    Kalbi Combo Plate

Kalbi ribs, chicken Katsu, and Chicken Teriyaki were amazing! The ribs have to be my favorite! I like that the portion size was big! The lumpia is amazing too! Four stars instead of five because I paid extra for double mac portion and it was really gross. Warm and tasted like crab? I threw it out. Also, in my katsu I kept getting little pieces of bone? That was a little weird to me. But I will order from them again!

First time at this location. Awesome food.

Pretty good place. I thought it's was coming to Aloha Kitchen but it's OK it's a good place. Good size menu . Like those Shanghai Lumpia. Portuguese sausage was a different one that I'm use to. Don't know what the other one is but this one is OK. Great food good customers service. Cozy place.

I wanna like this place but 3 stars is good enough. Food is really good, I have to admit. Their chicken katsu was not thick with the fried battered. It just enough. Enjoyed the meats! We have the beef, chicken and Mac salad. All great. Plenty of parking in the front. We came on a Wednesday at noon and no issues with parking. Plenty of tables to pick from and enjoy their food in the restaurant. When we walked in, very strong cleaning smell. It's a good thing that the place is clean but threw us off a bit. Service was a bit unfriendly. What you want, you order, you pay and sit down until your name is called. Not much of inviting pleasantries for sure. Pricing is a bit higher than the other Hawaiian food spot off of Galleria. Urrrghh, would I return, not sure for this one. Maybe just for their late special as it's cheap per the door's advertisement. I can't complain if it's cheap then.

Stopped in for some lunch with a friend as we were craving Hawaiian food. I heard this was an Aloha Kitchen but changed its name. The inside decor was nice with all the bamboo deco and all the Honu (turtles) on the wall. The lady at the counter was nice and we placed our order. My friend had the bento plate and I had the island plate. My friend liked her plate, she enjoy the mahi mahi . My chicken katsu was good but I didn't care for the teriyaki chicken or the beef. The chicken was fatty and I think it was dusted with flour. The teriyaki beef was tough and chewy. There was also a gravy over both the chicken and beef that I didn't care for. I ate mostly the Mac salad with my side of kimchi, and the katsu. The rest I let my friend take home. Not my favorite place but I hope if you come here that you have a better experience. Njoy!

The food is delicious and the service is good, so I think I'll come here often. Also food came out fast too.

I had been wanting to try this place for a minute since it's next door to a Rubio's I frequent. I went last night and was immediately drawn to the tempura and teriyaki chicken combo. It was around $16 after tax. It came with white rice and a side of macaroni salad. I wish I had the option to sub the macaroni salad out for something else since I don't consume dairy, but no biggie. The tempura came with a dipping sauce that reminded me of dumpling sauce. Very tasty. The vegetable tempura was my fave because it was very flavorful and it was fried mixed veggies as opposed to just one vegetable. The chicken was good, but I wish the portions had been larger. The shrimp tempura was good too and what you would expect. I'll be back since the prices were good and there's more on the menu I want to try.

Always good always hot always good. One of my favorite go to spots for a filling meal and plenty to eat. Have been going to this spot for a while now, menu has plenty to offer plenty of drinks. Everything made fresh and always hot.

I really wanted to like this place bc I love supporting local and anyone that serves Hawaii style plate lunch / food. I ordered the beef stew, overall flavor was ok BUT $17 for 3 pcs of meat, 2 carrots & 1 potato just seems so wrong. The kalbi was extremely underwhelming as well, no flavor, not enough meat. Overpriced. This meal was a friendly reminder to just cook it at home.

Good food, but if you can't afford to give more than two hot sauce packages don't be in business.

It doesn't really matter because the food is good at both locations (this one is just slightly further than the other one is for us.) Wills makes me really nostalgic because this is what plate lunch tasted like when I was a kid, growing up in Hawaii. Don't get me wrong, the places with the new trends and flashy food are great but sometimes you just want good food and a memory and Wills will definitely give you that. I appreciate that they have sales a lot. I love when they do buy one, get one with musubi. If you're lucky they do this deal with the chicken musubi too (my husband doesn't eat pork.) The food may take a bit longer to come out but they make everything fresh. The serving sizes are large (even if you get a mini) for the price point and I love that. The shop itself is clean and the menu is nicely organized and easy to read.

We had around a 15-20 min wait for food which I never complain about, one thing to learn is if you want fresh and great quality food from a Hawaiian restaurant you gotta be patient. Our food was super fresh and hot when we received it. The portions are so filling! I was only able to finish half of my food. The beef is super flavorful as well as their bbq chicken. I'm not a Mac salad person but there's was the best I've ever had. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed this place I highly recommend!

No shade on the other Hawaiian spots, but this place just has superior food! This is one of those local spots that feels like your aunty from Hawaii made the food herself. Big portions, low prices simple recipes, and everything tastes fresh and comforting. Don't come here expecting aesthetically plated cuisine. This is where you go to GRUB if you are down for a mom&pop restaurant where the food tastes AMAZING. I keep going back for the Tomato Beef over rice but the Teriyaki Chicken is seriously next level. The chicken skin is crispy and the meat is juicy and tender. (Most places use dry chicken breast for teri chicken, but here it's flavorful and juicy!) The Kalua pork is great too, and the spicy Korean chicken isn't crazy spicy but it has a ton of flavor. Locals love it because the food is affordable, the portions are solid, and the chefs clearly take pride in what they're cooking. It really feels like a home style Hawaiian plate lunch. The service is good too! It's typically the same two girls working their butts off to deliver food and clear tables, so please remember to hook them up with a tip when you pay. They also advertise as a seafood grill, yet there were no seafood options during our visit. There's a $4 upcharge for lechon belly, but no other pork dishes were offered--no pork adobo, no lechon kawali. If you're charging extra for a premium item, there should at least be other standard pork options included. So instead of 20 dollars it was was $24 per person.  Drinks are not included in the $24 price. Overall, the food quality was mediocre and didn't justify the cost. There's an automatic service charge of 18% for a party of plus an additional 3% credit card fee. We don't mind paying more for good food and a satisfying experience, but this just didn't deliver.
