I really love this place and I'm going to tell you why. I had been looking for a really good inexpensive Chinese food place. Now I know that there are many here in the Las Vegas Valley, but not so many around my house. I first saw dragon bite when I was in the shopping center. Going to check out a Hawaiian barbecue place a few doors down when I saw this brightly decorated Chinese place and said I'm going to have to try that. A full disclosure; this is the fifth time I've been here. I thought I had written a Yelp review about it but I had not. Inside. The restaurant has very good seating. It's neat and clean as a pen, and the staff is very friendly. I'm a huge fan of the crispy beef but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I have not had an item yet that I would not order again! You really need to go check this place out, especially if you've got a hankering for some good Chinese food. Bottom line? The first time trying this spot and WOW... they did NOT disappoint. The Mongolian beef, house fried rice, and hot & sour soup were straight up AMAZING. Everything was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The second time I went, I ordered the shrimp egg foo young--and it was terrible. Instead of the usual, they served an egg patty that tasted like frozen hash browns, with the veggies and shrimp mixed into the gravy and poured over the top. I've never seen egg foo young done like that before. That said, the Mongolian beef, house fried rice, and hot and sour soup were all delicious, so I'll definitely be back. Dragon bite this evening so we picked up orders to go. I absolutely love the place. The restaurant was very quaint very plain with just enough decoration. The people behind the counter were absolutely wonderful. They made you feel like you were at home the food yeah oh my God it was so good. I will be ordering from there from now on and they are on DoorDash so yeah I give this place five stars cause that's all they have but if I had my way, they'd have 10 stars. read more

The food came out hot and fast. The service was good and the server was attentive, however the food was pretty good but the texture of some of the meats were too mushy. Many Chinese dishes use baking soda to tenderize the meat I think it sat with the baking soda too long. At least the flavor was good. This restaurant is located in a shopping center on Eastern and Sunridge Heights near CRAFTkitchen. The restaurant is very clean and has plenty of seating. The lady who works is so sweet and provides excellent service. She makes sure that you're enjoying your meal and checks up regularly. They menu is pretty big and the prices are very reasonable. Finally found another Chinese takeout that rivals good old NY Chinese Restaurant! Not quite as good as NYCR but the quality is there and the distinct variety will have me coming back. Can't wait to work my way through their Honey Walnut Shrimp, General Tso's Chicken, Dragon Bite Chicken, and Pepper Steak. Like many other Chinese restaurant menus in the area, theirs includes Family Dinner options complete with appetizers, fried/steamed rice, soup, and choice of 2 entrees; however, the customizability is limited. Really wish they allowed more options to upgrade to premium entrees and wonton soup for both Dinners A and B. And maybe threw in some free almond cookies for good measure! Finally a nice Chinese restaurant on the east side of town. Dragon Bite is a nice place to visit for dine in or take out. Inside is very clean and nicer than other Chinese restaurants in China town. Food is good for a family friendly restaurant where you can feed four adults for less than $50. Take out orders are prepared to order and are very large servings. A serving will easily feed 3-4 adults. It's not gourmet food but almost everything on menu is between $16-$19. Been there twice and quality is consistently good. Check it out for yourself. read more

First time yesterday and we know we'll frequent from then on. We got the family meal A which includes our choice of: Hot and sour soup- pretty good Crab Rangoon egg rolls fried shrimps- my little one said: deep fried to perfection! We chose this restaurant based on location because we're not from here. We were looking for something closer to an old school menu. Good choice!! The lady running the place on a Saturday afternoon was very helpful and attentive. We ordered fairly simple food...pot stickers, egg rolls and Szechuan chicken and shrimp. The pot stickers were perfectly prepared, crispy but not hard. The egg rolls were tasty. The Szechuan chicken and shrimp were a little on the extreme as far as spicy goes, but we like it that way although we didn't ask for extra heat. We felt highly valued as customers. We decided to get take out this time on our second visit since I'm working from home. Dragon Bite chicken was good but not as good dine-in. Mapo Tofu was good but I wish it was more savory and spicier. Salt and pepper Pork Chop was excellent. House Special Fried was good. The Black pepper beef was good but the sauce was a bit weak for me. The beef was good and it did not have a too much of coating from the velveting like we had on our first visit. Flavor was great. Only one suggestion, please do not use Styrofoam containers for takeout. Ours disintegrated, collapsed and ended up in a pool of sauce at the bottom of the bag. It was quite a mess. Tried Dragon Bite for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago and can't wait to have it again. Their Dragon Bite chicken, I can't even explain how good it was. It's like little strips of very crispy and spicy orange chicken without the orange flavor. Everyone else raved about the other dishes but I couldn't stop eating it and the shrimp fried rice (which is that darker East coast-style fried rice, IYKYK). This is our new favorite place. Prices are very reasonable, spent about $80 for 5 entrees and the fried rice, plus drinks, and the portions are generous so we had lots of leftovers to enjoy. read more

Came here at 4 pm on a weekend. General Tso chicken 9.5/10 , mongolian beef 7.5/10. Service was fast and efficient, casual ambience. Dinner sets were $14/each, includes soup, crab cheese dumpling, egg roll. It was a pretty good deal but don't give too much hope on the bonuses. In need of some dinner, and still on the look out for our "go to" Chinese take out, the hubby and I opted to try out Dragon Bite. There was definitely a big hit, but there were also a few misses. 3 stars: Hot and Sour Soup: It was okay, not the worst I've ever had, but definitely not my favorite. I kind of wished it would have had a bit more of the sour notes I associate with this soup, I think it would have really elevated that flavor, otherwise for me it was just little bland (but not salt bland). 1 star: Ma Po Tofu: This was the worst of everything we got. There was more sauce than tofu, and the sauce was really runny (and way too sweet). 3 stars: Crispy Beef: I liked this, not sure if the hubby did. I liked that the beef was not hammered and I thought flavor was good. 5 stars: Singapore Noodles: Never had them before, this will not be the last though! The curry sauce was very flavorful, but it was not overpowering as some curries can be. The shrimp were cooked very well (not rubbery), as was the pork. We just made our second trip to this restaurant and we were thoroughly disappointed...let me explain. My wife and I grew up in NE cities where good Asian restaurants were a dime a dozen. It seems the further west we traveled, the worse they became, especially in two areas...chicken wings and egg foo young. Wings aside (...no Chinese restaurants in LV cooks them well) it's the egg foo young that's disturbing in this restaurant. I cook and can make a respectable shrimp EFY, it's not hard. Egg, bean sprouts, chicken or shrimp filling, deep fried with brown gravy added. Not rocket science. Dragon Bite has decided that this time honored recipe should be altered so the chicken or shrimp filling should be in the gravy and not in the patty. In addition, THE PATTY HAS NO BEANSPROUTS!!! In fact the patty looks like a pre formed vegetable patty cooked on a grill. I tried to talk with the lead cook to express my disappointment and see if there was a compromise we could work out but she, (...with the help of an interpreter) assured me this was their way and would not change. Good luck! My first visit was a few months ago and the place was packed, no doubt due to initial positive reviews. Today...I saw one couple in the restaurant. Best Chinese food in Vegas I've ever had, bar none! I had the Crispy Beef and it is absolutely spectacular and 100% authentic Chinese flavors that are so hard to find. Super flavorful, huge portion and fresh as you can get. Wi Wi provides exceptional service, is very friendly and checks in periodically to make sure that everything is perfect.
