Mojave has been somewhere that I find myself stopping in more and more. They have a solid list of beer to choose from, allow dogs, and have plenty of games to play. Our favorite spot to come and chill! Amazing selection of beers and ciders- sometimes they have the guest specials! My favorite is the prickly pear? I think, it's a ginger pear one and it's delicious. I bought a 6-pack as soon as I tasted it hahaha They have some table top games and a "hidden" pool room in the back- also super cool! They are dog friendly and even offer dog treats (next to the water dispenser) you can sit at the patio and enjoy a cold one. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, we love coming here! read more

As a former business owner, I understand you can't please everyone and some people take advantage, but that wasn't the case here. My friend's pregnant wife needed to use the restroom and we planned to order drinks. When we asked, the bartender responded rudely and said it was for customers only. Customer service matters, and a little empathy would have gone a long way. Because of the attitude, we won't be back. We enjoyed Mojave Brewing Company. It has a relaxed, local feel on Water Street. The space is soacious, with a fun mix of history and art, an easy place to relax after a long day. The beers and ciders are refreshing and well-done, with plenty of options whether you like something light and fruity or more bold/strong and hoppy. You can have food delivered since they don't sell full meals, but they do offer snacks for purchase. There are plenty of TVs, plus indoor and outdoor seating, so it's a great spot to hang out and catch a game. They also have arcade-games and other table games, which makes it fun for groups. I used to come here all the time when I lived a two minute walk away. My sisters came up to celebrate one of their 21st birthdays and after lunch somewhere else I said we should pop in so I could show them the vibes and they could decide if it was something they'd want to check out. While they were deciding if they wanted to play pool I played some pinball. The bartender either Griff came up to me right as I finished my game was snarky and rude. Dunno if he was having a bad day but hopefully he doesn't take it out on anymore potential customers. Unfortunately since he was rude my sisters did not want to stay. Great brewery and definitely worth a stop. They have a wide variety of beers and all of the ones we tried were awesome. The bartender was great with tons of knowledge and great conversation. I've been coming to Mojave Brewing for years -- brought family, friends, coworkers. Spent real money here on drinks, merchandise, candles. I genuinely loved this place and talked it up to everyone I knew. That loyalty meant nothing yesterday. I brought my mom, my sister, and my niece -- who was visiting from out of state -- excited to show them the vault. The owner, Griff, came storming in and proceeded to berate a grown adult woman in front of her family like she'd committed a crime. No signage. No polite redirection. Just aggression and embarrassment directed at people who had done nothing wrong -- and who, by the way, had spent money here before and were prepared to spend more. When my mom calmly asked why they removed the video games, he was dismissive and rude saying "because we wanted to." Zero customers in the place. Zero reason for it. The most telling detail? Online photos openly show people interacting with those exact drawers. So either Griff doesn't know what his own marketing looks like, or he simply enjoys having a reason to humiliate CERTAIN guests. I've since learned this behavior isn't surprising to people in the local beer community. He isn't liked in the community at all in fact. Griff, you didn't just lose my business. You lost everyone I've ever recommended you to. I hope the satisfaction of scolding a family on a quiet afternoon was worth it. read more

Previously took family and friends here. We have drank, purchased glasses and candles. We particularly liked the video vault. After my experience yesterday, I would not return. My adult son and I took in my adult daughter and her 10 year old visiting from out of state. Naturally we went to the vault to show her the arcade. Owner came running in pissed off, berating my 37 year old daughter like she was in kindergarten for pulling out one of the safes. No signage saying don't touch and on line clearly shows pictures of people pulling out the drawers. We walked out ashamed and I politely asked what made them move the video games out of there and he was so rude to me. Shocked. The place had zero customers at the time. I am guessing in the past it was all a fake show when he was cordial but none of our crowd, family or friends, will be spending our pennies at a place like this. One of my favorite breweries on Water Street! Mojave really has something for everyone. The bar area is not very big but they do have seating indoor and out. This is my go to brewery in the local area. Great beer. my Favorites are Mojave Sunrise an orange wheat bear and