Honestly one of the best and freshest sushi spots in Henderson! I am always so happy when I'm here and it's been consistent everytime I go (I have been here 3 times). The sashimi is amazing and I don't even usually do rolls, but their OMG roll and dragon roll IS SOOOO GOOD YOU NEEDA TRY. The service is insanely fast and I genuinely don't know how they do it. If you're in Henderson, you need to come here!!

I'm always wary about trying new sushi spots (real talk: Seattle spots are on a pedestal for me) but came across Toro Sushi, specifically their lunch specials, on Instagram. After running errands all afternoon, I swung by to finally check it out and am SO glad I did. This place is small and cozy, but service was speedy and friendly. The portion sizes were HUGE, and the bento gave so much to sample for $14. Yes, only $14! Everything, from the teriyaki to tempura, was so tasty and filling. We left extremely satisfied and kept raving about this find (thanks, IG!). I can't wait to try some of their rolls next time!

Thank you for making a little extra for our girls.

Love this place! We have been coming to this sushi spot for years now and it's always great. Fresh sushi and friendly staff. They even cut an orange into a cute bear when my daughter had asked for a slice bc her dinner plate didn't come with one.

    Chef's special to go.

Yelp Review #41 of 2025 Came here on November 19, 2025 around 5:30pm to celebrate my wife's birthday with our family of five. We've been loyal customers for years, always treated the staff with respect, tipped generously, and never once needed a reservation. There were clearly open tables when we walked in. One of the hostesses started to seat us as usual, but an older woman we've had decent interactions with many times before suddenly stopped everything to ask if we had reservations. When we said no, she became extremely confrontational, told us they now require reservations (news to us), and basically showed us the door. No apology, no attempt to accommodate us, just rude and dismissive behavior on a special occasion. We left feeling humiliated and disrespected. After years of supporting this place, that's how they treat regular customers? Absolutely unacceptable. This was our last visit, we will never be back and can't recommend anyone else waste their time or money here. Plenty of other restaurants in town know how to treat people with basic courtesy.

All that's left of my Henderson roll when I remembered to take a photo. The roll was great, the fresh wasabi took it over the top.

The freshest sushi in town! Everything we had was top-notch, super fresh, beautifully plated, and generous portions. The fish-to-rice ratio was spot on! This place is consistently reliable and great! We tried the Henderson Special, halibut and salmon nigiri, salmon roll, and sweet shrimp -- all incredible. But the real game-changer? The fresh wasabi. OMG... yummy doesn't even begin to cover it. Huge shoutout to James at the sushi bar! Next time we are trying the James special bluefin tuna salad, we saw someone else order and it looked incredible!

Love this place so much. Unassuming when you enter, it is the food which really shines here. Some of the freshest and well plated sushi I have found. Everything was delicious. The staff is super willing to answer any questions or substitute at your request. Definitely going back.

Food: shrimp tempura rolls, white tuna paradise, yellowtail with yuzu, dragon roll, hamachi roll, spicy tuna roll. All the rolls were tasty. My DD really liked the shrimp tempura rolls. We didn't care for the white tuna paradise one. I think we would come back to try the more traditional nigiri sushi at the bar next time and see how that is. Service: attentive and friendly. Ambiance: it's a small place and has a sushi bar.

This place ALWAYS k iccks it out of the park, with their excellent customer service, excellent sushi, and all around kindness. They're a true gem in this part of town. The food comes out fast, it's super fresh, and you'll never leave hungry.

Toro sushi is our neighborhood "sushi go-to" place. We've been regulars since they opened during Covid. Jin, sushi chef, is always friendly, welcoming, and offers the best & freshest products. Inside is a small sushi bar with a few tables. Large party of plus 10 would be a tight squeeze. The day's specials are listed on a small chalkboard. So I ordered 4 from the board- Chutoro, blue fin tuna, seared spicy blue fin, & salmon belly. Jin promptly prepared & served. The fish:rice portion is good with a dab of fresh wasabi on top. My wife & I devoured it quickly. The fatty tuna melts in the mouth with its rich chewy texture & palate satisfying sweetness. The same is true with the rests of the sushi. Hamachi Kama, grilled tuna collar, is a staple with my wife. Consider it the filet mignon of fish. Deliciously tender dipped in the ponzu sauce. The udon was piping hot-yet doesn't scald your mouth & pairs well with the broiled fish specially this cold season. Did I mention that the price & quality of the fish here is unbeatable? Go visit this place & order from "today's specials!"

