I went with her recommendation to get the classic chopped salad and I loved it. The dressing is nice and tangy plus the chicken was nicely seasoned and not rubbery, something hard to find. This spot is near my office and I was happy to know they also offer catering. There is plenty of seating inside and the place is kept clean. I was really excited to try Chop Stop out, as I was in a mood or a great salad. It came pretty highly recommended, so I thought my girlfriend and I would go check it out. One of the things that made us go was the promise of clam chowder. Now I have been a huge clam chowder fan ever since I was a young child, so clam chowder and a salad sounded absolutely amazing. We took the ride over to Town center where we found the place pretty easily. Park the car and went inside. The place was nicely appointed, although when we walked in no one of was at the front counter for a moment. And then someone showed up and we gave him our order which was two salads, two clam chowders and a couple of drinks. We sat and waited, and eventually our order came up. The clam chowder came in a small cardboard cup, with some oyster crackers. I wanted to have the clam chowder before I dug into the salad, so I opened it up. Was it looked like the milk had separated, and it looked very watery. I tasted it and it had a really odd taste to it. I showed it to my girlfriend who tasted and said don't eat any more of this. This is spoiled. Ewww ..... not good. I took it back out to the front, at first. They wanted to exchange it for the tomato soup, but since I do not like tomato soup I said Well, why don't we just take it off our bill. Since I had paid with the InKind app, she had to reach out to the manager to see about doing that. They were unable to refund the money but they said they were going to "Make it right" and that the manager would call me the next day. Well, the next day came and went, so I decided to wait an extra day before writing my review. Since this happened on a Saturday, and the manager was supposed to call me on a Sunday. I definitely had some Grace as I am sure the last time you wanted to do on a Sunday was deal with customer problem. So Monday came and went and still no message. I don't know about you, but if there was a customer problem with spoiled food I would have reached out ASAP to make sure I got it right. Sadly that did not happen. As someone who has been in the food service industry, I know how critical it is to take care of something that went wrong, ESPECIALLY if it involves spoiled food! In this case I felt discounted, uncared for, and that my business (and well being) really didn't matter at all. I did have a pleasant experience with the salad though, which is why I gave it three stars. The people behind the counter were gracious, but the lack of follow through on the part of management is something that really sticks in my craw. Bottom line? Food was good, they have plenty of options of salads, rice bowls, and wraps. Only issue is they are pricey and the cashier made it seem like you can substitute stuff for free but once we paid and got the receipt it was $45 for 1 salad, 1 rice bowl, and 1 half size salad. Only thing we changed was as tomatoes for beets and beans for edamame. Doesn't seem like that's a big huge substitute. Inside is nice, has a few tables to eat inside which we did. The salad is a warm bowl that's beautifully layered with warm cilantro rice, black beans, warm corn, juicy tomatoes, crunchy green bell peppers and pickled red onions, topped with light chunky tuna salad, crispy fried onions, and fresh crisp lettuce, served with a mild spicy and creamy chipotle dressing, YUM! Every ingredient in this salad bowl is so lovely! It has a perfect balance of protein, carbohydrates, veggies, and all of it is nutritious. They offer a nice selection of snacks, sweets, and beverages such as fountain drinks, canned, bottle, and lemonade. I chose unsweetened brewed tea and requested a cup for iced tea, very refreshing! Upon entering we were greeted by a fantastic employee Alex who walked us through all the items on the menu. I decided with a steak burrito and a salted pretzel. The Mrs opted for a build your own Chop with spinach and romaine lettuce, garlic steak, feta and parmesan cheese, avocado, red onions, sunflower seeds, almonds, corn and a dill goddess dressing. Thr drinks were a water based lemonade and water. The lemonade was ok but was most likely the low point of the entire meal. The garlic steak chopanini was pretty good. It was big enough for sharing for at least 2.5 people. The flavor profile didnt just lay in one area of the chopanini but throughout. I enhanced the taste with a side of sesame teriyaki sauce which was the chefs kiss. The Build your own chop as stated by by tye Mrs. Was good and filling. The low point of the salad was the small portion of steak that was on the salad and the ration of spinach/romaine lettuce to other toppings that was ordered. Seating outside was ok, but it could have been better with dual umbrellas to combat the bright beautiful sun that was beaming on us. Bottom line would we return, yes. This place used to be really good. My husband and I got some takeout today. It's been at least six months since we've been there and the Chef Bree. She was always