My hubby & I love Japanese food- especially if it's AYCE! So we decided to try Tengoku. It's a cute little spot with an anime theme that makes for a fun & unique vibe. The atmosphere was clean, quiet & welcoming with music softly playing overhead. The servers, Trinh & Tina were excellent from start to finish. They were attentive & made sure our food kept coming. They also made great suggestions for us which is always helpful; since there's so many items to choose from. So I'm sure there is something for everyone here guys! Everything we ordered was fresh & flavorful. The yuzu salmon was one of my favorites, the salmon was really fresh & buttery. Have you eaten here?! No?! Well you need to. This place has such killer food. If I could afford to, I'd eat here at least 4 days aweek. The flavors just explode in your mouth. They aren't dishing out small rolls either. They make sure you get a full belly. Come eat here ! Worth it ! Service is usually always on point. Sometimes it lacks but only cause it gets so busy. I don't do AYCE sushi places often but this place was great! I think it's 30.99 per person. We were seated quickly at 5pm on a Saturday. The service was good! They were attentive, cleared plates and took our orders frequently. I really enjoyed the salmon and yellowtail nigiri which are my go-tos. Their dynamite side was also different from anything I've tried before and I really liked it. It was light and had great flavor. The cucumber salad was a little too sweet and premade so they couldn't adjust it but other than that we enjoyed ourselves and were completely stuffed by the end. It was the 1st time my family ate there and it could've been better. It's a small and clean restaurant. The employees were very nice. Food was awesome but it took a while for it to come out. The wait to order more sushi also took a while so my family got full quickly. It's not worth the price due to that. I understand that they have fewer employees than the bigger restaurants but if we are paying the price like the bigger restaurants, we should be able to eat our monies worth. I visited Tengoku for lunch while my car was getting worked on across the street and there was only one other table dining. The ambiance was very calm. To my surprise the restaurant filled quickly for lunch, they do have a great lunch special. The sushi was my favorite part, it was soft, creamy and delicious. Service was quick and my server was very attentive, refiling my water often. I recommend visiting for lunch for sure. read more

I absolutely love Tengoku! It's my go-to in Vegas! I love cucumber wrapped sushi and it's hard to find good cucumber wrapped rolls. But Tengoku has two: The Johnny and the Rock and Roll! I also love their deep fried Oreo on vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of chocolate sauce for dessert. The Oreo batter is like a light tempura batter...so yum! I also usually get the miso soup, appetizer tempura and milk tea Boba drink. I've also started recently ordering it on the food apps and it comes package really well for transport. I really enjoyed Tengoku. Even though I didn't take pictures of the food (because I was on a first date and that would've been awkward LOL), everything was presented nicely, and tasted so so good. The flavors were amazing, and everything was well-prepared. All of the fish tasted fresh and the amount of rice to accompany the nigiri was perfect, too. The baked green mussels were YUMMY, and usually I'm picky with mine. The servers were kind and very attentive. The server was also very knowledgeable and made pretty good recommendations when we told him our preference. I was expecting the place to be a little bit bigger, but it was cute. This is the second time I've been to this place for the all you can eat menu. The first time I came in, I was running a little bit short on time so it wasn't as great of an experience as it could have been but that's on me. The second time I went with my sister and we happily both enjoyed much more time enjoying items off the all-you-can-eat menu. I am a sucker for agadashi tofu, so I ordered two of those as well as smattering of Nigiri. Yellow tail is almost always one of my go to and it was great. My sister was excited to be able to order softshell crab, however you're only allowed to order one of those. But since we both got all you can eat I was allowed to order one for myself and give it to her so she could have two! She absolutely loved it and said it was one of the best ones she's eaten. The stuffed mushroom cap was also delicious and I ordered two of those as well except my stomach was getting a bit annoyed with me after a while because I thought I could fit more in there lol I did not care for the kalbi short ribs surprisingly. I felt like they could've been cooked longer and with more flavor, but that's OK because I go there for sushi anyway so it was worth a try. The interior of this place is super cute, very cozy, and a place I would like to be a regular at. I love this as a spot to go hang out with my sister and unashamedly chow down like the hungry little caterpillar that I am. I think this is