I came in to buy a couple of subs 15 minutes before closing, and I immediately noticed the look on the young ladies' faces since they were already cleaning and getting ready to close. The girl who helped us rushed through it with an unfriendly attitude, I honestly don't understand why she acted that way if they were still open. My recommendation to the franchisee: talk to your employees so this doesn't happen again, or close earlier then! If it says you close at 9 PM, then don't accept any more customers at 8:30 PM and that's that , but as a customer, I don't deserve to be treated poorly for no reason. I still left a tip even though they didn't deserve it. I have to come back since it's the closest location to my house, but I would a thousand times prefer the service at the S. Eastern store. This was our first time here. It's literally 3 miles away from our place. We decided to check it out and do take out. I got the chicken chipotle cheesesteak sub with lettuce and my fiancé got the Mike's Philly. The chicken chipotle cheesesteak sub was very tasty, but when I got home to eat it , parts of my bread was soggy from the chipotle Mayo. I think next time, I'll get the Mayo on the side. What can I say about Jersey Mikes, it's my favorite sandwich place. I feel the quality is better, the food is good, and the choices are plenty. This location have always had a friendly staff and they take pride in what they do which is hard to find these days. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the original Italian. The Philly was good, not like the original from Philly but for out here it works to satisfy a quick craving. The Italian is my favorite sandwich here, I've not found any place that can match what they do here. The relish amazing, just a really good sandwich in my opinion. Came in last Saturday on a dreary very late afternoon/evening. I have had jersey mikes maybe once or twice prior. Honestly I go to another sandwhich place that is a little closer to my house for convenience. But that day I wanted to switch it up. Came in, place was very nice inside. Looked pretty new. There was no one in there when I arrived, but did notice that they did a lot of pick up orders. I decided on getting a hot sub. I got the Philly. It comes in 8 inch I think it was. Thats a good size for me. Not too small to leave hungry, not too much to feel bloated. After ordering it took 10 min or less. They make it fresh on the grill which was nice. Took it home with me, was nice and hot including the bun. Its in a good spot easy to get in and out of. Pricing was a bit high, but its definitely a good quality sandwich, which you can taste the difference in some of the others. read more

I get it, it's tough staffing any place now. But where is management? Where is ownership? On my last visit, there was rap music blaring from the back kitchen, intermixing with the less offensive front house music whose contemporary soft rock songs don't drop the N word nor reference non-consensual sodomy. When I checked out I was charged a higher price for the wrong sandwich, though when I said to apply the excess money for more gratuity (on top of what I already gave) no thank you was offered. As my readers know I HATE IT when I tip well and it is not acknowledged. To give credit, the cashier did apologize. But, the sins that prompted this negative review were prompted by a green bell pepper. When making my sandwich, there were no green bell peppers nearby. So the sandwich maker grabbed a clear plastic bag of whole peppers. WITHOUT any inclination to wash the pesticides off of any of the peppers, he grabbed one, cut the top off with a knife, and then, right in front of myself and other customers, bagged the pepper repeatedly on the INSIDE of filthy, half-filled garbage can in attempt to loosen the seeds. No shame, and no situational awareness. He then proceeded to slice the pepper and put it on my sandwich. HOLY CRAP! How much weed is this kid smoking? Unbelievable! Ownership can watch this atrocity on camera if there's any doubt that it actually happened. Does this Caucasian Rastafarian diligently wash his hands after using the restroom? I'll wager not. He probably just bangs his hands on the inside the restroom garage can. Nice going kid, you just cost your franchise a half star from the aggregate rating. This location just opened this week and I did not expect the service to be perfect right away. However, they exceeded my expectations for a newly opened business. I think it is important to support local business owners in our community. Given the staffing shortages the pandemic has caused our world, I too find it important to be kind and patient. Ordered two sandwiches and paid online last week during lunch hour. Arrived to a very busy store with people behind the counter not greeting anyone who came in. I spotted an area at the counter which had bags of food for pick up. When I went to retrieve mine one of the workers asked my name and proceeded to give me the bag. It would've been helpful if they had a system where people were greeted and accommodated quickly. I think their sandwiches are overpriced. They are tasty but I think $21 for a foot-long is on the pricey side. But if you're just not in the mood to make the sandwich, yourself at home and you want to indulge sure. The location is convenient to a lot of subdivisions in the area. I did place a carry out order and the one thing I didn't like about that. Is the bags for carry out are piled on the counter with your full name on the receipt. One of my carry out orders, the tabs that they put on it to seal your bag when I came to get mine the seals was broken open. None of the employees said a word. My bag was the only one on the counter. It would've been nice if somebody working there said oh I'm sorry about that. We forgot to put something in there or explained because I didn't know if someone had tampered with my food or if an employee forgot to put something in the bag, I have no way of knowing. The other reason I don't like the carry out bags being piled up on the counter right next to the door, I could be anyone and just walk in and grab an order. Since they don't acknowledge you and It's a small location. There's really nothing to stop someone from grabbing something that doesn't belong to them. I do enjoy their sandwiches though, to me taste very good. I do think they need to work on their customer service in terms of greeting everybody that comes in the door. I was very exited for this location to open since I live in the neighborhood and is very convenient. Today I entered the store a few minutes before 5pm. Only one customer was inside and they were already working in his order which was a hot sandwich. The young man that was working on an online order was very polite and greeted me, then asked for my order. At this point a young girl that also works there walked in and started a conversation with both men working in the back. They were talking about the girls mom wanting a sandwich and all the details about it. A bit of profanity came from the guy working the hot sandwiches as well. The man starts to work on my order, looks at me and says. "What kind of sandwich did you order"? I replied. Then he goes to grab the wrong bread, I corrected him, then cuts the bread in half when I wanted the Giant size and again I corrected him. At this point I don't want the sandwich anymore. I let him know that I didn't want the sub and walked out, I briefly returned asked for management and was told that he-she had walked out and that he was In charge at the moment ( the guy that took my order). To the owner of this franchise. Your employees seem to have it down when it comes to greeting but they seem to get distracted rather easily and socialize a lot in front of customers. I use to work food service and I get it coming in before close is not ideal but I came in 45 min before close.
