    Popcorn Chicken
    Riley T.

The broth was amazing, the flavor was very deep and salty as any good ramen should be. Noodles were bouncy and chewy as well. The half marinated egg though was slightly overcooked and was not the runny egg you'd usually expect but despite that it was still tasty. The popcorn chicken was probably the best I've ever had at any ramen spot. The coating was soft but still had a satisfying crunch behind it, the sauce oh my god was insanely delicious. Service as fast once seated but was discombobulated when I first walked in, multiple servers asked me if I've been helped but didn't help me until 10 minutes after I walked in.

This place is super fun with its layout and fun lights. I'm working my way through the menu. First time was apps and today was oumrice with jelly dessert, boba milk tea and beef chicken ramen. Super fun concept of slurps to find a prize! We had one lucky winner for chicken!

If anyone gives this place a bad review I'd be shocked. 5/5, 10/10, 1000/1000!! Every last bite was delectable and the restaurant is ADORABLE!! The service was beyond A+ and every decoration and table setting felt completely authentic. Can't wait to go back!

Incredible restaurant. I went for the ramen but this place offered so much more. First off, the food was not salty, or excessively salty, I should say, which is the only reason I don't eat ramen frequently. The ramen here was just right! It was flavorful chicken broth and the appetizers were all delicious. The curry was amazing, and so was the green tea dessert. Not too sweet. Just right. I will be returning to try even more of the dishes on their menu, and I hope to snag a cute table. We came in without a reservation and were able to sit at their bar, which was also a very cozy space. The waiters were professional and efficient. We ordered right away and the food didn't take very long even though they were quite busy. The place is beautiful inside and it really feels like a unique dining experience. I am so excited to have this new Japanese restaurant on Eastern. We've lost some delicious ones near the Anthem area, and this one is up there in quality and taste. Definitely worth it. Prices aren't excessive and the options are numerous. I can't wait to return.

BEST RAMEN I'VE EVER HAD IN VEGAS! My cousin took me, my brother, and our nieces here after a pickleball session. We were seated right away. The place is nothing like i've ever seen before. Their booth pods are so unique and the seating is very widely shaped. The service was great. Our waiter answered any of our questions. I ordered the Curry Ramen with chashu. They brought me out the Curry Ramen with tonkatsu but they were able to bring me another ramen when I told them it was the wrong order, no complaints! My niece got the tonkatsu omurice and the omurice was so good! I hope to go back soon and try more of their delicious looking food!

Takoyaki Octopus Balls, Yakitori Platter, YingYang Bowl, Mega Ramen & Coconut Smoothie.

I loved the modern vibe and stylish Japanese-inspired décor of this restaurant. My family and I came here for dinner and started with a couple of appetizers: Takoyaki Octopus Balls topped with bonito flakes, aonori, mayo, and teriyaki sauce, along with the Yakitori Platter featuring five skewers--Negima (chicken), Gyu Harami (beef), Butabara (pork belly), fried tofu, and zucchini. For our entrées, my hubby ordered the YingYang Bowl with Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, Sapporo Miso Ramen, served with Braised Pork, Chashu Pork, Shrimp Tempura, Half Marinated Egg, Bamboo Shoots, Corn, Zucchini, and Scallions. While my daughter and I both had the Mega Ramen with Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, Sapporo Miso Ramen, served with Braised Pork, Chashu Pork, Shrimp Tempura, Half Marinated Egg, Bamboo Shoots, Corn, Zucchini, and Scallions. Overall, the appetizers and ramen were flavorful and good. Before we left, my hubby ordered a Coconut Smoothie with Boba to go from Tbaar. The smoothie tasted more like a blend of their milk tea and milk foam drinks rather than a traditional smoothie.

I'm a big fan of this place! Unique interior, attentive service, and great food! Got there on a Friday at 12:30pm and got seated right away. Tonkatsu omurice combo with matcha pudding (5/5) - generous portion and delicious! Both my friend and I felt like we could use a bit more sauce. We tried both demi glace and curry sauce and I preferred demi glace but they were both good. Tonkatsu was also good. Told our server we'd like our matcha pudding to go and they packed it up nicely. Grapefruit tea with aloe (5/5) - with 25% ice and 50% sugar. It was very refreshing! Can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu!

