I have been wanting to try this place for years ! We finally came here and its was great! Our waiter Terrie was amazing and so helpful with recommendations. This restaurant is very intimate but not overwhelming. We tried 3 different appetizers and they were all great. My favorite was the carpaccio and crab cake. The goat cheese wontons were good but not my favorite. The entrees we got were the Alaskan halibut and the cajun steak. The fish was our favorite ! I would go back just for that! The steaks as great too but I felt like it lacked some flavor compared to the other dishes. I highly recommend you come here and give it a try. Everything was made fresh!

What an incredibly disappointing experience. My family and I have been coming to Todd's for years, and after the service today, it will be awhile until I return. Everything was a wait, even when there were only about two tables in the restaurant other than my party. No, our server was not the only person assisting with the tables, so there's no excuse for how poor our experience was. It started when nobody asked my mother if she wanted another drink. In fact, nobody ever came over to ask us how our meal was or if we wanted anything. I didn't get anything to drink with the exception of water (I will get in to that in a second), but the waiter was in a rush dropping things off to our table. I wanted to get a Diet Coke, but the waiter rushed off before I could even order a drink. We got one large bottle of water to share between the two of us, which we finished before our entree came. Nobody came to check and see if we wanted more water. We finally asked for some water towards the end of our meal and the waiter was questioning us on why we wanted another bottle. It was as if he didn't want to sell us the bottle of water. So after going back and forth with him, trying to get a simple bottle of water, we thought the consensus was that he would bring it to us. He did not. There's other issues that I would typically shrug off, but these paired with the fact I couldn't even get a refill of water really made it an overall unpleasant experience. -the phone. It was on one servers belt the entire time. Every time someone would call, the ringtone was so loud, shrill even. I'm glad that people are calling, but there has to be a better way to hear the calls coming in, without it being so loud and disrupting to people already dining. Cheapens the experience and makes the ambiance less enjoyable. This isn't an office, it's a restaurant. Get an earpiece or lower the ringtone. Something. Anything. Would have been better. - the waiters attitude. He was smug and dismissive the entire night. He got the order right and that's the only thing we really didn't have an issue with. I get it. People can have bad days, but I don't like feeling like a burden that I am dining somewhere. Three Stars because we've had good experiences in the past. The desserts were tasty, so I took that in to consideration as well. Otherwise, it would be a one star. If I do come back, which will be in awhile, I can update my review

The "experience" at Todd's unique dining was fabulous. The ambiance was nice and quiet. Their bread and butter was SSSOOO delucious!! The food was outstanding, to include the appetizer, the dumplings, their ceasar salad and their main entrées, the Australian waygu and their filets of mignon beef.. their drinks were awesome! Our server, Teri and her team were great! We were a priority for them and they made us feel as though we were the only clients in their restaurant. I wish we lived closer to be able to go eat here more often. But will definitely return as often as we can

Chef/ownerTodd Clure and his wife were MIA this evening but we recognized our server who has been serving customers at Todd's since it first opened back in what I believe may have been the fall of 2007 with our initial visit shortly thereafter. We started with a shared pear and blue cheese salad which was truly delicious. Todd specializes in fresh seafood with an Asian twist so my wife ordered seared salmon with a green onion and ginger sauce accompanied by rice and bok choy. Alaskan halibut served with an artichoke and caper sauce and accompanied by mashed potatoes and assorted vegetables drew my attention. Both entrees were perfectly prepared and delicious while service was deemed excellent.