the FIRE Wolfs Beligum Triple. The service is great with Taylor, Tif and Michael serving and Griff the owner all working the Bar. They have Ciders and wine for those that don't get into beer. Food is available from Juan Flaming Fahitas and Johnny Mac's. people here are very friendly if you make the effort to talk to them. Didn't even get a chance to order before we left due to the bartender's poor attitude and belief that he could speak to me (37) as if I were a child. I was in town visiting family when this place was brought up, specifically the bank vault with arcade games. I was pretty excited for the history and experience as someone who grew up in Vegas. We headed into the vault to check it out and I pulled a lock box from the wall, amazed at the space. My family shared the room had changed with the pinball games moved outside of the space and a pool table centered in said vault. As I pushed the box back into the wall, being gentle and respectful, the bartender came in and without as much as a friendly hello, rudely told me that the boxes were not for touching. Hmm... there wasn't a single sign noting that and the box had a child's homemade bracelet in it. But whatever. I followed my family out of the vault. As my mom was asking why they moved the pinballs around trying to make conversation, he continued to speak down at us saying they felt like a pool table. Ok, again cool but what's with the attitude when we just walked in, were being polite and respectful, and were genuinely excited about the place? I literally cannot fathom what we did to piss him off so bad but I can confidently say that we didn't give a single cent to this business and went on to other places down Water St that wanted our money. My brother brings people to this bar all the time - local and visiting as a unique interior space - and needless to say after this, none of us will be returning or recommending it. Customer service goes a long way for all walks of people... it's too bad this guy made a decision that our money wasn't worthy of his establishment as the bar is no longer worthy of our time. New favorite brewery in the Vegas Valley. They have such a variety of craft and ciders with some of the best names ever...I mean c'mon...Stouty Doesn't Know, Patrick Swhazy...classic. The young man pouring our flights was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. While they don't serve their own food, you can order from Juans Flaming Fajitas down the street and they will deliver to your table. They are also family friendly which is a plus for this momma. I've been here a number of times, but usually just after work for a beer or hang out with friends from work. It's always been enjoyable with good beer options. But I haven't had that opportunity for quite some time. I actually put a lot of effort into getting there last night even though it was a weekday. I almost didn't go a couple of times, but wanted to join some friends for trivia night - only because it was Game of Thrones themed (because what's better than Game of Thrones AND good beer...."I drink and I know things", Tyrion Lannister - ha!). It was SO MUCH FUN! The trivia host was one of the best I've ever experienced (and we used to go to one trivia night or another several times a month). He timed things very appropriately - no super, overly long pauses between questions or rounds to drag it out really late but plenty of time for teams to hash out the answers or get another drink. He could be clearly heard and understood. The level of difficultly wasn't too easy or too hard and there was a variety of difficulty levels to the questions as well. He was funny (a little corny, but hey - it was trivia night, so to be expected), personable and really fun. The staff there is unbelievably friendly - like they might actually even enjoy what they do - and that made the entire even extremely enjoyable. And to top off all the other greatness at this place, there was a new Golden Knights mural on the wall - I mean, it might not actually be "new" but since I haven't been there for a while it was new to me and I loved it! read more

Truth be told, I am not a beer guy. Gluten and me dont often agree so it is hard for me to find a brewery that has more than just Red's Apple Cider. Well, Mojave has multiple tasty ciders which is fantastic for someone like me. From their peach to the Pineapple Cider, I cant get enough of it. They have a blueberry one from what I recall and a seltzer on tap too! But once I commit to something I stick with it, and I will stick with their amazing pineapple cider. The establishment itself is very nice, spacious, and homely. They allow dogs which make every visit fun and filled with new pups! It's also great that they are next to places like Juans Flamin, that new burger place, and Biscuits and Bourbon so you have tons of food options. The service here is great too as I have never had a bad beer-tender at this establishment. My favorite part of this establishment is the games that they have available. They have that hook ring game, connect 4, and darts which makes every