They have an area set up with tables for us to place it all. They provided us with wine glasses and pitchers of water. The staff is so knowledgeable about wine production and they did a great job explaining the process to us on each visit. On this particular visit, our wine was complete, so we were all part of the assembly line that got to bottle it up. We each took a case of wine home. Now I have 12 bottles of delicious wine to continue enjoying!

Last night was my first time visiting in over two years and it was such a nice treat. My friend and I showed up around 5 and sat at the bar to grab a tasting. There is a really comfy cozy vibe inside. We picked which option we wanted and started from there. About three tastings in (we don't really drink) we needed to add some carbs to the party so we checked out the food menu. $10 for a small pizza, not bad at all. The pizza is made in the oven right there and smells so good! I think we spent two or more hours at Vegas Valley Winery and enjoyed every minute. The MonteLago Village Beerfest by far is among the best beer festivals I've ever attended. Festival admission for GA is 3PM - 7PM ($35). The whole village is lined with beer tents. I love how spread out everything is. Nobody likes a cluster-fuck. Guests received a glass souvenir taster to sample the awesome beer available. There were local favorites like Hop Nuts, Aces and Ales, and Boulder Dam Brewing, but also breweries like Hop Valley from Oregon or Saint Archer from San Diego. There was so much beer even 4 hours wasn't enough to sample beer from every tent. This was a great beer festival with perfect weather and an awesome backdrop of the lake. 10/10 would recommend. I managed to spend eight hours there, finishing the evening with some margaritas and nachos at the Mexican restaurant nearby. The event benefits local radio station 91.5, I was actually able to get tickets as a part of their pledge drive, so this was a win win for me. The staff and volunteers were at the event and everyone had an opportunity to interact with them while enjoying some great music. Parking is really easy, the structure has ample number of shaded spots available; restrooms are easily accessible and very clean. Definitely looking forward to returning next year!

We ordered the Biscoff Cookie Butter with Cookie Butter Cold Foam, Crème Brûlée, and Affogato. All 3 were delicious! Sometimes espresso martinis are hit and miss for me, I like them on the creamier and sweeter side vs. the espresso side and all 3 of these matched my expectations. We wanted to try their espresso martini Jell-O shots but by the time we got there they were sold out. Service was okay but still good. Weren't greeted when we walked in and they were just very busy. We were kind of confused if someone was going to come and take our order or we needed to go to the bar. When I was here before, someone came to my table to get my order but then today I had to go to the bar to order my drinks so that was a bit confusing for me. :/ I would definitely come again for an espresso martini day!

I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.

They are also one of my go to's. My girlfriend had the duck confit and said it was absolutely amazing and her husband had the pasta. The carrot cake is to die for and they're simple bread and butter. Services is delicious too. We live in Henderson and we would love to see this restaurant stick around, so please come visit. You won't be disappointed.
