    Halibut
    Hari R.

I ordered the soup of the minute (Broccoli cheddar) which was really good. For the main course I ordered the Halibut full portion and it was okay in taste, but I liked the Barley Rissoto and the asparagus combination. There was not many servers and because of that the wait time was bit longer. The ambience is okay, nothing to highlight or not any downside.

my beloved yao ming took this of me

The place started out great and i ordered a ribeye steak. When i got the steak it was big but it didn't look like a true $48 worth. it was all fat and me personally i don't like fat. It was also cooked wrong and was purple instead of pink. However the desert was amazing definitely worth the wait. I got mousse and it was incredible! - sincerely, john pork

I ordered the ribeye through room service and it was scorched. It would save them so much trouble if they used an oven proof digital thermometer. It's not difficult to learn how to cook steaks correctly.

Forgive me, we we're hungry and split a burger!

Ambiance and service were wonderful. Our server was attentive and truly did a great job. This is a resort, so the food is pricier. No surprise there. We chose a bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was a delicious burger but the bun was burned and the burnt bun took over the flavor profile. Truly that was the only difference between me giving four stars versus three. I can't stand burnt toast, and evidently neither a burnt bun. So this may be a personal thing with me! Other than the burned bun, it was a good experience and I would recommend eating here.

Great service, but no breakfast after eleven. Upscale lunch menu.

Steak filet was top quality perfection with red onion marmalade and potato fries. Dessert was delicious Espresso Mousse to share. Lovely atmosphere and service was attentive.

Tried all the restaurants at this resort, and the food wasn't bad at all. Alot of negative reviews here, but I had a great experience. Service was great as the staff was friendly. They have a lot of choices here and are busy during breakfast. Eggs Benedict was simple and tasted well. Also, potatoes were soft and seasoned well.

The ambiance was ok. Quiet, clean, and looked pretty. But the food was a huge issue. There were only two families in the restaurant, including us, but it still took 30-40 minutes to get out our food. That's was hard on the kids to wait that long esp after a long drive to the hotel. But our waitress was nice and accommodating. When the food did come, our burgers were burnt. My husbands was still somewhat edible, plus he was really hungry, so he ate his. But mine wasn't edible. It just tasted burnt. And research has shown that eating super burned food can contribute to cancer--if you do it a lot. Thus, I prefer to just not eat that. Plus it tasted gross. When we told them, they took off the burger and just charged us for the side salad that I added on for $3. I ate that because I was super hungry too! The burger was $21 so I'm glad we asked them to remove it. My husbands burger was $18, and my sons grilled cheese and fries was $10. Pricey for what you get, but it's a hotel restaurant so we expected as much. But did expect a bit faster and better quality food for such high prices.

Rick's Cafe is located inside the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort. The restaurant has great ambiance but at the time of my visit, the restaurant had mechanical problems and the menu was limited to 4 items. The service was great but the food was just ok. Later on that night while in the lounge area watching football, we ordered chicken fingers and fries and the breading on the chicken was too thick. Maybe it was just bad timing and unfortunate. If I am checking IG I to the Westin/area I'll consider giving them another try.

I ate here twice during a recent stay. We had the breakfast buffet which was great since it was included in our stay. They have a lot of breakfast options including an omelet station. We also came here for lunch. The flatbread we got was not great but the Asian chicken salad was really good. The service was also very friendly.

Came here twice as I was a guest in the Westin. The atmosphere is nice, bright and welcoming. First time was evening and I just ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and some broccolini, and a glass of wine. There were two large parties of about 7-10 guests and two other tables of two, and then me. The wine took 15 min to come, and the salad took 40. I was thinking maybe it was grilled chicken or something, but no. The chicken was as cold as the lettuce it sat in. I ended up just getting it to go. It tasted fine. Neither great nor bad. Second time I came was for the breakfast buffet. I was seated and then shown where the food was. There was a great selection from eggs bacon sausage etc to pastries, bagels, oatmeal etc. Lovely fresh fruit section, lots to choose from. Sadly I didn't take a photo!! Not sure why Staff was always very pleasant, it just seems maybe under staffed. Would possibly return for the buffet but not any time where I would have to order and wait.

Enjoyed lunch at Ricks's Cafe. The Rick's Salad was delish, but nothing compares to this delicious Peach Cobbler Bread Pudding. A must try! Such great service from Renee.

Some really bad reviews in here but I had a very good experience. Yes it's one of the only food options if you aren't dining in the nicer restaurants. Is it the best food I've ever had? No. Is it overpriced because of the hotel? Sure! But it's good and the service was great! I was able to place an order to go so I could take it back to my room and it took a whopping 10 minutes. I had the Beyond burger and it came with fries (see photo). Really good! Wish I had known about the fries because I would have asked for ketchup or ranch. the fries were so good, great flavor. I also had the half order of the garlic mac & cheese and I didn't love it. There are actual chopped pieces of garlic in it. Sooooo many pieces. Like a sliver of garlic in every bite. I picked them all out. The pasta and cheese were great though. For dessert I got the peach cobbler bread pudding and it came with vanilla ice cream. It was great!

    Veronica M.