The restaurant was quiet when I walked in but I was immediately greeted. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was just myself for lunch so I ordered the spring rolls to start. It was ok, the filling was a little lacking but the crisp on the spring roll was very nice. Im trying to cut back on pork consumption so I opted for the chicken bao bun also as a starter. I like it- I wouldn't have mind bun being slightly softer. Oh I forgot to mention. This was a combo on the menu. Ramen, bao bun and a Thai tea. I'd like to say it was $23 for the combo. I thought the chicken ramen was just what I wanted. A light broth medium noodles, and tradition ramen toppings. It was a lot of food for just one-so I needed boxes to go. My server was super sweet to make a new Thai tea togo. I'd say this a great place to come with your family for a casual lunch day out.

Ramen 4/5 lots of toppings, great option with half and half bowl to try different flavors Rice 3/5 the dish idea is pretty cool for the video, but it came out not hot, and became cold really quick. Service 3/5 busy, not attentive but efficient enough Ambiance 4/5 cute place with unique seatings. We just got a regular table

Trying to knock off some of my list in Vegas Headed out for my birthday lunch at KyuRamen, tucked in Henderson. First off, I love the aesthetics. It has that modern Japanese vibe with these pod-style seats that kind of remind me of a beehive (in the cutest way). They even have one of those Japanese wishing trees where you can leave notes such a cute touch I went with the tonkotsu shoyu ramen and it did not disappoint. Super creamy, rich broth with that deep black garlic flavor classic but still felt unique in its own way. Definitely hit the spot. Safe to say I'll be back

Best ramen in town. Definitely order ramen #6 and their lemonade
    Charmaine C.

Delicious ramen and lemonade. Worth waiting 1hr. Great service. Thanks Jerry. The restaurant is designed like you are in Japan. Ambiance spectacular. Highly recommend to do the combo (dessert, drink and appetizer). The best ramen is #6. It is hard to find parking.

This is a nicely designed restaurant with a cool Japan-themed vibe. Ramen is the main menu item, and we tried two different bowls: Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen ($16.99) and the Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen ($17.99). The noodles had a good texture. The soup started out okay, but as I got through the bowl, it seemed to get saltier and saltier, especially once the noodles were gone. It became a bit much by the end. One fun detail: make sure you finish your broth and check the bottom of the bowl! Apparently, you can win a free meal if your bowl is marked "Free". Overall, it was a decent experience, but the flavors didn't quite wow me enough to visit again.

Stopped by for dinner and the ambiance and decor is beautiful. They have tables up a stairs. Not quite a 2nd Floor but cute and interesting. Our server was Valerie and she was very friendly. When I placed my order I mentioned that I don't want my Tempura in my Ramen to have it on the side because I don't want it mushy and wet. She said ok she will tell the cooks and mind you, there's no alteration to the menu or how it's prepared. Well she made it right because the kitchen put the Tempura in the soup. She brought me another Tempura. Yay!!! Definitely 5+++ Stars for her response. Food: Ying Yang Ramen Spciy Chili Cucumber And my family had the following; Classic Japanese Omurice, Miso Ramen, Bao Bun, spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and Beef Rice Bowl. I was not a fan of the spicy tonkotsu broth however I did enjoy the shoyu broth. I also loved the chashu pork. It was so tender. I did also enjoy the omurice which was flavorful and great presentation. Lastly, the Beef Rice was also a hit. The meat was so tender. Overall, great spot and nice workers.

I was greeted right away by the lovely Jay. She took my drink order and let me look over the menu. Then, I saw it , Tsukemen ramen. My favorite ramen dish ever! I ordered the soft shell crab as an appetizer. It arrived quickly and looked amazing. The soft shell crab was absolutely delicious. The sauces were exactly what I wanted , sweet, creamy and spicy. The Tsukemen flavors were off the charts. The pork chashu was grilled and had an awesome char flavor. The soy 6min egg was so good and the kimchi was fresh , sweet and perfectly spicy. The dipping broth was also beyond good. I wondered if this was the best thing on the menu. I saw other diners looking at my table. This happens a lot, when I eat Tsukemen. I think it's not a common order for most people. Can't wait to go back and this again next time I'm in town.

