This spot is one of those hidden gems & it's on Hulapai! Nothing around compares, the food & service are delightful. Handmade treats are delectable and fresh (I won't mention my favorite, because that's mine all mine lol). The food is all made to order, nothing just sitting and waiting for one of those reheats. I know, you know. Fresh, quality ingredients crafted into delightful and delectable dishes. Rita & staff have pride in the dishes and you will know at first bite! Ha! What will be your fav at Sofra try & find a favorite!

Wow! I'm glad this great neighborhood Mediterranean spot opened! I love trying family owned restaurants, and this place did not disappoint. There was only one person working today, and I think she's the owner. Very friendly, and she had some good recommendations for the menu. I was impressed how efficient she was being the only person handling the front and kitchen. There were still people dining in, people coming in for their to go orders, and our food still came out pretty fast. The interior of this place is so cute and beautiful. The light neutral colors really pop, and all their tables are round, which is my preference for any restaurant I go to and great for groups. The chairs are also soft and super comfy as well. This place has a cafe vibe, but has some good offerings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We decided to come by for dinner. There are menus displayed on a screen above the kitchen and menus at the counter. You order your food at the counter. We got the feta fondue to start, gullash and sofra mix grill, and baklava ice cream. The feta fondue was amazing with the soft bread it comes with. My husband and I shared the Gullash and Sofra Mix Grill, and it was the perfect portion to share. I probably could've eaten the Sofra Mix Grill by myself if we didn't share the gullash. The meats that the Sofra Mix Grill came with was so flavorful, it was good with or without the tzatziki sauce it comes with. The gullash could use more flavor, but still good. Last, we had the baklava ice cream. The baklava ice cream comes as a shareable portion between two people, but next time I'm not sharing. This was probably one of the best ice creams I've ever had. I can come here just for the ice cream. Everything we had was amazing. We basically wiped our plates clean. I have to say this is now one of my favorite Mediterranean spots and I can't wait to go back!

Stunning fast-casual restaurant with friendly service. Why only 3 stars? Well, I ordered the waffle with blueberries & cream. The restaurant didn't have a waffle iron, so had to buy my order from next door (Alchemy). I literally saw a male staff walked in from next door with my waffle plate. The waffle wasn't freshly made; rather, It was one of those sweet Belgian waffle that are individually wrapped. How disappointing! I could have made my own breakfast with waffle iron from home.

When I walked into Sofra Tavern, the first thing I noticed was how warm and welcoming it felt. The windows had these beautiful floral designs on them that immediately caught my eye and gave the place a really charming touch. Inside, the walls were painted in this soft burnt color that made the whole space feel cozy and relaxed. The tea was also so cute when it came out. It was one of those drinks that's basically made for an Instagram picture before you even take a sip. Everything just looked so pretty and thoughtfully presented. For dessert, the baklava ice cream was such a fun combination. It had this smooth, melty texture but still had that nice crunch from the baklava pieces. My absolute favorite though was the baklava cheesecake. It was rich, sweet, and had the perfect balance of creamy and crispy textures. Definitely something I'd go back for again. The main course that I totally forgot to mention was the chicken sharwanna (totally butchered the name) the wrap was good as well. The best part was that the fries were fried in beef tallow.

Found Sofra Taverna on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it's only 10 minutes from home. We ordered the Qebapas with fluffy pita bread, kajmak, ajvar, onions, and cabbage, along with Turkish tea, coffee, and a shawarma wrap with fries to go. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and Rita was very friendly and welcoming. She confirmed that all the meats are halal except for the sujuk, which we appreciated. Service was swift! Sofra Taverna has only been open for about 4 months and is a great spot if you're looking to try something different. The desserts, including the baklava, looked amazing, but we were too full to try them this time. We'll definitely be back!

So grateful that my husband found this cozy spot in Summerlin! We were blown away by the delicious food and welcoming service. We ordered the hummus dip appetizer to start which was so yummy. The bread that accompanied the dip was warm and fresh. For our mains, we went with the Sofrah Mix Grill and Gullash. Both options were phenomenal. We were literally scraping our plates to finish every last drop. Afterwards, we ordered a few different baklavas. All of them were crisp, tasty, and not overly sweet. My husband also loved the Turkish coffee! We are so excited to come back and enjoy more homemade Albanian food! Also - everything is halal which makes my Muslim heart happy. I hope that more people get to try this hidden gem!

