On my last visit, I ordered the What She's Having cocktail, which was balanced and refreshing. My go to is the Strawberry Fields which is sweeter. We also ordered the bacon wrapped dates and Napa panini. The dates are one of my favorite dishes here. The panini was really good and I enjoyed the chicken and pesto sauce. When I told her we were there for my wife's birthday her answer was "oh that's nice". Far cry from "we will make the evening special for you". We got our food which was fine but absolutely nothing. Throughout the meal the waitress spent all of her time chatting with the large group in the middle - obviously her friends or whatever because they got five star service while we were simply ignored. If we wanted to get a refill of a glass of water or in my father-in-law's case, some sour cream, had to literally get up and pull her away from her buddy table to get service. She started it then walked away again to assist two others that came in. The martini sat in the mixer for a couple minutes while she got their order. There was a guy bartender following her around asking if he could help and do this or that and she kept giving reasons why SHE has to be the one to do it. He offered to make my drink and she in a round about way told him no because it's too difficult. Mind you it's a lemon drop martini. Pretty basic cocktail. (This leads to a problem we later encounter). A large party then walks in and was requesting to be sat. I think it was a party of 10. She gets them situated then A few minutes later I finally get my martini and my boyfriend was 1/2 done with his beer. My boyfriend finishes his first beer, the guy bartender asked if he could make him another. He gets the second beer and I was done with my cocktail. I was really hoping to get a second drink however the woman bartender had her hands full with the large party and never came back to the bar, mind you she already told the guy bartender to not make my martini, so now he's not offering me another drink. Meanwhile he makes two martinis for the large party and takes them to the table. When I seen this happen I was over it. I cashed out what I had in the machine and decided to leave. As we were leaving the woman bartender then said "I'm sorry bout that have a good night" while doing a bit of a giggle. I get people get busy but she wasn't allowing the guy bartender to help her.
