The food was exceptional and well made. Staff was very attentive and paid attention to all of our needs. Bathrooms were very clean and sanitary. Atmosphere was very positive. Great affordable prices. Scrumptious desserts too. Easy to read menus. Seating was very comfortable as well. Parking was easy to deal with. Overall a 5 Star Setting and Rating. My dad died in Pahrump, so my family and I had to come out here to take care of things. There's really no other way we'd come here voluntarily. We'd heard from the locals, The Hubb is some of the best food in town and is a popular watering hole for the younger (under 70) crowd. The lady who served us for lunch was rude and seemed bothered we came in. Eventually she brought us our drinks and gave us a heavy sigh as she explained she didn't know why the restaurant was even open for lunch because she had too much to do to prepare for the evening shift. A second older woman brought our meal out (Taco Tuesday special) and tossed it onto our table without saying a word. The ground beef Caucasian tacos were over seasoned but generally edible. The service was absolute trash. My tip was reflective of that. If you have to visit Pahrump, bring your own food and cook at home, in your Air BNB. read more

The Hubb is a bit of a drive down Belle Vista but a worthwhile adventure. My wife is hooked on the dogito and sidewinder fries. The daily soups are hearty and flavorful. We just so happened to find this place while helping out a guy who was stranded so we stopped in cause we were hungry. Seems like a decent local bar with some live music which was nice. The food through was nothing I was too impressed with. I mean, I knew what I was getting into cause to be honest, it's very rare in my experiences to come across great bar food. I had one of the specials, Cajun Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries. The bread was hard and kind of stale. Didn't taste fresh. The chicken was this TINY piece that you can barely see with the huge buns. The fries had no seasonings so pretty bland. I was really hungry so I gobbled it up but didn't hit the spot for me. The service however was good. The two ladies who helped us were really nice. The bar itself seems to be the spot to get a drink and have a good time with friends. I can confidently say the fact they had live music when we visited is the only reason they are getting 3 stars. This is a solid 2 star place due to their friendly staff and activities available, pool, darts and many TVs to watch a game but that won't make up for the food or how smoky this establishment is. The food was really not that good. Burger king and many many other fast food establishments are not very far from here so I can say the only reason anyone would return here is for the "local" feel. They seem to know each other, meet your friends, have some drinks, play some games and so on. The staff was super friendly and nice. The chips and salsa, disappointing. The chips had a funny aftertaste, maybe the oil they were cooked in or the chips themselves were stale. The salsa, meh. I had a spicy burger (Death Valley)!that claimed to have grilled jalapeños and habanero cheese. There were no jalapeños, grilled or fresh or in any other kind. The bread was hard and stale and I would be willing to bet money it is from Walmart or some other local super store. The fires were equally if not more disappointing. It was even more disappointing knowing we could have had burger king and not be as disappointed as I was with this. This is a smoking place also and worth noting it gets very very cloudy very quickly. I am very sensitive o smoke and I while I was only there for about 20 minutes, I was coughing up phlegm for 2 days. The live music was good and and could make for a really good time. I don't often update reviews, however our last visit here was disappointing. A new to us bartender who complained about having to work set the mood. A cute little country bar at the edge of town with a rustic feel and down-home hospitality. This little treasure measures high against many of the small-town bars I've been too. With the smiles from ear to ear, the bar radiates with happiness, live music, karaoke and they even have pool tables in an attached room. Air flow is great, I love that they keep the door open which makes it more inviting when you walk in but also keeps the smoke down. Though I have not tried the menu yet. They do offer a wide selection of bar food that looks delicious. I will update this after we go back for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and so are the locals. We felt very welcome at this location which we both needed at the moment. Thank you for providing us with a safe and fun atmosphere to release some of the stress in life. From the outside, just an ordinary desert cross roads drinking establishment. With good signage. But on the inside the warmest places are the pool table and the bartenders heart. The burgers are everything you want in a meal, cooked the way all meat should be cooked. The normal customers are good folk. Who probably led a more interesting life then you. read more

Ok so if you like dive bars, you are going to love this place. My husband ordered the Death Valley burger. This burger comes with grilled jalapeños and habanero cheese. He loved it but make sure you have a beverage in hand before you start. This one can sneak up on you. I ordered the Hubb burger. It comes with lettuce tomato onion and pickle. I am not a fan of sweet pickles on my burger. The lettuce was fresh, cold and crisp. The red onions were shaved thin and tomato was fresh. The burger was good size and cooked through. All of the condiments, including salt and pepper are served table side. The fries are crispy shoestring and taste great. Just so you know the fries are not pre salted or seasoned and neither is the burger so you can season to your liking. The burgers are served with a pickle spear. It was a really good pickle. I know this because my husband ate his entire pickle and didn't leave it for me. Fun place if you are on your way to Death Valley, a local or just passing through and want a change of scenery. Just recently moved to Pahrump and wanted to try The Hubb after reading all the great reviews. Pulled in our Harley and walked in and the waitress throughout our dinner was kind and attentive. However the food was terrible. It took almost half an hour to get two burgers and fries. There was only one other table ordering food. The Hubb burger was tasteless. Even salt and pepper didn't help. It was huge. However my burger was raw! I couldn't finish it. The fries were shoestrings and were like paper on the ends. Flimsy fries. Likely we'll never come back for a burger there. read more

This was our second visit and our experience this time was better than our first. We live in North Las Vegas but we enjoy getting away from the crowds, traffic, and high prices of Vegas. Although it had been about a month since our last visit, the bartender remembered us and even remembered what each of us drank. This time we both had the Hubb Burgers. Perfectly made! The onion rings and fries were great as well. They always have live entertainment on the weekend so there is always something different to listen to. I found The Hubb while on a motorcycle tour looking fo a good lunch place. My group of motorcycle cops from Whales loved the local flare of the bar and Kelli the owner was more than accommodating. We stopped in here looking for a good hole-in-the-wall pub to go to and boy we got it. They just had their one year anniversary so they had leftover Jell-O Shots for only $1 each. We had the fish and chips and the burger and they were exactly what you picture in your head. My burger looked like those fancy pictures McDonald's advertises but you don't actually get... SO GOOD, AND the bartender made our food for us too. A woman of many talents. Shout out to the woman with gorgeous, long, red hair. Even the local patrons were super nice and inviting, asking us about who we were and where we were from. 5 star dive bar. Formerly other names and operators, this time the owners did it right. Cleaned up and refurbished over the past year or two. Best bar food in the region. Open usually 11AM to midnight or 2AM, when we're in the area at those times we always stop in. Friendly, welcoming staff. Very affable locals crowd, assholes kicked out forever. Great quality of life atmosphere. Excellent jukebox, often live music, full premium and high premium bar, excellent burgers, fish n chips and a good menu with something for everybody. Always clean.