Absolutely delicious! Have been wanting to visit since they opened and so glad I did! Started off with a side as hummus and pita and it was the perfect amount for a starter and the presentation was visually pleasing. Enjoyed the Chicken Shwarma it was the perfect amount and fries cooked to perfection. The kabob has great flavor and tastes so fresh and well prepared. Definitely will be back to try their breakfast and desserts. You won't regret coming here

Truth be told was very skeptical going in since this spot was highly regarded and recommended by my cousin but had to try? Right off the bat loved the round tables and overall layout with corner booth tables. Decor was very modern with subtle Albanian/Turkish touches? Very welcoming and pleasant surprise for a small strip mall brick and mortar? Another delightful surprise was this is definitely Albanian or Balkan (Mediterranean) I've never experienced so had to look it up.... Albanian food is a rich blend of Mediterranean, Turkish, and Balkan influences, emphasizing fresh vegetables, olive oil, dairy, and grilled meats!! I had the Sofra mixed grill plate w/double salad and the beef kofta was ridiculously juicy moist tender and absolutely delicious!!! I could definitely have just a plate of that all day!! I also tried the Mediterranean burger and suggest everyone to try!!! Keep in mind the patty is an 80-20 combo of beef and lamb so very uncommon but absolutely should be added to every patty combo!!! Juicy lean tender and absolutely delicious!!! The hidden secret gem was the pickled house made slaw and the house made bread!!! Highly recommended!!! Staff were so patient, informative and attentive!! Please go support this local family owned and operated neighborhood business !!!

The ambiance just what I needed after coming from the nail salon. Service is great. I ordered the Qebapa it comes with fries and is delicious. I can't wait to try them again.

Chicken shawarma, French fries, baklavas and black tea

Incredible service , always a pleasure to come in. Food is top tier. I'm Persian and picky... and this Mediterranean spot did NOT disappoint. Such a hidden gem. Vegas is lucky to have Sofra!!

The six-course meal was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and delicious. I especially loved that parts of the dining experience were interactive, it made the evening feel even more special and immersive. The ambiance was perfection. The warm red glow, gorgeous decor, and thoughtfully dim lighting created an elegant, intimate atmosphere without making it difficult to see. Every detail made it feel like I had been transported somewhere truly special. The live entertainment was the perfect finishing touch. The belly dancers were incredibly talented and added so much energy and authenticity to the evening. Combined with the music, it created an experience that was about so much more than just dinner. One of my favorite moments happened as soon as I was seated, when my hands were ceremonially washed. It was such a unique and welcoming touch that set the tone for the rest of the night. Our server was outstanding. Once he learned it was my first time visiting, he made sure I felt welcomed and took great care of us throughout the entire evening. The service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, everything was flawless. Marrakech isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience. If I could give it more than five stars, I absolutely would. I can't wait to return!

I've had Greek food that was more flavorful. Greek food tends to be a bit pricier than others so I have a higher standard. I can brag on a few things. The restaurant was very clean and cute. I loved that they had TVs and we could watch the World Cup game that was on. You order your food up front, pay, grab your drink, and then sit down with your number. They bring the food out to your table. I love the CocaCola freestyle machines. Unfortunately this one didn't have any diet or zero options other than Aha sparkling water. That was a bit disappointing. They do have canned Diet Coke along with some interesting Greek drinks in a refrigerator. I ordered the gyro plate and my son got the falafel gyro. We both got the feta fries. These are really delicious. There was so much feta and herbs on the crispy, coated fries. My portion was great on my gyro plate. The salad was pretty but the Greek dressing was very mild and lacking in flavor for me. The same with my gyro meat. It was just okay. When you mix beef and lamb, it creates this delicious flavor and I just didn't get that here. The tzatziki was very bland to me. It was almost just straight yogurt. My son's falafel pita was very good. It was soft in the inside with the slight crisp on the outside. It was a large size pita and filled up my teenage boy. The desserts sounded delicious and the baklava in the case next to the registers were phenomenal looking. We didn't make it that far to get to have dessert. Since my son loved it so much, we will be back. I will try a different plate next time and hopefully be able to get dessert also.

This review is for Las Vegas Restaurant Week…read more This restaurant week set meal was truly amazing. It's been a long time since I've been wowed by a restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money.
