We attended a very poor attempt at a kink/goth/industrial night here last night. The bartender had absolutely no idea what she was doing and was very rude about it, made my girl feel like she was bothering her because she asked to use contactless payment. There was an advertised "playspace" that was non-existent. There was a really sloppy lingerie / burlesque show, then when we actually did start playing, we were asked by the management to stop (after a crowd gathered around us in awe) after we stop, then we are approached by management again and told we could play again. Instead we packed up our bags and left as quickly as possible down the street to karaoke and had a great time. We will never be back. Calling this place a Dive Bar is an overstatement. A complete waste of a $15 cover per head, and the early start of our evening.

The Dive Bar is just that. It for sure is one of the cheapest bars in the city. Much better than anything on the Strip. It often has live acts. There's a cover at nights usually. It has a good happy hour. Wells are about $2 each. You can't find better deals anywhere in Vegas. It may be cheap because they don't spend much on electricity. The place is hard to see inside because there's almost no lights on. As someone mentioned, there's an Elvis lamp behind the bar. The bartenders and employees are low key and not trying to impress you. This is a favorite place for locals. It's far away from the Strip so there's hardly any tourists here. This is a good way to get to know about the local music scene.

The bill ended up being nearly $250, with multiple add on charges throughout the meal. The server did mention ahead of time that there would be a charge for the kids cup since they don't offer disposable cups with straws, but paying almost $9.50 total for a child's apple juice and a basic non-souvenir cup felt excessive. The pretzel also didn't clearly indicate that the beer cheese was an extra charge, and there was an additional "house charge" added to the bill as well. The food itself was decent, but the overall experience became uncomfortable after payment when the tip amount was questioned. Between the pricing and the extra fees, the experience just didn't feel worth the cost.

Located on Twain Avenue, between Palos Verdes Street and Paradise Road. Their AYCD Thursday Nights (9PM to 1AM) is incredible and similar to their Sunday Funday beer bust, 4PM to 8PM. Located directly next door to FLEX, FHR offers more a rustic vibe, very leather/levi bar welcome of all. They have great bear nights, support local on goings like Las Vegas Pride, Smokeout Las Vegas and numerous others. The bartenders as well as the barbacks are plenty personable, with a lot of personality. Jukebox is solid and you can even download the AMI Play app which works for their Jukebox and similar digital Jukeboxes wherever you go. I got a couple of songs in. It can fill up fast depending on the night, time of day or day of the week and/or weekend. I can tell you Friday through Sunday was very busy, especially Saturday nights. It was great to hangout with my buds back from LA, run into friends from other states visiting for the weekend and make some new ones as well. Cigar friendly, but it can get a little smokey inside, even with the doors open, you can smoke outside as well, just no drinks allowed outside of the bar. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, are nights I'm happy to meet any of my friends, or be their designated driver, since I don't drink anymore. Adam makes it a fun, and safe place to be. He is what every bartender should be. They are LUCKY to have him. So many of my friends that own bars, want him, to work for them. I've never met the owner, but he must be a great guy. Adam is very loyal to him, and treats the bar, like it's his. He cares about it! It's always clean, when he's on shift. I've had a lot of fun, over the years, here. Of course it's better when I win, on their video poker machines. Been DEALT aces, with a kicker, several times. I won't talk about when I lose. This bar, with Adam, at the helm, is a guaranteed winner. No doubt about it. I'm born here. NO ONE knows Vegas like I do. I know ALL the good spots. There's some seating around the L-shaped bar and a few high tops surrounding the perimeter. They will put on a show here and there by juggling bottles, offering free swigs of mixed drinks, and other debauchery. Service (4/5): Given that it's a small bar, you're not competing with a lot of people to get the bartenders' attention. With that being said, they had multiple bartenders and that definitely helps. Taking the deal into account, it's still a pretty good deal as you're paying $9 per shot. Normally though, $18 is pretty steep for a mixed shot, so they close the gap on the deal by upping the price of the original drink a bit. All good though. Still a chill spot to turn up.

Our food came out before our drinks, which already felt off. After finally getting our drinks and finishing them, we waited to order another round--but again, no acknowledgment. Meanwhile, multiple new guests came up to the bar and were helped before us. At one point, we were told "I'll be right with you," but then watched as they helped several other people, poured drinks, and even took shots with coworkers while continuing to ignore us. We kept getting the "two minutes" hand signal, but no follow-through. Eventually, I had to go to the well to ask for our tab. I was told "no problem," but then stood there for another 5 minutes while the bartender walked around helping others before finally getting it for me.
