This was truly a delicious sandwich (we weren't expecting much for hotel fare!) the bum was grilled but had a delightful flavor. Ribeye was medium rare as ordered. We would recommend a meal here. Follow up to review- they charged my meal to someone else's card and I had to go ask to have it corrected. Still unsure if I'm going to pay for someone else's meal or if they'll be charged for mine. I'm a Lifetime Titanium member with Marriott, which means I've been loyal to the brand for over 23 years and have completed more than 3,500 stays at their properties. So when I say this place has some of the worst food and service I've ever experienced, it's worth paying attention. The service was terrible, and the waitress was unbelievably rude. I would never return to this location again. As a Las Vegas local, I used to come here two or three times each summer for staycations. Unfortunately, coming here this weekend was a mistake. Not happy with the new happy hour concept at all! A full menu used to be offered, but now there are only snacks which most of are subpar. The prices of the cocktails are close to strip prices. Only one cocktail is chosen for happy hour. Otherwise beer and wine are the only happy hour drinks. Most places with happy hour cocktails will apply to well drinks of choice. This is the lounge inside the Westin Lake Las Vegas. It really has a nice location inside the hotel and has a great view of the Lake. The first night we ordered drinks and apps and the second day that had a special football menu beside the regular food menu. We sat and watched my beloved Ducks beat the Buffalos 42-6..ouch. They have one big size tv and several smaller ones. The drinks and appetizers were all very good for both visits. Nice alternative to restaurants here in the hotel for lunch or dinner. read more

This is a small bar inside the Westin at Lake Las Vegas. It was mostly hotel guests. The bar is in the lower part of the hotel lobby with lots of seating, some tvs for those who enjoy sports and access to the fire pit court yard over looking the lake. Staff is really nice. Drinks were spectacular. Lots of echoing laughter from the patrons. This bar is perfect for date night after a walk by the lake looking for privacy away from Henderson or Las Vegas. Arabesque Lounge -- located on the lobby level of the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa -- was a pleasant surprise. I have been to many a hotel, and interior hotels are a usually a recipe for mediocrity. You see, Lake Las Vegas and Henderson NV are something of an anomaly. Maybe it's because they expect most people mosey down about 20 miles to the LV strip, but there is an unbelievable shortage of restaurants. I mean, I waited for more than an HOUR to eat some mediocre Mexican at Juan's Flaming Fajitas (read all about it here https://bit.ly/2UU8kEa). Long story short, you may have to eat at the hotel out of necessity ... but that ain't a problem. First, they make a great cocktail. Even in the bastion of watered-down drinks known as Happy Hour, Arabesque's drink packed a punch. For an appetizer, we tried their Smoked Chicken Quesadilla: Cheddar, roasted salsa, green onions, a generous slathering of sour cream, and fresh chicken, all on a crisp, perfectly browned flour tortilla. The yums continued with my Turkey BLT. While the ingredients are pretty-much self explanatory, the crispness of all of the well-stacked parts, the perfectly toasted .... uh .... toast, and the lovely blend of their Lemon-Mustard Aioli made for a top-tier BLT. My wife's Rib Eye Steak Sandwich was excellent, and a must for lovers of Rib Eyes and caramelized onions. And yes, we got dessert: Their decadent, rich, smooth Chocolate Mousse is a must-have. This bar is located in the lounge area of the Westin at Lake Las Vegas. We were able to walk in and not be a guest but be treated as one. That was cool because I was concerned, but I guess if you walk in like you belong there you will not have a problem. We went and had a seat and the bartender came over and asked if we wanted to have a drink and something to eat. We made our selections, and received our food and drinks in a decent amount of time. This great little bar is located in the lounge area of the Westin at Lake Las Vegas. We bellied up to the bar to enjoy a few drinks and some food. Jon was a great bartender and just happened to be from my husbands home state. Yes there was much for them to converse about! We tried their crab and spinach dip. It was served with warm naan bread. The dip could have been a bit creamier. It was just ok. We also split the burger and fries which was recommended by Jon. The burger was fantastic. Very juicy and cooked to perfection. Rude staff. I was very quickly eating a meal at a table with a friend who was ordering her dinner for her and her family from the lounge, before I ordered a drink from the bar. A staff member approached us in a very confrontational manner and said we could not eat outside food here because it's like "bringing McDonald's to a steakhouse". First of all- it's a lounge with kids running around all over the place playing (which I totally support) and second of all, why not even ask if I planned to order anything from them and then proceed to explain their policy if I said no? They host events geared toward children which funds their hotel and keeps them in business... but treat patrons poorly. I can literally take up space in the lounge without ordering anything and just sit here, but the act of eating in a common area is unacceptable... okay. This was not the only incident this weekend and their reasoning for each situation varied to suit their narrative. read more

The only reason i did not give this place 5 stars is because i came on a Thursday, when there is so music, entertainment, etc, which is what i was looking forward to. With that being said, this place is quiet, romantic, cozy. I sat out and looked at the lake. Around 730 in the middle of dinner,the fireplaces turned on.. adorable. Upon checking in at the Westin they gave me a complimentary signature drink for this this convenient bar, Arabesque, inside the hotel. It overlooks the beautiful views of the fire pit, the beautiful lake and golf course. The drink was made with pomegranate. It was tasty. Upon waiting for my airport driver I had a burger to go. Of the little time I spent here, I am a fan. You will find it in the Westin Hotel in Lake Las Vegas on the second floor. The place is very quiet and provides a romantic getaway for those trying to escape from the high paced casino life. There was a live guitarist that sang Latino themed music that added a nice feel to the place. The atmosphere is very comfy and gave you that resort feel as if you were in Monte Carlo or something. Excellent and fast service and the waitress even gave us our drinks fro free, that got me sold. They have a great drink menu, my lady ordered a martini/bloody mary concoction while I went with a Dalwhinnie Single Malt Scotch Whisky. I wish we spent more time here. There are little clusters of lounge chairs and couches scattered along the floor space that each had its own invisible boundary from the other sections, yet still was spacious yet cohesive enough to be all together. The first thing we wanted to do after checking into our room was to get a drink, relax and just do some nothing. The décor of the lounge is really cool. It just says "come sit and relax". There is a grand piano but there was no live entertainment when we were there at 4pm. From the very tall vaulted ceilings to the amazing view of the lake, this lounge is just gorgeous. The menu is nice and light. Nothing too heavy, just some fun to food to nosh on. The one stand out of this place is a server I believe her name is Jan. She was very friendly and personable. We asked her if we could have drinks outside on the patio and she said it would be no problem. We ordered the Mediterranean plate which had stuffed olives,garlicky pita bread, baba ganoush and hummus. My GF is gluten free so we asked for some carrot and celery sticks and Jan gladly brought them. The olives were delicious. Nice and briny but not overpowering. The pita had the perfect amount of garlic, I could have eaten more if they put it out. The drinks we ordered were great too, (not because they were complimentary) The mango drink was our favorite though. We will definitely be back on our next visit. read more
