So I ordered the Elvis peanut butter banana pancakes with eggs and bacon on the side and was very excited to try it . Once I received my food one pancake was burnt and the other pancake wasn't cooked all the way . I would've had a picture of it but I became nauseous, once I entered the bathroom I became more nauseous because the bathroom is disgusting as you guys can see from the photos . Needed Brunch ideas... close to my area. Tried this place and it was good. Tried a lil bit of everything.... The marinated steak tips were cooked well. Egg perfect, the hash browns were a lil on the oil taste.. grill taste Lips pancakes were exceptional you can taste every flavor separately. Strawberry chocolate and the cream cheese!!!! Knocked it Out of the park with me!!! I am not a sweet person with breakfast and I'm forever a fan!! Fruity pebble French toast seemed like it had been reheated great taste, but very rubbery. Stopped in here on an off chance for lunch. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly guy who invited us to sit where we wanted. He then brought over menus and took our drink order. The restaurant was cute, very colorful with string lights and quiet music was playing. My husband and I couldn't decide between sweet and savory so we each got a sweet and savory dish to try. My husband ordered the Elvis short stack as his sweet a they were interesting with bacon cooked into the peanut butter pancakes they tasted good but I didn't love the bananas with it. If I could give a zero star I would. Food: They burned our bacon until it was black and then had the nerve to bring it out to us. We have multiple plates with bacon and all of it was black. Once we got our plates the server never came back by for us to tell him and when he finally came back at the end of the meal we showed him the bacon for him to respond. Why didn't you tell me?" To which we responded you have been no where to be found and he said " Oh Sorry." The syrup bottle was a table syrup and it had hair and dust all over the pour spout so we took it off because it was gross. Service: He was a nice gentleman but he needs assistance on how to serve his tables. Never returned to our table. My daughter wanted some orange juice, we had no napkins and he failed to let us know important information about the bill which I will talk about next. Bill: We get the bill which seemed a lot higher than what we were anticipating because it's breakfast and we read the prices on the menu. I asked the server to get me a menu because something didn't seem right. We got the menu and showed the server that the prices on the menu aren't the ones on my receipt. He says the owner is here today let me find out why because that's weird. He comes back and come to find out every plate was charged an extra $2 per plate because we used our credit card. I don't know what kind of ingredients they used, but it was definitely well worth it plus more. I'm leaving this review because a gentleman that served our table really loves his job. We came here for breakfast to visit a friend from out of town. Very quiet and unassuming place even on a Sunday morning. Our server was friendly. But the food was just OK and the prices were really high. There are plenty of breakfast options out there that have better quality food for the same or a lower price point. So I remember why we stopped eating here. The service is terrible and slow. I had to ask the waitress to check in our food. The table next to us had finished their meal for a long time before they were checked on to pay their bill and grab to go boxes. We sat down at 10:05 am and food was not even ready by 10:30 so don't stop by if you want a quick breakfast. This place has been poorly run and it really shows by the lack of customers. I have to start by saying that I had read other reviews before trying this restaurant. Some were good and others not to good. My wife and I had pancakes. She had the velvet red with blueberries, and I had the cinnamon with blueberries. 3 pancakes each for what I would say is a reasonable price. The food was great. There was so much, that we brought home half of both orders for tonight's dinner. The workers there were very efficient. Took our order and when we finished brought us containers to carry the rest home. They also gave us some extra syrup. It wasn't very crowded since it was closer to 11 AM. So we didn't have to wait long for our food. All in all, I highly recommend Stacks & Yolks. I will definitely eat there again. If I could, I would've given them more stars. read more

We decided to try this restaurant for breakfast because it was across from our hotel. Don't waste your money. Just like others had said the bacon was so well done that it tasted burnt, no flavor at all. The eggs were so so, nothing special and over cooked. I had to chance to visit here while I was visiting the city. There is a parking lot and as always with this city I love places that have parking lots. It is located in a strip ball. When we entered, there was a table available, and we were seated right away. A server came over to get our drink order and then a few minutes later a server stop by to tell us about the specials and to get our food order. The menu is pretty big and the food can be overwhelming with so many choices. I love the novelty items that they have on their menu, but we decided to go with the special and , one of the simpler menu items. I ordered the special which was chilaquiles and my husband got marinated steak, tips, and eggs. Both meals were really good. The only issue that we had was that we ordered over medium eggs and we found both our eggs to be really runny. Also, although it is hard to cook small pieces of steak, medium, some of the steak in the marinated steak dish was a little overcooked. The marinated steak tips came with a biscuit and gravy. The gravy had great flavor. I found this breakfast to be a little on the expensive side. It seems that $61 for two egg dishes was a lot. I rationalize this by the area that it was located in and my husband ordering a steak dish. I would definitely visit again to try some of the other items on the menu. The secret spot! I just moved down to the Spring Valley area of LV and have been looking for a solid breakfast spot. As soon as I walked into Stacks & Yolks I was greeted with the most welcoming hello by Angel. The ambiance is open, clean, fun and homie. All their mugs say "Death Over Decaf" which I love lol! The menu has a variety of options, but not so wide that you worry about the quality. They for sure focus on quality over quantity! I ordered the chorizo scramble that comes with a flour tortilla - SO DELICIOUS! Reminded me of my grandmas scramble from when I was little. Our second visit to this hidden gem! The food is to die for! The ambience is...at least at the time we came in, which was 7 AM...quiet. The food was absolutely outstanding! The hubby and I split the breakfast sausage, egg, and cheese on sourdough toast sandwich, and...I would have taken a picture of it, but we started into it too fast and it was gone before you knew it! There was no way we could've eaten a whole plate by ourselves. It was graciously split right at the kitchen and no extra charge for the split. (Unlike some places I have remarked about.) Crunchy, flavorful, not too sweet, and balanced perfectly with the thick whip cream. Loved it and would go back for that.
