SAKANA IS SIMPLY THE BEST! Sakana has officially become our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE sushi restaurant, and for good reason! Their all-you-can-eat menu is loaded with an incredible variety, so there's always something delicious to try. As someone who prefers sushi without rice, I especially appreciate their no-rice options! They may only have two no-rice rolls, but their seafood salad with assorted fish and cucumber is SO delicious, and their Jalapeño Bomb is an absolute MUST every single visit! Their nigiri is also fantastic--the rice-to-fish ratio is perfect, allowing the fresh fish to shine without being overwhelmed by rice! One of my favorite things is that they offer full or half rolls on most of their sushi selections, making it easy to try even more of their amazing menu. Add in their huge selection of appetizers, including edamame, and there's no shortage of options to keep your taste buds happy! And PLEASE, whatever you do, SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! Their fried banana with ice cream is my go-to every single time. It's the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal! But what truly makes Sakana special is the staff. The food is amazing, the selection is fantastic, and the people make the entire experience that much better. You can have great sushi anywhere, but when you combine delicious food with genuinely wonderful service, you have something special. Sakana isn't just our favorite sushi spot anymore--it's THE sushi spot we compare everyone else to! If you haven't been, you're seriously missing out!
I LOVE Sakana! One of my favorite and go-to places for AYCE. So so flavorful, and worth every penny. The amount of fish you get for every nigiri is toooo good. I love this restaurant. Please go here. The service is always, always so good. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. It's nice for a date night, a dinner with family, or a night out with friends.
Came here in a Sun afternoon so we ordered the lunch AYCE ($26). My friend recommended this as it's similar to X-fish back home in California. The first thing that stood out to me was the portion size! I was really happy with the rice to fish ratio. Quality of the fish was decent, I think it's their best for what they can get out in Nevada. 3 stars for food just because it was average. 4 stars though for service. Our server was very friendly and the food came out superrr fast. I think the quickness compromised presentation, but that doesn't really matter to us. Our favorites were shrimp tempura, salmon nigiri, lemon seared salmon nigiri, yuzu yellowtail nigiri, and eel nigiri. We also ordered garlic salmon nigiri, yellowtail nigiri, tuna nigiri, shrimp tempura roll, miso soup, veggie tempura, agedashi tofu, spicy garlic edamame, shishito peppers, and each skewer. The spicy garlic edamame seemed to be dressed in butter/fried with butter, and spiced with chili oil/red pepper flakes. It wasn't my favorite. The skewers were a bit dry or just average tasting. The rice for the roll had a soft texture, not like sushi rice texture which threw me off s bit. Bf really enjoyed the tofu skewers and agedashi tofu as well. For the price point, this is really great sushi, considering the rice to sushi ratio. The service was great too. I would want to try other great food in the area, but I'm glad I was able to try Sakana this time around!
While visiting Vegas recently I brought my husband here for early lunch. My Dad brought me here last time and he comes here for every visit. It looks like a restaurant in a random plaza corner...however, once you enter it is quaint and inviting! You can definitely do All You Can Eat....the selection is vast, the seats fill up fast and the sushi's are wrapped over fish just with minimal rice so you can really taste the fish. The wait staff was attentive even though it got pretty busy and brought our food over as quickly as it was made. Their yakitoris are delicious too and so are their appetizers. I did order an udon....that was a bit too much on the soy sauce side and way too sweet. Last time it was delicious. If in town....definitely give this place a try!
Best ayce in Las Vegas. Everything was lightning fast as soon as we ordered which we appreciated it since we had 3 hungry kids with us. Omar was very attentive and very patient with us. All the nigiri's were great, the nachos with bulgogi were excellent and we finished it off with various desserts that were included. My kids loved the tempura banana ice cream, strawberry mochi, and vanilla ice cream. My wife loved the affogato ice cream. Lots of parking and no wait. We got there around 11am. Chill place to hang out around. I would definitely come back anytime I was in Vegas.
This is one of the top sushi places in Vegas hands down. Located off Maryland and flamingo, right off the strip a few blocks. Such a hidden gem. Every roll was delicious! We went for lunch around 2pm and there was no wait, food came out fast and it was great! Will definitely be back! I would absolutely recommend!
Wonderful experience my first time dining here. I was seated immediately and given my own pitcher of water which was nice, since it was 114f outside. My server was a handsome young man named Omar who was polite and attentive. He explained the menu and let me know everything on it was included in the AYCE. Something's were one per customer. I ordered various sashimi . The soft shell crab, a roll, seaweed salad and some stuffed fried jalapeños with a name, I won't repeat here. But it was all delicious. The quality was great , the flavors were on point, and the speed at which they came were the fastest I've ever experienced anywhere in my life. ! If there was anything at all to criticize, it was the portion sizes of the sushi sashimi. They were some of the smallest I've ever seen. HOWEVER! , it's all you can eat so in this case , you're not losing anything. If anything , you're getting to try more sushi because you don't get full too quickly. I love this place and will go back next time I'm in town.
