So this has quickly turned into my "go to" sando shop. I was just introduced to this place about a month ago and can basically say ive ordered from here at least once a week (sometimes twice). The environment is hospitable , they have beers on tap, and the sandos are just so good. I have yet to go wrong with any of them but my favorites are the Primanti and the Rachel. Ive also had the caprese and the italian hoagie...and eyeing the other ones at this pt. The side of fries are crispy and delicious as well and then the mac salad with spam is just solid. Honestly just really solid sandos packed with flavors and love the variety of sandos they have. Definitely the spot for me and will continue hitting it up to try all the options read more

I've been coming to Proper Sandwich since they first opened, back when the owner was still taking orders himself, and it has truly been one of my favorite places ever since. Every single sandwich is made with so much care you can genuinely taste the love in the food. They have options for everyone, the sides are always amazing, and even the kids' sandwiches are so good. It's one of our go-to lunch spots and has been for years. Today especially meant a lot to me. I'm currently pregnant and asked if they could heat up the meat on my sandwich, and not only did they do it without hesitation, they added a sweet little note on my order letting me know. It was such a small gesture but it honestly made me cry. That kind of thoughtfulness is so rare. They've never messed up my order, the quality is always consistent, and the experience is always great. Truly a 10/10 every single time. I've enjoyed how consistent Proper Sandwich Co's flavors are. The interior is small yet clean, and the service is always kind and quick. Skip the "Italian hoagie", there is never enough meat on it (though the homemade giardiniera is great)! Kyle's Chimichurri Beef is a flavor bomb in every bite! The homemade chips are great too. The "Prime Beef and Cheddar" feels like a premium Arby's. My wife is a fan of the Turkey club and the banh mi! I wasn't impressed with the "Rachel" (pastrami sandwich) - perhaps the dressing and slaw wasn't dialed in. I'll try The Hat Trick next time instead - funny, since The Hat just opened down the road! Solid sandwich place. I regret not making my friend split one with me and trying a different sandwich instead of getting two bahn mi because they were good, but would have probably given the 5th star had I tried the Italian & it blew me away. Sandwiches are filling for the price, but two sandwiches, one order of chips, and two cookies was almost $50 after tip which is nuts for lunch, especially a sandwich. Very cool sandwich shop, great atmosphere, loved the music, customer service was excellent by the gentleman working today Sunday 6/1 around 1:30 pm. He was very friendly and recommended a few sandwiches for us. He also offered a water cup which was nice considering the temperatures outside and most places you have to ask for a water cup, he definitely anticipated customers needs. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing! Better than crumbl for sure, the salt gives it a really savory touch. I got the Italian hoagie toasted and the flavors were really great. The caprese sandwich was so refreshing, the pesto spread they use was yummy! I was amazed by them having fries, most sandwich places don't have fries and the fries were delicious. Food was delicious! I had the roast beef and cheddar with onion straws and "Arby's" sauce and the 1000 horsey sauce. So good!! Stayed warm the ride home,l. Husband had the Italian sandwich. Great au jus and he said the super stuffed sandwich was also delicious. I went inside to pick up and grabbed some homemade potato chips. BBQ dusted and thick and crispy. So glad I did! This is a very unassuming sandwich spot in a random strip mall area, as most incredible places are! It's counter service and I ordered the Italian Beef sandwich with fries. The fries were crispy and delicious with seasoning, and the sandwich was hot and delicious and had an amazing au jus on the side to dip. Immensely disappointed with our first lunch via pickup order. My tuna sandwich was a SALT bomb, it was so bad that I couldn't finish it (size was small too) & trashed it. My husband had the Italian Beef with giardiniera peppers. And again, it was too salty, so he couldn't finish it either. The sandwiches were very expensive for their inferior quality. I had a coworker tell me about this place and he mentioned that they had a Primanti Brothers sandwich. Being from Pittsburgh, where this sandwich is from, I had to try it. Overall, it was good, but there could have been some slight changes. First off, the fries that were on the sandwich were excellent! The only part for me that was a disappointment was the coleslaw. A Primanti bros sandwich has a vinegar based cole slaw and the cole slaw they used was creamy and they also added mayo which is never on a Primanti bros sandwich. I do appreciate a "west coast" Primanti sandwich any chance I get. It was a little on the pricy side, but I will go back another time and try another sandwich. read more

