I've passed this place often and decided to check it out. It's your typical diner feel with all the local paraphernalia hanging up. Norm was actually there and it was impressive that he knew his customers orders and how they liked their various dishes. We ordered two pancake meals and the portions were huge. Everything was delicious, especially the seasoned potatoes. We will have to come back and try some lunch options.

Sweet little diner located across from Desert Breeze on Durango. Family owned and run. Fairly large parking area within this strip mall, and the restaurant has indoor/outdoor seating. We were seated right away and the menu is fairly robust- food breakfast options and interesting lunch fare. We opted for chocolate chip pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and a meat lovers omelette. They serve sodas in the can or bottle. Food came out quite quickly and tasted good! The only issue was no refills on our waters through the whole time we were there. That's kind of weird to me, but no refills means no refills I guess. We would try them again because they do boast having the best eggs benny, and you know your girl loves an eggs benny!!!

Hey Yelpers!!! So I saw this place in an IG post and wanted to come check it out. It's a small place tucked I tot eh corner of a strip mall. They do a great job of attracting attention with flag banners in the front of the location. Parking is easy. They have inside and patio seating if the weather is right. Inside is cozy with some classic R&B and retro music playing over the TVs. They have a variety of coffee options, featuring Lavazza coffee. I'll post some pics of the interior. They promote their Benedict breakfasts here. They have a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options. I went with the crab cake Bennie and the wife ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. The crab cakes were outstanding, about the size of a hockey puck and a nice helping of crab meat inside. The hollandaise was well prepared also. They also have their own "Red Dragon" hot sauce that is so delicious. I put some on my home fries along with. Little ketchup and they were delicious. The pancakes were light and fluffy with great bursts of lemon ricotta flavor inside. As for the service... Our server, Devonte, was very friendly and attentive. This is truly a locals place, with the regulars and owner hanging out talking. It doesn't have a feeling of being exclusive, though. We felt welcomed and enjoyed being here. I'd come back for sure and wouldn't hesitate to order the crab cake bennie again! Come give Norman's a try!

Was starving after 2 hours at the DMV. Found this Diner. Great little spot. Food was delicious and the waiter was courteous. Great customer service! The space was super clean and had an outdoor patio area. Come in and have breakfast or lunch

They say they have the best Eggs Benedict in town, and I can say it's definitely one of the better ones I've had recently. Even the hash browns were cooked to perfection. Restaurant is a little dated, but service was good!

You're not getting four star service here this isn't the strip, but you're getting someone who's going to make sure your coffee is filled your food. Comes out warm and there's there if you need them. Got the biscuits and gravy and hands-down, some of the best biscuits and gravy in Las Vegas. Give this a firm 5/5 And of course I had the creeps, but I like to call blintzes. Got it with the strawberry. Honestly, some of the best blitzes in town. The cheese mixture on the inside is heaven. Taste like a cheesecake wrapped in a soft fluffy blanket again 5/5. Then I got the pork chops and decided to get them breaded basically fried with eggs. Gave this only a 4/5 because it felt like the breading was overtaking the pork chop. All in all, pretty damn great for the price.

Blueberry Hill…read moreFamily Restaurant has grown to several locations across Las Vegas and is indeed a non-franchised and family owned and operated establishment as the name implies. It's a popular diner style eatery for locals and visitors alike and are known for their hearty breakfast with generous portions. It was packed on a Friday morning with a wait, but since I was dining alone, I was able to snag a seat at the counter for immediate service. The interior is reminiscent of an old fashion NJ diner which I grew up frequenting and felt like a little piece of home to me. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Southern-Style which typically comes with Country Fried Steak on two buttery biscuits smothered in their homemade gravy, two extra large eggs, hash brown and toast. I got the gravy on the side. Substituted the hash browns for breakfast potatoes and the toast for the grilled blueberry muffin (which comes grilled and with a side of fluffy butter) at no additional charge. I definitely recommend you do that because the toast is a bit redundant when the plate already comes with two massive buttery biscuits. You can also substitute the potatoes and toast for three large pancakes for no additional charge as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and ended with a Coconut Cream Pie to-go for later. I even packed up the blueberry muffin since I was so full. While their prices have crept up in recent years, it's still a fantastic value compared to what you would be paying on the strip. Be sure to pay in cash to avoid a 2.5% credit card surcharge.
