fresh!
Wen D.

I love this place so much and it's a must visit when you're in Vegas. The food is great with really fresh ingredients, and I love that the salmon eggs are unlimited. The service is attentive and friendly, though sometimes the kitchen can't quite keep up when it gets busy. The space is clean but a bit small, so it can get pretty loud.

OK, I apologize in advance because I was not able to write down what every picture was because they serve their all you can eat sushi so fast we had so many plates coming in and coming out that I don't even think I took pictures of all of them, they were so delicious. Everything was fresh. The service was amazing. We went for a birthday celebration and they did not disappoint. My ice cream of choice was a Matcha green tea inspired ice cream. Literally, the sushi and the salmon and the spicy tuna everything was so fresh that it literally just melted on your tongue. I can't wait to go back to Vegas so that I can eat here again and it really was a good value for your money. It's a 90 minute sitting and they give you a 60 minute warning and then a 30 minute warning and then they do a last call with you but honestly you're gonna get so full so fast you won't even need the 90 minutes.

Sakana All you can eat sushi offers all the classics as well as signature rolls for any sushi lover looking to get good food at great value. Sakana just has one pricing tier structure with lunch being $25.95 or dinner at $33.95. Coming here for dinner on a saturday night this place was filled to the brim with large parties waiting to be seated. Luckily my party of 2 was seated very promptly. Service was great with one staff member taking the order and team of servers delivering the food with lightning speed. When I go to AYCE sushi places my strategy is usually to order the specials that you can only order 1 time as it is generally their signature dishes. At Sakana their specials consisted of carpaccios of salmon, yellowtail and albacore which were pretty good. The slices are thin and the rice is minimal which I was fine with as going to AYCE its usually about volume. The quality of the fish was lacking in flavor and I get it with a price $33.95 its a great deal but none of the dishes really stood out. Most used heavy sauces or toppings to disguise the quality. There are so many rolls they have to offer and its almost impossible to try everyone so you have to be very selective or have to come up with a gameplan when eating at AYCE. Overall it was a positive experience and I can see why it is a popular place with every seat taken and patrons waiting to be seated. Its value cannot be beat with the extensive menu Sakana will have something for everyone.

AYCE sushi for just under $35! A short drive from the Strip, in a quiet shopping center was this restaurant completely full with patrons. The wait was less than 30 mins when we arrived around 7pm on a Sunday night. We added our name to the wait list and were sent a text when our table was ready. Once seated, service was fast. The server has a hand held computer, inputting our order, which I assume goes straight to the kitchen. Each dish was brought out within minutes. We were constantly checked in on throughout our meal. Overall, the food was very good. Best sushi I've had...no. But, some different options were available allowing them to standout a bit. They so have some items on the menu that are limited for ayce. Still, food quality was good, service was also good, and price point made it definitely worth the visit. Personally, 4.5* experience

the appetizers, lots of sushi and rolls! Vega tempura, shrimp tempura, shrimp skewers, dragon balls, creamy shrimp, fried banana!!

This Local's Favorite! AYCE LUNCH AND ALL DAY Menu. Every single thing we ordered came out fresh, hot and delicious. Dishes were described, if we had questions. I don't eat any raw meats or fish and I was filled to the brim with all the exceptional dishes. Tried a few new things. My favorite is the Tempura veggies and Tempura Shrimp. But so many wonderful things to eat. Very busy place, no reservations taken, but they move everything along quite nicely. Small place with pretty open kitchen to watch these cooks at work. Fine oiled machines!! The only reason we don't go more often is because we have no idea what portion control is. EVERYTHING is SO GOOD. Fried Banana for dessert is so yummy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Food quality has gone downhill. What happened?? The rice is unseasoned and just plain bland. Are we sure it's sushi rice or just a regular jasmine rice? The saving grace to the meal is probably the one time limited order for the hamachi and salmon carpaccio, the limited one time order of salmon belly nigiri where you get two pieces per person, and probably the hamachi kama. They ran out of uni so that was unfortunate. Very disappointing because sakana used to be the spot I hit up when I'm in town. I'm surprised to see it's still busy, given the horrible downward trend of the food quality. Service was good! Our server was very kind and efficient.