Restaurant week menu: salted caramel butterscotch pudding

Todd's has been on my list for years but I just never had a reason to come here. When I saw it on the restaurant week 2024 list, I knew it was finally the time to give it a shot and boy am I glad I did. Along with the complimentary bread, I ordered the watermelon salad, grilled flat iron steak with jalapeno cheddar polenta and BBQ butter, an extra side of charred corn and cherry peppers, and the salted caramel butterscotch pudding for dessert. I also tried my buddy's appetizers (goat cheese wontons and Asian dumplings) and dessert (lemon blueberry mousse). Let me just say, the name of this restaurant is spot on. With the exception of the starter bread and the Asian dumplings, everything else we ordered was something completely new and unique to my taste buds. I may have had those certain foods before, but never with those flavors or pairings. I was surprised that I had so many new tastes in one meal. It was truly exciting. I don't want to make this review too long so I won't go into every item but the standouts to me were the watermelon salad, the goat cheese wontons, and both desserts. The salad was like nothing I have had before then and it was just bursting with flavor but was also incredibly simple. The wontons were crispy but light and packed with cheese. They were paired with a raspberry sauce which seems odd at first but we were scraping it up with the wontons after our first bites. The desserts, first off, we quite a good size even though my pictures just show them in a little glass. My pudding was sweet, salty, and surprisingly light. I could've licked that glass clean. The mousse was even lighter both in taste and density and was a nice, bright way to finish a meal. The service was very prompt and kind and asked us if we would like more bread which is always nice. The décor is a bit dated to be honest and feels straight from the late 90's, early 00's. The booths were also pretty uncomfortable. They were completely 90's, maybe even 85 degrees and there was no arch support whatsoever. Overall though, it was a great experience and I will definitely be back to try their regular menu or even attend one of their special events.

This is going to make me sound so biased, but I've never tried Todd's, even though I've heard only good things, because it seems weird to me that a "nice" restaurant would be by the grocery store, movie theater, nerd store (lol) and dentist I go to. However, Valentine's Day was on a Wednesday, during a very busy week at work, we decided to be super low key and eat near our home. This is when I thought, "Well, why not finally try Todd's?" Good thing we did! First, I have to say the service here is INCREDIBLE. We were new, obviously, and there were many regulars coming in that night, but our server, and everyone else we came into contact with, treated us in the same friendly, excited manner. There seems to be a lot of care and concern and I appreciate that. Second, the ambiance is great. The restaurant is nice and clean, especially the bathroom. The colors are dark and the lighting is moody so it's very romantic. It kind of made me think of a home style café/pub in the UK/Europe, with the big bar and wine bottles. Third, the food! That short rib with the jalapeno mash is to die for and we've already discussed that when we get that craving for some meat, we are coming here to have this short rib. Also, the Brussel sprouts are amazing and I definitely recommend those! Four stars for the rest of the food. I wasn't hugely impressed with the green curry spinach salad, my surf and turf special or the dessert. I'll have to try different items next time we come in.

    Trout

Been hearing so many good things about Todd's. Was a little disappointed with the quality and small portions of our dinner we received. I had the trout and it was coated with ? Along with a nice sauce but not enough. The service and drinks were excellent. Got this place off our bucket list.

    Oktoberfest Special

I really enjoyed my meal here. We came on a Friday night and it was packed. We had the calamari appetizer it was really good. I also had the beer cheese soup which I enjoyed. Entree I had the Oktoberfest special and it was awesome. The schnitzel was 10/10! Another person had the filet mignon and it was really good too. Dessert we finished off with some chocolate cake. It was good. I really enjoyed the food it was like a home cooked meal but I didn't have to prepare it. Would definitely return. Service was excellent our waiter was a really nice guy. It's a relatively casual restaurant so no need to dress up.

This place has been open 20 yrs and they have a lot of regulars. Its been 7 years since our last visit and hopefully will be back again soon. Great food and service They gave us garlic bread to start and its so good. Their short rib just falls apart. I enjoyed my scallops with shrimp risotto and the lemon cheesecake mousse with blueberry compote is refreshing

Is there still a dress code here? My boyfriend and I were turned away for wearing nice jeans and nice shirts when we came here 4 years ago. If there is a dress code, what is it?

No, I don't think they have one. Someone in our party is a hairdresser and had just gotten out of work and was wearing super basic clothes.

