Chinese food is one of my favourite things to eat and while Lucky China isn't the best chinese food I've ever had - it's pretty damn good for a strip parking lot place! The staff are so friendly, the prices are great, they offer fantastic lunch specials and coupons. The food is always hot and fresh and they don't use MSG apparently while cooking. So far - I love the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour pork, also the noodles! I tried the Salt and pepper chicken wings, but they were not as good as i had hoped, so I'd pass on these, but they were worth trying! I really love this place, it's way way better than many other things i've tried so far in the area. I will continue to give them my business and have told everyone about them too! I have been going here since it opened...few years ago. I go at least once a week. Their lunch specials for $8.99 are awesome, come with soup big portions. If it were cheap, it would be acceptable American-style Chinese food with a few American-style Thai options as a bonus. But it's not even a good value. Cannot recommend. Entrees: - Mapo tofu - Terrible. No Sichuan peppercorn. Zero heat. Weirdly sugary. No ground pork, just random pieces. This is not mapo tofu. This is cloyingly sweet hot and sour soup with some tofu in it. - Sweet & sour chicken - Good. Crispy enough given it was delivered, fresh veggies, sauce was one-note but tasty. This was by far the best thing we got. Appetizers: - Sliced bbq pork - Mediocre. Flavor was pretty good, but it was very dry and overcooked. - Paper wrapped chicken - Decent. It's nothing special, but at least they make this one correctly. - Chicken satay - Mediocre. Like the bbq pork, good flavor but dry and overcooked. Sides: - Steamed white rice - Mediocre. Very dry. Would probably be ideal for making fried rice, but not good for eating as-is. Misc: - As stated, this was delivery (delivered by restaurant staff, I think). It arrived on time and was packaged with care. - Got a lot of fortune cookies, sauce cups, napkins, etc. Always appreciated. - Got free egg rolls - Didn't order them, didn't want them, didn't eat them, but free stuff is free stuff so can't complain about that. I usually go to China Wan Wan for their lunch special but tried Lucky China today. The lunch special is an entree with soup and either white rice, fried rice or chow mien. I had the chicken broccoli with chow mien and egg drop soup for $10.95 which is a total bargain for the amount of food served. The first thing I smelled when they served my plate was garlic. It hit me right in the face! I love how they use a lot of garlic. Everything tasted delicious. The service was fast and friendly. My only complaint is that they charge $1 for the crispy noodles that I like to crunch up in my soup. At China Wan Wan they give them to you for free. read more

Diamond in the rough is the best way I can describe this little hidden Gem in Henderson. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted and sat where ever we wanted. The service was friendly and quick. Food was piping hot and tasty. I ordered the lunch special, I had the Kung Pao Chicken and my mom had the Mongolian Beef. We went in and were greeted right away, the shop was clean and quiet and we sat down right away. We were attended to right away and server, possibly owner was very nice and helpful. We have our order and everything was prepared quickly. We got a few spicy dishes and fried wontons. The main dishes were ok and definitely could have used a bit more flavor and spice. What a gem to find tucked behind the Walgreens. We had received an ad in the mail and decided the give it a try. We walked in at 830 and they have us a heads up that they are closing at 10, which I appreciate as I know it was a late meal. They gave us a free spring rolls and we had an order of crab Rangoons, beef and broccoli, and Mongolian beef. The portions are huge! We ended up taking half of it home, and for the price, sooo much better than panda! I do wish the Mongolian beef had some more spice but we asked for Sriracha. Both of us loved the crab Rangoons, they were just the right amount crispy and warm inside. We also had the taro boba, which is a favorite of mine as it is a soft flavor and not overly sweet. The service was great and they answered all the questions we had and even checked in before the kitchen close as we were there for around a hour. We will definitely be back. read more