My family and I dined at Sakana for dinner during our trip to Las Vegas. It was our first time and we had a positive experience all around. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great, especially for it being an AYCE spot. Lots of variety and we all left full and happy. Sakana is located in a shopping center off of the Las Vegas strip. It's not too far from the strip, but definitely not walkable. There is free parking shared among the businesses in the shopping center with several spots directly in front of the restaurant. We came in for dinner on a weekday and they were pretty busy. We had a little bit of a wait before someone was able to take our order, but after that initial order, service was attentive and quick. We tried several items off of their menu and everything was tasty. Some distinct favorites included: - Salmon Lover roll - Garlic Salmon nigiri - Seared Lemon Salmon nigiri The yum yum sauce was also...yummy! Fish was fresh and wait time to receive our orders were quick. Sakana has quickly become one of our favorite AYCE sushi spots in Vegas. We would definitely stop by again. A memorable first visit for sure.
Date of Visit: 7/23/26 Time of Visit: 5:20pm While in Vegas with my group of 4 adults and 2 kids, we wanted to try out this highly rated AYCE sushi restaurant that's away from The Strip. We were excited that we did not have to wait for a table since we arrived right near the start of traditional dinner time. After we looked through the menu, we ordered a wide variety of sushi, specialty cut rolls, and carpaccio style fish. The quality of the sushi was not impressive to me and my group. We consider ourselves quite well-versed in the realm of AYCE sushi restaurants because we frequently visit them around the LA/OC area as well as when we visit Las Vegas several times a year. The most common concern my group had about the sushi was the fact that most of the time they were too saucy. In fact, the sauce quite literally overpowered the taste of the fresh fish. On the cut rolls, we also noticed that the rice was on the mushy side, which was likely a byproduct of the extraneous sauce used to drench the rolls with. The biggest kicker came when I ordered the very last item from the menu right before dessert. I ordered one order of Tamago, which is sweet egg on top of sushi rice. Keeping in mind the fact that this sushi is extremely common and is typically served at all sushi restaurants I've ever been to. In the 15+ years of going to a wide variety of sushi restaurants (both a la carte style and AYCE style), I've never ever had WARM tamago! It created confusion on my part when I received the dish onto the table. I took a bite of the egg and it was horrendous. It's an absolute travesty that the egg was served warm. I could easily tell that the egg was simply microwaved because it was dry on the outside. Every other restaurant I've been to, the tamago was served chilled. With everything said and done, the only saving grace for this restaurant was the dessert. The deep fried banana was quite good, and I've would've been much happier and satisfied eating multiple orders of that dessert. I am strongly recommending for this restaurant to institute serious improvements and there's no way they should continue to serve Tamago as a microwaved sushi.
Our first time here. Food selection was great of choice for all you can eat. Nice ambience for every occasion or everyday meal for family and friends. Good customer service. Highly recommended to family, friends and colleagues.
We were very pleased and happy my daughter found this restaurant on Yelp while we were in Vegas! The reviews did not disappoint us or let us down! There was some major construction in the neighborhood, so it took us in circles but we finally arrived! The restaurant is quaint and located in a strip mall. Parking was crazy, and we had quite a few panhandlers walk up to us as we waited outside for our table. The restaurant is smaller but extremely crowded. Many patrons were dining there, and we can understand why. We ordered a variety of dishes, appetizers and desserts. Each one was fresh and had great flavoring! We did not order the AYCE. We ordered several rolls and they were 5/5. The rice was fresh and so was the fish. There were not any aftertaste or seaside smells at all. They didn't overcompensate by drowning the rules in sauces. You can actually taste everything which was very refreshing. The muscles were cooked properly. They were not overcooked or undercooked. They were not too watery like most places. They actually used real missago. The only thing that I would suggest is to maybe spend a little bit more time cleaning the shells. We ordered several appetizers such as the taoyaki, tempura, edamame and a few others. I love the way the temper was nice and crispy on the outside and the shrimp was still tender and fully cooked. The edamame was not watered down and had the right amount of salt. The taiyaki actually had chunks of octopus and not just smush seafood and sauce in the middle. The desserts were okay, we asked for green tea but they gave us something different. The tempora fried ice cream was a little too battered. The service was pretty good even though they were extremely busy. They did come and check on us a couple of times and we did have to wave them down a few times. However they were friendly and definitely did respond to us when we asked for additional items. We definitely do not have any complaints about this restaurant. We will definitely be coming back. We highly recommend it.
Came in planning to grab a seat at the bar... only to find out there isn't one! A couple walked in right after me looking for the same thing, so we all ended up sitting together and making the best of it. We ordered so much food that I completely forgot to take pictures of everything, but that's usually a good sign! The service was excellent, and the speed at which the food and drinks came out was spot on. Everything arrived quickly, and we never felt like we were waiting on anything. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center, which is always a plus. Overall, a great experience, good food, good drinks, and a fun unexpected dining crew. I'd definitely come back!

