A foam container with white rice, a 1/8 th of a cup of chicken pieces (they were good) and a small foam cup of simple plain, lifeless curry for me to pour over it. But it's always fast, food always seems fresh, I love their cream cheese wontons and of course always have to get the spring rolls. Best way to describe it... bland. Dull?? Either way I would not recommend. The staff was kind but the food could use a touch up.

I've went there often. I find the flavors original like I loved in Nam 1971. There prices are lower than nearby PHO houses.

The first time I came, it was about 7:20pm, however, they were closed with all the signs off and saw the workers leaving. Came again about 6pm in the evening a couple days later and the place was pretty empty. The inteior was very spacious and there was only 2 other tables that were there. As we arrived, we were told to sit anywhere. We were greeted and served water immediately. Customer service definitely lacked. Throughout the meal, I was out of water almost entirely but we were never checked on to see if we wanted more or to see if we were even okay. By the end of the night, I had given up trying to get attention for more water and we just wanted to leave. Again, no one ever came up to us to see if we were okay, so we had to go up and get the check ourselves. For food wise, my friend and I got 2 combination pho and one order of egg rolls. The egg rolls were 4 pieces and seemed very tiny for what you pay for. It was decent but I personally do not think it was worth getting. The pho was decent but nothing special. The soup is much sweeter than we're used to but didn't have much flavor profile other than that. They were generous on the amount of protein in the soup though! I was craving some serious Phò the other day, and I couldn't help myself post gym workout. I love grabbing the combination Phò to go, especially after a hard workout. Cozy interior, fast and criendly service, and always excellent food. I have never had a bad food experience here. The prices are great, and the amount of food for the price is awesome. Went in on a really slow night. We had to go up and grab our own menus. Ordered rare beef pho and a well beef pho along with potstickers and garlic edamame. Edamame was great with lots of garlic. Edamame (pods) were really small. Some with only a single soybean inside which was kinda weird. Potstickers were pretty standard and well fried, served with a side of sauce. The pho was just ok. Portion size was a little on the small side considering the price, and very little beef in the pho. Came with a side of basil/limes/bean sprouts/jalapeños as it should. Would have liked to see some cilantro but no biggie. Had to go up and pay without the bill, as we sat for a while with dirty plates all over our table. Not sure if they have different lunch prices but considering all the great reviews, it was a bit of a letdown. read more

The food items we ordered wasn't the most flavorful but was still pretty good. It did take awhile for it to come out so the service was a bit slow. Not sure if that was because we ordered quite a few items. But overall not a bad place to grab a bite to eat. I saw a lot of to go orders and people picking up orders for delivery services. I order take out from here often. My GO TO is the veggie Pho with Veggie broth. I add some golden tofu for a very filling and easy vegan delight. I have never had an issue with any order. The food is always consistent and delicious. I would recommend grabbing dinner here. read more

Wow! I'm surprised that this place is not absolutely packed to the brim. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by delicious smells, and a clean and minimally, but tastefully, decorated space. So glad we finally tried this place! The potstickers were fried and stuffed to perfection! The edamame was delectable! From my husband's own mouth, "This is the best pho I've ever had!" My curry was absolutely wonderful. The texture of the rice was perfection, the pork was perfectly tender and delicious, and the sauce was traditional style curry deliciousness in every way! I've eaten pho at countless places all over town, and I can honestly say Fuzen has one of the most flavorful broths I've ever tasted. We walked in and the lady told us to pick our own seats. It took her about 10 minutes to come over and drop off menus. About 10 minutes later she comes and takes our order. Coke, Thai tea, and lemonade for drinks. We ordered combination pho, chicken pho, teriyaki chicken rice bowl, crispy egg rolls, and shrimp fried rice. The order came out pretty fast, egg rolls and then about five minutes later, everything else. The vibes here are meh, it's not loud, or quiet. I say that it's meh because it wasn't the most welcoming, but at the same time it wasn't too rude. What I did see was a door dash/Uber eats driver get upset at not getting her order right away. Apparently the ticket had just popped up when she walked in and she was demanding a time for food to be ready. The elder man got upset and told her it would be seven minutes or so. Not really something we as a family cared to see. Unsure if it's related to the area we were in or just the situation. Is it somewhere we'd go out of our way for? Not likely. Was in the area and found this place on yelp. Greeted by an older couple right away and they were nice and pleasant. The food was good. I had the vermicelli grilled pork. It isn't the traditional where there are also cucumbers and fried egg rolls, but it was still tasty (maybe that's why it's "Fuzen")..it had the carrots, bean sprouts, lettuce, your choice of protein, and noodles. Went there today. Server was an old lady with no personality. Ice tea was cloudy slightly bitter. Ordered beef and shrimp combo beef tasted gamy. My bill was $21.11 paid cash at counter gave her $31.00 total including tip So as l turned to leave she yelled hey you forgot the 11 cents! I said what! Came back up to the counter she was still holding the 31 dollars. I said how much did l give you? I counted out loud 31 dollars now take the 11 cents out of that money. She laugh and said oh me so sorry. I turned and walked out regreting giving her a tip at all. Never ever will l return. If you eat there make sure she understands the amount of money you gave her. This place is not it. Looks legit, as a hole in the wall Vietnamese spot, but Pho not good, no flavor and tough chicken. I am friends with a dude from Vietnam that owns a "Pho" restaurant and his wife cooks the broth for 12-18 hours and you can taste it. Bland and no care in food prep seems to be their motto. Avoid. Terrible spot, Dairy Queen is right there and far better food, as well as cheaper. If you want Asian, go to Panda. Any other Asian place around the water street area for soup is terrible at best. Only thing I don't like about Fuzen is all the beeping and buzzing from the restaurants online ordering notifications and phones ringing. The amount of meat and noodles sufficed. Grilled pork Banh mi was a disappointment. I've never ordered a Banh mi sandwich and felt like I got half of a sandwich. It was about 6 inches. Usually you get a foot long for Banh Mi. Especially for the price they charge. The flavors were just not the there on this sandwich either. Bread was not the typical baguette crispy on the outside type bread. It was like a regular subway sandwich bun. Carrots were not pickled.I guess I expected too much. Eggroll was a vegetable egg roll? After trekking through the mountains of Utah and Arizona on a Labor Day Weekend outdoors adventure, my cronies and I were yearning for some Pho to replenish our carbohydrates and electrolyte stores. I was particularly impressed by the the cleanliness as well as the strict measures this restaurant took to prevent the spread of the bug. Masks required, face shields on all employees, large distance between parties. Great ventilation. No wait for indoor seating.
