4.5/5 stars Tried Smokin' Sammich for the first time and went with the brisket combo. The brisket was really tender and had great flavor, along with their bbq sauces, and the lumpia (egg roll) was freshly cooked also very good. Service was nice and food came out in a timely manner, and the restaurant itself was clean with plenty of seating. The combo was around $18, which I thought was a pretty reasonable price for the portion. My only minor suggestion would be with the combo setup. It comes with both rice and pancit along with the brisket and lumpia. I think it would work even better if you could choose either rice or pancit and then add one of their other side dishes instead. Having the two carbs together made the meal feel a little dry. Overall though, I enjoyed the food and would definitely come back to try some of their sandwiches as they have a nice sandwich bar! read more

I don't know much as I ordered to go. I got a pound of pastrami with some pork rinds. Let me tell you... I ate the entire pound in one sitting. Made a simple sandwich and it was soooooo good. Hubby just got off work and was getting hungry so we started searching for a place to eat and found this place. What a hidden gem!!! I wish I could keep this place my little secret but it's too good to keep. The food is FANTASTIC! You can feel the love that was put into the food here. It's hard to find a place whose food reminds me of my dad's cooking. My dad was the BEST chef in the world!! It's hard to find anyone who could come close. Chef Larry, did just that!! His food brought me back to my childhood. If you are looking for a taste of comfort, look no further...this is the spot. We ordered the Smokin Luau, which was a little bit of everything. All the items were on point!! Chicken lumpia...whaaa?? There's not too many people who serve chicken lumpia!!! This alone is a win! The pancit was yummy, chicken Katsu, oh my! Bbq Pork...I don't even eat pork but I did today AND that's what brought me back to my childhood. It was such a good memory. This will probably be the only place I will eat pork, it's that good!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! This place is a mixture of Asian Hawaiian and American BBQ all together. Service was outstanding and the Ambiance is very casual. Dining room and bathrooms were very clean. But the food I was so impressed. I got a beef brisket with Mac and cheese on top and it was a chefs kiss. I ate the whole sandwich. I got my husband a beef brisket, sausage, and pork belly sandwich and I cut a piece off to try it. And oh wow delicious. I bbq sauce was put on the side and I think I could drink it. Very good flavor. We got my son a chicken Katsu sandwich and he really liked it as well. I did get some pork and chicken spring rolls and they were ok but super small. Not worth the price in my opinion. They do have some meat and rice bowls which I'm sure we will go back and try them in the future. We discovered this place totally randomly! You walk up to the window to order. I will say that several items were out of stock on the day that we went which was a bit of a bummer for my friend, but our service was made up for by the incredibly staff who talked to us and helped us through our order. I loved my smoked brisket bowl, spring roll (which was closer to me to lumpia) and the low mein. The food is served with some Filipino flair, which I always appreciate! It's a casual restaurant, and it was quiet inside. I would definitely recommend trying out trying Smokin Sammich if you like BBQ, or Asian fusion food! I was in the area and decided to try something new and I'm sooo glad I did. I got the teriyaki bowl and added brisket with rice and noodles. OMGGGG! I might just double back and go again today. This was sooo good. The brisket was some of the most moist brisket I've ever had. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Okay, let me tell you something. I just had one of those life-changing meals. I mean, everything looked good, but I really did not know what to expect. It smelled heavenly, but the real magic happened when I put the fork in the bunch! Smokin' Sammich Is one of those places that's tucked in the back of a shopping center. I had read about this place online, saw some Instagram posts about it and decided it was about time for me to try it for myself. This is not one of those quick little snack places, this is when you are seriously hungry and need something to keep the wolf from the door. Everything looked so amazing on the menu, I really didn't know what to do. I opted for the bowl with noodles and rice, brisket, I paid extra to have the side of grilled pork belly, and it also came with a couple of egg rolls. I jumped into the egg rolls first, they were so good. At first I was a little put off because they seem so small, but in this case big things come in small packages! Packages! And the dipping sauce for the rolls, top notch! I had to use a lot of restraint, because I wanted to dig right in, but I wanted to taste the meat on its own, as that is the mark of a really good barbecue. I'll just say this, I would put this meat up against anyone in a competition! The brisket was fall apart tender, had great bark on it, and