I've waited so long to say: oooh, my!…read more Umai Ramen is a Henderson spot that surprisingly dates to pre-pandemic times. Located somewhere in a sprawling Stephanie plaza between Ross and Hobby Lobby, it's somehow managed to survive despite being on hardly anyone's radar. Initially, I had eyes on a salmon app, but I eventually read enough of the menu to notice the Orange Salmon ($13.99), apparently classified as a no-rice roll or something. This is indeed a rendition of a certain famous "new" sashimi-style dish with salmon slices paired with orange slices and an umami dressing. It doesn't super evoke the awe and nostalgia of the original version I had, maybe lacking some orange punch and also using larger but lower quality salmon sashimi cuts. Fortunately, the presence of all the sauces, orange wedges, and microgreens bestows enough flavor to cover for that issue. I also found a more interesting option than a hot bowl of soup in their menu. The Black Garlic Mazemen ($14.99) is a sauced bowl of kale noodles (yep, they're green) with spicy ground pork, chashu, and some sort of mixed greens. It is served hot, so it isn't as much of a relief during the summer, but you can mostly handle it without a spoon. The noodles are coated with that luscious, perhaps under-described sauce that didn't really speak "yuzu" to me. The ground pork doesn't make the whole thing too spicy, and the thin chashu slices are nicely caramelized and tender. I was quite happy with the dish and would order it again as soon as tomorrow. Umai Ramen is really a hidden gem. I can't speak for their regular ramen menu, but I had some very nice dishes here tonight and suggest that anyone else in Henderson who's overlooked them make a stop for either lunch or dinner.

I had some favorite ramen shops in Philly that I still think are stellar, but the one thing they were missing was this minced pork. I will add that **** to EVERY kind of ramen bowl! I must have been a cat in a past life because I am obsessed with bonito fish flakes and you can never put too many of those on top. The only thing I struggle with is the fact that I feel guilty eating octopus, so I don't order takoyaki as often as I used to. The service is friendly and the beer is cold. The Ultimate Ramen, despite its name, was underwhelming -- mediocre at best, lacking the depth and richness you'd expect from a bowl with that kind of billing. The sushi rolls were equally disappointing. Both the California Roll and the Philly Roll suffered from bland, flavorless rice -- the foundation of any good sushi. The sweetness and tanginess that should come through in well-seasoned sushi rice were completely absent. The Philly Roll was especially let down by the cream cheese, which had virtually no taste and added nothing to the roll. Even the wasabi lacked any real heat or pungency, which honestly surprised me the most. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was working the floor entirely on her own and still managed to be attentive and pleasant throughout. That kind of dedication deserves recognition. Overall, the kitchen needs to revisit its seasoning and flavor profiles across the board. With some attention to the basics properly seasoned rice, quality ingredients, and bold condiments, this place could be so much better. For now, it's hard to recommend.

The beef is great. it's fatty and has connective silverskin still attached; it's like the best part of the tendinous shank. Other than that there's the perfectly cooked, bouncy knife shaved noodles, and a couple of leaves of crunchy blanched bok choy. (5/5) Beef Pancake ($9.75) - I thought these would be dry like shao bing (I have never had 餡餅 before) but construction took us totally by surprised. The beef pancakes are almost like a flatter, beef version of sheng jian bao, complete with juicy beef aspic. The wrapper is chewy and thinner than a typical SJB, but works well here; it's not thin enough to cause holes that leak juice out. The meatball inside is beefy and flavorful, albeit not as tender as a typical pork meatball. The taste of both the juice and beef are very allium forward and full of umami. (5/5) Dan Dan Noodle, Hand Pulled Noodle ($13.97) - The topping is a cold meat and preserved veggie mixture, minced finely until very tender and soft. It's combined with plenty of sesame paste and peanuts, giving an overwhelming nuttiness. The noodles, in this case the hand pulled one, work exceptionally well, being perfectly cooked and staying the same bouncy consistency throughout the meal. My experience with the hand pulled noodles in broth at the other Shang location was that the noodles got too soft only ten or fifteen minutes sitting in the broth. I would definitely get hand pulled only with dry dishes. On the bottom of this dish is a really spicy sauce, both in heat and mala numbness. It's very fragrant and lemony even through there's not much red color. The dish as a whole is far more spicy overall than the Spicy Beef Noodle. (5/5) The portions Shang Artisan Noodle serves are huge. We hiked Angels Landing before eating dinner here and we were only able to finish about half our meal. Shang Artisan Noodle serves some really great noodle dishes. There's a reason we keep coming back for more! Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for women, one for men
