On my last visit, I ordered the What She's Having cocktail, which was balanced and refreshing. My go to is the Strawberry Fields which is sweeter. We also ordered the bacon wrapped dates and Napa panini. The dates are one of my favorite dishes here. The panini was really good and I enjoyed the chicken and pesto sauce. I was the only one eating but my family all ordered drinks. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was really freaking good. I'm obsessed with hot honey these days and it really hit the spot. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink.