had just the right amount of smoke. It was still moist, and so flavorful. The pork belly was absolutely amazing. Like the brisket had great bark on it but was tender, and juicy on the inside. All I could think about while I was eating it was how awesome it would be on a cheeseburger. Let's talk about the rice and noodles. Most bowls use rice and or noodles as an afterthought. More of just a base to lay the meat on. Not this place. The rice was some of the best I've ever had. Had just the right amount of stickiness, and definitely tasted like it was just fresh cooked then and there. Same thing with the noodles. Absolutely flavorful and a great side dish. Okay, let's talk sauce. I brought home some of the spicy barbecue, as I like a little bit of heat with my sauce. And this one delivers in spades! Super delicious. Had just the right amount of heat at the back of my throat, and really complimented the meat without overpowering it. You could put this on the pork belly, the brisket or an old shoe.. anything would taste good with this sauce! Since I had rice, I knew I was going to want some of their teriyaki sauce. Wow! Just wow! You can tell this is not out of a jug from Costco. This stuff is homemade right there! Much like the spicy barbecue sauce, this had a little bit of a surprise kick to it. Definitely not overpowering and was an absolute joy to put on the rice and the noodles! Bottom line? This is going to be my go-to sandwich place for the rest of my life. Wow! This place is so good that I came back the next day to order another bowl. The first time I tried this place, I ordered the chopped brisket smoking size with double pancit and lumpia. It also included a lemon for the pancit and sweet and sour sauce for the lumpia. They also have a condiment bar where you can also add bbq sauce or other sauces to your meal. The second day I had to come back and try the pastrami bowl with double pancit and lumpia (the lumpia and sauce not pictured on the pastrami bowl cause I took it to-go so it was in the bag). Both of the bowls tasted AMAZING!! The brisket was soft and juicy, and the pastrami was also tender and flavorful. They were both so good. The pancit in the bowls also tastes amazing. Probably the best tasting pancit so far in Vegas. The concept here of BBQ and Filipino food was such a good idea. I love that the portions are very generous! It's definitely worth the price. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the food items on their menu. The guy at the front taking orders was also very sweet and kind. I highly recommend this place if you haven't been. Smoking' Sammich is an excellent restaurant located in Henderson on Serene and Spencer. You'll find them near Dutch Bros Coffee, next to Pho Saigonese and Don Tortaco Mexican Grill. There's limited parking in the front, but you'll see additional space on the side of the restaurant. Inside is clean and spacious with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is pretty chill and laid back, they were playing a genre mix of 80s and classic music, I was listening to "Have You Ever Seen The Rain," it's a nice song! Menu offers a great selection of smokin' sandwiches with choice of brisket, pastrami, pulled pork, sausage, corned beef, fried chicken breast, swai fried fish, tuna melt (albacore), side dish, as well as fantastic smokin' rice bowl options that comes with steamed rice, pancit noodles, lumpia, and choice of meat. I ordered a snack, chose potato salad and tater tots. The potato salad (small, $2.75) is pretty good! It has a nice consistency, cool and creamy, with fork tender potato chunks, so yummy! Tater tots ($3.50) are hot, fried golden crispy, and taste great with cold potato salad, it's delicious! There's a condiment bar where you can choose from a variety of toppings such as pepperoncini, pico de gallo, cherry peppers, yellow onions, banana peppers, pickle radish, green chile, sauerkraut, pealed carrots, jalapeños, pickled red onions, grilled onions and bell peppers, whole chili peppers, sliced pickles, and coleslaw. Smokin' Sammich, you were smokin' good! I was interested in trying out this new BBQ/sandwich (shall I call it sammich instead?) place located on Eastern and Serene near Silverado High School, and I'm very happy that I did! It's been open for quite some time now but it's still new to me. As I've stated in several of my previous reviews, I love anything that has tuna on it, so when I saw that they had the tuna melt, I immediately went for it. Plus I got myself a side of fries. Kyle ordered himself a smoked pulled pork with tater tots as his side. They were very quick in getting it ready and we chose to take our food back with us. The tuna melt was absolutely amazing! The cheese sprinkled on top made it more flavorful. Kyle also enjoyed his smoked pulled pork and tater tots. When I was starting to get full from my tuna melt (even though it was a reasonable size, it still filled me up), he offered to help me finish my fries. Tried this place today. Customer service was so friendly and helped with decision making. I was met with a smile which is rare these days. You order at the counter. The gentlemen that helped me suggested the pork egg rolls instead of