I initially experienced Hencredible because of a Yelp Experience. My kids loved the leftovers and were requesting it a couple of days later when we needed to pick up dinner to go. Hencredible is mostly a to go place as it only has one two top and a few counter seats when dining in. They also post about their cute bags on their social media, which I didn't get on my first visit since I dined in that time. On this last visit, I ordered via their website which is very easy to navigate. They were out of the mushroom fries on my first visit, so I really wanted to try them on this visit. The Husband got the KFC Sandwich ($10) with medium heat. He really enjoyed the cider slaw and Korean radish but wished he got the Hot heat as it wasn't spicy enough for him. The Little Gal got the Loaded Waffle Wreck ($13) because she wanted the shredded jack cheese. However, there was no cheese in sight, and the waffle fries were only okay. Next time, we would probably just do the KFC Bites and fries/mushroom fries instead with the sauce on the side too. The Little Guy got the KFC Bites ($7) and it only came with one sauce. Midway through, he was asking if there was any more sauce and I had to tell him no unfortunately. I got the Mushroom Fries ($5) and it also came with one sauce. I really enjoyed the flavor of it but probably would have liked it even more if I had it fresh. When I went to pick up my order, I noticed it was in a plain brown bag and asked about their special bags and was told they ran out. While in the car and distributing the food, I noticed I had only two sauces - one for the KFC Bites and one for the Mushroom Fries. (I was given two sauces for my KFC Bites during my first visit.) I went back in to ask about the sauces and told them I had received two sauces the other day. He asked what day and I told him on Wednesday and he said they were not supposed to do that. He was very indifferent about the whole situation and didn't offer to sell me another sauce or anything. So, I was a bit bummed with this experience because of the inconsistency with sauce distribution. I heard one of the gals tell another customer that Classic is like no spice and mild is like a level 2-3. But I'm glad I rolled the dice because it was just right! The fries have that tempura texture so they are super crispy, the way my picky son likes it. The onion rings were more of a beer batter texture and tasted amazing as well. The mushroom fries were a surprise; soft like a French fry but saltier and a little chewier, similar to good ole clam strips. Came in right when they opened, so there was no wait at all. It was my first time here and they recommended the KFC Combo with Mushroom Fries. While I was waiting, I was honestly just taking in the place--the modern look and the little plushies around the restaurant made it feel really welcoming. I cannot stress this enough- if it is possible at all to eat inside the venue, by all means, please do. I had a brimming full crispy mushrooms container previously this time it was half full and seemed not as fresh as before. Other than that, everything was excellent and I will be back again. Seating may be a challenge if you plan to eat there. It's very limited. There is one table and the rest is bar seating. If you go down the hallway to the bathroom there is more bar seating along the length of the hallway. Let me start by saying that medium is hot anywhere else. Hot has a bit of ghost pepper in it. Ghost pepper level is excruciating. You've been warned! My husband said he prefers the medium after trying all 3. I prefer the medium too. Now having said all that, this is still my favorite chicken sandwich place. The thigh meat is seasoned well and the batter is brilliant, textured and packed with a punch of spicy flavor. The Hencredible sauce is not spicy. It's creamy and tart, offering a complimentary contrast. The flavors are layered and intentional in the best possible way. The bun is soft and delicate and does not sheild the taste of the whole. And that daikon and coleslaw? Brilliant! I ordered the fried mushrooms with my meal. There is an ever so slight hint of nutmeg but it is not sweet. I recommended to my smiling server that a great vegetarian option would be to replace the chicken with the fried mushrooms in the sandwich. We had part of our order there and part to go. I highly recommend eating there even though seating options are incredibly limited. The girl up front was very nice and helpful with everything. The furikake fries were extremely good and flavored really well. The loaded waffle dish was fantastic with the sauce and the fries and the seasoning on the chicken. While it is a limited menu, I love that the spice level is customizable. I got the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) bites combo with the waffle fries. The classic seasoning has great flavor but no heat which is perfect for me. There are also 4 levels of spice you can add. The waffle fries were crispy and delicious and everything came out quickly. First off, I was kinda sad that I gave them my name for the order, but they thought I said "Fang" and therefore spelled my name as such. I think the cook seriously forgot to put in any seasoning into the batter. There was no salt, pepper or seasoning that I could taste in the batter and reminded me of cardboard. At this point, my preference goes with choosing what is easier to eat and something that's not too messy. The combo comes with your choice of fries and a bottled drink. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and full of flavor! You choose your spice level on these, ranging from no spice to ghost hot. In my experience, classic just adds flavor and there is no spice to it. Mild is a very small amount of spice. I may have to go with Medium the next time to see how much heat it will add. The Hencreidble sauce is like a spicy mayo sauce and was pretty good. I have only ordered the Furikake Fries. The fries are nice and crispy, but the Furikake does not stick to them very well. Funny side note: the one time we ate at the restaurant there was a Asian guy who ordered to go and he asked the cashier "what is Furikake Fries?" We just had to look up and stare, LOL! This was our first time trying them. A tip if you don't like spicy get plain. Their mild is not mild it's about the level of flaming hot chips. The restaurant isn't very big it has one 2 seat table and some seats along the wall. The staff was friendly. We for the mild chicken sandwich and loaded fries. Both were really good. It was rough for me to get through only due to it being spicy, but the flavor of the food is good. I asked if they had ranch to cool the food down but they didn't. I would def recommend they add it to the menu. We will def be back and I will get plain. If you have not tried them I would give them a try. read more
