Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Mackenzie M.

I am extremely disappointment regarding a recent pickup order from Blue Orchid. I ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, this was my favorite dish from them, however my experience today changed that. I placed an online order and specifically requested no crispy wonton skins due to a wheat allergy. I also paid an additional $6.00 for an extra side of chicken. While I appreciated the manager calling me to confirm these details and asking if I wanted the extra chicken on the side--to which I said yes--the instructions were not followed. When I arrived home, the extra chicken was not on the side. They did manage to leave the crispy wonton skins off, but that was the only thing that they got right . When I called to clarify, the same manager informed me that the cook had simply added the extra chicken to the top of the wraps instead. This made it impossible for me to verify if I actually received the additional eight ounces I paid for, as the portion size appeared to be the same as a standard $14.00 order. Including a $10 tip mind you for to go pickup order, I paid close to $30.00 for a simple meal (ground chicken and lettuce). That's it that's all, and on top of that it did not meet my requests or expectations. It is disappointing to say the least to receive a confirmation call only to have the specific instructions ignored. If a customer ask for something to be placed on the side, it should not be at the discretion of the cook or anybody else in the restaurant to determine whether or not the request will be honored. Especially with something so mindless as putting chicken on the side. What I asked for was not rocket science. Given this experience and the lack of value for the price, I will not back!!!!

Beef Jerky
Fatima E.

Stopping by to get papaya salad (which was perfectly seasoned and had freshly squeezed lime as the dominant flavor), but ended up with three dishes total. The Pad Kra Pao was great also. The bonus surprise was the 'Beef Jerky' recommended by the receptionist. It came with what seemed like a tamarind sauce, and both were good on its own and together.

Came here on a Sunday evening with a 6 PM reservation and we were seated promptly, which is always a great start. The restaurant had a lively but comfortable energy--busy enough to feel popular, but not chaotic. We decided to order family-style so we could try a variety of dishes, and honestly, everything that came out was delicious. From the appetizers to the main dishes, each plate was flavorful and nicely presented. One standout moment of the night was the tableside Tom Kha Shrimp soup. The presentation alone was worth ordering--it's prepared right at the table and makes for a fun little dining experience before you even take the first bite. Service was another highlight. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering easy. The rest of the staff we encountered were just as welcoming, and the overall hospitality felt genuine. Prices felt reasonable for the quality of food, and the portions were generous--perfect for sharing if you're dining family-style. The decor is stylish and modern without feeling overdone, and the space is clearly well-maintained. The women's restroom was clean, which I always notice when dining out. A couple additional things I appreciated: they accept reservations (always a plus), and there's plenty of parking available, making the visit stress-free from start to finish. Overall, this spot checks a lot of boxes--good food, solid service, nice ambiance, and convenient parking. Already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu.

Great food, drinks not upto par, service was decent and pace of food service was fast. Beautiful restaurant and a gorgeous design. Will definitely be back for the food

We had a great time! I wish I could remember our server's name, we came in a few weeks ago and everything was great. First, it's very beautiful inside! We had a reservation for Friday night and it wasn't too busy. We were led to these very nice booths that face out to the restaurant. We each ordered a cocktail (had just missed happy hour) and dang they were good! For food we started with the beef jerkey, which dang! It was so moist and tasted so flavorful. I would absolutely order this again. For my main I got the yellow curry with chicken and it was tasty! I was torn on getting noodles, which I'll definitely try next time. Everyone else loved their food as well! Great drinks, really good food, very friendly service, lovely atmosphere....there's a lot to love about this place! This is set close enough to the neighborhoods in the area that I think this will definitely become a local jewel.

I really wish I took photos of the interior because the space is absolutely beautiful. It is very modern and thoughtfully put together. There is a bar area that looks inviting and like a great place to grab a unique cocktail after work. The star of the show for me was the beef pad see ew. Great flavor and texture (I hate when noodles are too soft) plus it came in the cutest container! We ordered a curry and asked for it to be a level 4 out of 5 and it had the same level of spice as the level 2 pad krapow so our server brought us the chili rack but it didn't make it better. The crispy pork buns were good but the buns themselves don't need to be fried. What did not work for me was the Pandan brownie sundae. It sounded really creative and I had high hopes as the main dishes were delicious but it was a complete flop. The flavors didn't work well together and the brownie didn't taste like pandan at all and was very overcooked. I would come back to try other appetizers and main courses, just not the dessert.