Run, don't walk to this amazing sushi joint! We arrived for an early dinner on a Thu night and at 5.30 pm this picture perfect spot was already bustling. Do not let the blacked out exterior windows deter. We entered and were pleasantly surprised by a fresh modern take on traditional decor. We were whisked to an available table and noted the 4 professional sushi chefs behind the counter busily preparing specialized rolls and individual pieces with asswmbly line precision. Service was amazingly professional and super attentiive. Although Sakana is known as an AYCE we knew we were not so hungry so ordered ala carte: Baked Lobster Mexican Roll Jalapeno Bomb x2 Something Wrong A Little Tease Don't Cry Amigo Mango Mochi Hot and Cold Sake Green Tea All the dishes came to the table within mere minutes and the freshly prepared sushi was fresh, amazingly presented and delicious! We were amazed by our experience here but moreover we were surprised by the very reasonable $80 (before tax and tip) for all of our exceptional food and drink as a party of 3! Well done Sakana! Folks, run, don't walk!

This was a recommended sushi ayce so while we were in Vegas, my sister and I went there for dinner. It is tucked far in the back of a shopping plaza. It was a packed restaurant but no Asians in a sushi restaurant would make you wonder why. We sat down and ordered anyways. Honestly, the cost is very decent $33.99 for sushi AYCE BUT unhappy about the food order restrictions and the quality of the sushi. We can only have one order of All Day Specials, one order of salmon Kama, and skewers each person. They ran out of hamachi Kama at 5:30PM. HOW?! Most of their skewers were okay. The chicken and pork belly skewers were overcooked and dry. I did not enjoy the uni and the raw oysters topped with mango salsa. I wished we were able to order more of the carpaccio and salmon Kama. That's the only few items we did like. My fave was the salmon belly nigiri and green tea ice cream. Honestly, the price is cheap for sushi AYCE but sushi quality and the skewers are not good enough for me to come back and eat here again.

Arrived around 7:40pm with a small group, and was greeted immediately and was seated right away. Restaurant has parking in a shared lot with other businesses. The place was packed. Everyone in our group did AYCE minus the little one who had à la carte. There was so much on the menu, it was overwhelming. We had 6 rolls plus a few nigiri which were excellent. I have to say that the flavors were amazing. The pairings of fish, sauces and toppings were done well. Everything was tasty. I would definitely recommend this place and I would return again. So yummy!

Tucked in the corner of a strip mall on a busy corner, if you blink, you will miss it. If it wasn't for 2 sets of multiple people milling around the parking lot, I would not have guessed it was busy at all from standing outside. Almost looked like it was closed, save the neon open sign in the corner. Once inside, the hustle and bustle was almost rhythmic and the music was a mix of most genres of popular music. There is a cherry blossom tree in the middle of the room, and booths and tables trying to maximize space, which was pretty tight. One person width aisles with bussers and wait staff jockeying for position and the occasional interruption from a hostess seating more people. AYCE time limit is 1.5 hours, plenty of time to sample their menu. There were appetizers, soups, sushi, nigiri, rolls, handrolls, salads - from cucumber and seaweed to seafood salads - you name it, its there. The cuts of fish were soooooo fresh. Some of, if not the best fish I have had in Vegas. No skimping in the ingredients either- they serve very balanced and generous portions. The fish tasted clean and fresh and none of the rolls we sampled were overpowered by rice. Especially loved the 2 riceless rolls they have (can't recall the names unfortunately); they were 20/20!! The service was fast, and other one small hiccup with one of the food runners... she kept tossing plates on the table and not announcing the dishes she was tossing at us; until my +1 mentioned it to our waitor and he took care of the issue... the rest of the service was great. Our waitor was super nice and never hesitated to stop to talk us through different menu items and made some really awesome suggestions for us to try. Overall service from him was 20/20 - unfortunately, I never got his name so I can't shout him out direct. Anyway - great sushi, busy little spot. Worth the try. P.S. Price was great too!

