoping for...simple, flavorful, and just straight up comforting. It honestly hit that nostalgic spot I didn't realize I'd been missing.