We came to Blue Orchid Thai Restaurant on a Friday evening. The inside is absolutely gorgeous and feels fancy. It is well decorated, and the atmosphere immediately stands out. Our waitress was nice and friendly, which added to the experience. The food was good, though maybe not my favorite overall. We ordered appetizers including the tempura mushrooms and the chicken wings. For entrées, we ordered green curry, pad Thai, pad see ew, and fried rice. My favorite dish was the green curry, followed by the pad Thai and pad see ew. If I were to return, I would not order the fried rice again. It was nothing special and a bit underwhelming compared to the other dishes. Overall, it was a great experience, especially since we were celebrating my friend's birthday, and the atmosphere made the night feel special.

Crying tiger beef with sauces, delicious.

We are in Vegas for the weekend and looking for a new Thai spot, Blue Orchid Thai Kitchen is south of the city and has good reviews. They are 15-20 minutes south of the strip. The interior is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The plant life and decor is very soothing. Although the owner's family is in the Thai food business and it is their son's his first venture on his own. A very impressive start for his first place. Once seated we ordered the Thai crying tiger on a stick with cucumber salad, Thai spices and a delicious dipping sauce. The meat was tender, juicy and packed with good grilled flavor. Our next choice was the tempora enoki fried mushrooms with a dipping sauce. These were unusual, almost like fries and again, a nice change from our normal selections. The pad Thai with paprika rice noodles, chicken, bean sprouts, cilantro, peanuts, egg and lime was good but more sour than we like. It did not incorporate the sweet / tangy/ salty combination we look forward to. Our final dish was the pangang curry with chicken, green beans, Thai basil, coconut milk and jasmine rice. The sauce was a bit runny and not as rich and uncious as I wanted. The green beans were a nice touch along with lychee fruit. Blue Orchid Thai Kitchen is a lovely decorated and relaxing environment. The staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful. The appetizers were spot on, unique, different and tasty. Our entrees were just ok, lacking a bit of the rich flavor I expect from traditional Thai staples. The evening was still enjoyable and other than the drive, the food was good. A small tweak of the sauces on the entrees, I feel, will only enhance a great set up. Good luck to Blue Orchid Thai Kitchen as they are headed to greater notaritity and more future success.

Reading all the reviews made me excited to finally try it. I think I went wrong by getting it togo. We did the pork belly skewers, chicken lettuce wraps, khao mun gai, and dry street noodles w pork. Woman was interested in the lemongrass ranch so I got a side. The place is beautiful inside as so many noted. We went later in the evening, only two tables sat. Woman wanted to order a nonalcoholic drink but was told the bar was shut down. She asked for hot sauce and got all kinds to try, appreciated the variety. When we got home I saw everything was labeled, which I love. I tried a piece of pork belly. One skewer was just overcooked. I didn't realize it until I ate a piece that wasn't. It was night and day. This is something probably better fresh to your table. The sauce with them was too spicy for me so I made a batch of peanut. Theirs was pretty good, just not enough for two. The lettuce wraps were like tacos in a wonton shell, I prefer the old school way with iceberg. Woman loved it, since they were odd numbered I told her to have the second one. The khao mun gai was ok. It kinda grew on me, and got better once I added my peanut sauce and some Erewhon dumpling sauce I had. I also think this would be better in the actual restaurant. The dish I enjoyed and didn't need a lot of help was the street noodz. Loads of pork and it was tasty. The lemongrass ranch was tiny for what it was. Again there's so many places here, it's hard to do a repeat if it doesn't come out of the gate strong. The prices were high for what it was, maybe I could justify them if I ate there. Would I go back, yes, the likelihood is just low.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! This is the kind of place you hope to find in Las Vegas. Fantastic upscale Thai restaurant located just off the Strip... and that location works completely in your favor. You're not paying those ridiculous Strip prices....,the quality is right up there with anything on Las Vegas Blvd ON the Strip.. This place completely overdelivers. The service was spectacular, with staff checking in consistently to make sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. The space itself is beautifully designed and very well thought out. This is not a casual or thrown-together spot. Even the plates are unique and make the whole experience feel more elevated. I ordered the Panang curry and it was outstanding. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Easily one of the best Panang curries I've ever had. My friend ordered a classic Thai chicken noodle dish and took it all the way to spice level 10, the highest they offer, and had no problem finishing it. That tells you everything about how well they handle spice. It's not just heat, it's flavor. This restaurant belongs in the category of some of the best Thai food I've had in my life. Not just in Las Vegas.. anywhere...

A beautiful restaurant and very friendly staff. I would come back again over eating at a new location because of the staff and atmosphere. We did a sampling of 8 dishes. They were good, and that's the issue. The crying tiger was just good, the short rib okay, sticky rice stale, fried rice and chicken wings good. Hopefully it was an off day and they can at least be very good in the future, either way it's a place worth supporting.