My baby boy wanted AYCE sushi for his birthday dinner. Unfortunately, I was out of town for the day time of his birthday so he decided lunch the day after would be better. I have eaten at Sakana before but he has not, so I knew he would love it. We arrived around noon and there were already people waiting and the place was packed. Since it was just the two of us, we got lucky with a table being open. We sat down and started looking over the menu. It was pretty quick to start our order and get our food. The staff were great, attentive even though food was coming out of the kitchen every minute. I will say this is the BEST AYCE in Vegas!

5 to Ron our server. He was taking orders and keeping the table clean without a break, really on it. 4 for the food. Large selection at a great price. Gratuity is automatically included here.

Sakana is absolutely worth the hype. The all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner pricing is very reasonable for the quality and variety you get. The service is excellent, attentive, friendly, and efficient even when it's busy. It's always busy. Everything tastes fresh, with a great rice-to-meat ratio that really sets their sushi apart. Also, they will customize items and substitute items. There are so many options to choose from, in all different sizes, making it perfect for sharing. It's great for groups or date nights alike. The quality and freshness are consistent. It's located in the Target shopping center. Parking can feel limited, but there's actually plenty available, just allow extra time since it gets busy. If you're in a hurry, plan ahead, but trust me, it's completely worth the wait since they do not take reservations. The restaurant is small and cozy, a must!

It was an incredible dining experience, and I would certainly recommend it The restaurant is located in the lovely Cosmopolitan Casino. We had a couple pre-drinks at the Chandelier Bar while we waited for our reservation. When we arrived we only waited a few minutes for them to prepare our table. The restaurant was packed. There's a surprising number of tables/and seating options. The restaurant is elegant and trendy. The lighting is very intimate, but it adds to the ambiance The menu offers a variety of unique and intriguing Asian-American-style delicacies. David Chang is a renowned chef, and everything we tried was incredible. The pork belly bao buns were one of my favorites. We ended up getting a variety of plates and sharing. For drinks they have signature and classic cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options The staff were incredible. Very efficient, professional, and friendly. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner, and we were well taken care of Some tips: Definitely get a reservation. There is a chance that you will get a table as a walk-in, but not a 100% chance, and you will probably end up waiting a long time I would recommend doing what we did and grab a drink or two nearby while you wait I will say, there probably isn't a bad thing in this menu, but there also isn't much on here for the "picky eater." This is also a fine-dining Vegas experience, so, I wouldn't expect the most inexpensive prices. I wouldn't worry about any of that and just try as much as you can, share, and you will have an amazing time Cheers!!

I went this time again with my spouse and we both got a Tonkotsu Ramen, Pork Belly Bun, and a Yuzu Lemonade. The ramen tasted like cup noodles but the buns were at least decent. Save your money and your time, go somewhere else for ramen.

Everything we ordered hit the spot. The tonkotsu ramen was comforting, rich, and flavorful. Exactly what you want after a long night out. The deep-fried shrimp and tuna were fried perfectly with a nice crisp texture. If it wasn't so late, I probably would've kept ordering more. But the real star? The Otoro (bluefin tuna belly) sashimi. Absolute must order. It literally melts in your mouth and had zero fishy smell, just pure buttery goodness. My wife isn't usually a sushi person, but she ended up loving it and ate way more than I expected. That alone should tell you something. The fish quality was actually pretty good, the nigiri was fresh and tasty w a decent rice to fish ratio, the rolls were pretty standard. I would say that this was a reasonable price for what we got especially given how everything in Vegas is so expensive. Definitely not a bang for your buck but not too expensive to where I felt scammed either. Good choice for a light lunch if you're not too hungry, although I did end up a little more full than I expected to when I first saw how much food there was. For drinks we got plum wine (umeshu) and beer. Both of these were good, I love plum wine and really like when places offer it. Service was fast, we got here around noon and they weren't busy at all with maybe only 3 other tables at the same time as us. Servers/hostess were nice and attentive. Ambiance was nice, typical modern Asian sushi restaurant vibes. I will say the lighting was a little weird it was muted/dim for the most part but where I was sat was directly below a light so it felt a little too bright in contrast. Definitely surpassed my expectations a little for a sushi spot in a mall, but it's Vegas so I guess it makes sense that there's good food everywhere. Overall, I would come here again, it's more chill since than some other places since it's in a mall and I like how it wasn't too busy plus the food was actually pretty good!