The buffet was ok, a little pricey for the selection and quality you got. The omelet was good and the guy making the omelet was a hoot and added to the experience. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful and I would go back for a different meal or maybe just order breakfast from the menu instead of the Buffet

So yeah first time and we stated this to our server Naveah. We sat close to the bar. We were approached and ordered drinks. Brunch basics. I said I understand this is the home of the Championship Bloody Mary (2025 Hammers Bar Contest) yes it is. I ordered it and well it was pretty basic, not bad, not spectacular but that's okay! We ordered an app, Coma Rolls, took a while to come out and we expected to get entrees at the same time, nope app came first-good. But it came minus the Turkey Gravy. When we got the servers attention and asked she went to the kitchen and returned to tell us the chef said that it wasn't ready yet and would take another 20 min.?? Did we want White Gravy? No fine food comes out looking great. My Salmon Salad, when she proudly stated it was Sushi Grade Salmon I was sold was really overdone The remainder of the salad was very enjoyable. My wife asked for a Club Lightly Toasted- no problem. It was Super Toasted and hard to eat for her. Also the menu said House Smoked Turkey, sorry but this is sliced Deli Turkey from a supplier. The Strawberry smash was really hard to drink due to the chunks of muddled strawberry in the bottom of the glass and the slim straw. Would have been better made from fresh purée and a bigger straw. So you are probably thinking I am being picky. Well perhaps but when you go out a place really needs to make your visits memorable in order to get you to come back. Not saying we won't but... No Wow Factor!

The staff was very kind, and we were greeted and seated immediately. We were given bread with a delicious pesto sauce to enjoy while we looked over the menus. They offer an impressive menu, and we honestly had a hard time choosing! We ended up with the Tortellacci Ripieni Brasato Di Manzo Al Tartufo Nero--braised short rib wrapped in fresh egg pasta with a creamy Alfredo-style sauce. The pasta is made fresh daily, and my BF could not stop raving after every bite that it was some of the most delicious pasta he's ever had. It really was mouthwatering. We also ordered the chicken Caesar salad and did not expect the portion to be so large! The chicken had a nice char and was a little dry, but overall, paired with the Caesar dressing, the flavors blended really well. The restaurant looks out toward the lake and greenery, with patio seating that would be beautiful during cooler weather. There's also a floating stage nearby with live music on Saturdays, which you can enjoy from the restaurant. Inside, there's a small bar with seating, and the overall atmosphere feels romantic and upscale. We noticed quite a few couples enjoying dinner. We visited in early August, which is definitely the off-season at Lake Las Vegas. MonteLago Village was pretty quiet, and when we arrived around 5:30 p.m., there were only two other couples in the restaurant. Over the course of our dinner, though, almost every table inside filled up. I can only imagine how busy it gets during peak season, so I would recommend reservations in advance. Even during the summer, it may be worth checking ahead if you want an indoor table during prime dinner hours. Wonderful service, fresh pasta, generous portions and a beautiful setting. I would absolutely recommend Luna Rossa to anyone visiting Lake Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, the experience was such a complete disappointment that I felt compelled to write this review. I ordered eggs over medium. They arrived with raw, runny, uncooked egg whites. Not once. Not twice. Three separate times. After the third attempt, I gave up. If a restaurant that specializes in breakfast can't properly cook eggs after three tries, that's a serious problem. To their credit, they comped my breakfast. However, what happened next was far more disappointing than the food itself. The owner came over while we were checking out. Rather than addressing me -- the person who actually had the issue -- he spoke exclusively to my dining companion and never once looked at me, acknowledged me, apologized to me, or treated me as though I even existed. I've honestly never experienced anything quite so rude or dismissive in a restaurant. I mentioned that I had previously owned two restaurants myself and understand that mistakes happen. His response? He said he had looked at the first two plates of eggs himself, but never once acknowledged whether they were prepared correctly or incorrectly. No accountability. No explanation. No apology. Just indifference and disrespect. I have to be honest: the way I was completely ignored while he spoke only to the man I was dining with left me with the personal impression that my opinion simply didn't matter to him. Whether intentional or not, that was exactly how it felt, and it made an already disappointing experience even worse. I've worked in hospitality. I understand that food can occasionally come out wrong. What I don't understand is treating a customer with such blatant disregard and disrespect, especially when they're giving you the opportunity to make things right. After waiting years to finally try Omelet House, I can honestly say it was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in Las Vegas. Bad eggs can be fixed. Bad service can sometimes be forgiven. But being treated as though you are invisible by the owner of the establishment is something I won't forget. I will not be returning, and I certainly won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone. After reading the response from Fred's wife Kelly here's my response to her because I have no way to comment to her response: Kelly, Thank you for taking the time to respond and for explaining Fred's visual impairment. I was completely unaware that he is legally blind, and had I known that at the time, I certainly would not have interpreted his lack of eye contact as intentional. I sincerely regret any hurt caused by my misunderstanding of that aspect of the interaction. That said, my review reflected my genuine experience as a customer. After receiving eggs with uncooked whites three separate times, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. While you did apologize and attempt to rectify the situation, I still felt that my concerns were not fully addressed, and that was the experience I shared. I have owned restaurants myself and understand that mistakes happen in any business. My disappointment stemmed not only from the food issues, but from how the overall experience felt from my perspective as a guest who had looked forward to visiting Omelet House for many years. I appreciate you providing additional context about Fred, and I wish both of you and the restaurant the best.
