Small local dark dive bar sweet and nice bartender seems to be a local hangout. Bar had built in poker machines. Touch tune music bottle beer and cocktails

Heather H.

Unfortunately they do t serve food. But they make a mean Bloody Mary! Perfect amount of spice. The bartender was super friendly and had polite conversation. It's a total dive bar. Clean with cool wall art.

I'm gonna leave my spirit here when I die. Come buy it a drink. The example of what a dive bar should be.

A nice spot to chill, from all the hustle. Staff is friendly and drinks are reasonably priced. The owner cares about his customers.

Ignored me and were extremely arrogant. Talked on their cellphone entire time except to pour me a drink when I waved them down

Flare is an extremely unique experience and lure! The lights continually change making drinking oh so exclusive and fun! On my most recent visit, I lent my ear for someone that so badly needed just someone to listen too. This someone is my bff. I will always have her back, and vice versa. Where better than a bar to distract her. The lights of flare have always been something that distracts her. Wanting to stay away from the strip and closer to home this bar is a fantastic location for both of us. Flare is located in the Silverton Hotel in the middle of the casino. Free covered parking, no cover, minimal people, and not touristy; perfect place for us. We arrive at different times, with my friend still stuck in traffic I just sit with a beer waiting. After she arrives she orders a Crown and Coke. I give the bartender the card and ask him to start a tab. As we sit here the orange and red hues wash over us from above, bathing us in its color. As it switches to bluish green we notice the pink coloring. My bff is smiling now we are getting somewhere. The smile from my bff is perfection and it is so great to see her smile. The tears were checked at the elevator as I watched her approach Flare and her eyes were immediately engulfed in the changing lights from above my head as I sat at the bar. Getting up I hugged my bff and the bartender seemed particularly interested in my friends unsettled mood. The bartender even asked what was bothering her. This bartender was so attentive to our order ensuring that we were not bothered by anyone asking to buy us a drink or if we needed a shoulder to cry on. As we drank the compassionate side of the bartender was fantastic. He even bought us a round of Crown and Coke too. Aside from having a wonderful bartender, whom was alert and always on his toes for keeping our drinks coming and water cups filled. The bar is a great place to try your luck with blackjack. The machines on the counter are level enough with the most comfortable chairs that I have sat in. The chairs at the bar are white bar type stools that are very fancy. This bar has that old world feel to it. Having traveled to many places, my favorite were those small homely places that are so ordinary that you have to stumble upon it to know it's greatness. When I discovered Flare my husband was gambling and I wanted a drink. The color changing of the lights beckoned to me. Answering the call, I discovered my cozy new place. My bff fell in love with the concept they used in designing the bar. As I listen to my bff the lights above keep changing. My eyes are constantly being drawn to those tempting lights. After a while the Crown and Coke got old, plus we wanted to walk out of the bar after drinking; and not be carried. Switching it up we asked our bartender what he would drink after so much Crown and Coke. His suggestion was beer. They offer a special happy hour price for $4.00 a bottle for Miller Lite. That's what we had, everyone likes happy hour prices. With work tomorrow and my bff mood changed we are going to find some food. They do not sell food here so it's off to find something delicious to absorb all the alcohol we partook of. In our merriment the service and atmosphere of Flare was exactly what we needed to reset ourselves. Come and see what the lights of Flare will do to you. The experience was magical and the bartender was fantastic. Thanks to making our troubles wash away and be replaced with hues of new color to enchant our week!

The tea was great, more places than not will serve old tea, no lemon but they serve great tea. They didn't give me a new lemon, but that was fine. The wings were ordered with the traditional Buffalo sauce, but they have so many choices. Ranch sauce of course. The fries were goddamn perfect, crunchy and yet creamy on the inside! Veggies delicious, clean and crisp. Highly recommended. The service was nice as well.