While recently visiting Vegas, my husband and I visited Sakana for a late dinner. It was great that there was no wait and service was quick. The nigiri was delicious and fresh and the rice to fish ratio was great. There was a great selection of sushi, everything was fresh, everything was tasty, and we plan on coming back. I especially loved that tempura ice cream was included with the AYCE buffet. Tempura ice cream and fried ice cream is one of my favorite desserts and it did not disappoint. More places really need to serve it. YUM!!!! We will definitely be coming back to Sakana on future visits. This is a great place to grab delicious sushi that is great quality, better than most regular sushi restaurants from back home, let alone AYCE restaurants. read more

Came here on a weekday lunch ($25.95) and was promptly seated. There's a lot of parking in the lot but they're kinda on the side so it's not as much. They have a fair amount of standard items on their menu, from appetizers to skewers, hand rolls, rolls, and nigiri. I opted for a bunch of their salmon nigiri and I was really happy with the amount of fish to rice ratio. I enjoyed having less of the rice here and their sushi was fresh. I did also enjoy their yuzu yellowtail as well. Their no name hand roll (with soy paper) has shrimp tempura, eel, salmon, and crunch to it and was flavorful. They also gave a choice of ice cream at the end, so save some room for it! read more

Service is great, food is good. But it is off strip and don't expect nothing fancy! But I was not comfortable with the fact that deserts are only one and single one item per person. I asked for green tea icecream and affogato and I was told that I could pick ONLY one item from the dessert menu! read more

I've been coming to Sakana for over a decade now and I've never had a bad experience. Their sushi selection is expansive, their sushi doesn't come with too much rice - which is rare for AYCE - and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be sure you come early to avoid the dinner rush. read more

Sakana Sushi is an okay option if you're on a budget and want to try a variety of different items. They offer an all-you-can-eat option, but the portions are quite small and there are some limitations on what you can order. A few of the dishes also didn't really taste like what I would expect compared to ordering the same items at a more traditional sushi restaurant but, realistically, you get what you pay for. On the positive side, the service was surprisingly quick, friendly, and attentive, which we really appreciated. Overall, it's a decent choice for the price if you're looking for an inexpensive way to sample different sushi and Japanese dishes. read more

I came here after my bodybuilding show because it was open late and my friend said that it was a sister restaurant of the 888 chains. I was SO excited because I was craving sushi and I also love 888! The nigiri was the only thing I ordered (after learning my lesson not to get rolls from another sushi buffet). It is also the only thing that is really worth it considering the rice to fish ratio is AMAZING. My favorites were the fatty tuna and Uni. The quality of the fish was also top notch and literally nothing was bad. Overall, I would definitely come here again and just get the nigiri. Totally worth your money! read more