I also ordered a drink made especially without simple syrup and only fresh fruit since I'm watching my sugar. The service was great. My drink was divine. Fresh mint and blackberries! I wasn't even planning on drinking with dinner but I had two! Unfortunately the food was not so great. I didn't read the menu well enough to see the chicken breast was breaded and fried - that's on me for not reading closely and expecting grilled - but even so, after pulling the breading off, the chicken itself was rubbery and hard to cut with a butter knife. They must have run out of linguini because I got angel hair pasta. The sauce was ok and the star of the plate ended up being the dressed arugula on top. I wouldn't order it again. That drink though! Yum! Again, service was fantastic and once we all sorted out the music situation the vibe was cool.

The moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease. We requested to spend some time at the bar while waiting for our reserved table to become available... What a GREAT decision that was!! We were very comfortable there and we both had AMAZING cocktails. The extra 30 minutes just slipped away with no boredom or disappointment. The cocktails were so delicious and satisfying and the bartender (William) was top notch. Seriously, great personality, great attitude, very smooth voice. I would come back JUST to sit at the bar. However, I was there to celebrate a very important milestone anniversary, so my time at the bar was brief... 2 rounds of drinks and we moved on to the dining room. BTW, we walked in at 6:25pm for a 7pm reservation - we had 2 drinks each, cashed out with the bartender and we were seated for our reservation before 7:05pm!! The place was HOPPING and we were served without delay, I'm super impressed by that! On to dinner we went... Our server was Laura and she had a wonderful man (Michael or Miguel? sorry, I suck at names) who was assisting her by filling water glasses and delivering plates. They make a great team and I enjoyed both of them. I ordered the steak tartare as my appetizer and my partner ordered a caesar salad w/ grilled chicken. We were both very happy with those choices. I've had many variations of tartare all over the country and beyond. This one was exceptional!! The texture was on point and the flavor was over the top. Even the bread it was served with is worth revisiting!! We both ordered ribeye steaks. (I would have loved to try the ribeye cap but it was sold out before we arrived. Oh well, next time!) I love the rarer side of medium rare, she loves well done but still juicy. Amazingly, both steaks came out at the same time and both were perfectly cooked! The accompanying sauces were the best I've ever had. I can't even imagine the magic used to create the bleu cheese sauce I ordered?! Rebecca got the brandied mushroom sauce and the charred onion sauce and OMG! The charred onion sauce was like they cooked the richest most perfect French onion soup and then reduced it for hours and hours until it became the consistency of gravy. I don't want to forget to shout out the roasted garlic mashed potatoes or the pistachio Brussels sprouts - both were delicious with excellent texture! I really want to try EVERYTHING on the menu but instead I will return time after time for the perfectly cooked steaks and I will pair them with each and every sauce until I'm tired of high quality beef grilled to perfection. (is that even possible?! IDK but I will find out) The seafood part of the menu looks great, might take me awhile to try it but HOT DAMN I'm looking forward to ALL of it! Sorry for not having photos of the steaks to share... I was so enthralled with the whole experience that I didn't even think to get my phone out! Whatever the mixed berry sundae was that Laura brought out at the end was so freaking good that I would come in for that alone if there was any other place nearby worth having my meal before coming in for dessert! (Sorry, NOT sorry Toro sushi - I will never stop loving you but I'm seeing someplace else now!)