the best AYCE sushi in Vegas! The prices are good and I love their yuzu salmon and yuzu yellowtail! I recommend getting a hamachi kama or a salmon kama when you go! Date night- this is not our regular sushi spot but we were in the area and they had great reviews! We got there and they weren't busy but we did notice they had a lot of pick up orders so they were "busy". The gentleman helping us was welcoming and it was a chill vibe vs a crazy busy place which I enjoyed. The food was great- most the food we ordered was a hit! My favorite here was the Yuzu yellowtail and the Spicy Tuna Crunch rice and Spicy Crab Crunch rice. Their Super white tuna was a hit for me also- not so much for the husband. I was very excited to try this place out as it replaced a previous favorite of mine in the same location. The buzz surrounding it grew my eagerness to stop by as well. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see the complete restyling inside and it made me feel very much like I was at a fun little shop in Tokyo. The stuff greeted us immediately and was very friendly. Saw an ad on fb for this spot so we decided to try it out. It is a tiny place but luckily we didn't have to wait. A huge party of 8 came in Right before us. I was worried about service but it was fine. Friendly staff gave recommendations as well. A few no rice rolls for me along with appetizers I could eat. Most rolls could be order a 1/2 which is nice. We visited earlier today and really wanted to like this place. When we first arrived, it was empty, and shortly after, more customers started coming in. Our waitress brought our first order and then went to attend to the other tables, which is completely understandable. However, after that, she never came back to check on us. We waited over 30 minutes just for her to approach our table to see if we wanted to order anything else or needed refills. During that time, she was very attentive to the other tables around us, but unfortunately not to ours. It was disappointing because the food itself wasn't bad, but the service really affected our overall experience. A friend of mine picked this place for a new dinner spot. I really didn't know much about this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. Having a dairy allergy and not liking fish I found myself hesitant to do the all you can eat menu. The great waiter we had made a few suggestions and many rolls later I was stuffed. I've eaten here multiple times and have always enjoyed my experience. Yes, this is on the list to go back to. Two sushi chefs, one waitress for lunch. They had a lot of Togo orders during our 90min all you can eat. We arrived right around 3 (end of lunch) but our waitress said we could do lunch or dinner. Quite nice. We decided on dinner for sashimi options on the menu. The cherry blossoms soft shell crab sashimi was tasty and crunchy. It had avocado so it must of been healthy. Overall the fish was fresh. The salmon and yellow tail collars were cooked perfectly and had a lot of meat. There was a large menu and it was good service. Free refills on several drinks and the lemonade as well as iced green tea was tasty. Several options for your 1 dessert too. The melon bar was great. Digital recording of orders placed with the waitress worked 95% of the time. The music was good and not too loud. 90s-2000s rock /alternative. One bathroom very clean. If they had uni or toro even for an up charge I would have paid for it. read more

We made a reservation for 6 PM for a table of 10, a week prior. When we arrived a few minutes EARLY, they had given our table away, literally to a group right in front of us. We ended up waiting outside in the cold for an ENTIRE 1.5 HOURS!!!!! Restaurant is smaller, so they don't have the space to accommodate another larger-ish group. Restaurant was kind to give us some complimentary alcohol. That made us feel a little bit better. Still, it's kind of insane that we made a reservation 1 week prior, arrived at the restaurant a few minutes early, had the table given away, and then made to wait 1 hour. Reason for the 2 stars, is ultimately because they kept missing some orders while we were eating!!!! That is unacceptable. This happened quite a few times. I would ask for a certain item, they would "put in the order," and then it would literally not come out. I asked for it again, and yet it did not come out. That is actually UNACCEPTABLE from an all-you-can-eat spot. Food- not bad! I enjoyed their salmon nigiri, and their seared salmon. But then again, they didn't bring out all the food!!! Oh well... Conclusion: Staff was reasonably apologetic for the reservation mishap, and free alcohol made it a little better. Food was not bad, pretty standard for an AYCE sushi spot! I love the yuzu salmon nigiri here and the selection of appetizers. This is our go to AYCE sushi spot. The service at lunch is amazing and super quick. Dinner can be a bit busier and take a while to come back to order more, but we combat this by just ordering a bunch upfront. We always just do nigiri and appetizers to get the most of our money. $26 for lunch and $31 for dinner. read more
