Andrew the bartender that came on around 4 PM was seriously the best, great sense of humor and just outstanding customer service! The fingers were really good and the house made chips were perfect! But let's get straight to the issue- the HOSPITALITY! I don't like being negative- I want local businesses to thrive and reach more people, but I need to add this bit of criticism- Lately, coming here feels like you're rolling the dice- and going out to eat and being treated well shouldn't have to feel like a gamble. When I dine here, I don't feel welcome. The bartenders make it clear that they cater to some regulars more than others. It takes the bartender half an hour to get us started with drinks and a menu to look at the food. It's crazy- I come here so often know some of this establishment's staff by name now and yet, I'm met with this recent disservice- The other night I arrive here with my girlfriend to grab some food around 1 am. I see the bartender, Ryan, zooming around, refilling beer and shots, going in and out of the kitchen. It's not that busy of a Friday night- maybe a handful of couples and groups all sitting at the bar. He passed SEVERAL times by me, no acknowledgement, no "Hey, bear with me, I'll be right with ya." 1:30. He finally comes to us apologizing, gets us started on drinks and hands us the menu. We take a couple of minutes to decide. He stands around by the Pos and talks to another bartender (Andrew I think?), who came from the kitchen, then immediately left. Another 10-15 minutes pass. By this point, I was wondering if I should just walk out. Finally, Ryan comes to take our orders. Typically, a server or bartender leads the conversation, right? I'm sure you hear things like "what can I get started for you," or "how would you like your eggs cooked" or "how would you like your Steak cooked" - You've all heard those before, right? Well- nothing. No cue. No asking anything. It felt awkward. Uncomfortable. Unwelcoming. I don't even know if he was paying attention. At one point, it was ME who was the one asking my girlfriend "How do you want your eggs cooked?" when she asked to get the Steak and Eggs because there was ZERO response coming from our bartender to anything we said. The energy felt COMPLETELY off, so I just asked then and there for the check and left off to grab some Cane's instead. An absolutely dismal experience. I don't like making my reviews about me, but I felt like I needed to explain exactly why I'm upset about my recent visits here so anyone reading this can better understand instead of just reading a vague mention of how rude the staff was. Let's get to the Good Bar Bites I recommend if you do come here (maybe day time could give you a different experience): WSKY Burger- I recommend a medium on the patty! Very juicy- the crunch of the onion rings and candied bacon- One of my favorite burgers! Steakhouse sliders- tasty and sharable mini burgers! Although- I need some clarification- Can modifications be made to this dish? One day, while ordering over the phone, a bartender named Zach told me I cannot add an extra slider (I wanted 4 sliders instead of just the 3 that come on the order), I'd have to purchase two whole orders if I wanted more. What's this about? I've never had that issue before, so just curious. Flatbread Pizza- of course pizza is always awesome to munch on. The crunch on the flatbread is so satisfying I honestly don't think I'll be coming here anytime soon. It sucks. The bar looks beautiful, the food is delicious. But why have I been treated like an outsider lately? It's not worth going to a place, even if it has good food, if you're not going to be treated well.

We ordered WSKY through DoorDash while visiting Las Vegas, so I can't speak to the in-person…read moreservice or ambiance, but the food was excellent. We started with the WSKY poppers -- deep fried jalapeño bites topped with bourbon bacon jam and chipotle yum yum sauce. These were hands down the best jalapeño poppers we have ever had. A must try. For entrees we ordered the fish and chips and the Cajun chicken Alfredo with sausage. The fish was cooked perfectly, tender inside with a very crisp coating on the outside. The order came with three filets along with tartar sauce, coleslaw, and hush puppies. The Cajun chicken Alfredo was amazing and very flavorful. The chicken and sausage were cut into small pieces which made it easy to eat and the sauce had great Cajun flavor without being overpowering. So glad we decided to try this place while on vacation. We would definitely order from here again.

HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended! Special thank you to our server Charles. Best server around. Made our party of 10 very happy and brought the energy!

I ordered the Reuben and spam musubi as an appetizer they were decent the prices were also standard I would have paid 20 or so but I had an LVA coupon which comped most of the meal. Gaming quality is as usual bad but unfortunately normal for most gaming bars which is less than 97% return video poker. At the very least the players club is good another Jett gaming run club which gives $20 free play as a welcome offer, points and various free plays promotions while actively playing. As far as the service goes it was good for the most part they took my coupon, made me a card, were attentive and changed the TV channel to the game I wanted to watch which I appreciated. It was just two things that rubbed me the wrong way. First when you cash out you don't get your cents on the ticket which I didn't want anyway but seems odd to not even ask. The second is I paid cash for my food bill in excess of what I owed the female bartender took it and said nothing to me just going to her other customers, I was still watching the game waiting for her to offer me my change but she never came back. I then told her I gave her $10 for what was a $4.50 bill or so and that I wanted her to keep the change as my tip anyway just making sure she hadn't accidentally locked it up then she asked "what do you want your $5 back?" In a condescending tone to which I said she could keep it but I wanted to make sure to tell her because she never said anything to me or even asked she just automatically took my change for her tip which is a very sleazy thing to do and made me feel like I was being hustled by this broad. I've never experienced that at any bar or restaurant the polite thing to do is at least ask. Overall it's an ok bar I believe there are a lot of better options even in that area but it wouldn't hurt to stop by. Personally I wouldn't visit again unless promotions and mailers made it worth it to do so.