Hey fellow Yelpers! This was my first time in Vegas and my first time visiting Sierra Gold. I…read moreusually have great experiences in most places and give good reviews, but this is a bad review I had to write due to having a bad experience. The food was decent, but the service was really bad, like really bad! Customer Service: The staff was okay. My friends and I went to Sierra Gold around late lunch/early dinner time. The restaurant was honestly really dead, with a few other customers. We were probably the biggest group that went to the restaurant at the time. The food took a while to come, the servers gave one of my friends food earlier than what she wanted, the servers took so long to get us to go boxes that one of my other friends literally went to the bar to get us some. Food/Drinks: Sierra Gold had a good variety of food & drink selections. I ordered the baked soft pretzel bites as my appetizer, and I had pub classics sliders with a side of tater tots. The portion of the pretzel and cheese was huge, so one order is definitely good for at least 2 people. I did appreciate the fact that they had a variety of potatoes as your side, such as the choice of sea salt fries, twister fries, or golden tots. Overall Experience: Overall, I had an okay experience at Sierra Gold. The food and drinks were the best thing about the visit. The service, on the other hand, is not so much, unfortunately. I'm not sure how Sierra Gold can improve as a restaurant & business. Maybe having the servers be more attentive to their customers, especially when it is dead? I hope this review helps Sierra Gold & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!

I was going to a different bar about a block away from this place to watch VGK games. After several…read morevisits, I realized my business was not welcome there. I normally give business a few opportunities to improve service before writing a review. Especially bars. I know that a lot of people stiff on tips, and sometimes at first you might get mediocre service. That has not been the case with this bar. On my first visit, I was asked to show I.D. It's expected when you go to a place where patrons are expected to be a certain age. I've met 2 different bar tenders which have both been awesome! The other day I asked the bar tender if I could get the VGK game on the TV in front of me. Not only did he put the game on, but also turned up the sound! Today, I sat down at a seat. The game was on a TV about 3 or 4 TV's over. I had no problem turning my head over to watch the game. I was doing something on my phone, and when I looked up, I realized he had put the game on the TV in front of me. He also remembered what I drink which was an added bonus! I'm a huge fan of New Orleans and the Saints! When you're inside the bar, you forget that you're in Vegas. It has a very cool New Orleans vibe to it. There are TV's in front of almost every seat. In the back there are several huge screens and very comfortable couches. There's been a problem they are trying to fix with the video games, which I don't care because that's not what I went in for. They do however have a working Pool Table. Beers are very affordable, if I remember correctly, $3.25 or $3.50 a beer. If you're looking for Mardi Gras beads, they have every team you can think of for sale. I know they have food, but have never tried it. So I can't speak on it. If you like playing slots, there's a huge bar area with several machines along the bar. I highly recommend checking them out! I wish I could give them 10 Stars!

There are many reasons to visit the Bourbon Street chain, and this location lives up to it. You can…read moreenjoy a frozen daiquiri while winning tickets in the arcade area, or partake in a draft or bottled beer while playing video poker. Cash only is accepted, so plan accordingly. The wall of arcade game prizes is impressive! There are beads to suit any interest, from sports to animals and much more. Other prizes include masks, hats, T-shirts, sports helmets and plush animals. The arcade operates on game tokens, which are handed out with drink and food purchases- for example, spend $10, get 10 game tokens. The price for the games ranges from 1 token for pinball and "old school" games such as Pac-Man, to 4 or more tokens for games of skill, etc. They have a basketball game, a wheel which gives out tickets, beer pong for tickets game, coin push and more. The buy food & drinks, play free games is a pretty sweet deal. The menu is New Orleans themed also, and the drinks will not disappoint. There were 2 employees when I was there, and they handle everything. On a Monday eve, there were about 8 other customers. The place is big, with nice seating areas in front of TVs. Bourbon Street is a Dotty's taverns sibling, and their player's club is aligned with Dotty's. This location has gaming at the bar, which is in front of a number of TVs and the wall 'o prizes. A few machines had a 15x points on all games tag on them, which is a good promo. Bourbon Street has perfected carrying out the chain's theme, with a ceiling of New Orleans related signs, flags, etc, and more stuff on the walls. There are also animated "entertainers" twirling on poles, and a Bourbon Street facade. The place was very clean, including the restroom. Smoking is permitted, but the lack of customers may mean it won't be too bad.