You know, every time we come here, it's always good service. Ron is really nice. We see him all the time we're there. He works really hard & knows what he's doing. This is my fave AYCE spot, especially for lunch, when it's really good prices. Plus, I'm really full for the rest of the day, till maybe a late night eats. Food comes fresh & quick. So yummy!!! I have my favorites & I actually have a list on my phone, so when ordering, I order them all at once & it's comes all at ones too. From there, I'll order other things on the menu if I decide. We first discovered this place when my husband was looking for a AYCE sushi spot when we were living in Vegas. From there, it became a favorite spot, a long with the family Restarants. (Neko etc) Now, that we're back as tourist to Vegas (since we moved back home to California,) we definitely keep this on our list of visiting & also brining friends too. #Sakana read more

We found Sakana because we were looking for a place that as open late because we flew into Las Vegas late. Sushi is a favorite food genre for us and we ordered the all u can eat option for $33. It's a great option you get plenty of food and options Most of the items were brought fresh after ordered and they were plentiful. Highly recommend this place read more

Sakana All you can eat sushi offers all the classics as well as signature rolls for any sushi lover looking to get good food at great value. Sakana just has one pricing tier structure with lunch being $25.95 or dinner at $33.95. Coming here for dinner on a saturday night this place was filled to the brim with large parties waiting to be seated. Luckily my party of 2 was seated very promptly. Service was great with one staff member taking the order and team of servers delivering the food with lightning speed. When I go to AYCE sushi places my strategy is usually to order the specials that you can only order 1 time as it is generally their signature dishes. At Sakana their specials consisted of carpaccios of salmon, yellowtail and albacore which were pretty good. The slices are thin and the rice is minimal which I was fine with as going to AYCE its usually about volume. The quality of the fish was lacking in flavor and I get it with a price $33.95 its a great deal but none of the dishes really stood out. Most used heavy sauces or toppings to disguise the quality. There are so many rolls they have to offer and its almost impossible to try everyone so you have to be very selective or have to come up with a gameplan when eating at AYCE. Overall it was a positive experience and I can see why it is a popular place with every seat taken and patrons waiting to be seated. I'll start with what I enjoyed. This is my second time coming here from California. The food was pretty decent the nigiri was the way to go; I really enjoyed the small rice to sashimi ratio. I also really enjoyed their uni and had fried ice cream as a finisher. The first time we came everything was amazing which was what made us come back. The food, the customer service and the price! The only thing that threw me off during this visit was when I tried their oyster and it was honestly not great. Had some kind of giant hard connecting joint on it which I've never seen on oyster before so that was quite strange and gross. During this visit the customer service was mediocre. The guy seemed like he didn't even want to be there. Still tipped him well anyways. We were kind to him and we were never rude or complained (even about the weird oyster). We worked in food service for years and understand what it's like and honestly that was bare minimum. read more
LOVED THIS PLACE! Tristan and his crew were absolutely friendly and did a fabulous job with service! Food was top notch for the price. The mussels and bulgogi were a universal hit. We loved the sashimi as well! The kids loved the dragon balls, fried rice and udon. The fried rice would give authentic Chinese restaurants a run for their money with the flavor and heat like that straight out of a wok. Food was SUPER QUICK to come out and it all was very fresh. OK, I apologize in advance because I was not able to write down what every picture was because they serve their all you can eat sushi so fast we had so many plates coming in and coming out that I don't even think I took pictures of all of them, they were so delicious. Everything was fresh. The service was amazing. We went for a birthday celebration and they did not disappoint. My ice cream of choice was a Matcha green tea inspired ice cream. Literally, the sushi and the salmon and the spicy tuna everything was so fresh that it literally just melted on your tongue. I can't wait to go back to Vegas so that I can eat here again and it really was a good value for your money. It's a 90 minute sitting and they give you a 60 minute warning and then a 30 minute warning and then they do a last call with you but honestly you're gonna get so full so fast you won't even need the 90 minutes. read more
AYCE sushi for just under $35! A short drive from the Strip, in a quiet shopping center was this restaurant completely full with patrons. The wait was less than 30 mins when we arrived around 7pm on a Sunday night. We added our name to the wait list and were sent a text when our table was ready. Once seated, service was fast. The server has a hand held computer, inputting our order, which I assume goes straight to the kitchen. Each dish was brought out within minutes. We were constantly checked in on throughout our meal. Overall, the food was very good. Best sushi I've had...no. But, some different options were available allowing them to standout a bit. They so have some items on the menu that are limited for ayce. I love this place so much and it's a must visit when you're in Vegas. The food is great with really fresh ingredients, and I love that the salmon eggs are unlimited. The service is attentive and friendly, though sometimes the kitchen can't quite keep up when it gets busy. The space is clean but a bit small, so it can get pretty loud. read more