visit fun. Lastly, they have a room that is always locked but looks like a living room with a large screen TV. My second time here and I'll will tell you that Patrick Swayze Hazy IPA at 7.0% is about the closest thing to liquid butter. It goes down almost too smooth and you may find yourself calling an Uber instead of driving yourself home...ha. We sat at the bar this time and got to meet the Tyler behind the bar. Knowledgeable and friendly beer pourer and a brewer himself so he definitely knows what he is talking about when he recommends or explains these beers. Also on the hot days they have a slushy machine where they chill one of their ciders for these summer months. We enjoy the front or back patio areas as well as the open inside. One note that is is a HUGE disappointment - the building owner has decided to start charging for parking in the lot ($5/hr). Dropped by for a quick refill of my growler on 24JUL2022 around 10 minutes before closing time. Met Kyler and asked for an amber ale. The closest he had to this was Fire Wolves Belgian which is a 10% ABV beer. Talk about hitting the spot! Kyler walked me through all the beers he had, but the Fire Wolves kept calling out to me Took it home and shared with my wife. She doesn't drink much at all, but this was a beer she could get behind. We decided to check out Mojave Brewing before having dinner at Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina down the street. This brewery has been on my list of places to visit for quite a while now. My birthday is coming up on Sunday, and my boyfriend just had a birthday this week, so going to Mojave was a great opportunity to celebrate together, especially since this is the start of my birthday weekend. Formerly a bank and nestled right on the corner of Water Street and Pacific Avenue, attached to a brewery is a restaurant called Biscuits and Bourbon. We didn't get a chance to order food from Biscuits and Bourbon this visit, but we'll definitely give them a try next time we're here. We ended up getting a flight. It was not too chilly outside so we grabbed a table on their patio. Our beer flight consisted of the following beers on tap: Punk Lemonade, Mangolorian, Shotgun Wedding, and Grapefruit Cider. My favorites among this flight would probably have to be the Punk Lemonade and Grapefruit Cider. Both beers had so much flavor to it. However, I did find the Mangolorian and Shotgun Wedding a little bit on the spicy side. Mojave Brewing was a wonderful brewery to visit. I'm very happy that there are more breweries opening in Henderson and Las Vegas. Water Street is totally rocking it with all these restaurants and breweries along the district. read more

MB is brewery #224 for me! Yes, 224 different breweries. I'm trying visit then all. By my count I have 12,869 to go so I'm well on my way. Anyway, MB is in old town Henderson area and looks like it is in a converted bank. Well, either that or they had a vault installed because they think their beers are just that valuable. MB has a good size taproom with plenty of tables and bar space. Nate was working the bar and set us up with flights. I had to order the Cinnamon Toast Crunch because when I ate sugary cereals that was my favorite. And don't come at me with Cheerios because that is cardboard trash and I will bear no dissent on this point... Anyway, the Cinnamon Toast Crunch was really good. It came rimmed [insert Beavis and Butthead laugh here] with a cinnamon and Graham cracker mixture. This really made the beer but bring me I had to know what the beer by itself was like. The gent at the bar hooked me up with a taster without the rimming and it was still really good. Great beer here! SWPFTD has a preference for brown and red ales but I think she would really enjoy the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Patrick Shwazy is a hazy IPA. Great aroma and flavor with the telltale signs of mosaic hops. I always feel like stopping for snacks after mosaic beers, I'm not sure why. The Thomas Brown Affair, a dark chocolate brown ale, was good but for me just drinking don't live up to its promise. I loved the aromas but the flavors didn't quite follow that. Not bad by any means, the flavors just didn't match up with the nose as much as like. The Barrel Aged Stout was also a nice one. Oak on the nose and tongue, with a good bit of sweetness overall. I enjoyed this but not as much as I did the.. Imperial Stout! This was dessert in a glass and at 17% would warm you up nicely on a cold evening. I told my buddy this would be perfect by the fire on a winters evening. Bonus taster! I got a taster of the pink lemonade cider. This is how ciders should be. I mentioned to the bartender that I was in Boise and had the best huckleberry cider and he said, "Edge Brewing. The brewer is a buddy of mine." Ciders do not have to be so sweet or sour that they turn your stomach, which is why I rarely drink cider. The lemonade cider was smooth. It still had the sour notes of course but was eminently drinkable. I do wish I had tried the blueberry cider also though. I decided to revisit the