There were 7…read moreof us and dad specifically asked to go there because of the first experience that we had. He loved the food and had a great time. This gathering was much different than the first. Since it's been two years, I don't remember a lot other than the fact that it took hours, as in more than 2 hours, for the entire dinner. The servers and busser were great, but there is only so much they can do when there is no food to serve. See the review with Sue B if you want more specifics. This last year, we decided to give it another try on Christmas. My father is now 92 and my mother is in advanced stages of ALzheimer's. We made our reservations for 7:30 and when we get there, the hostess told us that we would have to wait. She was very pleasant and apologetic. She kept us posted and when she finally sat us down 30 minutes later, she thanked us for our patience and told us that she would talk to the server about taking 20% off the bill. It went downhill from there. My mom sat down and when she went to move her chair in, it wouldn't move close enough to the table. The table was broken and the arms on the chairs were hitting it, preventing her from moving forward. The server from another table came over and opened the folded leaf part, which then wouldn't stay up straight. So they stacked menus on the arms on either side of her to keep the table straight. It was ridiculous and in hindsight, we should have just changed spots with her.    Everything took forever. We got drinks quickly and some bread, but then we waited. Finally we were able to place an order, where we were told the list of all the things that were no longer available. Fortunately, only a few of the things we wanted were on that list. I was the only one who ordered a salad, which came quickly. Then we waited again. Drinks ran out as we waited over an hour for our dinner. We sat at 8pm and received our dinner at 9:14. As we were waiting, we were able to see another table receive food they didn't order. They asked for the manager, who looked like the manager from Denny's the way she was dressed.  They received two orders of the replacement food. In the end, they had so much left over food, they left with two giant bags of food. Another table that was sat right before us, who were gamblers and had a comp for the restaurant, received their food almost immediately. They ordered, got their dinner and dessert and left before we even started. As time ticked by, I was struggling to keep my parents oblivious to the wait. Mom started to feel trapped in her chair because of the stacks of menus on either side of her. We finally got our food, which was good, but not good enough to make up for the excruciatingly painful wait.  Listen, I get it.  I know you make your money off the gamblers. You just provide this restaurant as a perk for them. Living in Boulder City, your restaurant is the closest thing to fine dining so that we don't have to drive too far. We wanted it to be great so badly. This visit was way worse than we could have even imagined.

They use a few above average-sized ice cubes, which is nice, but the single large ice cube is the better choice. It's not a huge pour either. Decent garnish. For $10, this isn't bad. They also bring out the complementary bread and whipped butter. There are actually three types of breads. For my first item, I'm having a bowl of tomato basil soup. Tomato basil soup is a flavorful and versatile dish, often made with tomatoes, fresh basil, onions, garlic, and broth. It can be prepared with fresh or canned tomatoes and can be made creamy with heavy cream or dairy-free by using milk, coconut milk, or a dairy-free alternative. The soup is typically pureed for a smooth texture and is delicious served with grilled cheese, crusty bread, or a side salad. This is yummy! It's nice and hot too. There quite a bit of basil in this too. For my salad, I'm having a Caesar Side Salad (light on cheese and dressing). This is made with tossed chopped romaine lettuce, house croutons, freshly grated Romano cheese and Caesar dressing. This was made just the o asked. Good job! The bottom of the salad is a whole romaine lettuce leaf. That's new. For my entree, I'm having the Salmon Pomodoro which is grilled salmon topped with a spinach pomodoro sauce and served with a side of sun-dried tomato polenta. Polenta is a dish made from boiled cornmeal, originating from Northern Italy. It can be served as a warm, creamy porridge, often topped with sauces or cheese, or allowed to cool and then baked, fried, or grilled. Polenta's texture varies based on the grind of the cornmeal--coarser grinds result in a firmer, more textured polenta, while finer grinds create a smoother, creamier dish. Pomodoro sauce is a simple Italian tomato sauce made primarily from tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, and fresh basil. The flavor comes from sautéing garlic in olive oil, adding the tomatoes, and simmering with basil. While onions are often included, they are sometimes omitted for a purer tomato taste. This salmon dish is good! The salmon has nice outer crunch and is cooked perfectly. I love the pomodoro sauce and polenta! For my sides, I'm having steamed broccoli, sautéed mushrooms (domestic and portabella mushrooms sautéed in olive oil and garlic) and meatballs (two jumbo housemate meatballs with their own marinara sauce and Romano cheese). The meatballs are good with a nice crust. Broccoli is perfect. The mushrooms have a lot of flavor. For my last drink, I'm having the 1930 French 75 made with Bombay Sapphire gin, limoncello and champagne. It's quite good and much stronger than the last drink. For dessert, I'm having the creme brûlée. Crème brûlée is a rich custard dessert with a hard, brittle layer of caramelized sugar on top. It is made from a simple base of cream, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla, which is baked and then chilled. The signature topping is created by sprinkling sugar on the chilled custard and caramelizing it with a kitchen torch or broiler just before serving. This came out quick! Nice blueberry garnish. It tastes great! What a fantastic meal here!