there as a little girl with a short hair and glasses. She was a tentative one day she was doing everything and cooking, and all her food came out on time always amazing today not so much. She delivered very POOR customer service by not acknowledging/welcoming us upon arrival when my wife said "Hi!" and made my wife feel uncomfortable by the nasty look she gave her upon walking up to the cashier. After taking our order she immediately looked down & started texting on her phone. The food, as it never disappoints, was good. Besides the fact she forgot our extra side of dressing we paid for. But all the other times my wife and I visit the food and service is incredible but idk what the deal was with Alessandra Other than that, Chop Stop is BUSSIN!! But, the employee (maybe, Manager?), Gia made the overall experience great. I rarely feel compelled to write a review for anything - especially for a quick serve restaurant. However, Gia's warmth, attention to detail and pride for this business was worthy of taking the time to write. Gia is warm, welcoming, very knowledgeable about their menu items, and patient with slow to decide newcomers. All of that deserves so much praise and recognition. However, that alone is not what brought me to write this review... It was watching her in her downtime. I saw chips, beverages, etc. getting re-stocked - and in a very orderly fashion. Then, she moved on to wiping down surfaces - going so far as to cleaning fingerprinty glass of the front door and windows. She was doing this while continuing to carry herself in a pleasant, approachable manner. We all know how some employees approach the tasks they just see as a chore and don't see as vital to the business! Typically, we see apathy - not Gia! As I noted, I do not know if Gia is Management or, even, affiliated with ownership. But, she is a vital part of that business. If Gia is not management or affiliated with the franchise(?), I do need to compliment management for having high standards for training and hiring good people. Next time I am in town, when I need lunch in the suburbs, of all the choices out there, I will come back to Chop Shop to support a well run business. Congrats! read more

The location is very conveniently located near Total Wine. They take pride in fresh , healthy ingredients and you can customize your meal with many choices. We stopped in to get away from the strip for a while. This location is less than 10 minutes from the strip. It's located in a strip mall near many other restaurants and shops, parking is plenty. The workers are super friendly and helpful, especially if you have not been to their location before. They have a wide menu of panini like items, bowls, and salads. You can make your own or order from their preselected menu. We tried the build your own bowl and Mediterranean salad with lemon vinaigrette, both were huge portions and very delicious. We also tried the pretzel stick super fresh and delicious, it paired so well with the salad. Wow! More than a salad is right! Stopped in for late lunch with my son and we both got make your own salads. With chips and a drink. They were a little pricy, almost $40 including tip but they are huge! They came out in recycled bowls (plastic tops and spoons). Fresh and delicious and quick! So much to choose from and more than just salads they do their version of burritos and paninis. Also highly recommend the pineapple cream soda. I work close by so this will be my new lunch spot when I don't pack a lunch, also only saw two other customers while we were tbere (2.30 on a Wednesday). Most of their salads are $15 and up plus tax and often charge another few dollars extra to have meat. Paying about $20 for a lunch salad seems like way too much for me, especially when it seems like they sparingly add the topping and you won't have left overs. The place is very simple and the green color is throughout, making it visually appealing. A few tips: Parking is hard here during lunch time. Order ahead so you can park in their reserved pick-up area (note that is only two spots though). So far, we have ordered the Salmon Chop, Viva Mexico Chop and Create Your Own Salad. They are very accommodating and you can personalize your salad to your heart's content. Everything looked and tasted fresh. I love creating my own salad and opting for kale and spinach since the pre-created salads use chopped iceberg lettuce. Best of all, they don't charge extra if you decide to opt for other greens. There were about less than ten tables available indoors so I wouldn't recommend this spot for long term meet ups but more of a casual grab n go place. I think this place is going to be trouble for me! I had been wanting to try Chop Stop after passing it a few times, I'm always looking for a really good salad. I was not disappointed! They have creations that you can order, or you can build your own, and the price varies depending on the salad. I got the Caesar both times I've been, but with red onion instead of celery. That was about $12, which is good for the size, which is huge! I can eat a bowl of this salad on and off for a good hour or two. I think it's absolutely worth the money. The first time I went, I ordered ahead, and there wasn't any wait. The second time, I went in to order, and again, there was no wait.
