We stopped by Potato Corner at Town Square yesterday (Sunday, August 9th) sometime between 12-1 PM. It was extremely hot outside, and my husband went up to the counter to ask if you had Coke Zero. The employee told him no, which is completely fine, no big deal at all. What was disappointing was the attitude that followed. We walked over to the Auntie Anne's next door, and we could hear the Potato Corner employee yelling, "No, we don't have Coke Zero," with a very irritated tone. If that had been the only comment, I probably would have let it go because I understand employees probably get asked the same questions repeatedly. However, for the next minute or two, we continued hearing her complain to her coworker about how annoying that question was. We were close enough to hear the conversation clearly, and it was pretty off-putting. I understand that being asked the same question all day can probably get frustrating, but it's still part of the job, and there's no reason for a customer to be made to feel like they were annoying someone simply by asking if a drink was available. We were just trying to grab a drink on a very hot day and enjoy an afternoon of shopping with our friends. Unfortunately, this interaction left a pretty negative impression. Employees could benefit from some retraining on how to have a productive human interaction. They aren't afraid to let you know how much you've inconvenienced them by asking simple questions about their menu items. We love potato corner! They're in a great location nestled right by the benches and grass/park area. However it's become a bit expensive for some french fries. $19 for two of their small cups. The workers were nice though and it came out quickly, maybe about 5 minutes from when we ordered considering it was a busy Saturday. I am a classic girly and always get cheddar. Right now they have some new flavors and one of them was wasabi. It was definitely tasty and I'd get again! I used to be obsessed with potato corner and would drive out over 20 mins specifically for this when I was craving fries. It's cooked to the perfect amount of crispiness (still is). Cute little spot to get some fries. The staff was friendly and helpful. How fun is the seasoning! There are a handful or so to choose from. We decided to go for the sour cream and onion seasoning, super large size, and regular fries since it was our first time. We came in the middle of the afternoon on a school day and there was not very many people in town Square. Our fries came out pretty fast and nice and hot. There is a good amount of seasoning on the fries and each fry had seasoning. I thought this was a great little spot For families or groups of teens to grab and share. We love French fries, so we decided to give this place a try. They have a variety of different types of potato products including different types of French fries and potato chips. They are made fresh, so be prepared to wait a while (some customers were being quoted 20 minutes). We decided to try the potato chips and curly fries. They were decent. Not amazing. This is one of my favorite place to get some fries, I'm sad that the one at galleria mall and meadows closed down long time ago. But I'm glad that the Town Square one remains open. This place can get really busy, long lines and long waits especially if there's only 1-2 people handling the whole operation. So I get it when sometimes the staff are really short or sounds in a hurry and rude. The location has changed for the better, the new location and establishment looks way better than before. We came by because their posted hours said they were open until 9:00 PM, but when we arrived, the kiosk was already closed. The employee was actively packing up for the night, even though it was still before their listed closing time. What made it more frustrating was that every other food kiosk around them was still open and serving customers. They were the only one shutting down early, which left us confused and honestly a bit annoyed after driving over expecting to grab something to eat. If the hours have changed or if they close early sometimes, that really needs to be updated or clearly posted. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly but it was a bit of frantic energy especially for a Sunday at like 4pm. I ordered a kids meal and was a bit underwhelmed. Funny thing: my first time trying Potato Corner was here in Town Square and not somewhere in the Philippines. I didn't even know it was a Philippines-based franchise. But I've been coming here since I was in high school, and I loved the original fries in sour cream and onion, BBQ, or chili BBQ! Everyone who works here is always nice, and though the wait time is often around 20 mins and can get as long as 45 sometimes, it's worth it because there's a whole mall you can explore while waiting! Repeat customer here for a good reason: It's my go-to when I crave seasoned fries. My favorite is a combo of BBQ and the sour cream & onion. The service could be better/faster but they make your fries fresh after you order so it does take some time for them to make. The wait is worth it (~15 min, depending on how busy they are). Potato Corner is sooo yummy and an amazing snack to get at Town Square! I swear they need to open more around Las Vegas. The line is usually long. I went to two days in a row so both experiences were a little different hehe. The first time was a Friday night when they were about to close (10 minute wait). There was no one but me and my party around 5 people. The second day was a little busier since it was late afternoon on a Saturday (30 minute wait). It was so crowded it took a while to find seating. It was nice to sit down and talk with my mom and watch the kids play. I like how they make it fresh and crispy. The best flavor is the sour cream and onion. This place is always a solid choice whenever I visit TS. This place is a hit or miss in terms of how busy it can be so sometimes you may get your fries longer or not as fresh. However let's be honest, fries will still taste fire even when you waited a few mins longer, slightly soggy or a little cold lol. There are usually a lot of teeny boppers here so seating outside by this place may be taken 99% of the time so I don't even bother to wait for seats to open up and instead just stroll while chomping my fries. The staff are usually friendly and most of the time the fries are consistent but you can't expect Michelin tire service here. This is a favorite because I love fries so I'll keep coming back here every chance I get when at TS. Also I'm not sure where else they have another location aside TS as the Galleria location closed down so this place is basically a state treasure now. read more

Really expensive for fries and they were not that good. I got the curly fries and most of it were tiny scraps and hardly any potato or parts that were curly fries - it also made it pretty salty. The wait for the fries was also a very long time which I wouldn't expect for a fast food type store that mainly only does fries. You can get sprinkle flavoring to add to the fries but they said you can't get it on the side so if you aren't sure if you will like the flavor on your entire fries or not you will be out of luck and stuck with flavored fries you don't like. Overall a disappointing experience and there are other fast food joints that do way more than fries but do it better for less cost. I love potato corner in LA and was so glad that Vegas has it too. But I was very disappointed here. It was not the same at all. The worst i have ever tried. Plus the waiting time is super long. In addition the stuff is very rude. Also I asked for a cup of water for kids when picking up order and they refused to give. It was so hot outside and kids were thirsty but the girl said they only sell it. Soo human-less. I bought the water from next door but not from them. Lopez Daniel is a horrible listener as he was to busy talking to his coworkers I had to repeat myself 5 times and he did not even get the right size as i asked for 1 giga and 1 mega but I only received two mega. Another problem was they did not warn me of the "20 min wait time" but when I checked back in after 20 minutes they told me that since my order was "bigger" although I ordered just two Mega loopy fries. They told me that it would take 15-20 more minutes. After I got my order after 45 minutes I told them I had ordered 1 giga and 1 mega they just told me that they had charged me for 2 megas and did not give me any sort of compensation. This place is located at town square by the park area with table and chairs out front in case you want to enjoy your food right there . it's a small stand alone shop surrounded around other food shops .
