Wife would not re-order the Sweet Potato Fries- they were over-cooked and bland. My Fries were good and hot.

We visited Parlour Brunch and Late Night Burger Bar in Vegas, and the atmosphere was warm, cozy,…read moreand inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict with arugula and roasted tomato salad, and I'd give it an 8/10. The Benedict was a little salty for my taste, but thankfully, it didn't overpower the other flavors. The seasoning and hollandaise sauce complemented the dish really well. My father ordered the exact same thing and absolutely loved it. My mother went with the Mexican Avocado Toast, which she rated a 7.8/10. She also found it slightly salty, and the dish was a little cheesier and oilier than she preferred. Since she isn't a big fan of cheese, that affected her overall rating. However, she still enjoyed it enough to finish her meal. My wife ordered the Chicken & Waffle Mac, which was definitely an interesting and creative take on the classic chicken and waffles. Having macaroni incorporated into the waffle made the dish unique. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and she gave it an 8/10. Thinking there wasn't any macaroni with her entrée, my wife also ordered a side of Cheesy Macaroni. She was pleasantly surprised by it and gave it a 9/10. It ended up being one of her favorite parts of the meal. Overall, Parlour Brunch and Late Night Burger Bar was a solid family dining experience with a comfortable atmosphere, creative dishes, and plenty of flavor.

We ordered the fish and chips, which were just okay (small fish portion). One of us got the short rib sandwich and really enjoyed it. Another coworker ordered breakfast and liked her meal as well. The biggest disappointment was the pull-apart Cinnabon. Unfortunately, it wasn't soft, and the cream cheese frosting wasn't sweet at all. It definitely needed more sugar. No one in our group liked it, and for $21, I'd definitely pass on it. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. She brought us all the condiments we asked for and kept our drinks filled, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a nice time celebrating, but there were definitely some hits and misses with the food.

A friend recommended we stop here for breakfast or lunch on our way to Zion, Utah. We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

I sometimes mosey into the 'D' Casino for some gambling and nitrates because the thought of…read moreblackjack and bacon makes me grunt so happily. Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives.
