This location is on Sunset & Grand Canyon so it's Southwest, quiet, neighborly. Parking is free. We walked into the entrance and there was no one to greet us but there's a sign that said please seat yourself. I wanted to play video poker so I chose a bar seats. I have to say machines are tight and be careful pressing max bet because it's 10 credits instead of 5. During my first visit Corey helped me and signed me up and explain the new members perks. She was friendly and helpful. On my second visit I took the hubby with me on a Saturday. I heard they have $25 steak and lobster specials so that's what we ordered. It was delicious!! The steak was surprisingly tender and moist despite ordering mine medium well. Don't give me that look!! lol I grew up loving beef jerky and I don't eat anything raw so bloody or pink steaks is not for me. My hubby on the other hand ordered his steaks medium and it came out just right, with the steak juices running into his plate. The lobster was also cooked to perfection. It's a pretty decent size, tender and moist. I was expecting tough dry steaks and overcooked lobsters but I was proven wrong. In this case it's a pleasant experience. Bobby was our server/bartender and Francis was the barback who brought us our food. I washed all the yummy food down with ice tea. Hubby got a bottle of Fiji bottle. He looked at me and said, they gave me Fiji water so I had to explain that since we're both playing video poker it's comped. He doesn't play much but tonight I made him play lol He also got a new member sign up bonus which if you play $50, you get $50 free play. Cool deal!! Again the machines were kinda tight. I'm thinking 4.5 stars. Very good value. $135 gets you (supposedly) an 18 oz rib eye steak look at the pic and judge for yourself - seems smaller but still plenty for all the food we had. The quality of rib eye was not great. They cut it up which I HATE and no rib cap from what I could tell. The cook was a nice charred bbq flavor. Also 2 - 6oz lobsters tails again - the lobster was cut into small pieces - WHY!!!??? . It gets cold faster and really sad presentation. Also you get 2 appetizers and and 2 salads AND 2 sides. We got 6 shrimps- that was cooked ok. Tuna chips they called it. Tiny pieces of tuna with a salad like thing on a corn chip. Just ok. We also got asparagus and potatoes wedge type thing that was good. Asparagus was about as good as you can get asparagus. Really good nice charred flavor with butter and seasoning. We added on mashed potatoes. They served it in a little skillet with a bunch of cheese. The skillet kept it hot for the entire meal. My MAIN GRIPE which was very disappointing. We asked that they served the salad and appetizers before the entrée. It came out so fast, which was cool. But then the entrée came out literally like three minutes after the appetizer. So we're sitting there with fresh salads, fresh appetizers, all kinds of food, which was great but everything sitting there getting cold. So I chose to not eat the salad or really much of the appetizers because I don't want my steak and lobster to get cold. If the owners read this, I would ask them to please tell their chefs to not do this. Let people eat their appetizers and salad salads before you serve the entrée. It's such a huge, huge mistake. I literally hardly ate any salad. I picked on it a little bit after I ate some of my steak. But I was really not able to enjoy the salad. It was my first time in with my boyfriend and we ordered the medium wings. They were good. I just wish they were coated a little more with the sauce. We also ordered the spicy Cajun chicken pasta and that was 11/10 delicious! The front hostess was very welcoming and Sabrina was our server. She was wonderful. We went here for the sirloin steak and lobster special, which we ordered one of, and upgraded another to the ribeye. The sirloin was rather large, almost cube shaped, and so thick that it would have been impossible to properly cook it all the way through. So, the outside was a little tough, and the inside was a little raw. But, most of it was good. The ribeye steak was more of a standard cut, and was properly cooked to order and tasted good. The lobster tails were decent size, bigger than we expected, bigger than that Australian place, put smaller than the "Scarlet" lobster. The steak and lobster dinners were both served with clarified butter and some sort of spicy chili oil. Service was friendly and pretty good, but sometimes a little spotty. I had an issue with the taquitos being a little bit too greasy for my own taste (although the beans and rice were delicious), so they happily exchanged my meal for the shrimp tacos, which were really good. I asked her recommendations of my entire Long Island iced tea. She informed me the Long Island iced tea had a lot more alcohol... Lol. And she was correct, I only needed one of them. it was actually a perfect Long Island iced tea. I could not actually taste alcohol. Dangerous but delicious. All of the steaks were cooked perfect. The lobsters are actually quite large compared to a lot of Las Vegas specials. One thing I can tell you, is rustic house does not reduce the quality of food on their specials. We love the loaded tater tots. A nice smoky cheese sauce with bacon. I would love to get the recipe of this, but it is guarded. We have to travel all the way to Vegas for this special cheese sauce. They have dinner specials every night but Tuesday. They used to have a Tuesday hamburger special something like half off I can't remember but they were great burgers. I've been coming here almost every week this summer. They have an amazing happy hour and daily specials. It seems to cater mostly to the residents nearby, but it's a good local bar restaurant. There is a daily special on steak and lobster Wednesday and Saturday and Sunday 50% off steak, which is what most come for. Happy hour is 4-6pm and after 9pm daily for selected drinks. The service is quick and staff is friendly! It has gotten better over the month and there seems to be some new servers each time I've gone. It depends on how busy the crowd can get I suppose. We've frequented Rustic House many times and genuinely enjoyed its neighborhood feel, which is why we were excited to spend Super Bowl Sunday there. We paid $400 fully expecting a typical Super Bowl experience -- including the halftime show -- just like any other venue hosting the event. Instead, management made the deliberate choice not to play the halftime show and replaced it with an alternative program. When this decision was made by management (Stephanie), it was clear this was a personal stance rather than a customer-focused one. The alternative content came across as divisive and left a very sour impression on what should have been a fun, communal experience. I was beyond disappointed -- though, honestly, not surprised. The Super Bowl is a shared cultural event, and choosing to override that experience without clearly communicating it ahead of time felt misleading, especially given the cost. Had we known in advance, we would have chosen to spend our money elsewhere. I truly wanted to continue supporting this business because of its welcoming, neighborhood vibe, but this experience changed that completely.