chicken with my chicken Katsu. He did not disappoint. They were so good!! They were more like lumpia's to me than an egg rolls instead but still so good! The katsu was delicious as well. It's served with half rice and half noodles. Omg the noodles were the best! I will say the katsu sauce is a little ketchupy for my liking but still not bad. I'd definitely back here. Service was great. The places was clean and well managed. And the food was terrific. Had a fantastic meal & experience at Smokin' Sammich last night. This has to be one of the friendliest restaurants we've been to in Vegas. The cashier immediately greeted us and was eager to tell us about the menu since it was our 1st time. I opted for a rice bowl with chicken katsu and all rice. The chicken katsu was cooked perfectly; great crispy outside, juicy chicken inside. The spring rolls that come with the bowl were also fantastic. I also thoroughly enjoyed the tonkatsu sauce that came with my dish. It was a huge portion too and I ended up enjoying leftovers today for lunch. My husband got the chopped smoked pastrami sandwich with fries. He loved how flavorful the pastrami was and that it wasn't overly salted or fatty. The fries were also bangin'. While dining in, we had the pleasure of meeting both owners, Larry & Tim. These were just great fellas that radiated joy and seemed very prideful of their restaurant. It was great to learn that nearly everything is made on site. Larry even let us sample 2 flavors of their pork rinds that are made in house; BBQ & Plain. They were the best pork rinds we've ever had, so of course we left with a bag to take home :) The entire restaurant was also extremely clean as well as the restrooms. This is truly a gem of a spot. Saw the pics and reviews and decided to give it a try. Note they have two different sizes on the bowls, my photo is of the single and comes with 1 spring roll. The counter service was friendly and helpful. The single was certainly an ample size and the teriyaki chicken was fantastic. I also liked that they had a side bar with free accoutrements. We stopped in for dinner. Walked in and were greeted by a young man behind the counter. We had not been here before and he gave us a good overview of the menu. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and my wife did the pork Katsu. We also thought we should try the chili Mac and cheese with all the good reviews on it. The food was all very good. I wasn't sure about the hoagie style bun for the pastrami sandwich. It was very good. The young man at the county, I would guess is maybe the some of owners, did a great job making sure we were happy with our food and was just a great person to have at the counter. If he's not a family member he was a great hire. The restaurant itself was nice and comfortable. I did notice a few tables that were not cleaned. Famous Dave's is usually my go to for jalapeño cheddar sausage but their version blows it out the water. My wife and I always make it a point to stop into Smokin' Sammich when we are nearby! Their menu is unique, with a mix of standard BBQ and Filipino meats, but you can get anything as a Sammich or a Rice Bowl. This is great as I'm typically a BBQ sandwich and fries kinda guy and my wife loves any dish that comes with rice haha. Having been a few times, I can say the food quality is pretty solid, prices are reasonable, and the service is beyond friendly. The family and co-owner are so friendly, and you can tell that they take pride in what they do. Inside has comfortable seating, standard tables with paper towels for napkins, a few TV's and their self service soda and condiment bars. This brings me to the food. I've had the Pastrami, Brisket and Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage sandwiches on separate occasions. Of the three, I felt that the Jalapeño Cheddar sausage was a little on the small side and not quite spicy enough for my liking, but still enjoyable and having the condiment bar to spruce up your sandwich to your liking is great. The Brisket is by far my favorite, not fatty, good smoky flavor. If you're a fan of pork rinds, DO NOT leave without a bag of their house made rinds! They come in plain and BBQ, both are great, and some of the best fresh pork rinds I have found in Vegas. The restaurant is located in Silverado Ranch (same shopping center as Don Tortaco and Dutch Bros), it's very clean, and has plenty of seating for dine-in. Their menu consists of smoked, grilled, and fried meats - either as a sandwich or in a bowl. The bowls come with 2 spring rolls, steamed rice, and noodles plus your choice of meat. I ordered one with pork belly and one with chicken. Both meats were very tender and flavorful. You can tell that the meats are prepared fresh to order and so were the sides. The portion size is generous (I only ate half) and I have a pretty big appetite. I also ordered a hot link on the side, which was also very delicious. The chef/owner and staff were nice, friendly, and very enthusiastic about their offerings. I got a bag of chicharon to go for my afternoon snack too but I already started eating it before I even got my lunch. Overall, I had a great experience and I look forward to going again. read more