This Local's Favorite! AYCE LUNCH AND ALL DAY Menu. Every single thing we ordered came out fresh, hot and delicious. Dishes were described, if we had questions. I don't eat any raw meats or fish and I was filled to the brim with all the exceptional dishes. Tried a few new things. My favorite is the Tempura veggies and Tempura Shrimp. But so many wonderful things to eat. Very busy place, no reservations taken, but they move everything along quite nicely. Small place with pretty open kitchen to watch these cooks at work. Fine oiled machines!! The only reason we don't go more often is because we have no idea what portion control is. EVERYTHING is SO GOOD. Fried Banana for dessert is so yummy. This is always a must go to stop whenever I'm in Vegas. Despite being dinner time, We got seated within 5 minutes of arrival. They're quick to take orders and once it's in the iPad system, food starts coming out. We had quite our fill of sushi, pork belly, and salmon. My kids love the miso soup and edamame beans as well! This place always satisfies my Japanese food cravings. They have quite a bit of staff walking around taking out empty plates and bringing out food dishes. read more
Super quick service and great variety on the menu. The rice-to-fish proportion is AMAZING; definitely do not have to worry about filling up on rice. The lunch menu is a great deal and includes most things on the regular menu. The only thing I didn't like was the skewers but honestly everything else being so good made me forget about them. Sakana is absolutely worth the hype. The all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner pricing is very reasonable for the quality and variety you get. The service is excellent, attentive, friendly, and efficient even when it's busy. It's always busy. Everything tastes fresh, with a great rice-to-meat ratio that really sets their sushi apart. Also, they will customize items and substitute items. There are so many options to choose from, in all different sizes, making it perfect for sharing. It's great for groups or date nights alike. The quality and freshness are consistent. It's located in the Target shopping center. Parking can feel limited, but there's actually plenty available, just allow extra time since it gets busy. If you're in a hurry, plan ahead, but trust me, it's completely worth the wait since they do not take reservations. The restaurant is small and cozy, a must! read more

This was a recommended sushi ayce so while we were in Vegas, my sister and I went there for dinner. It is tucked far in the back of a shopping plaza. It was a packed restaurant but no Asians in a sushi restaurant would make you wonder why. We sat down and ordered anyways. Honestly, the cost is very decent $33.99 for sushi AYCE BUT unhappy about the food order restrictions and the quality of the sushi. We can only have one order of All Day Specials, one order of salmon Kama, and skewers each person. They ran out of hamachi Kama at 5:30PM. HOW?! Most of their skewers were okay. The chicken and pork belly skewers were overcooked and dry. I did not enjoy the uni and the raw oysters topped with mango salsa. I wished we were able to order more of the carpaccio and salmon Kama. That's the only few items we did like. My fave was the salmon belly nigiri and green tea ice cream. Honestly, the price is cheap for sushi AYCE but sushi quality and the skewers are not good enough for me to come back and eat here again. read more
Food quality has gone downhill. What happened?? The rice is unseasoned and just plain bland. Are we sure it's sushi rice or just a regular jasmine rice? The saving grace to the meal is probably the one time limited order for the hamachi and salmon carpaccio, the limited one time order of salmon belly nigiri where you get two pieces per person, and probably the hamachi kama. They ran out of uni so that was unfortunate. Very disappointing because sakana used to be the spot I hit up when I'm in town. How long is for the waiting line?
From my own experience, we have never had to wait more than 5 minutes
Is there any waitlist and how do I join the waitlist?
There is no wait list without physically going to the restaurant. No app and you can't call to get in line, you have to show up to the hostess. They will then put your name on the list and text you when your table is ready.
What are the prices for lunch and dinner?
$25.95 for lunch $34.95 for dinner.... It is in huge print plain sight on top of the menu.
Does this place have the all you can drink option for $9.99 like sushi neko?

The place is all you can eat, if you don't want to pay the 28.99 forall you can eat you can buy items at regular menu prices.