Hey fellow Yelpers! This was my first time in Vegas and my first time visiting Sierra Gold. I…read moreusually have great experiences in most places and give good reviews, but this is a bad review I had to write due to having a bad experience. The food was decent, but the service was really bad, like really bad! Customer Service: The staff was okay. My friends and I went to Sierra Gold around late lunch/early dinner time. The restaurant was honestly really dead, with a few other customers. We were probably the biggest group that went to the restaurant at the time. The food took a while to come, the servers gave one of my friends food earlier than what she wanted, the servers took so long to get us to go boxes that one of my other friends literally went to the bar to get us some. Food/Drinks: Sierra Gold had a good variety of food & drink selections. I ordered the baked soft pretzel bites as my appetizer, and I had pub classics sliders with a side of tater tots. The portion of the pretzel and cheese was huge, so one order is definitely good for at least 2 people. I did appreciate the fact that they had a variety of potatoes as your side, such as the choice of sea salt fries, twister fries, or golden tots. Overall Experience: Overall, I had an okay experience at Sierra Gold. The food and drinks were the best thing about the visit. The service, on the other hand, is not so much, unfortunately. I'm not sure how Sierra Gold can improve as a restaurant & business. Maybe having the servers be more attentive to their customers, especially when it is dead? I hope this review helps Sierra Gold & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!

I normally give business a few opportunities to improve service before writing a review. Especially bars. I know that a lot of people stiff on tips, and sometimes at first you might get mediocre service. That has not been the case with this bar. On my first visit, I was asked to show I.D. It's expected when you go to a place where patrons are expected to be a certain age. I've met 2 different bar tenders which have both been awesome! The other day I asked the bar tender if I could get the VGK game on the TV in front of me. Not only did he put the game on, but also turned up the sound! Today, I sat down at a seat. The game was on a TV about 3 or 4 TV's over. I had no problem turning my head over to watch the game. I was doing something on my phone, and when I looked up, I realized he had put the game on the TV in front of me. He also remembered what I drink which was an added bonus! I'm a huge fan of New Orleans and the Saints! When you're inside the bar, you forget that you're in Vegas. It has a very cool New Orleans vibe to it. There are TV's in front of almost every seat. In the back there are several huge screens and very comfortable couches. There's been a problem they are trying to fix with the video games, which I don't care because that's not what I went in for. They do however have a working Pool Table. Beers are very affordable, if I remember correctly, $3.25 or $3.50 a beer. If you're looking for Mardi Gras beads, they have every team you can think of for sale. I know they have food, but have never tried it. So I can't speak on it. If you like playing slots, there's a huge bar area with several machines along the bar. I highly recommend checking them out! I wish I could give them 10 Stars!

You can…read moreenjoy a frozen daiquiri while winning tickets in the arcade area, or partake in a draft or bottled beer while playing video poker. Cash only is accepted, so plan accordingly. The wall of arcade game prizes is impressive! There are beads to suit any interest, from sports to animals and much more. Other prizes include masks, hats, T-shirts, sports helmets and plush animals. The arcade operates on game tokens, which are handed out with drink and food purchases- for example, spend $10, get 10 game tokens. The price for the games ranges from 1 token for pinball and "old school" games such as Pac-Man, to 4 or more tokens for games of skill, etc. They have a basketball game, a wheel which gives out tickets, beer pong for tickets game, coin push and more. The buy food & drinks, play free games is a pretty sweet deal. The menu is New Orleans themed also, and the drinks will not disappoint. There were 2 employees when I was there, and they handle everything. On a Monday eve, there were about 8 other customers. The place is big, with nice seating areas in front of TVs. Bourbon Street is a Dotty's taverns sibling, and their player's club is aligned with Dotty's. This location has gaming at the bar, which is in front of a number of TVs and the wall 'o prizes. A few machines had a 15x points on all games tag on them, which is a good promo. Bourbon Street has perfected carrying out the chain's theme, with a ceiling of New Orleans related signs, flags, etc, and more stuff on the walls. There are also animated "entertainers" twirling on poles, and a Bourbon Street facade. The place was very clean, including the restroom. Smoking is permitted, but the lack of customers may mean it won't be too bad.