Cinnamon Toast Crunch by having a pint of it. This beer is not overly sweet at all. Quite good! MB doesn't have food but Biscuits and Bourbon which is in the same building has excellent barbecue. I'm fact my buddy and I had lunch there before MB opened. Date night came on a Saturday last week and my husband suggested this place. We called ahead and tried to make a reservation but they let us know it's pretty chill there, and just first come first serve. They also mentioned that you can order food from the kitchen next door (Biscuits & Bourbon). Since we had just had B&B last week and knew we loved it, we were sold. Came in around 5pm last week and grabbed a high top table. This place is socially distancing which is good. All the tables were spread out. We were greeted and had a couple different bartenders wait on us. We decided to do the beer flights to try some different ones. We ended up getting around 3 different beer flights and got to try sooo many beers that way. They even had a special beer on tap I believe for the owner who just got engaged (I could be wrong, it could have been a manager). The beer was called The Proposal. I loved it. And loved that they put that on the menu for the time being, too, though I really think it should be on there forever cuz it was pretty darn good. We also ended up ordering food from next door. They have it set up so easy. You just scan a QR code and order and pay online. They know exactly what table you're at and everything. My husband and I really just love the atmosphere here. Definitely think we want to make this one of our Friday night date night spots. There were a lot of couples in there that brought card games to play, too, so we figured we should do that next time! I want to jave mo'. Mojave Brewing is the newest officially opened brewery in Henderson/Vegas and the first one of those that's also a cidery. That means they make their own beers and their own (ahem, hard) ciders on site. They opened just over three weeks ago to reportedly insane crowds, and I'd already figured that I had to wait for the early buzz to die out a bit. It certainly was a calm experience (give or take some construction work next door) when I showed up to a quiet parking lot last Sunday afternoon with just a few other customers. I got to try flights of several beers and ciders (tasted individually priced $2.75-$3.25 each). While it's still too early to see which brews become mainstays, the Freedom of Peach cider is a great early product that exudes intense peach juice flavor rather than the ubiquitous apple, and it should appeal to anyone who consumes any adult beverage. My other early faves are their Export Stout and their porters, all of which are fairly complex and none of which are too bitter. As for the rest of the beers, I'm always glad to try something new, and they have a wide variety of ales available. I didn't super enjoy them all per se, but for the craft beer fan who likes to keep trying new products, none of the other seven house taps were bad. Also, note that they have a few guest taps (at least for now) and have both full pour pricing and slightly marked up flight costs. I look forward to checking out what Mojave Brewing comes out with in the future. They're making Water Street a potential beer crawl alternative (or addition) for Henderson residents and visitors who might otherwise prioritize the Booze District. read more

I'm so excited that Mojave Brewing is open on Water Street! I saw the sign that they would be opening months before they opened. I love what is happening with all of the great businesses opening in that area. Mojave Brewing is located in an old bank building just past the stretch with Juan's Flaming Fajitas, Hardway 8, and Lovelady Brewery. Behind the brewery is a private parking lot. It is best accessed from Water Street. The inside of the brewery has an industrial look with concrete floors and metal chairs. There are several tables, a bar area, and a large outdoor patio for seating. For members of their Founder's Club they have a cool lounge area inside what was the old bank vault. Very fun! The bartenders that helped us were friendly and welcoming. The brewery was busy when I visited, but the bartender didn't take long to get our beers. She was also great about acknowledging everyone right away. On tap they offer six beers and two ciders of their own. They also offer a few guest taps. The beers! I went with tasters to get a sampling. The Freedom of Peach cider had the perfect amount of peach so it wasn't too sweet. My favorite beer was the Fire Wolves. It's a Tripel with a nice flavor. The Shotgun Wedding was smooth with a hint of the raspberry and the pepper hits at the end. The Bones Brigade was smooth with a nut or pine flavor. The Skrogzilla was a great blonde pale ale. This was he a simple beer to enjoy with food. The brewery doesn't serve food, but you can bring food in. Water Street Pizzeria was even delivering to the brewery. Mojave Brewing is a great addition to Water Street. They will definitely be drawing people into the up and coming area. read more