The portions are large, the meat is fresh, and the bread is perfection. Proper Sandwich is a small very good casual sandwich shop that is around twenty minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip. They offer a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches. They offer sides, regular and house made potato chips, bottled and canned soft beverages, beer, and wine. You order and pay at the counter and either take out or seat yourself. I tried a chicken banh mi. I thought it was very good. It seemed like a real rice flour baguette. It had lots of fresh chopped herbs and pickled vegetables. It also was made with a generous amount of white and dark chicken that was moist and tender. We shared house made salted potato chips that also were very good. My husband tried an Italian Beef with added Italian sausage. It was very good but not perfect. It was made with very good meats but the sausage was over cooked till hard. Also the bread wasn't study enough and the sandwich fell apart. The person taking our order was efficient. Worth a try! read more

Both breads tasted stale, oil used in the chips, old. The beef and porchetta were both chewy, hard to get through and an off flavor. Given it is the holidays, they are doing their best I guess. I am so disappointed with my recent catering order. I previously ordered catering from here for another baby shower and everything was absolutely perfect -- the sandwiches were individually wrapped, labeled, beautifully arranged on platters, and cut into thirds, which made it easy to serve everyone. It honestly helped make the event special, which is why I chose to order again. This time was a completely different experience. I was told I could no longer order in store and had to place everything online. When I picked up the order, the sandwiches were not on platters, not labeled, and not even cut for catering. I had to come home and cut every sandwich into fourths myself just so it would look like enough food for everyone. It honestly made it seem like we were serving tiny portions because we didn't have enough food. I love these sandwiches and was excited to share what I always considered the best sandwiches in Vegas with everyone at the shower, but this experience was such a disappointment. Love this place! Love supporting local, non-chain restaurants who genuinely care and are thoughtful with every detail into what they give out to the community. This is my second time coming to actually sit and enjoy my sandwich so it got the chance to also get to know Jeff. What a great guy who is so personable and knowledgeable about food and the food scene in town...from one foodie to another...we geeked out! The chicken banh mi was so freaking delicious, loaded with cilantro. The bread, the quality and flavor-fullness of the chicken, the ratio of everything was perfect. Except everything on their menu is probably as thoughtful so I will have to come back again and again to try them all and their homemade chips next time. And remember that chocolate chip sea salt cookie! I learned that many of their ingredients are imported and thoughtfully sourced. The place is clean and neutral smelling (not overwhelming like the smell of Lysol or pine sol like other places) and I love that wall made of wine crates. Beautiful touch! We were in the mood for sandwiches so we decided to give this place a try. Ordered online and went in for a pickup. Restaurant interior is clean and organized. We were greeted by a friendly lady and some enticing looking cookies. The lemon white chocolate is amazing. The salted caramel wasn't bad either. We had a Pastrami Rachel, Kyle's Chimmichuri, and a tuna salad sandwich. The meat, sauces and flavors were impeccable, and we were all impressed with the quality and portions. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the mood for some delicious sandwiches or even just some good cookies too. Why has it taken me so long to check out this sandwich shop? I have no idea but I am glad I finally made it. Wouldn't you know that I decided to come on their two year anniversary celebration where you were able to BOGO on the sandwiches. I was excited that I was able to purchase a sandwich for me and get one for my husband for free. The only downside was that seemed like the whole city knew it was their anniversary and we all had to wait for a little over an hour to receive our sandwiches. That's social media for ya! I enjoyed the Turkey Club with house roasted turkey, applewood smoked bacon, Swiss cheese, fresh tomatoes, shredded lettuce and of course some tasty chipotle mayo. I ordered the Italian Beef for my husband. This was made with roasted beef, giardiniera on French bread. This was also good, not great.
