This is the best "Arby's" beef and cheddar you can get. Big sandwich filled with good quality beef.

I am not a sandwich person but was inspired by the Instagram ads. I ordered the Rachel which is their pastrami sandwich and my husband ordered the steak and blue cheese sandwich. All I can say is WOW!! These were both incredibly high quality sandwiches with ingredients stacked to the brim. The pastrami was thin and flavorful and perfectly complemented by the coleslaw and dressing. The rye bread has the perfect amount of rye flavor, soft bread with a chewy crust. I also ordered the arugula salad which is simple with arugula, parmesan cheese, pecans and a lemon vinaigrette, it was delicious and complimentary to the sandwiches which bursted with flavor. We love these sandwiches so much last weekend that we visited again this weekend and I tried the Liz Lemon which is their pastrami with added turkey and potato chips and it is divine. They have converted me into a sandwich eater! My daughter loved the prime beef and cheddar sandwich said the potato chips with the best she's ever had

Alright, I've had plenty of sandwiches (sandos) in my life but this place takes the cake. The bread, quality ingredients and the house made giardiniera really stood out. The menu isn't massive but they are doing it right here. Also draft beer and cans galore to satisfy anybody's thirst. The beef and cheddar was the star of the show. Unreal how delicious it was. Can't wait to come back and try the Chicago beef. This is most definitely my new go to Sando spot.

Found a new yummy sandwich place! We ordered Kyle's Chimichuri Beef, the Italian Hoagie, and the Turkey Club. They were all sooo good! Next time we want to try some of the sides, since we weren't super hungry this time. We'll definitely be back.

My husband had been raving about Proper Sandwich. We got the Ban Mi & the Kyle. Best sandwiches hands down. Please do not skip this place. The food, the house made chips, the beverage selection was all amazing. Will be returning much sooner rather than later! The restaurant is so neatly decorated, music was chill, and service was on point.

I love proper sandwich! I'm obsessed with their cold turkey/bacon sandwich. The staff is always friendly here, the place is clean even when it gets busy around the lunch hour. They have plenty of drink options too. It is a smaller shop so seats are limited but I love grabbing a window seat and enjoy my cold sandwich on a hot summer day!

Great Sandwich, fresh ingredients! I was able to stop here for lunch today, the food and staff were great! I ordered the caprese sandwich, and it was so fresh and delicious! I was able to order right away, and have the food out to me in no time! The sandwiches are a bit on the smaller side, but the taste and ingredients make up for that! So much flavor. Easy to access off of Rainbow. So good!

Small sandwich that is right on Rainbow blvd. Its a cute spot with a small menu and I liked that cause it doesn't feel overwhelming. My boyfriend and I split the Primanti Brothers sandwich since we heard they are pretty big. The sandwich was definitely thicked and packed with meat. The sandwich came with salami, ham, amish coleslaw, provolone cheese, french fries, mayo on top of sourdough bread. It was so good and hit the spot! Their sides are all decently priced $3 for chips and fries. Cashier was friendly and they were pretty quick on making our order. We would love to come back and try more sandwiches. The chimichurri one captured our eye for next time.

This little sandwich shop sits on the corner of Patrick Ln and Rainbow Blvd - so don't miss it because it's definitely worth visiting! The menu isn't huge, which is usually a good sign, because it means they try and perfect what they have on there. And that philosophy obviously works because so far the 3 different sandwiches I've had here have all been absolutely delicious. The beef chimichurri might be my favorite one. The bread is nice and soft and the meat is flavorful. It also comes with a layer of (garlic?) french fries over the roast beef. I've also had the Italian Hoagie and the Prime Beef & Cheddar and both are just as yummy. And they come loaded with meat - so 1 sandwich is definitely enough but just in case they offer different chips you can buy to go along with your meal. We'll definitely be back because I have my eye on their caprese sandwich. Good job Prosper Sandwich! You definitely made a regular out of me.

Like the name says...it's a proper deli sandwich. Equal parts filling to bread. We left satisfied and full bellies. The staff was friendly & service was quick. Interior is clean & comfortable. I see why it's a Yelp favorite. Flavors were good but didn't knock my socks off.

Delicious Sandwiches made with fresh ingredients! We got a couple of Bahn Mis, one beef and one of their best seller --Grilled Lemongrass pork Bahn Mi. We also ordered their house-made potato chips and lemon coconut cookie, which were both out of this world!! There are Plenty of seating available inside & Friendly service! We will definitely come back and give their other menu items a Proper try!!

So this has quickly turned into my "go to" sando shop. I was just introduced to this place about a month ago and can basically say ive ordered from here at least once a week (sometimes twice). The environment is hospitable , they have beers on tap, and the sandos are just so good. I have yet to go wrong with any of them but my favorites are the Primanti and the Rachel. Ive also had the caprese and the italian hoagie...and eyeing the other ones at this pt. The side of fries are crispy and delicious as well and then the mac salad with spam is just solid. Honestly just really solid sandos packed with flavors and love the variety of sandos they have. Definitely the spot for me and will continue hitting it up to try all the options

My husbands choice, also very good!

Do you offer gluten free bread?

Yes, we have an awesome gluten free bread made by Mrs. Fields. We have it in a few shapes and sizes so we can make a gluten free sandwich that's as close to a standard sandwich as possible.

Our table had a little bit of everything -- loco moco, Portuguese sausage, extra Spam, gravy and rice, kimchi fried rice, stuffed French toast, and the Sole Moco. Everything landed well. The kimchi fried rice was a standout for my daughter -- flavorful without being overpowering, just the right balance. The stuffed French toast was tasty and satisfying without being too heavy. My husband loved the Sole Moco, and the portions did not disappoint. But the star of the show for me? The Da Hale pancake. It's a thin, buttery pancake that might sound simple -- but add a little coconut sauce and it becomes something special. Absolutely my favorite thing on the menu. A quick tip: if you're not big on heavy gravy, ask for it on the side when ordering any of the loco mocos. You'll thank yourself later. One thing to keep in mind -- Da Hale is a bar in the evenings, so the ambiance leans more in that direction. It's not quite what you might picture for a breakfast spot, but don't let that stop you. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the service. Both visits, we were helped by the same server -- warm, friendly, and she even remembered us from the first time. It felt less like a restaurant and more like showing up at your aunty's house for breakfast. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and even harder to forget.

The food overall was unique and delicious. Da hale pancakes 8/10: I've never tried these crepe like pancakes before and honestly I prefer these over the original bc it feels lighter since the batter is crepe thinness. The only thing is that I wish it was more crispy on the outside or something bc that would make it a 10/10. The sauce/syrup was so good and that little fluff of whipped cream was a perfect ending. Adobo omelette 6/10: maybe it's because I don't rly know what adobo taste like but I did confirm w the server that it's suppose to be a bit sour/vinagary. The egg itself was nice but the taste of the dish was not for me. But again it's probably because I'm uncultured lol. Kailua pig 9.5/10 this was my favorite dish! Super delish and the meat wasn't dry. I may also be biased bc I just love a good kalua pig! Overall the service was so nice although it can be slow. And the food was pretty good.
