This was our second stay at Lake Las Vegas in the past few months, and this time we decided to fully enjoy the resort instead of venturing out and it was absolutely worth it. Be sure to make reservations at least 24 hours in advance. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly. They truly elevated the entire experience and offered some great recommendations along the way. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't resist dessert and we're so glad we didn't. Every bite felt worth it. We enjoyed the Filet Mignon and Poulet Parmesan, paired with a fruit martini and a Peroni, and finished the evening with their house-made tiramisu. Yes, we were eating delicious food here on St Patrick's Day! Our server, Teri, was super nice. She explained the special menu items and found out that one of the dishes I used to eat here, and was taken off the menu, it was available on the special menu! I was super excited about it! For starters, we ordered the Caprese salad. It came with a fresh Buffalo Mozzarella and Prosciutto. We got plenty of complimentary bread! Beautiful dinner over at Mimi and Coco! This was the perfect place to have a nice family dinner. Called a few weeks ahead of time to reserve a table and thank goodness I did. On the same day there was a huge party in the main area of the restaurant and they were only accommodating reservations. Arrived at around 6pm and my party had already been seated. We were places in the "grotto" looking room with tons of wine bottles. Totally cute and romantic vibes. Loved it. Wine selection was great! I started with a chianti and ended with a meaty Cab. For food, I had a bit of the Caesar, pork chop (as my main), and tree the seafood fettuccine. Everything was wonderful! The pork chop was the perfect choice! Back again, brought friends from out of town who wanted to have lunch in the Village. The weather was lovely today, we chose to dine on the outdoor patio. My Salmon salad was quite lovely on this visit- I enjoyed the new mix of lettuces. My friends enjoyed their lunches as well, specifically the Penne Bistro. The service is typically good and the menu rarely changes, with the exception of a daily special. The thing I dislike about Mimi & Coco's is consistency - Especially my go-to meal. I have consistently ordered the same (2) menu items while dining @Mimi & Coco's for the last 6+ years! (Due to my food allergies) Although, I never know which version will arrive. Will a large juicy piece of salmon arrive on my salad or small dry strips? What will the bed of lettuce consist of.... It's always a Suprise. The grilled Octopus- used to be my go to. One of the lakeside restaurants at Lake Las Vegas. We stopped by for a late afternoon lunch so there weren't many people. We sat outside since we had our pups with us and they were very accommodating. However, it was extremely hot and they their fans weren't working outside, so definitely be mindful if you're dining with your pups. They didn't have many choices for food so we just went with the caesar salad, shrimp scampi, seafood medley pasta, and lobster bisque. Portions were on the smaller side but it tasted decent. Garlic bread also came with the table but it way overcooked and burnt. The menu was also on the pricier side, most likely due to the location. Service was decent but not the best, since we sat outside, it was hard to find someone to come refill our water/clean up our table. We hardly saw any wait staff out here other than when they took our order. This is a good choice if you're hungry and looking for food in the area, but be ready to pay a premium for the lakefront view and being in Lake Las Vegas. read more

Just popped in for a drink! We sat outside and this place sits right on the water of lake Las Vegas. Gorgeous view. Service wasn't super speedy but also wasn't bad at all. Considering we were just having drinks it was just fine. The drink menu mainly consist of wines with one page of cocktails. They do have beer but you have to ask. The venue also offers a spectacular view of the "Ponte Vecchio" ( Henderson style), one of Italy's greatest tourist attractions. My friend picked the salmon salad. Two perfectly seasoned and cooked salmon slices placed on top of some fresh greens, sliced tomatoes, pickled onions and any dressing you choose. My wife went there with two of her friends. They sat her down at 6 o'clock. They brought the check at 9 o'clock. The waiter came by once and took their order and then in the three hours came by one more time they wanted a few drinks he brought them the one drink then about an hour later the short little manager came by and had to take their drink order. Food was OK at best, but the service sucked. they give you 10% off for being a resident. They forgot to do that so my wife asked him about it. They took it off then brought the check back and said the drinks that the manager got them. They forgot to put on the check so the price never changed just seems strange. Will never go back there again. Don't waste your time. Wandering around trying to find a place to eat, we happened to find this stunning restaurant. It doesn't look like a lot from the street but once you walk in you're transported to another place. The staircase really is a stunning feature in this restaurant, along with the amazing views of the lake. We were greeted with a smile when we walked in. After scanning the menu we decided to start with lobster bisque. It had a good flavor. I didn't care for the crostini in it. I prefer a creamier lobster bisque but I'd still order this again. We got the filet minon with homemade mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly. A nice big filet minon. The asparagus was delicious and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and gravy were phenomenal. Everything tasted great. We also got the truffle fries. They were delicious. Perfect amount of truffle flavor. Came across this cute restaurant right on the lake on a Sunday for lunch. Btw, Yelp says it's French but it seems more Italian. We ordered the chicken Alfredo fettuccine and the meatball sandwich with fries from their lunch menu. Both were really delicious. Also, their complimentary bread was brought out warm and toasted, yum! The only flaw was that they served the pasta first and by the time we finished, the sandwich was still not out. Then they came by and asked if we got our sandwich, and then apologized and put the order in, and we got it 10 min later. It's fine cuz we weren't in a rush, but I can see how this can be an issue if you were hungry or on a time crunch. I wanted to eat it all it was delicious!!! My son had the Lobster tail and Ravioli, another had Spaghetti with Meatballs and then the salad with fresh Tuna was another entree. Service was great, we weren't in a hurry and he let us take our time. It is a beautiful setting overlooking the water and art work, lovely decor with table clothes but not stuffy. The ambiance was terrific --- loved the high ceilings, the Old World decor, the wine room. And most especially the high caliber of Augusto's service who was most attentive and engaging. I was declined service due to them claiming there would be another party coming in and filling out the entire restaurant. We went to the other restaurant across the way and after about an hour and a half of eating & walking around Lake Las Vegas, we walked past the restaurant again to see it entirely empty. Maybe one customer sitting at the bar, and the employees doing what they please. Might I also mention, we saw the employee that declined us service walking out of the restaurant and sitting around with his co-workers talking around for about 10-15 minutes before going back into the empty restaurant. My friends and I came here on July 4th for dinner before the fireworks and honestly, if it wasn't for the food and the ambiance, I would've given this place 1 star. I called about a month or two prior to July 4th to make a reservation and I was told that they didn't take reservations that day since it would be busy. We decided to take a chance and show up earlier to see if we can wait for a table. We arrive at 6pm and were asked if we had a reservation to which I said no because I was told they didn't take them for today. There were groups that came in after us and the staff also asked them if they had a reservation and they said yes. When asked about this, the waitress said these people made reservations weeks ago. I told her I called over a month ago and all she said to me was "Oh..I'm sorry". Another waitress said they only take reservations for big groups and yet there were couples that came in for reservations for 2. Very inconsistent and sounds like excuses honestly. Fast forward to our table, we sat outside, the view of the lake was gorgeous. The staff took over 45 minutes to take our order or even bring us water... Had to flag down 3 different people to get any kind of attention to order. Food came, it was delicious. Our waitress never came around to check on us. We had to flag another two people down to get our check that kept telling us the waitress is coming. Got the check from someone else, they immediately ran off, no one came to get payment from us so we had to bring the check inside to the waitress ourselves. Whole dinner took about 1 hour and 45 minutes and with seeing our waitress once the entire time. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. The food was delicious and the view was gorgeous, but not worth the frustration. The staff and service needs lots of improvement. It's 4th of July so I understand it's busy but the resturant needs to better prepare their staff because at this point, the food/view of the lake is the only thing going for them. read more
