It's a wonderful cosmopolitan bar. No food, but food is available elsewhere in the refurbished Sahara Resort. Lovely Manhattans and Old Fashioneds. Solid bartending and excellent people watching. We just love it here. Tip: If you ride the Monorail, save the ticket stub. It gives you a discount on the total bill. Awesome, right? I know!!!

Cute cocktail bar inside Sahara hotel! Good selection of scotch and whiskeys! Upscale ambiance that's interrupted by hotel guests walking though on their way to their rooms. Also - there is no waitress so you have to order at the bar and risk someone stealing your cushy char...

The first bar when you walk into a casino & resort is usually an impressionable one and the first one you see with a two for one Sangria deal is even more so... The Tangier is all of the above with: Great mood lighting Comfy Seating (at the bar and throughout their lounge) Good Music. Good Tv (often sports). Great bartender. Passed by here quite a bit during a Christmas weekend stay with family at the Sahara and we definitely took advantage of the Sangria special (exclusive for guest of the hotel), but they also have a solid happy hour, not to mention signature cocktails. They definitely know their way around all spirits, but whiskey is definitely a popular fav as someone mentioned. While the lighting just out The Tangier is very lively you don't really notice in this small inviting dim yet well lit den of warm brown, red and golden tones. Great service from start to finish. Usually never too crowded even when busy, so sit back and enjoy.

This is a hidden gem. I only found out about this place because of a YouTuber. This bar provided me with excellent customer service and great cocktails. The cocktails are no more than $16 each. That is a good price for Las Vegas. I got the Prize Fighter cocktail and it is delicious. It's slane Irish whiskey, giffarb vanilla liqueur, real pumpkin purée,stout beer and cinnamon bun cream for $16 and they gave me the bottle of leftover beer with my cocktail. My second cocktail was the Chosen One. It was a delightful drink. It's buffalo trace bourbon, ambros banana liqueur, funkin passion fruit purée,lemon juice, pineapple chipotle syrup. People need to head over to the Sahara hotel and casino and check this place out. You will not regret it for a second. I will add The Tangier to my must do places every time I'm in Las Vegas.

The best bourbon bar in Vegas. The old fashion is on point. Santos and Eddie are incredible bartenders. One of our favorite hidden gems in Vegas.

Just a very average bar. Most of their speciality cocktails have bourbon. Wont come back.

We came, we played, we ate, we laughed and laughed, and we had so much fun. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a lot of space between the dart "stations", so you aren't crowded if you have a large group. There is also a decent-size menu of food and drinks, not just beer and a handful of bar food like I expected. The furniture and decor was legit (or as we older folks used to say, "Tight!" Haha) It was really fun. Prices were decent... totally worth it. The only negative is that sometimes the games wouldn't register the correct score when the dart would hit something, so we had to switch darts. It didn't fix the problem, so we just found a manual way to move past the issue rather than keep switching darts since that took longer. It wasn't a big issue, but it was a hassle. FYI: There was also a bar area for patrons who wanted to come to just eat or drink (because the food and drinks were really that good!)

We both ordered the Christmas in Manhattan and it was really good... bourbon-forward but smooth, with just the right amount of holiday spice and a hint of cranberry. A week before our…read morevisit, I received a confirmation text advising there would be a $100 minimum spend, which I agreed to since I thought this was required of all customers. When we arrived, they took our credit card and seated us. The space itself is very small, which creates an intimate atmosphere. The dark velvet furniture and décor were beautiful and definitely gave the place a luxurious feel. Unfortunately, the music didn't match the vibe at all. It was an odd playlist with songs we didn't recognize, and it really took away from the ambiance. We ordered the Pretty in Pink and the Make It Dirty. Both drinks were just okay -- not bad, but definitely not the elevated, luxurious cocktails we were expecting. We noticed a couple people come in, have one drink, and then leave after closing out their tab. I asked one couple if they also had a minimum spend requirement, and they told me they did not, they had simply walked in without a reservation. That was frustrating considering we had committed to a reservation and the minimum spend, while walk-ins apparently were not given the minimum spend. I brought it up to our waitress, but she didn't really have an explanation. Since we weren't impressed with the specialty cocktails, we ended up ordering a bottled drink and a basic mixed drink instead. About halfway through our visit, the already strange music stopped completely, leaving the bar silent. Overall, the experience was disappointing. The interior is absolutely lovely, but everything else fell short of expectations.
