However, on 8/9, I visited my fav local pub and the AC was not cool! It was about 85°+ inside. Thats not good for customers. I hope the ownership rectifies this issue, otherwise, I'll be taking my talents and deep pockets elsewhere. Fu. It's a Boulder Highway bar. It was dark, smokey, and had calm vibes. I mean, you have to know what to expect. The staff was super friendly, and the other patrons were fine. I didn't have any food- just a beer stop. Side note: I was meeting a first date here. When he went to the bathroom, the bartender checked on me and made sure I was good. I'm not in town very often, but i like to stop at Rustic whenever I can. I don't know what's happened to this bar, but Saturday night there was unbearable! It was incredibly hot, and the bartender told me they could not change the thermostat settings! I heard from one other patron that the owners have locked up the thermostats to "save money." It must have been 90 degrees in a packed house! It's one thing not to upgrade the barstools or even make them safe to sit on, but to not cool the place down? It's just ridiculous. I love the bartenders and the karaoke folks here, but if I am breaking out in a sweat just sitting and playing keno, there are Many places around here who will gladly take my money and at least have a/c! read more

Here's what I will say about this bar throughout my few run ins on my Vegas adventure. What I enjoy about this place is that the complimentary shots were amazing, the hostess was phenomenal, the bar is 24 hours and you can smoke cigarettes. What I will say is that this establishment wasn't too friendly to out of towners and drink choices are minimal with no food though it looks like they have a kitchen in the back. overall it's a solid bar read more

We moved to the other side of the bar, again games didn't work, still no movement from the bartender. Worst dive bar on Boulder Highway, and I don't think they consider themselves a dive bar. Since I started coming here in 2019, this has become my "Cheers." Every bartender is friendly and the regulars are good people. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday they have karaoke and a lot of the singers are talented. The bar manager (Carmen) is amazing, outgoing, and cares about her customers. While some of the bar stools need TLC, they are being replaced by stools that look like they are custom made for this bar. As Toby Keith sang, "I Love this Bar." read more

I caught a glimpse of this place and it raised my curiosity. The sign also said it was family owned and in my opinion family owned is better than corporate owned! On the day i went, the place was a ghost town- literally one other person besides me was in there, but that also meant it was quiet and i'm not opposed to that. Seeing as it wasn't busy by any means, I'm quite perplexed at how the service from the young-ish gal was so slow (she was on her phone most of the time). Hey i will point out that the atmosphere and decor kicked major rear end- I loved the Rustic, rugged, way out back country feel to it....the name fits. I cannot say i saw any food menus around (and i didn't ask) i was there that day for a few drinks and gaming. I'd stop back just to hang out again. read more

Thursday open mic is great! The two guitar players/singers that host it are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The music covers all types. The bartenders are warm and friendly. Drinks are generous with fair prices. Negatives? I don't think they have a food menu. read more

Been coming here for 3 years and has always been a blast. GREAT karaoke and nice vibe. Tonight, the wife and I lost the usual hundred bucks in the machines. We each had 4 drinks apiece. They were MUCH weaker than usual, so they really only count as 2. Then, Taylor presents us with a $33 tab! We explained that we've been coming for 3 years and have always spent enough in the machines to more than cover our drinks. We also tip well and tip the karaoke guy also. She didn't want to break. So, we applied her tips toward the scam tab and WILL NOT return. Too bad for the owner who is now going to lose out on the $100-$200 per week that we spend there AND they will lose out on a LARGE birthday party that we were planning in September that would have been several hundred-thousand $$$ in one night. This girl single handedly cost this bar $$thousands by treating regulars like we are some random Boulder Highway trash, while she continually flirted with a guy that is not her man, and took forever to serve us in an empty bar. I would understand if we'd never been there before but we are loyal regulars! Well... WERE! HERE IS A WORD OF ADVICE: machines make WAY more money than the booze. I loved this place on my first visit! The bartenders are energetic & super fun, the prices aren't scary, the usual crowd is friendly & welcoming, it's open 24/7..... and the best part? They have live music or karaoke almost every night. They don't have a kitchen, but you can bring food in or they have the nearby delivery menus. As Toby would say "I love this bar"!! read more