Yowza! I can understand why people really like this place. Even though it's a bit small, the service is amazing and the food is even better. We strolled in around 6pm on a Saturday and I think we were lucky to beat the crowd. We were seated right away and there were plenty of seats available. In the next 15 min, there would be a steady grouping of people waiting to sit around the front door. The decor is cute, with the classic sushi counter available to sit at. I liked how clean and nice smelling the bathroom was. We sat in the back by the kitchen and bathroom, something I usually get offended by, especially when there were almost all seats in the front of the restaurant open but I think they were just doing what planes should do, back to front. The service here really shines. You will never have an empty drink glass and they do such a good job making sure to keep your small table clear, especially if you order a lot at once, like we did. Everyone was super friendly to us, it felt like I knew them for a long time. You know what else really shines? The food. So fresh, so yummy! The highlights for me were the rice-less rolls. These were seriously like the fancy sashimi you get in very, very expensive restaurants but for half the price. I also was obsessed with the spicy garlic edamame, so much so I completely forgot to even take a pic of it, just dug right in. Don't worry that this isn't an AYCE place or that the menu is a bit smaller. The focus on quality and freshness here. It's worth it.

This is a great family Japanese restaurant. Large generous servings, tasty food and friendly service team. Sushi and sashimi quality is very good, not the best but anyone who knows and eats sushi on a regular basis will appreciate the quality of the sushi items and the presentation. The chicken and beef teriyaki are some of our favorites.

Sushi dinner. 7 piece chefs choice and a roll. Not pictured is the salad and miso soup.

Love coming here. Feels like a local gem. The quality of fish as well as service is amazing. This small establishment makes you feel welcome and cozy.

This is my go-to place for a Japanese lunch...their spicy garlic edamame is great according to my husband; we also ordered the lunch special and they were good and filling. Service was spot on, water filled and was asked how the food was. Ambiance is good, clean and welcoming. As I said before, my go-to for Japanese food!

We sat at the bar, only one other couple there, and maybe 2 other customers in booths. The owner snapped at the person who sat us we weren't sure why and felt maybe we weren't supposed to be seated at the bar. We were greeted by a young server very nice, smiling, welcoming. I ordered a Orion beer, wife had a green tea. Wife ordered some plates. They came quickly. My wife was so excited to try this restaurant, so she ordered and I ate. Everything was incredible. The sashimi , sushi, all melted in your mouth. So many different flavors with each plate. Not over powering sauces which most places do to hide the low quality of fish. Not here each piece was a culinary deliciousness of flavor. The rolls are not typical all rice little filling. The rice enhanced the filling. No need to use soy sauce! The ginger they supply was so fresh we had 4 servings of it. The restaurant is a 50s style diner, but it doesn't matter what the place looked like with this incredible food. We've NEVER had sushi like this. It's expensive, but you are paying for Japan quality sushi. With all the sushi spots and AYCE places I see why it was so slow. I asked if it gets busy, and was given a few jokingly sarcastic answers from I think owner, which was ok cause I joked back and he got it. If you want the experience of going to a master sushi chef restaurant in Japan, go to Tokyo Boys. You'll pay for a great experience. We hope when we come back to Henderson to return!

The noodles were nicely cooked and the tempura also had a nice crunch Green tea fried ice cream 10/10! Def the best part of the meal. It was warm on the outside and cold on the inside. Fifteen years later and I still love this place!…read more I've been dining at I Love Sushi for over 15 years, and it truly never disappoints. It's one of those restaurants that has become a tradition for our family, and every time we visit we're reminded why it's always packed. There has been a recent change in ownership, and they now offer an all-you-can-eat menu. I'll admit I was hesitant at first because sometimes AYCE sushi can mean sacrificing quality. Thankfully that is not the case here at all. The quality is just as good as it's always been. We started with the garlic edamame, which is always a great way to kick things off. From there we ordered steamed gyoza, yellowtail, yuzu salmon sushi, and then took advantage of one of the best parts of the all-you-can-eat menu... you can order half rolls. This makes it so easy to try a variety of different rolls without committing to full ones. That said, the one roll I will never order as a half is the Flower Roll. It's been my favorite here for years and is an absolute must every time we visit. Our waitress also recommended trying the Irish Roll, which was new to us and ended up being excellent. We'll definitely be ordering that again. We also tried a half Candy Cane Roll, which was another great option. One of the reasons we keep coming back, beyond the food, is the service. Because we've been coming here for so long, the staff recognizes us and they are always incredibly kind and welcoming. It really adds to the experience. This restaurant is almost always packed, and there's a very good reason for that. The food is consistently great and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. A couple other menu items worth mentioning: The Joe Special is fantastic (even though we didn't order it this visit), and my daughter always loves the Niku Udon noodles. After 15+ years, I Love Sushi is still a five-star experience for us, and it's a place we always look forward to visiting with family and friends.

The rice was wet and mushy. I requested pan fried gyoza and they deep-fried them. The udon was horrible.