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and my daughter was the one who brought me -- and I'm so glad she did! I'm originally from New York and very picky about Chinese food, but this place truly took me home. The flavors were clean, not overly salty, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The presentation was beautiful, and the restaurant itself was spotless. The lady owner was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I could tell they take pride not only in their food but in the way they treat their customers. I ordered the BBQ pork fried rice, fried chicken wontons, BBQ pork ribs, egg foo yong (even the gravy was amazing!), and crispy egg rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious. My daughter got the chicken lo mein with fried rice, and we shared the chicken wonton soup -- and let me tell you, that soup was unbelievably good. Even though this restaurant is about a 25-minute drive from my home, it's now officially my go-to spot for Chinese food. When the food is this good, it's worth every mile. Trying to branch out from my usual NY Chinese Restaurant takeout rut, I convinced my family to go here and regretted it. Each item was missing that love that goes into every dish at NYCR from the bland, crab-less "Crab" Rangoons and PAPER-thin Fried Shrimp to the tough meats and puny pineapple bits in the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Even a special occasion dish like Shrimp with Lobster Sauce couldn't be more lackluster! And just when we thought our disappointment couldn't be topped, we discovered a quarter-filled bag of fried wonton chips that tasted so stale and RANCID, there is no way that should've been served to the public!!! Why even bother throwing that in??! Shortly after heading out to pick up our order, a lady called to make sure we were coming and wasn't very nice about letting us know they were closing within the hour. We thought it was a slow night and they wanted to close up early so we hurried. At pickup, there were still customers dining in so they were just being neurotic. No hello, goodbye, or thank you. Ate there for the first time. I love chicken satay. It was dried out and looked awful. The peanut sauce was watery as could be not thick at all like it's supposed to be. The sweet and sour was watery. I barely had any chicken in my dish and the sauce had a gross texture. We tried a number of dishes, Pork Singapore noodles, vegetable egg foo young (one of my sister's favorites, and hard to find in Vegas), a vegetable soup, crab ragoon, and a couple Thai tea. Since the Family Dinner limits you on entrees and soup selection, we ordered everything separately. We got hot n sour soup to share. I selected the eggplant with tofu with white rice. My partner got the Mongolian Beef with fried rice. We had a coupon for free 4 crab rangoon if you spend at least $25, so we did that with a side of sweet n sour sauce. We ordered delivery over the phone to ensure we could apply the coupon. The food showed up FAST! We both started on the hot n sour soup as an appetizer. Unfortunately, the soup was lukewarm and tasted like instant hot n sour soup mix. Watery and bland. Disappointed because this is our favorite kind of soup. Crab rangoon were fine, and the sweet and sour sauce was good. The eggplant with tofu was actually very delicious. I thought it was a gracious amount of food for the price, so I appreciated that. I wish it was spicier, but it was still great and piping hot. My partner didn't seem impressed with the Mongolian Beef. He said he wasn't even sure if he even wanted to finish it as leftovers. Oh Lucky China, and how their quality never changes. We ordered lunch specials for delivery, and as always: it was super quick. The food was steaming hot, the ordered packaged tightly, carefully, and in order. We never have any issues with delivery, the food is always fresh, and tasty, and it is absolutely worth the price you pay for what they give you. It is so much food that you can feed your family and also have some for the next day, or later on. We usually stick with the same things off their menu because we don't always have it, but what I always look forward to is the egg drop soup, the egg rolls, and the wonton soup. They are my absolute favorite and a must try! If you choose to opt in, or to pick up, the staff is also always friendly and nice. They are quick to assist you, and at times it can feel rushed, but they are super busy! the establishment is always clean when we visit, the restroom is also clean and fully stocked! A while back, I gave this place a poor review. I am leaving a new review because since last year, the quality of the food has risen exponentially. One of the very small number of Chinese food places in the valley that is consistently very, very good. This is not a chain, but a family owned place with just the one location. Over the past few months I've had: Orange chicken: really great with the right amount of 'orangeness'. I once had them add mushrooms to it, and the flavor profile was off the chain. Chow Mein: delicious, nice chew, never too soft or too oily. Chicken Teriyaki Skewers: SO good! If you're keto or diabetic, this will become your staple. You can make it a whole meal, and it's at an appetizer price! Tom Yum Seafood Soup (as it comes, or without tomatoes and extra spicy). They may put drugs in it to make me crave it so often. Great for low carbers. Kung Pow Chicken: great balance of chicken, veggies and spicy peppers! Tomato Beef with white rice: straight up delicious comfort food. Feeling down? Order the tomato beef. White Rice: standard white rice, no deficiencies, other than after a day or two in the fridge it can get dry. Nuke it with water or sauce, and then it's fine. Egg Rolls: I'm not an egg roll guy, but they always throw some in for free with my order. Better than any local egg roll I've tried, I don't even need that red dipping sauce. Crab Rangoon: (the little crispy shell with the cream cheese thingy inside) If I don't get these when I get food here,one of my kids gets irate. I've always gotten stellar service, and not just because of the egg roll hookup. Be prepared for a small dining area. Four booths that seat four, and four tables that seat two. Five or six of us came on Christmas Day, and they made it work. It's become a tradition, sort of like in that movie 'A Christmas Story'. I can understand the young lady behind the counter, even though she speaks very fast with a thick accent. It's cool. While waiting for my order, I stopped watching a show on my phone just to listen to her respond to phone orders. I don't know why, but it was way more entertaining than what I was watching, LOL! Their one bathroom is... a bathroom. I've seen much worse and much better...but I'm not really a bathroom snob. Overall, Lucky China has an authentic feel, smell and taste to it. If I could change anything, I would change their forks. I don't mind that they are plastic but the tines are super bendy. Okay to eat with, not great to dish the food onto plates. Don't be surprised if you see their kids helping by clearing tables or sweeping. Like I said, it's family owned and they take pride in their food. I finally found a great Chinese restaurant after trying many others that weren't so good. You have to try Lucky China behind the Starbucks by Walgreens. My favorite dish is the vegetable fried rice and I add shrimp. So most and delicious. It's definitely worth the trip. You won't be disappointed. read more

We first heard of Lucky China when they mailed us a menu with coupons, and we decided to try them for lunch one day. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, and my husband ordered the string bean chicken. We also ordered the egg rolls (from the coupon). The restaurant itself is a quick serve establishment, and the atmosphere is very casual. We were hoping we'd love this place. The meal began with hot and sour soup (lukewarm and meh) and the egg rolls (which were tasty but greasy). My husband's entree was great - 5 stars. Mine was pretty tasteless and gloppy, and there were only 6 small shrimp (probably 2-3 ounces total). If there's a next time, I'll try the mapo tofu (which looked great in the photos, is one of my favorite dishes and is hard to find in Henderson). read more

I went to Lucky China on 11/13/2025 at 4PM. Very disappointed. I spent over $25.00. I ordered War Wonton Soup and Singapore style rice noodles. Last time that I ordered here was in 2023. At the time the food was pretty tasty. Not on 11/13, the War Wonton soup had only a few wontons and they were shredded. The broth was tasteless. The Singapore rice noodles did not have flavor at all. I am very surprised and probably a bit over critical because I always ate Asian food in Philadelphia, PA and NYC and truly enjoyed the cuisine. I had 2 spring rolls masquerading as Egg rolls that were flavorless. This is a clean establishment, and they have an "A" food rating. Maybe the chef had a bad day or it was late in the evening?