As a casino property, I like the M's modern look and upscale feel and its obligatory steakhouse, Anthony's, definitely fit right in. We walked up a little after its opening at 5PM to see if we could get a table since we didn't have reservations. We informed the hostess that we were planning to have a full-fledged meal and weren't there for Anthony's daily, 5-6PM, happy hour. That said, the hostess seated us in the lounge, which at first blush seemed perfectly fine. However, it was at this point things started to go off the rails. The hostess seated us with food menus, but not a cocktail or wine list, so when our server came to take our drink order, he had to get us a drink menu. Nothing on the cocktail list caught my eye so I passed on ordering a drink. The drink menu only listed cocktails, no beer or wines. We never received a wine list. As for food, we did take advantage of a couple of the happy hour BOGO apps ordering the Shrimp Cocktail ($24) and the Calamari ($18). We decided to share an order of the 18oz. Creekstone Prime Ribeye ($105) cooked medium-rare and a side of Sautéed Wild Mushrooms ($11). We received four extra-large shrimp that were presented in standard steakhouse fashion. They could've been jumbo shrimp, but regardless, the four shrimp looked overwhelmed by how it was plated. The shrimp cocktail was fine, but for the price, I didn't feel we received good value. I guess its saving grace was that the calamari was "free" as the second half of the BOGO. The calamari was nicely fried, tender without a hint of toughness, rubberiness, or greasiness. However, it ate very bland as the cornmeal batter seemed way under-seasoned. Our steak looked great. It came pre-sliced, which was a good thing because we didn't have steak knives when it arrived at the table. It's also a good thing that it was pre-sliced because I could see how unevenly it was cooked and the questionable quality of this particular steak we received. One half of the steak was practically mooing it was so rare, but the other half was dead-on medium-rare. Yes, I could've sent it back, but I didn't want to risk have the rare pieces coming out mid-rare and the mid-rare pieces coming back hammered. This wasn't my first rodeo with ribeye steaks, so I generally knew what to expect from this cut of meat. The rare side of the cut steak had more intramuscular fat than I expected based on its sourcing, price, and expectations for the kitchen's service standards. Despite it's uneven cook, the ribeye was still quite flavorful and butter knife tender...we truly were able to cut it with a butter knife. It was overpriced for what we received. I've paid the same amount or less for higher quality and better executed steaks at countless other steakhouses around town. The sautéed mushrooms were the food highlights of the night. Service from the two people who primarily touched our table was surprisingly solid especially given what appeared to the casual observer such as me that there wasn't sufficient service staff in the bar/lounge seating area that was at near capacity. Our primary server, Brian, took good care of us, but it was obvious that he had to cover too many tables as well as having to perform other, non-customer tasks, such as making a supply run to pick up more rolls of POS printer paper for the bar leaving tables unattended for a period of time and other diners looking for someone to take their order. Sorry, but in my mind, the manager on duty should've made sure the entire restaurant and staff was good to go prior to service and never should've taken a member of his service staff away from his customers for any amount of time performing tasks the manager could've handled himself. The other server, Manny, was timely and efficient in keeping our water glasses filled and promptly clearing dirty plates from our table. They were both rock stars! I'm not going to mince words. I was more than little disappointed in our overall experience. I didn't feel I received anywhere close to good value. In a town full of amazing steakhouses, average doesn't cut it in my book. I'm glad I went. I don't need to go back.