Since moving to Vegas, I've been on a mission to check off all my favorite foods, but a great Thai spot had eluded me... until Blue Orchid. My meal here was an absolute standout. The drinks were vibrant and expertly crafted, the flavors hit every note I was hoping for, and the staff were warm, attentive, and full of spot‑on recommendations. The space itself is beautifully designed--open, airy, and thoughtfully styled in a way that immediately puts you at ease. Even the presentation of each dish felt intentional and striking, like the kitchen treats plating as part of the experience. From the atmosphere to the flavors, everything came together in a way that made the whole visit genuinely memorable.

Decor

Tried the restaurant for the first time-just went for drinks and appetizers and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is clean and organized, with upscale decor that makes it a great destination for a date or a girls night. The menu has plentiful options without being overwhelming. The food and ingredients are extremely fresh and pair nicely together. The presentation of the food is artful and enhances the experience. The flavors are rich, with great seasoning. We tried: chicken lettuce wraps, crispy chicken skins, beef waterfall, and tiger on a stick. Highly recommend them all! Our server was attentive and was great at anticipating our needs. Service was fast. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying entrees.

You are greeted quickly and placed on a waitlist (it was busy when I arrived). There's a seating area near the front door but also a few seats along the far side of the wall next to the kitchen door. It's designed to look like a high end restaurant: impressive bar, beautiful ceiling lights, and a mixture of booths and tables. There is seating at the bar as well so if you want to stop for a quick bite with a cocktail, it's perfect. Service: Quick and courteous. What else can I ask for? They use OpenTable so feel free to reserve a seat on that app, it'll help them out immensely when it's rush hour. The servers are quite knowledgeable about the dishes. They even warn you when you've chosen dishes with the same flavor profile. I heard our server guide the tables around us as well with the same attention. Their most known dish is their fried A15 Prawn. Garlic-y, crispy edible shell, and a springy fresh shrimp meat underneath. Yes, you can eat the whole thing, shells and all. Our second dish was their Nam Kao Todd and it had just the right amount of spice and tanginess. The crunch from the rice was a lovely texture because the dish was served fresh. I don't know how it would do if you ordered this for takeout, though. This one is VERY spicy so buyer beware? Third dish was Me Krob. This one wasn't my favorite of the three but I still enjoyed it. The crispness of the noodles absorbed the sweet and tangy sauce they pour on top. Overall: I'd come back if I'm in town!

The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It's hearty enough to share. 4) Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully. There's also a full bar, and the Lamaii Old Fashioned is worth trying--smooth, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. Coming from LA, we have decent Thai food, but honestly this place blows everything else out of the water. Tucked in the corner of a shopping mall with quite a few other restaurants, you might miss it if you're driving by. Here are the dishes we've tried so far: Pad Thai (9.5/10) - The best pad thai I've had - nice and moist, with great flavor. I'm normally indifferent to pad thai but having this one makes me realize that most of the other pad thai I've has been dry - no wonder I enjoyed this one so much more. Garlic Herb Crispy Prawn (10/10) - The star of the show - nice, large prawns fried to perfection and covered with a tasty garlic sauce. This is the one we get every time we go. Gang Pu (7.5/10) - Solid amount of crab meat in a curry sauce. The vermicelli noodles come on the side and you can add them into the sauce when you want. It's good but I wish there was a little more curry sauce in the dish. Pra Dook Pad Pren (7/10) - On taste alone this probably gets a 9/10 but we thought the portion was a bit small. The catfish is very tasty and the sauce was on point. Just wish it was a little bigger portion. Panang w/ Crispy Duck (9/10) - the duck is very moist and flavorful, swimming in the panang curry it's really a wonderful dish. There is a good amount of sauce which we like so we can add it onto the steamed rice. Panang w/ Crispy Prawns (8.5/10) - See above but with crispy prawns instead of duck. Enjoyable but I think I prefer the duck a little more for this type of dish. Garlic Green Beans (9.5/10) - Didn't know what to expect but really pleasantly surprised with this dish. The green beans are covered with a super flavorful garlic sauce. A nice compliment to any of the other dishes considering there's not a ton of vegetable options on the menu. The tasteful traditional decor and dark wood sets a nice mood for a pleasant meal. Sure, the view out of the window could be better (you just get a view of the corner of the parking lot) but other than that I can't complain. Also, the service is really stand out - they always treat us very nice and check on us regularly. Shoutout to Pinky - she's super sweet and they've given us a little ice cream dessert when we've come on our birthdays. In a city with so many great food options this one stands out for me. Can't wait to go back!
