I came in at night and it was pretty empty, which I liked. It was also really cool that there's a bar on the other side. The place itself was clean, cute, and I loved the wall paintings. The girl who took my order was very sweet and took the time to explain some of the menu options, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn't really win me over. The chicken katsu had fatty pieces that I ended up having to spit out. The teriyaki chicken was slightly better, but still had some fatty parts. On a positive note, I did enjoy the chili, and they give a generous amount of food for the price. Overall though, I don't think I'd come back.

Adobo omelette

All I tried was the pork adobo omelette as my homeboy said is was fire. It is not disappoint! Coming from Waipahu, HI where Elena's and Thelma's was my go to for dat adobo omelette. And for the price, it was a lot of food. Worth to check them out!

This is tucked away on S. Maryland Parkway at Windmill. There are plenty of seats if you want to dine in, also on the other side there is a separate bar area which i didn't visit. I walked in here for a simple small dinner. The fried chicken combo they have here is freshly cooked to order and has all the traditional sides like mac salad and rice. the meal also came with Chili, some of the best I've had. $15 filled me up the whole night. It was extremely satisfying.

Wonton Min

Stopped by today for Wonton Min. So nice for a warm morning, but chilly afternoon. Also, took a Furikake Salmon and crab musubi to go. Highly recommend to stop by for a bite.

Stopped by for lunch on my way to the airport and sure glad I did. The restaurant was clean, lots of options to choose from, friendly service and great food. I ordered the Katsu chicken plate with Mac and it was delicious. I'll be back if I'm in the area again. Thank you!

Kalua Pig and Cabbage bowl with a personal side of steamed purple yam

Late night bites bowl? 10/10 When you don't want eat that fast food junk and want something delicious & fresh, this is my go to spot after 10pm. 9 times out of 10 I'm always ordering Kalua Pig & Cabbage bowl, sometimes I'll order an pork adobo bowl but I usually have a sweet purple potato (Okinawan/Hawaiian sweet potato, if you really from Hawai'i then you know ‍) perfectly steamed by the time I make it back home to eat. Surprisingly enough, the staff & service is better than a fast food spot that late at night and they're 24 hours. It's just like home, familiar and warm ambiance through and through. Food is always hot & fresh even when it takes me like 8 minutes to get there to pick up my order. I'll never turn my back on Aloha Kitchen, you'll always have a loyal customer in me!

Used to come here ALL the time!! But idk recently it just hasn't been matching - the price and the food. Got charged $15 for a loco moco and it's the same size as the late night bites that are usually $7 or less. They used to be know for their cheap eats but bigger portions and now i feel like the cost raised but the quality lowered :( sad about it but i feel like I could get a bigger portion for less elsewhere. Bright side the eggs look so nice!

Great service and very clean inside. The employees are super nice and patient when ordering. We've come here multiple times already and we finally got to try their late night special menu. Everything on their special menu is $6 after 10pm that includes pork adobo, chicken teriyaki, chili, and Kalua pork with cabbage. We ordered the adobo, chili and kalua pork and they were all very good. Lots of flavor! The chili came out really hot as in temperature hot so you know it's fresh! We can't wait to come back and try them all.

What's going to the rice ratio?!?! I got myself a chicken barbecue obviously there's a lot of meat and you can tell they only gave you HALF! a cup of rice... it did give me an option if I wanted kimchi or a macaroni they gave me a big bowl of kimchi. Trying to eat was hard cause by the time I got the 6th piece of chicken. I'm already out of rice. And 90% of the chicken was still remaining and all this for $17. that's expensive. Came here because you guys are open til midnight or 1 in the morning an I love coming here to study... but inflation is killing. Everything coming here is too expensive. The service though everybody was very friendly!

Amazing food, big portions and so many choices. I can never decide between because everything is so good. My go to is either one of their breakfast plates (Portuguese sausage is my fav) or loco moco. If you go with others get the adobo fried rice omelet to share and then another dish. This time I tried the Hawaiian fried chicken and it was delicious. Light, crispy and tasty. The kalbi combo had so much one plate with everything tasting soooo good. I can never not order a spam musubi even if it's to go bit they actually have other musubi too that I didn't even see on the menu until after I ordered. Definitely ordering the next time.

Spam Musubi
Vincent G.

Genuinely enjoy coming here when I'm craving Hawaiian food. The adobo fried rice is solid and a pretty huge portion considering the price. The spam Musubi, however was just ok. The nori doesn't overlap when it's wrapped around, causing the rice to kind of spill out through the seam when you bite into it. Overall the ambiance inside is casual and kept clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Came in here with a hangover and I was hungry and needed something hearty and comforting. One look at the menu and I knew I was in the right place. There were so many items To choose from. I was greeted by a friendly staff member behind the counter who reminded me of my auntie, so I felt at home. The establishment is clean and the vibes are good, and the food is delicious and very familiar, like home cooking . Plenty of seating and spacious so bring some friends. I will be coming back to try the different plates they have but I will get the OxtAil soup again it's so good and comforting and really well prepared, the oxtail was really really tender. Peace.love. Aloha

Tempura combo, teriyaki combo, and the stir-fry veggies w/ chicken (extra veggies)

Me and my family decided to go out to eat. Aloha is an inviting and cozy place to eat with family and friends! Food is fresh and delicious I would recommend the Kalbi combo plate with the kimchi salad. Their stir-fried with chicken was also great! Karen served us today and she gave wonderful service! She was welcoming and quick with her work. I would definitely recommend this delicious and cozy restaurant.

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

A friend recommended we stop here for breakfast or lunch on our way to Zion, Utah. We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

It is a Wed night at 8:30pm and it had several tables full but we were still able to be seated right away. The place is hard to find so heads up! Look up pictures of the outside so you don't walk past it! It's a beautiful, cozy spot with an upscale feel and vibe. The playlist is amazing! Whomever curated this has incredible & varied music taste and it all works together! 90's R&B, Alternative, Grunge Rock, all of it so good! The menu has sections that you choose 2-4 items from and share with your table. We tried the Mushroom flatbread, the Pot Roast sandwich, the Beet Salad and the Grilled Oysters. The Grilled Oysters were not a favorite. However, I think that's just personal preference because of the style they are prepared in. We prefer our grilled oysters to be very charred and more of a buttery flavor. These are prepared in an Asian style and and more of a soft grill than a char. Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!

The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it.