My fiancé stumbled into this bar on a Friday night after going to the clubs. We were dressed up and clearly didn't fit in with the rugged decor in here, but the bartender was super sweet and everyone in the bar (all 4 other people) were pleasant. Drinks were cheap and strong. We really came in looking to play pool - it's $1 in quarters to play. And the table had all the balls!!! That was a pleasant surprise from a dive bar. The bar in general, including the bathrooms, was clean and tidy. For a neighborhood place, this bar is quaint and we will definitely be back. I'm looking forward to seeing how the karaoke is after COVID restrictions are lifted :) read more

Tried it for the first time tonight. The band, Last Resort was enjoyable. It has a neighborhood feel like everyone knows each other. The only drawback was they don't serve food at all, even thought the website shows a menu. read more

To start off with this review I want to say that I love the rustic lounge it's a great dive bar with a lot of great wonderful people from the bartenders to the patrons! Great service from all the bartenders they are awesome and I couldn't ask for anything better with that being said they have karaoke Friday, Saturday, and Sunday by a sold called company named lucky frogg karaoke. Rich runs that and his wife helps him. Rich must have stock in this business because he thinks he runs the whole bar! If he doesn't like you he treats you like crap. His rotation of singers suck big time for one. His wife sings more then most singers . It's all about "his rotation." I question him twice about that because I would be there to sing and if he's in his mood I would be lucky to sing two song in a four hour period. The last time I questioned him he told me to get out of the bar and don't come back. He called me an effin slut to where the bar heard him say that to me. He flipped me off and antagonized me to the point I had to leave the bar and will never return there until he and his wife are gone. They are two faced bullies that think the bar is there's and he told me I would never sing again there. He's rude and fake and three dollar bill! I love the rustic lounge so much but refuse to go there as long as he is there. I wish the owner knew how he treats people he don't like. I know of two other patrons that has left and hasn't been back for this very reason.I hope the management can do something about this man and get a different company to do karaoke for them because that the ONLY problem I have with the rustic lounge. So if you don't sing karaoke it's a great and awesome bar to spend your time at but stay clear of this karaoke boy and his wife. They are sweet until they are ready to throw you to the curb! This is a great bar! I just started coming here a couple weeks ago and it has quickly become one of favs. It is quiet in the afternoons but if you want a lively bar hang out into the evening. On the weekends they have karaoke for those willing to brave singing in public. The bartenders and other patrons have all been excellent. Tina treated me like a friendly regular the first time I came in which is the only reason I came back. Been served by Lexie and Chelsey also both of whom also have great attitudes. The service is always excellent, the staff always have smiles and are friendly. The only downside is that there isn't a kitchen. read more

All I an say is, wow! :( Been in here 3 times twicw with Tina as the bartender. Went in today and a new bartender took care of me before Tina came in (which of whom I actually went to patroniize because she was so awesome to me twice before. It had been a few eeeks since I had been in and started to try to spur her memorynof me by bringing up details of the 2 times I had been in before. The first time I sat by myself near the pool tables and the 2nd time I went in she said she remembered me because she noticed I sat by the pool tables. When I brought this up today, she said she remembered because I took her pic without her permission. Wtf!? Really? If this is the case why was she so nice to me the 2nd time I came in, which was the next day and didnt mention it?! Also she said she remembers seeing it on my phone but the bar is a good 15 feet from the pool tables and she never came to serve me, I walked to the bar every time to get my drinks. So disappointed. Feel like I was kicked in the gut Wow. The new girls was very attentive to me and Tina Bad mouthed her the minute she left. Chalk it up to a bad day for Tina I guess. I don't know. We stopped by this place for a drink and appetizers. Very disappointed as they could not make my mdrink as they had no ice. Had too wait about 10 minutes for ice. Asked for well drink on happy hour poured Jim Beam and charged 5.50. Did not have appropriate glassware for drinks. Service was slow. Food was just so so.
