We stopped in to Gata Thai on a Saturday afternoon and were so pleasantly surprised to find that they offer lunch specials on the weekend. That's unheard of, but much appreciated. This spot is conveniently located right off of the Gibson exit from the 215. It has ample parking as well. There is a good amount of seating and judging by the amount of to-go orders, I assume they don't really fill up. We were immediately greeted upon entering and our server was so kind and attentive throughout our dining experience. We opted for the potstickers for an appetizer and the Mongolian Beef (spice level 8) and Mixed Vegetable (spice level 9) lunch specials for our entrees. Although they were consistently receiving and sending out to-go orders, our food was ready in under 10 minutes. Our potstickers arrived first and while I was disappointed that they were deep fried instead of pan fried, they were still really good. The filling was flavorful and the dipping sauce was a sweet-spicy combo. As we were finishing our potstickers, our entrees arrived and we both looked at each other in amazement at how large the portions were! Absolutely the largest portion lunch specials I've ever had- such a great deal! The lunch specials come with a salad, egg roll, rice and your choice of entree. The Mongolian beef was packed with flavor and was "fire". The mixed vegetable with chicken was an umami bomb and made it difficult to stop eating! the best Thai spot in vegas! The food here is so flavorful and everything I've tried here has been a hit! I've taken many family member from out of town here and they always want to come back! Starting from the beginning the Thai tea is so delicious! And I love the crab Rangoon. My go to is the tom yum fried rice, the flavor is amazing and is truly the best fried rice I've ever had, and I normally don't like fried rice anywhere. Another favorite of mine is the yellow curry with chicken, it just packs so much flavor and goes so well with the rice! I could go on and on about this hidden gem! This place is truly a hidden gem! And I cannot say enough about the service that we received. I did not get the name but the lady that assisted us with taking our order and check again during the meal was so sweet. I will say at the meal did have a little bit of a different twist that I had never had before for each entree, which was nice that it didn't taste like every other Thai place in the neighborhood. The stand out to me was the banana rolls, as they had a coconut coating on them and served with a side of honey. My boyfriend was over the moon with this. Though I did not try it with honey, I will say that the banana and coconut flavor was such a nice twist. I was shocked to see that this place was empty on a Friday night at 8:00. More locals need to support this local establishment! I found this place by accident. I ordered to-go, I meant to order from Gaati Thai and ended up ordering from here instead. No regrets, the food was great however I would rate their Panang curry a 7.5/10. The curry was too thick for my liking and it lacked more flavor. The broccoli beef was really good. Ordered the chicken pad Thai and the yellow curry. Opt for the low spice level since if you order medium spice it can be overwhelming. The service is typically fast and friendly and the dining room is small but does have dim lighting to enjoy the food in a quiet environment. They do offer Apple Pay as well. This small family restaurant is well located in Henderson, a block away from Gibson and 215, easy access and a clean place. If you love duck this is the place to go, it is well made and very tasty. We ordered Gata through Uber eats delivery so I can't really speak on the ambience, just the food itself. I will say that the Chicken fried rice and the Orange chicken were not my favorite. The Chicken fried rice was very plain for it being Thai. And the Orange chicken was way too sweet for me but other people might like that. The Pad Thai with shrimp definitely needed more flavor also. I've had amazing Pad Thai dishes elsewhere. But I did enjoy the Pad See Ewe with beef and the Chicken Panang Curry, which actually isn't pictured because we ate it so fast. read more

I have been attending this incredible restaurant since May 2021. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I always get the Singapore noodles. IMO the BEST dish that they have. My husband enjoys the duck yellow curry. Eating in is a totally different experience than take out. While the restaurant is small, it has so much flavor. The culture is everywhere. I was so lucky to find this place. And now that my family and I are moving, I think this is one of the places I will miss the most. I should also mention that my daughters (10 and 5) would rather eat in here than take out because the atmosphere is very quiet and they decompress so easily here. While not your typical family restaurant, my respectful daughters appreciate the staff being not just courteous but understanding of children. read more

Although I've never eaten in the restaurant, it's elegantly decorated and welcoming. The dining room is relatively small and often completely full around dinner time. The staff are amazing. The Thai iced tea is the best I've found. And the food is consistently exceptional, made with high quality ingredients. I've yet to order anything I didn't like. We ALWAYS order the chicken fried rice... tender strips of perfectly seared chicken with expertly cooked and seasoned rice, this is big enough for our family of three to share and still have leftovers. I had ordered takeout from this restaurant and was delivered the wrong order and the owner Tiny gave my husband and I can't service next week came in so we decided to take her up on it, and her hospitality was above and beyond. On top of that the food oh my God, the food is amazing. It's fresh it's flavorful and you could tell they put a lot of care and what they cook. It being a mom and Pop restaurant it's very cozy and quaint, but a beautiful restaurant with beautiful staff and equally fantastic food.
